Prompt #67
By @writingpromptsworld
When the villain woke up, they did not expect to find themselves tied to a bed, their hands and legs binded. Their eyes shot out of their sockets, eyebrows frowning, as their hands twitched by their side to be let free. Panic. They could make out a patient gown that they were wearing for reasons unknown.
They struggled against the heavy metal chain that somehow seemed to wait more by the passing second. However, it wasn’t long before footsteps could be faintly heard coming towards them. Realization.
They held their breath, frozen, and their head throbbed in response. The hero. It was the hero, with a grin well too ingrained in the villain’s head, it was impossible to erase it.
They clenched their jaw at the sight of smiling teeth, and snatched at the chains again which in response tightened, and they let out a scream.
The hero shook their head with a sigh. “Don’t. Don’t try to be free of them, they’ll only strengthen in result.” They said.
The villain stayed silent for a moment, after stopping the fumbling around. They breathed heavily, looking at the hero. “Let me go.” They said, weakly, however the hero could detect the underline of threat they were trying to seep into their words. It didn’t work.
“No. I’m having way too much fun seeing you like this. Finally under my control.” The hero mused, smirking slightly.
“Let. Me. Go.” The villain repeated themself, clenching their jaw which increased the hammering of the headache.
The hero simply sighed again, as if in disappointment. They lightly treaded the ground until they were in front of the villain. “How about you stay still and wait until the scientists come, mhmm? They should be here any moment.”
The villain’s heart raced further, fear and confusion and anger filled their eyes, and they couldn’t help but grab at the chains again in order to espace. “What do you mean?” They asked, voice high but at the same time so afraid. And if it were anyone other than the hero, they wouldn’t have detected it. The hero did, however. And they took great pleasure in it.
“They’re going to experiment on you a little. See what goes in that little head of yours.” The hero smiled, delighted.
The villain’s anger only grew, and they tried to wrestle the chains again. It didn’t help, only made them cry out in sheer pain. They threw curses at the hero. Threats, promises to destroy the hero and the city, but it wasn’t enough. The hero had left by the time the villain was too tired to fight. And they had drifted off to sleep, more like fainted of dizziness.
The drugs did work, the hero pondered, walking out of the room.

