“Hey,” Hinata asks you one day, as you both sit on the bed in your dorm, “have you ever been kissed?”

The sudden question startles you, causing you to raise your eyebrows at him. “Huh? What brought this on?”

He shrugs. “Eh, Atsumu talks about kissing sometimes. I’ve never done it.”

“I haven’t either.” You tell him a little quietly. It’s always been a spot of insecurity with you, your lack of experience, especially since people say college is supposed to be the perfect place to experiment and have fun.

You haven’t done any of that, and the only person you hang out with regularly is Hinata, and he’s not too keen on partying either.

“Maybe we should.” Hinata says, a bit obviously.

You roll your eyes. “Yeah, okay Hinata. Let me know when you find someone, and then come back and set me up too.”

He nudges you playfully. “No, I mean maybe we should. You and I. Kiss.”

Feeling like you’re dreaming, you pinch yourself a bit, then turn to him with wide eyes when you don’t wake up. “You want to…kiss each other? Why?”

“Practice.” The tone in his voice indicates that it should’ve been obvious to you, but you’re still not convinced you haven’t been asleep or in a coma.

But on the other hand, he’s right. And practice is good, because it’s be embarrassing if you didn’t know how to kiss. No other reason.

You set your textbook down and turn your body towards Hinata. “Okay. You’re right. Lay one on me.”

“Me? Why don’t you do it?”

“It was your idea.”

“But I don’t know how!”

“Neither do I!”

It takes about ten minutes of bickering and researching on the internet for the two of you to figure out what to do. It makes you feel a little silly, looking up how to kiss, but Hinata is looking at you with a fierce determination in his eyes that only rivals the look he puts on when he’s playing volleyball.

“Okay, are you ready?”

He doesn’t really give a response, as it were, he just…kisses you. He’s not bad, if you were being honest, not that you have anything to compare it to.

The two of you kiss for what feels like ages and when you pull away, Hinata’s face is flushed.

“I think we need to do it again.” He tells you. And you agree.

It becomes a thing. The kissing. Every time Hinata is over, he always wants to kiss. And you don’t argue! You like it, you do. But it’s also been stirring up feelings in your chest.

You know you like Hinata, you’ve always liked Hinata. You’re of the opinion that someone would have to be an idiot to not like him. But the fact remains that you don’t know how much longer you can take all of the kissing without shaking him so hard his brain falls out of his ears.

Like now. You’re kissing and his hands are sitting very politely on your waist, occasionally twitching and causing you to laugh because it tickles. Your hands are on his cheeks. The swelling in your chest is almost painful.

You pull away from the kiss abruptly and Hinata frowns. “What’s wrong?”

“I understand for the first time. Maybe the second and third, too. But it’s been weeks since then, and we kiss almost every day.”

“I thought that’s what people who date do.” He tells you, a bit confused.

“What do you mean by that, Hinata?” You feel a bit dizzy.

“Aren’t we?”

“No! I don’t think so?”

You think back to every interaction you’ve had over the past few weeks, and more and more the pieces start clicking.

“Oh my god.”

Hinata hands you some water.

You take it, still a bit thrown. You’ve been dating him for ages.

“Can we kiss now?”

He’s lucky you don’t throw him out the window.

Skyscraper Softie: Genesis

About to make a masterlist just for this from the rate of ideas I'm getting here. Here it is folks! The Skully side path for Skyscraper Softie. Yeah path because our little Yoju is a possibility on the main and Never Again routes. I'll be marking certain headcanons with M(Main) or NA(Never Again.)

There's a wee drawback to creating small lizard like clones instead of a humanoid Kaiju Avatar. Every one has an unplanned alternate function should they fail to reintegrate into his body in time: reproduction. Yup, you read that right.

If a clone doesn't return after 10 hours then it can become an infant Kaiju. There are three signs of a potential 'rebirth' process in progress. Eating twice their body weight, drop in sentience, and the urge to touch or consume blood from a human adult.

Once a clone eats enough but also gain a sufficient DNA sample then it will undergo an immediate metamorphosis upon being left unattended. The entity will grow to 1'9 and change to resemble an infant version of Kafka's kaiju form. Any prior information from its previous life is immediately lost as the newborn Yoju takes its first breath.

It takes around 20 years for the reborn clone to fully mature into a kaiju with the average size being between 65-79 ft. (Skully in any other AU would be 12'2 once fully grown.) There are slight differences in each newborn depending on the DNA taken from their human target. Skully can be born in both routes but the method of conception will differ.

