Like Warp and Genesis. Future 'hero' and emerald guardian respectively.

Phew, finally done with the dod headshots! I definitely had a lot of fun and I loved experimenting with a more cartoony style and brush textures!

I tried to keep their designs based closely to their names and personalities! I did make tsunami a little bigger size wise than clay but she’s definitely shorter and more muscled than him.

I tried to make glory and clay almost iridescent like clays underbelly is described in the books as copper like and I wanted to bring parallels between clay and glory bc I like the idea that they are kinda alike if u know what I mean? And I wanted to give Tsunami fins like a wave of water like what surfers surf on! Like those water tunnel pictures! And I loved giving sunny features like starflight bc she’s a hybrid. I feel like if she wasn’t so unassuming you’d immediately be able to tell she’s a hybrid heheh. And I like to think Tsunami hated when her siblings got hurt enough to take all their “training sessions” with kestrel nearly every time, and continuously challenged the guardian enough that when she did take them kestrel didn’t hold back whatsoever and was constantly nearly permanently injuring her and she required many, many scars over the years.

You know how people say giving Sunny more NightWing like features would give her away as a hybrid? SandWing's canonically have black markings and since we're already playing around with designs anyway yeah that can extend to markings beyond the diamond pattern. Split down the middle black and gold Sunny can just be seen as a weird case of melanism/natural SandWing patterns before the reveal be free have your cake and eat it too.

Bait accepted my question is how would you powerscale the children. Battle royale who would win. What is their weapon of choice in the battle of the children?

On a less insane note what are their favourite fashion styles?

Also how do Fable and Stella (+Sayo and Luna?) and or Pearl and Clementine get along?

This is like 5 questions so feel free to be selective- anyway the Rat child is my favourite we love to see Espio follow in Vector's footsteps of just taking in random children.

Most of them aren't actually all that strong power wise. Most of them don't ever see real combat because there's not many reasons for them to fight. But Fable. Fable would win because she would take her inhibitors off to deck someone so hard. Pyre is hitting a high second place but she's got the fatal flaw of being easily egged on. Tazer is getting far not on his powers but the fact that he's got the worst parts of both his moms attitudes. That's also why he's not winning.

Honorable mentions Sunny and Jade who would be banned from the child battle for being toddlers but if were allowed to fight would absolutely place if allowed to fight.

Most of them are using powers, except Stell who doesn't have any. Stell is however getting way farther in the competition then anyone would expect because she's one of the oldest and the most well trained thanks to her dads.

I would answer the fashion question but im still figuring that out myself. Tazer dresses like a clown though.

Stell and Fable get along great, Stell really likes being an older sister and Espio and Shadow did a lot to make sure she felt like she wasn't losing her spot in their family. Stell will pick on Fable a lot but in the way a sibling does to show they love you. Fable shows her the same respect.

Luna and Sayo are interesting do to basically being twins and the family babies. If they weren't siblings Luna would bully Sayo. She still try's to but no one lets her get away with it. They're dubiously canon on existing in TDTD au but if they do that also means that Fable and Stell are also step siblings to Genesis and Warp and that would cause so much chaos and problems. Though outside of that in universes where they do exist Sayo's favorite big sister is probably Stell because she protects her. Luna's is Fable because she thinks she's cool for basically being a bomb and sneaking out to go cause trouble.

Clementine is very protective of Pear, it might have something to do with them actually being twins or that it's just in his nature. Though in these twos case Clementine is so protective of his sister that it's basically coddling. Pear could easily protect herself but usually doesn't instead Clementine will always almost immediately take over the situation.

on the 'brought a random child home from a mission one day' thing I hope you'll be happy to hear that Espio specifically told Shadow when he was bringing her home that 'It is just a temporary situation until the reconstruction can locate a suitable permanent family placement for her.' and assured Shadow that he wasn't attached and then when he walked into Shadows very unchild suitable apartment carrying her Shadow just knew that she was staying.