The Hero and the Infant: Part Two
Read part one here
*~*~*~*~*
“Villain.”
The hero didn’t shout it. They didn’t need to. Villain would hear them fine even over all the destruction and screaming and emergency services. Hero just stared from the street up at Villain and Villain looked down at Hero. Hero lifted their hand in a wave and then pulled the cigarette from their lips, exhaling a lungful of smoke.
“Hero –” sidekick began but Hero shook their head.
“It’s okay kid. I got it from here,” Hero said still staring at Villain. “So, you gonna invite me up or do I have to climb twelve flights of stairs?”
Villain just stared. Sidekick moved forward, suddenly hesitant in bringing Hero here. Just as they opened their mouth to say it to Hero, Sidekick was wrenched into the sky by an invisible hand and suddenly Hero and the street were below them.
“Fucking shit,” Hero cursed, flicking their cigarette to the ground as they started running to the apartment building to the left of Villain and taking the stairs two at a time.
Villain stared at Sidekick with a probing, scientific kind of curiosity, like they were able to look under Sidekick's skin and unravel all their secrets with enough determination.
“You’re new,” Villain purred. Their voice like liquid silver dancing its way through the sky to Sidekick’s ears sending a shiver down their spine.
“Yeah. I’m Superhero’s sidekick.”
Villain tilted their head to the side and asked, voice deadpan, “do you know the mortality rate of Superhero’s previous sidekicks?”
Sidekick stared Villain in the eye as they said, “I do.”
“And you took the job anyways?”
“I did.”
“Hmm. Not very chatty. You remind me of an old friend of mine.”
“Forgive me, I don't usually chitchat while floating this high in the air."
"Hmm," Villain rumbled, "how about falling?"
For a single terrifying moment, Sidekick felt gravity's effects on them, yanking them back to earth and they gasped, reaching forward and grabbing Villain's leg like their life depended it.
"NO! Nononononononononono, wait! FUCK!" Sidekick cried as their grip on Villain faltered and they slipped. They fell an inch further in the air before they were suspended again, this time with their back to the ground below, staring up at Villain with wide frightened eyes. The only thing keeping them from the hard tarmac below thirteen stories below and being alive.
Villain turned over in the air, rolling onto their stomach and lying like a schoolgirl on their stomach with two hands supporting their head as they grinned down at Sidekick, drinking in their fear.
"You sound just like my favourite hero, Sidekick. I knew letting you fall would loosen your tongue a bit."
Villain was fucking insane, Sidekick realised, their heart still pounding like a rabbits at seeing a hungry dog catch their eye.
"Hero, I’m guessing?" Sidekick said eventually, though their voice still came out higher than it should have.
Villain smiled a fond smile that went to their eyes and lit up their entire face. “Yes. My dear cantankerous hero, so foul-mouthed."
“I met them today," Sidekick said, just trying to keep Villain talking and keep themselves suspended until Hero was able to talk Villain into hopefully letting Sidekick go. Where the fuck were they?
Villain's interest was piqued and they dove slightly towards Sidekick, grabbing Sidekick by the collar of their shirt and sitting on their waist, legs dangling over either side. Somehow, Villain made sure that even flying in the air, Sidekick could still feel the restrictive weight of Villain on top of them.
"And what did you think of them?" Villain asked.
What did Sidekick think of Hero?
"They were... difficult," was the first word that came to mind. Villain grinned and nodded sagely, agreeing with Sidekick as if it was a sacred moment.
“Nothing easy is worth having, Sidekick. Some parting advice.”
“You’re letting me go?”
“Oh yes,” said Villain with a disarming smile. “Quite literally.”
Sidekick didn’t have time to process Villain’s words before Villain shoved Sidekick down below them and wind rushed through their clothes, through their hair, through them as they fell like a comet to earth. This was how they died.
Then their momentum stopped suddenly, and they were swinging into a brick wall, their arm yanked out of its socket and Sidekick cried out in pain. Craning their neck up, they tried glancing up to see Hero above them, leaning half out a broken window, two feet planted on the sill and pulled Sidekick up despite their cries and cursing.
“God, I know. I’m sorry Sidekick. You shouldn’t have been here, god where the fuck is Superhero in all this!” Hero pulled Sidekick in the window and into their chest before stepping back and setting Sidekick down on the window sill.
“Fucking what the fuck?!” Sidekick mewled cradling their arm to their chest.
“I'm sorry, Villain doesn’t usually act like this,” Hero told them.
Sidekick blinked, pain lancing through their shoulder and down into their chest. “What?”
“They don’t usually act this way. First impressions are everything, but I swear there’s good in them.”
Sidekick blinked at Hero, shaking their head. “You’re defending them?!”
“Well, it’s my fault you see. This whole temper tantrum. I haven’t been returning their texts.”
“You haven’t—” Sidekick asked, then blinked and let out an exasperated “what?!”
“Your shoulder—” Hero said. “It’s dislocated.”
“No fucking shit!" Sidekick mewled. "You yanked it out of its socket!”
“Would you rather be a splat on the concrete? Cause I can still push you out the damn window, kid.”
Sidekick walked to the stairwell, fury and pain mixing in their heavy breaths as they braced themselves against the wall. Hero stepped forward a warning on their lips: “kid, I wouldn’t do th—”
It was too late. Sidekick had already thrown themselves against the wall. A resounding pop echoed throughout the stairs, followed by a sharp shriek of pain from Sidekick as they slid down the wall, breathing harshly through gritted teeth.
Hero opened their mouth, but Sidekick just held up a finger from their good arm and wagged it in Hero’s stupid face: “don’t. Say. A thing.”
Sidekick braced themselves against the wall, sliding up it with a groan of pain and rolled their shoulder. Forwards. Backwards. Then they set their furious eyes on Hero and without a word turned and started ascending the stairwell to the roof.
Hero laughed, stunned at the kid’s resilience, and followed them up the stairs. “Do you want some—”
“Just shut the hell up,” Sidekick said, kicking the door to the roof open and looking down pointedly at Hero who was midway through taking a bag of sweets from their pocket. “And go out and do your job.”
“Yes boss,” Hero said with a smile, putting a fizzy lace through their teeth. They emerged onto the roof, arms spread wide and yelled: “Hey! What the fuck are ya doing?” to Villain who was no doubt still floating in the sky, and Sidekick sat down heavy on the steps and took a few deep breaths.
They nearly just died.
Villain almost just killed them.
They would have killed them if not for Hero, and all they wanted to do was cry, but they were too angry.
“Just go out and do your job,” Sidekick chastised themselves, standing and wiping the remnants of tear trails from their cheeks before joining Hero on the roof.
Crying could come later if they lived that long.