(M) Soshiro manages to capture an Alpha type clone during a daily walk. He didn't expect to find one at all and believed one of No.8's avatars could provide vital information on the Kaiju himself. Okonogi will soon run into his office in a panic. Keeping clones in captivity is banned upon Soshiro seeing the newborn Skully.

(NA) 3 lizard clones(1 Alpha, 2 Betas) were taken for an unauthorized experiment by some of the Science Department. The next day they're confiscated thanks to Mina, Hoshina and Okonogi. All three officers were unaware that the clones had snatched their DNA at this very moment. Skully alongside two other newborn Yoju would be found not too long after. (Calling one Azur(Mina) and the other Hinata(Okonogi.)

Kafka immediately senses the creation of a whelp. He's absolutely confused about the strange connection tugging his core at first. That is until Hoshina comes over with Skully in his hands. (Kafka pretty much faints in NA version as that's three infants with his friends right there.)

Any whelps born are raised by both the Defense Force and Kafka. The former wanting to study kaiju maternal behavior while the latter wants to make sure his offspring grow up safe. Both sides definitely surprised each other(especially in the main route.)

(M) Hoshina didn't expect No.8 to nudge Skully back to him after the first day together. A kaiju entrusting their offspring's wellfare to someone who kills their kind is already sounds insane. Yet he's taking back Skully and plan to bring the whelp back to No.8 on a different day.

(NA) Azur's fortitude is a 3.0 and Hinata's is a 2.4. When in combat mode, the former raises to 7.3 while gaining the ability to shoot powerful air bullets alongside limited aerokinesis for 4 minutes. The latter provides a restorative aura and boosts one's mental/physical state for 5 minutes once in combat mode.

Azur is a shy yet kind soul that loves music so expect him to 'sing' along should a tune play. The mellow Hinata prefers to nap and gets quite fussy should someone interrupt unless it's either important or they have a puzzle for her.

(M) Kafka is more active with Skully around during 'kaiju hours'. Often sunbathing, grooming or encouraging his little whelp to hunt on little excursions. Soshiro handles discipline and education when he cares for Skully.

Kafka goes berserk on the wyvern kaiju during the 3rd Division invasion(also No.10 after he turns gigantic). His kaiju side enraged by the invaders endangering the welfare of his offspring. Officers avoid attacking him as it's clear who No.8's real targets are despite how terrifying the enraged giant is.

Expect antics between the any whelps and the Rookies. These infants are opportunistic koalas who will be happy for a free piggyback ride. Rookies don't have the maturity to ignore a cute face despite the massive parent nearby or reprimands by the captains.

wolf hybrid! Iwaizumi likes to do things his way. he’s v domineering and pushy and can become a tad bit overbearing because he’s just so protective of his master.

“He’s not as good as his brother.”

“He seems lazier than Atsumu.”

“Why is he always eating?”

Osamu heard it all. Every. Single. Day. He was so tired of it but, with a twin as famed as Atsumu, the best high school setter, and he himself only being a good striker that his twin brings the best out of, it was inevitable that he would always be seen as the lesser sibling.

With one exception. You. Osamu had had a crush on you for ages, because you seemed to be the only person who didn’t see him as the extra part of a set. He’d first encountered you in his food tech class, and the two of you had been assigned to sit next to each other. You'd bonded very quickly.

"It needs more salt..."

"Is it supposed to look like that?"

"Wait- was that plain flour and not self-raising?"

"If we cover it with sprinkles, nobody will know!"

These were the conversations that he got to have with you every week and he loved them. He looked forward to the lessons you shared with unbearable excitement - where he'd be able to talk to you about something you both appreciate, and to have fun outside of volleyball, where he relied on Atsumu for success!

But then one week, he noticed you were quieter than usual... More hesitant. He remembered how he’d had a match the previous day and how he'd spotted you in the stands and his first thought was that of course you'd seen his brother in action and decided that he was the better twin and that there was no need to waste your time with him anymore.

Sadly, he got up to fetch some more ingredients and, as he returned, he caught the tail end of a whispered conversation between you and your friend on the neighbouring table.

"You're being weird, he's gonna think you hate him if you refuse to talk to him!"

"I just... He's been a wonderful friend and then I thought I might have feelings for him but I wasn't sure and then yesterday I got to see him play and it was amazing! I couldn't take my eyes off him! But now I know that I'm in too deep to back out and I don't know what to say!"

You groaned and flopped dramatically only your friend's worktop, ignorant of the boy behind you whose cheeks were heating at an alarming rate.

He coughed as a grin spread across his face.

