When you only use female characters as fuel for the male characters' storylines and vilify female characters despite the male characters doing much more heinous shit...your writing is misogynistic.
No, I don't care that "Hazbin is the female driven show!"
No the hell it's not. The male characters get their time to shine to the point it borders on overshadowing the main character.
Even if the female characters aren't the focus, you could do better than fall back on tired, sexist tropes. Really? Millie hardly had her character explored and now she's pregnant?

Oh, NOW these motherfuckers want to play the moralist? Seriously?
"" character development"" my ass.
And this gets really funny when we remember that in the pilot they killed a child who had reported a crime and handed the body over to the mother (and let's remember how the mother's desperation was treated as if she were an annoying and dramatic bitch? or how they try to justify the murder of the child just because he was "annoying"?) not to mention some other IMP targets.
Not to mention how annoying it is how Stella doesn't even try to pretend to behave well in front of Via. Both Stella and André behave in a cartoonishly evil way (and remember that this show is supposedly "deep and morally gray"). I found their behavior funny, but when I remembered that I'm watching a moralistic series like Helluva Boss, all the fun went away.
P. S. About Millie's pregnancy, I honestly don't care, her and Moxxie's characters have always been more like irrelevant NPCs and I've never been interested in either of them. But yes, it's something that happened out of the blue, I mean, did she and Moxxie ever talk about wanting or not having children? Was there any preparation for this moment?
But yeah, she doesn't seem too excited.

The "Karen" Customer Is Just A Strawman For Critics Of Stolitz
Let's be honest this woman was meant to bash anyone who dared disagree with the golden calf that is Stolitz. She had to be made a metaphor for why we shouldn't side with Stella and make the family that move on from her being so perfect under the two dads, while trying to dismiss her anger at being cheated on because she's homophobic. And again the narrative tries to dismiss her like they did previously with Stolas and him cheating and even weaseled saying it isn't as bad. Again it's like with Stella the show tries too hard to make her unlikable while babying her husband and making it seem that he was justified doing it. The show is allergic to nuance and hates anyone who points that out, so they need to bash them for doing it.

It’s cool that citizens of Hell embrace their respective Sins and Hell Hound’s Sin is Gluttony. Which we have discussed can be more than just eating…than why is all Loona doing is eating?? And her friends, love that she has friends now, are dressed as food. I’m pro that Gluttony can be more than just eating but in Helluva it’s just eating. Doesn’t help that when we see someone like Mammon eat, it’s seen as disgusting.

I genuinely can’t even fucking tell if they’re serious, making fun of themselves, or are trying to be satirical.
(Maybe they’re referencing Brandon’s “Move, I’m Gay” line from one of his sketches? But given that the show’s writers and many people in the fandom seem to actually believe in this sentiment I literally have no fucking idea how to take it)
(Also before anyone tries me, I’m not saying you shouldn’t be nice to gay people. Im gay. You should be nice to all people. I’m saying that given the mentality some of the fandom (and possibly the show’s writers) have around Stolas’ character literally being “he’s gay so that excuses anything he does wrong” I cannot tell if this is a joke or not)

NOT STOLAS WHINNING ABOUT BEING A NORMAL FUCKING PERSON LMAOOOO
And we are supposed to feel bad for his ass? Oh no, he has to eat eggs! Even though birds eat their own eggs in real life. That is POOR PEOPLE FOOD compared to his fancy diet.
He did not even say "Thank you" to Blitz for making him breakfast, he got grossed out by it instead and Blitz tosses out his plate. Stolas should have eaten the pancakes and bacon. He did not even TRY too.
Blitz is taking him out the apartment, taking him to a diner and defending his "honor", taking him clothes shopping, and catching rats for his ugly ass. I know he does not have his meds and is worried about Via but there should have been moments in this montage of him giving a weak smile to Blitz or something! They are in love, right??
Stolas looks horrified because he has to do a job now! He is crying like a little bitch, with tears in his eyes. See Loona, that is your future stepfather!
Becoming less fortunate broke his mind! This scene comes off as funny than sad. It so dramatic like come down, you are only going to hanging out with the lower class for 100 years. You will be able to go back to your posh lifestyle while the lower class will stay poor forever and be use as servants and pets.
Viv is obviously going with the "Riches to Rag" storyline with Stolas. I mean he is one of the examples on the TV tropes page. It is a common writing tactic for rich characters to go like it is crazy how many examples there are.
Stolas is coming off as ungrateful for what Blitz is doing for him, and he comes off as whiny. If Stolas was a child or teenager, his reactions of crying that he is poor now and him destroying stuff would be fine. This is a grown ass man with a whole ass daughter. Via is 17 and she is more mature than her father.
I took a Sociology class recently and learn about more about class and castes systems. From how a lot of Americans do not think America has a class system to how Japanese's abolished caste system stills harm Burakumin in modern times.
I would love a storyline of a someone from the higher class unlearning their classist beliefs and learning how the lower class has to live from losing everything. They learn how harmful the class or caste system truly is.
Maybe another writer can handle this topic better, I do think this topic will be handle with care. Viv is from a middle-class background, growing up in a fancy part of Maryland, and she likes to go on fancy vacations every month. At the same time, some artists on her crew have to open emergency commissions because they got bills to pay.

Things I like about this decal on a restaurant window: -the insane orange waiter -that he’s carrying his plates in the air like a strongman -the couple looks like this isn’t the first time he’s done this, but it’s easier to just let it happen at this point. -the sign says PASTA as if he’s screaming it like a frankenstein -but he’s holding a plate of an entire chicken and a plate of wine glasses -there’s three wine glasses -one’s for him.