love triangle with chat noir & claw noir

pairing: adrien agreste / chat noir x gn!reader x claw noir
tags: set during the paris special, romantic rivalry (chat vs. claw), flirting (cats with reader), lots of jealousy (both cats)

when ladybug and chat noir ended up in a universe different to their own, where they were villains called shadybug and claw noir, you ended up stumbling into that universe as well!
the first person you ran into there was claw noir, who was the obviously evil counterpart to chat noir
upon meeting you, claw noir seems to be head over heels for you! he might be a villain, but he has a bit of a soft side for you and immediately starts flirting!
and when chat noir sees the two of you together, with his evil doppelgänger being all over you, he HATES it!
chat noir feels super weird about seeing ‘himself’ flirt with you and he hates that the person he's jealous of is kind of himself…?
claw noir has an easier time to separate himself from chat noir! he doesn't think he has anything in common with chat, aside from his miraculous, their feelings for you and… well, their face! or whole body, really–
when flirting with you, claw noir is far more brash and suggestive, while chat noir stumbles over his words in comparison to claw!
but chat noir is always around you, to prevent claw noir to get the chance to flirt with you! he's very protective, as he doesn't trust claw noir at all, despite the two of them being the same person
claw noir and chat noir are both very jealous! that's another thing they have in common but hate to admit!
chat noir hates the idea that you could fall in love with a villain, while claw noir believes villains are more fun than those boring heroes!
they constantly try to find a moment alone with you, but are constantly crossing each other's plans!

love the classic damsel in distress trope, but the damsel in question is a pathetic fictional man bleeding out in the dark somewhere on the floor before his ridiculously gorgeous knight comes for his rescue just when he’s about to pass out, and the ridiculously gorgeous knight in question is actually a deranged villain who is his archenemy. but they both have these frustratingly unresolved sexual tension going on where they both hate each other but are also super possessive and protective of each other in the sense that no one else can hurt this little guy but me!!!! and so the knight carries his pathetic damsel in his arms bridal style back to his goth castle where they have hot, kinky gay sex ever after (after he nurses his pathetic enemy’s ass back to health, of course, can’t risk bruising our fragile damsel when he’s already half dead).

ੈ✩‧₊˚ Unscented |
Shigaraki’s hands were as soft as Tenko allowed them to be.
Pairing: Shigarki/Tenko x Reader
Genre: fluff/oneshot/drabble
check out my masterlist!