"How about Ah ask ya te lunch first and we go from there?" He grinned setting the ingredients down onto the table. "And don't go quiet, Ah've always loved talkin' te ya!"

Hinata:

Hinata was late. Again. He’d been doing passing practice in the courtyard over lunch and had got caught up in what he was doing. And he hadn’t noticed the bell had rung for the first lesson of the afternoon. 

So here he was, sprinting through the school corridors at maximum speed, bag flying behind him and a few stray papers clutched in his hands. He slid around a corner and almost skidded into an opening door, the shouts of teachers echoing behind him as he rocketed through the building. 

As it was, his laces were loose, and he tripped as he sped past an empty classroom before crashing to the floor. He lay there for a minute and groaned, then standing up in order to tie his laces back together and gather up his scattered stationery, notebooks and paper. As he shuffled some worksheets together, he couldn’t help but notice your voice in the nearby classroom, and his ears perked up as he listened. 

He’d had a crush on you for so long it was hilarious! Since you’d both come to the school and met in the class you shared, you’d got on like a house on fire, always able to talk and share ideas. He’d fallen hard and fast, and he was whipped for you.

“Who do you like, then?” Came one voice from the classroom, your friend by the sound of it.

His favourite sound, your voice, replied, “Hinata, of course!”

Of course? Him? You liked him too? The fiery-haired boy leapt to his feet with excitement, but continued to listen as he collected his things.

“Hinata? That short, ginger boy from your Literature class?”

“Yes! He’s the best, honestly, he’s so enthusiastic all of the time and cheerful! Spending time with him feels like sunbathing on a warm day! And he’s so kind, and passionate, he really cares about his friends and his sport and always wants to improve! I really admire him!”

Hinata grinned wider than ever and let out a silent cheer, pumping his fist in the air as his eyes sparkled with glee. As he shot off back down the corridors, unwilling to be any later than he definitely was now, he planned to ask you out the next time he saw you, probably with a crushing hug as well!

Sakusa:

The bell at the door tinkled as Sakusa walked into the sports supplies shop, list in hand. He needed... new kneepads and... Komori wanted some tape. He didn’t like buying things online, and had to inspect everything personally, it wouldn’t do for him or his cousin to gain an injury due to low quality supplies. Perusing the aisles of the shop, he soon found the aisle he was looking for, and took his time picking up and examining every one, feeling for the quality and the texture because there’s no point if it’s uncomfortable.

He spotted a set of kneepads that he was drawn to... they reminded him of you. They were plain black and minimalist, but there were two coloured stripes, and they were exactly your favourite colour. You’d mentioned it to him once when he’d asked in one of your classes why all of your notebooks were the same colour, since it seemed like it would be harder to differentiate between them if they weren’t instantly recognisable. He’d logged that information immediately, so he could use it in the future. You see, he’d found himself slowly being drawn to you, to your personality and your interests. He liked to hear you talk, and liked to work with you, to tell you about what he’d been working on or doing. You’d talk about your hobbies and his matches and both of your struggles in different subjects.

A fond smile came to his face at the thought of you, and he decidedly grabbed that pair of kneepads to take to the till. After 5 minutes examining tape for Komori, and taking a small selection so it would last him a while, he approached to the till with his purchases in his hands, only to almost drop them in surprise as you waved at him from behind the counter.

“Hi, Sakusa-san!” You smiled at him, and he quietly placed the objects in his arms onto the counter for you to scan.

“I didn’t know you worked here.”

“Yeah, I only got the job recently!” You said as you scanned the tape. “Oh! These kneepads are my favourite colour! Nice taste!” Smiling, you placed everything into a bag and handed it to him with another wave.

“It’s been nice seeing you!”

He nodded and walked away towards the door, only faintly catching the words of your colleague on the other till.

“Do you know him?”

He could hear the smile in your voice, “Yeah! We’re in the same class for maths, and I go to all of his volleyball matches...” You trailed of slightly, your next phrase being rather quieter, “I actually... really like him... I’ve liked him for a while.”

There was a slight grin spreading across his face as he left, the heat in his ears giving away his feelings, as he plotted to ask you on a date as soon as he got you an appropriate gift... It would be your favourite colour, of course.