You’d love to one day write parallels about Shigaraki’s hands.
How the fingers that wreaked havoc upon Japan once held you with the lightest touch. That, yes, they’ve caused pain and suffering - but at the same time, you’ve never felt anything softer.
They never said Tenko wasn’t human.
Your first encounter with him was as expected. Shigaraki was always on guard, his eyes distant as they glanced you over. There was a moment of silence as this took place, the wooden floors creaking each time you shifted your feet, you wondered if this was the only thing he listened to as time passed (there was no room for conversation with just him and himself).
Rumors of the League were whispered in every alley you turned to, and while you never considered yourself a villain, the thought of being a perfect fit for society was just as incomprehensible. You noticed the flaking of Shigaraki’s palms and wondered if he would’ve ever fit that mold. (One day, when you’re both better acquainted, Tenko will help you shape your own).
“I wouldn’t call you a villain,” Tenko whispered to you one night, his voice barely audible over the creaking floorboards. The bar was still, with you two the exception, enclosed between the dim lighting from the lamps above. This was the closest you two have ever been, your fingers gently placing globs of lotion onto the webs of his hands. They weren’t as rough of a texture as you imagined, the skin feeling delicate beneath you. Perhaps it was the brand you bought this time.
Those eyes, once distant and wary, were now soft as they met yours. “You have yet to kill anyone,” he persisted, his tone somber and solaced. “And as far as I’m concerned, you still work a 9 to 5 job, just like the rest of the world.”
“I have yet to pay off a parking ticket.” You confessed, your voice filled with a type of guilt. The alcohol here was less than holy, yet the man in front of you offered acceptance, one that was devoid of judgment. There was a dumbfounded expression as he closed his eyes, allowing you to softly trace the irritation away as your thumbs gently soothed his flaking face - you wondered if this source of discomfort was physical or something more.
“I won’t sell you out.” He deadpanned, before turning to you with a menacing grin, “But seriously, I destroy everything around me. They call me a murderer and yet you’re still here. You’re still here.” Shigaraki grunted, his eyes turning dark and distant as if it were your first time meeting.
There was only a hum of acknowledgment as you finished aiding his inflammation. It’s times like these in which Shigaraki was unpredictable, but you were only ever worried for his sake. Tenko was always an impulsive man. “I’ve never felt safer,” you murmured, rewarding you with a scoff of disbelief.
“You’ll regret saying that if you ever turn to dust.” He mumbled, the threat empty. His (now soft) hand wrapped around your wrist, yet they held no real malice - you made it a point to ignore the fact that his pinky has always been raised.

a/n: How many months has is been since I last posted a fic? My age is showing in the sense that it’s hard for me to sit down and write all the time, but the mha hyper fixation is back, so hopefully the desire to write comes with it! This is my first time writing anything that isn’t Izuku Midoriya, I’m trying to branch out of characters that I’m comfortable with, but I promise I’ll post more of him soon.
Thank you for reading!

TW: Blood, Description of Injury (not in detail)
"This is the last straw."
The villain stood over the hero's battered form, all bloodied and bruised. The hero raised their head, not without difficulty, and saw the scowl plastered on the villain's face. The hero shuddered. "W-what do you mea—" Their sentence ended in a violent coughing fit, hacking up more blood in their palm. The villain crouched down in front of them as they settled, grabbing both the hero's wrists.
"I'm not letting you do this, going out there and risking your life. This little charade we had going on was fun, but it's gone too far." The villain's gaze dropped to the hero's hands, then down their arms, their suit. Where their body wasn't decorated by a series of cuts, a blossoming bruise lay just beneath the unbroken skin. The villain's face betrayed their concern and, the hero noticed, a hint of pity.
The villain locked eyes with the hero, and their expression hardened again. The hero gave them a sad smile, straining their split lip. "It's fine, Villain. This is my job. I chose this life, so I guess I have to deal with the bad stuff, too."
"It's not fine!" The villain almost roared, throwing their hands up to their head. They were up in the hero's face the next moment. "You could've died! And I'm the one who has to suffer for it! You... you..." The villain stared into the hero's eyes, pained. Their eyebrows drew close, first in sympathy, then with a resolve.
The villain sighed and dropped their head, standing up. They turned their back on the hero. The hero said nothing, only cocking their head in response. The villain turned their head back to the hero, and their voice took a low and dangerous quality. "You could've died. I'm not taking that chance anymore. From this day onward, your career as a hero is over."

“You should have just let me die,” the hero says as they stare at the ceiling, voice barely a whisper. The bed they’re lying in is hard and unfamiliar. Figures that even the villain’s infirmary would be shitty.
“And lose the satisfaction of killing you myself?” the villain replies from the bed next to the hero.
“It costed you though,” the hero says. They’re trying really hard not to think about it, but images of the villain getting their legs crushed keep flooding their mind.
“You think too little of the capabilities of my medical team. We’re much better than that team of idiots you have running around at your place.”
“It’s going to cost you more, you know,” the hero is trying really hard to stop their voice from shaking. It’s difficult. It’s difficult just having this conversation. They never would have imagined them being in this situation at all. Not in a million years. “They really want me dead.”
“Well, we’ll see about that.”
There’s a long silence after that.
The hero isn’t sure what to say. What are they even supposed to do? Are they supposed to thank the villain? Apologise? What are you even supposed to do when your enemy saves you from people you never thought you needed saving from?

Prompt #60
(Drunk hero👀)
“So…then, I told the superhero that I can’t not go. Because…” The hero slurred, trailing off as their eyes felt drowsy. Their hand was slowly falling down from the villain’s couch they were splayed out on, their legs dangling on the edge.
The villain hummed, nodding their head as if they were listening intently as they filled up an injection with a yellow looking drug. The hero groaned. “Because what?” They prompted, as they knelt down beside the hero, the cotton swab in their right hand, softly rubbing the skin on the hero’s arm. The hero’s eyes lazily drifted to the villain’s, the gentle smile the villain offered in the moment was cruel considering what they were doing. But, the hero smiled back, they could barely make out the villain’s face, let alone the syringe in their hands.
“Because…you were going to be there.” The hero finished, their eyes closed. A knowing tone and the widening smile gave away what they were feeling. The villain’s movement on the hero’s arm halted. Their eyes turned to the hero’s face, but the hero was already in deep slumber.
The villain contemplated on what to do. They couldn’t move after what the hero said. How could they just say that?! Surely, it was only because the hero was drunk. They didn’t feel that way about the villain right? The villain’s heartbeat increased, and they took a deep breath to calm themself. They lowered the syringe and put it away on the table placed by their side.
They stood up, and grabbed a blanket to cover the hero. They couldn’t do this, not today. Little did they know, that when they are slept away in their room in the morning, the hero wakes up and sees the syringe. Full. A small cotton ball thrown to the side.
Confusion, but most of all, a kind of fury settles in at the thought that they could ever have trusted the villain. They grab their weapon and walk to the closed room, in which inside the villain is tucked away, unbeknownst to the hero's growing rage.

Heroic Betrayal: part one
Hero followed the villain through the winding trees, arms braced in front of them at the oncoming bushes and branches they had to wade through before they got to a clearing.
Hero stopped, breath hitting off cold air, surrounding them in smoke. They listened for any sound but heard nothing.
Then – there.
A sudden movement.
Hero bolted after Villain again, hot on their heels as they sprinted after them. Villain was so close. Hero had to push a little faster. Hero reached out to grab Villain when someone knocked into them from the side. The trees extended above Hero, the world seeming to stretch as they fell.
Hero’s head hit off the frozen ground hard, rattling their brain, the world growing hazy for a moment. Hero’s assailant landed on top of Hero and while Hero was momentarily stunned, they sat up, knees straddling Hero’s hips effectively pinning them. Hero swung a closed fist up, but their wrist was caught, and their attacker pinned the other to the ground as well.
“Well, well, well. As I live and breathe, Hero. It’s been a long time.”
Hero would recognise that stupid drawl anywhere.
“Flynn?” Hero asked, their brain trying to catch up with their mouth. “What are you doing here? Get off me! Villain’s getting away.”
“I know,” Flynn said with an easy smile. “I’m meant to distract you.”
Hero’s blood ran cold. “What?”
Flynn tilted his head down at Hero.
“I didn’t hit you that hard, did I? If I want you to not remember something I won’t beat the memory out of you, don’t worry,” he said, leaning down to get closer to Hero, whispering, “I’ll take it.”
Hero threw all their weight into their hips, as they shifted, rolling Flynn off them so they were on top.
“As you like it, sweetheart,” Flynn chuckled. Hero threw a fist out and this time it landed.
“You’re a traitor?” Hero breathed when Flynn smiled up at them. “You’re one of them?! That’s why supervillain knows every move before we make it…”
Flynn put his two hands behind his head, grinning up at Hero with a charming smile. “I always did love when the mystery was solved in the end. Especially by you, that look on your face.”
“We were friends!” Hero snarled, fists grabbing the collar of Flynn’s shirt to make him listen. This wasn’t some game or joke they could just disregard. How could they be so calm? This couldn’t be happening. Everyone loved Flynn, everyone. He was always so nice.
“We are friends, dear Hero.”
“Not if you do this. Not if you’re one of them. Sidekick got hurt because of you!”
“And they’ll heal, won’t they? I warned them not to be put their nose in other people’s business.”
Hero sagged a bit. Their grip loosening.
“Are you going to take my memory?” Hero whispered quietly.
Flynn’s gaze softened and he put a gentle hand on Hero’s wrist. “No. I would never use my powers on you. It would take away all the fun.”
Hero’s eyes widened in surprise.
“But… but I know now. I’ll tell Superhero— do you want to be found out?”
Flynn’s smile turned secretive, like he knew something Hero didn’t. “No, you won’t.”
Hero stared at him; mouth open in silent confusion. Which all ended when they felt cold metal press against the back of their skull. Flynn beamed at someone behind Hero, then fixed his smug gaze on Hero’s eyes.
“You won’t because you’re coming with us.”

super villain from temu (villain & violent, infant & innocent)

Villain!Sunghoon x Hero!reader
(Crack, fluff)
wc: less than 1000 words
synopsis: He became a villain by accident. You became a hero by chance. Now, you're both stuck in a never-ending game of tag—except he's definitely losing (and somehow still flirting)
AN: hi guys!!! please let me know what u think in the comments i would really really appreciate it! leave as many requests as you would like!
Masterlist
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You weren’t exactly sure when Park Sunghoon became your biggest problem, but here you were, once again, staring him down in the middle of the city, exasperated beyond belief. The night air was crisp, the moon hanging overhead, casting silver light across the rooftop where you stood. It would’ve been almost picturesque—if not for the dork in the villain cape standing in front of you.
“You’re late,” he huffed, crossing his arms over his chest, his cape fluttering slightly in the breeze. “I had this whole villain monologue prepared, but now I’m just standing here like an idiot.”
You pinched the bridge of your nose. “Sunghoon, do you ever stop talking?”
“No. And as your sworn enemy, you should appreciate my dedication.”
You had long since stopped taking him seriously. Not because he wasn’t capable of mass destruction—no, the problem was that he was way too awkward to be genuinely evil. Like last week, when he tried to steal a hotdog cart as a distraction but ended up tripping over a ketchup bottle and getting mustard all over himself. Or the time he tried to hijack a news broadcast, only to accidentally press the weather channel button instead.
And yet, despite all his antics, Sunghoon still insisted he was your archnemesis. It was kind of… cute.
“I assume you’re here to fight,” you sighed, stretching your arms as you got into a battle stance. “Let’s get this over with.”
Sunghoon’s expression flickered for a moment—was that hesitation? He shifted on his feet, scratching the back of his neck. “Yeah. Fight. That’s what we’re doing.”
You raised an eyebrow. “Unless you have something else planned?”
“No,” he blurted out way too fast. Then he coughed, trying to look serious again. “I mean—yes. I have the perfect plan.” He lifted his hand dramatically, but nothing happened.
A long silence stretched between you. Sunghoon lowered his arm slightly, glancing at you. “Uh. I forgot what it was.”
You groaned. “Oh my god.”
“Wait, wait, I have a backup plan!” He rummaged through his pockets before pulling out a small remote. “Now behold, HERO!” He pressed the button, and suddenly—a metal cage clunked down from above, trapping you inside.
You blinked. “What the hell?”
“Jokes on you! I stole your dog! Now I have the upper hand, HERO!” Sunghoon cackled, arms crossed triumphantly.
Except. One tiny issue.
“I don’t… have a dog.”
Sunghoon’s face froze. “Wait. Then whose dog did I steal?”
A distant barking sound echoed from the side of the rooftop, followed by the furious stomping of an angry old lady.
“THAT’S MY DOG, YOU IDIOT!” she screeched, waving a cane in the air.
Sunghoon turned just in time to see the old woman whack him over the head. “oh shit.” He yelped, immediately bolting away as she chased him down the stairs. You stood there, watching the scene unfold, trapped in the ridiculous cage, contemplating your life choices.
After chasing Sunghoon down, knocking him out, and handing him over to the authorities (who, at this point, were getting tired of his antics), you sat beside his holding cell, sipping your drink.
Sunghoon, now sitting on the bench inside his cell, stared at the ceiling, pouting.
“This is so embarrassing,” he muttered. “I am a disgrace to villains everywhere.”
You leaned back against the wall, shooting him a lazy smile. “At least you’re entertaining.”
He exhaled, rubbing his hands over his face before finally looking at you. “You know… this whole villain thing?” He gestured vaguely at his surroundings. “It kinda started as a joke.”
You tilted your head. “What do you mean?”
Sunghoon let out a dry laugh. “Back in college, you just… became a hero. It wasn’t even some big, dramatic thing. You helped someone, people started calling you one, and suddenly it stuck. It was effortless for you.” He hesitated. “And I… I wanted to get your attention.”
Your breath caught slightly. “Wait, so you—?”
“I thought if I became a hero too, we could fight together,” he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. “Maybe you’d finally notice me. But I guess I botched it, because people didn’t call me a hero. They called me a villain. And instead of correcting them, I just… rolled with it. It was kind of… fun?”
Your heart twisted. “So this whole time—”
“Yeah.” He chuckled, shaking his head. “Not exactly how I pictured my life going, but hey, at least I get to annoy you for a living.”
Despite yourself, you laughed. A real, genuine laugh. Sunghoon’s eyes flickered with something unreadable before he grinned, his usual smugness returning. “See? I can still make you smile, even from jail.”
You sighed, shaking your head as you stood up. “Well… you’ve definitely got my attention now.”
Sunghoon blinked, then smirked. “Oh? So you admit it? You can’t resist me?”
You leaned down slightly, close enough that he sucked in a sharp breath. “I think you just like being chased by me.”
Sunghoon’s grin stretched wider as he leaned back against the wall, looking far too smug for someone in a holding cell. "Ohhh, you want me so bad. Just admit it, Y/N."
You rolled your eyes, but the warmth creeping up your neck betrayed you. Maybe you did. Just a little.

Angst Villain x civilian where the villain cheats on civilian with hero
“If it is of any comfort, it didn’t mean that much to me." The villain cocked their head, as if they were thinking about something intensively - which they weren't. They looked at the civilian, but failed to conjure any pity.
Their partner, well, probably ex-partner now, looked at them with wide eyes and tears rolling down their cheeks.
"I-" The civilian's hands were shaking, their face contorted in pain. "What did I- what did I do wrong?"
Their voice was shaking.
"Nothing."
"I..." The civilian took in a deep breath. "Oh god..."
They gasped for air desperately but the villain couldn't help but think about the hero in their bed, moaning lovingly. It was true that the civilian hadn't done anything wrong. They were quite good company to keep around. They were tidy (which was very important to the villain), they were nice, avoided conflict, didn't ask too many questions. The perfect kind of person to keep around, someone who wasn't getting involved in the villain's business.
But when it came to pure desire, the hero was simply more tempting. It was about power.
The civilian wasn't a challenge in bed.
The hero on the other hand...
"Oh god...I can't-" The civilian gasped for air over and over again, coming very close to mimicking a panic attack.
"I can move out if you want, or you do. Whatever you like."
"I wanted to marry you, I - I love you, I..." The villain raised a lazy brow.
"We can still get married if you want to, but I'd like to screw the hero every now and then," the villain said. The civilian turned away, but the villain could obviously tell that they were crying harder now. They would have never brought this up, but unfortunately, the villain had gotten a bit lazy and the civilian had found out about the affair.
It wasn't the end of the world, but the villain had planned to keep the civilian around for a little longer. More than once, they had thought about proposing to the civilian out of pure necessity, but the amount of work linked to that, had spoiled the idea quickly.
"You don't have to decide now," the villain clarified. "It's an option, that's all."
The civilian's back was still turned towards them.
"I had so many plans for us," they whispered, almost mumbled the words. "What did I do wrong, why are you doing this to me...?"
The villain rolled their eyes.
"Like I said, it didn't mean that much to me. They're attractive. They showed up at my work. We fucked on the desk and started to meet regularly." A lot of lies. Technically, they had been flirting with each other for the last year. "Work" meant their usual nightly activities. The thing with the desk was true, though.
The civilian turned around, eyes bloodshot.
"Did they force you? Because they're the hero?" The villain pursed their lips. Interesting. It was probably pretty easy to turn themselves into a victim in this situation (the civilian was by no means rational right now), but they had already admitted that they wanted to meet the hero in the future, so keeping up with that lie was going to be exhausting.
"No," the villain said. "Their ass just looked great that night."
"I don't understand, I thought you loved me?! We've been together for three years..." The civilian wiped away their tears but new tears followed and followed.
"...I like your company, yes."
"That's it?"
Once again, the villain cocked their head, staring at the civilian.
"Come on. A hero. The hero. Who can say no to that? It's a sexual thing. Has absolutely nothing to do with you. You're great." They shrugged. "Stay here. Get some sleep. We can talk about the rest tomorrow."
The civilian stood there, didn't dare to move.
"My love, you must be exhausted."
The civilian took in a deep breath. They nodded.
"There we go," the villain said softly. "You look lovely right now, by the way."
It wasn't that the villain liked being cruel - they just couldn't help it.

Despite being relatively well-liked amongst the villainous population of City, Hero hadn’t encountered this before: upon returning home, Villain, buried under their bed covers, chest rising and falling in listless sleep. Hero keeps the lights off as they shut the open window and change.
They lift the covers and slide underneath, filling the space beside Villain. Villain stirs, cracking an eye open.
“Well, well,” Hero whispers. “What’s a lovely little troublemaker like yourself doing in my bed?”
Curtain-filtered moonlight casts over their face. Villain’s lips quirk up in half a smirk. “Was looking for someone to hold. Somewhere to hide.”
“From Supervillain?”
“Yes.”
Locking legs and hands finding waists; rites of comfort. Affection and longing. Suddenly, they’re both so tired.
“Can we stay like this for a while? Before you arrest me?” Villain’s question is suspended between theirs and Hero’s lips.
“You kidding?” Hero replies. “I might keep you to myself all night.”
They never fail to make Villain smile. “Maybe I should be more afraid.”
“Absolutely. People say I’m terrifying, haven’t you heard?” They tug Villain close, soliciting a laugh.
Hero reads something unspeakable in Villain’s gaze. A singular love they’ll never need to define, for they’re the first to hold Hero’s heart this way.
After a minute, “For the record, no one says you’re terrifying.” They burrow into the embrace. “But this is.”
It breaks Hero. These moments when each passing second feels like a facture. When holding Villain isn’t enough and reality promises to tear them apart.
“I know.” They kiss the crown of their head. “But we have tonight.”
Hero plans on sleeping in and waking up alone.