Soft headcanons at 1:30am, lets go

- Tsukishima Current/Post-Timeskip Concern is: "He wants to improve his serve accuracy a little more." He probably trains Floater Serves in homage to his best friend

- Post-Timeskip!Kenma likes to play relaxing games, like ACNH and Stardew Valley for example, with his closest friends without being in a stream

- Just 'cause I'm in an Osayama mood yet: Sometimes Osamu likes to trace Yamaguchi's freckles when they are really close, sometimes he do it without noticing it

- While in Brazil, Hinata and, surprisingly, Tsukishima liked to enjoy the sun, by getting a sunbath or just napping

- Sakusa has a special mask, that was given by Komori when he first started to use masks. Despite saying he didn't like it, he actually loved it but didn't want to use it because he was afraid it could get too dirty

- Kageyama always wanted a pet but couldn't get one because he thought that animals were scared of him (His pre-timeskip concern)

- Being the three characters with the smallest appetite which means they eat less than normal, Tsukishima/Tendou/Kenma normally are asked if they are hungry or something, always having a teammate offering some kind of snack

- Satori likes to compliment Goshiki's hair because he was bullied 'cause of his hair when he was younger, so he is trying to avoid the problem

at first you kind of felt left out since they all knew each other from date tech but you soon warmed up to futakuchi since you had a few classes with him and mai because well-- you guys shared a room

but futakuchi was quick to ensure you that was just his way of communicating and that he was actually really engaged in the conversation

mai was always out studying for her practicals in the library while futakuchi… well.. who even knows what the heck that man is up to..

but ANYWAYS!! you guys would hang out mostly in the living room to watch TV, do homework and eat meals-- he always helped you with your math homework and you helped him with his architecture models!! 

you didn’t really know what he liked to watch but he didn’t seem to oppose whatever you had on-- however, you Did notice that whenever you put on volleyball he stared very intensely at the TV only stopping when commercials came on

aone Always ate your home cooked meals without fail

literally such a sweet and appreciative boy as opposed to futakuchi who would complain but one time aone gave him That Look™️ and he shut right the fuck up

that day forward futakuchi ate all your meals like a good boy

aone has also become very protective of you-- in high school, he may have locked onto the aces of the other teams, but in college he locked onto his close friends to make sure they were safe

one time you guys got onto a cramped bus to go grocery shopping and all it took was this creepo man to just Look at you the wrong way for aone to stand right in front of you and shoot this man a death glare that said “if you even think about touching her i’ll put you into the ground”

one fateful day you were sitting in the living room as you saw aone come home with a whole bag of groceries

you weren’t one to just bust in there to try and find out so later when you guys were eating dinner you asked him what he bought at the store

he listed off a bunch of produce and then said that they were for his turtle!!!!

him and futakuchi rescued the turtle but when they tried to let them go, they didn’t go anywhere so they kept them!! 

so after dinner you both quickly washed the dishes, and he brought you into their room to show you his turtle

you were honestly a bit nervous going into their room-- like what were you to expect??? was it going to be messy?? stinky?? clean??? were there any secrets????

but to your surprise it was fairly clean and simple-- even futakuchi’s side (which you assumed was aone’s doing)

you looked around his room to find all these old pictures of date tech on the wall, many of them with futakuchi and mai

there was even a photo of all the third years clinging to aone like koalas on a tree and though his expression was faint, you could tell that he was happy

it warmed your heart to see that he got along with his teammates and held these memories close to him-- they accepted him for who he was and that was more than enough for you

he also had plethora of architecture books on his shelves which made you wonder why he picked that major in the first place

but you shrugged it off as you looked over to his desk

there was a table next to it with an enclosure and a cute little turtle sunbathing underneath a lamp inside

you scurried over to the tank, getting down on your knees to get eye level with the animal while you slowly brought your face to the glass  

the turtle was half curled into its shell, looking up at you as he gave you a slow blink

you could’ve sworn you felt your heart explode and melt all at once in that Exact moment

you looked up at aone with 🥺 eyes before looking back to reptile to see them poking their head out to fully greet you

you two sat in a comfortable silence as you watched the little reptile enjoy his dinner 

as ichigo drew closer to the leafy bit, you wanted to ask aone if he was allowed to eat that part 

so you turned your head to the side to speak but immediately closed your mouth as aone’s face was only centimeters away from yours 

you thought you were red back then???? bitch buckle up cause we’re reaching a new LEVEL of red

at that moment you were no think, no thought, head EMPTY as you just stared at his profile

and just as you relaxed into this position

Sweaty Shoyo Week Day 2: Sunbathing

So at first I just wanted to post this because Pollun and Lulun look funny lying out in the snow like that, but there’s actually a pun here that only works in Japanese. Basking in the sunlight or sunbathing is 日向ぼっこ (hinatabokko) in Japanese. Pollun was distraught over not being able to see his Hou-ou friend anymore. As the Hou-ou is able to radiate heat and was named “Hinata” by Hikari, he is sunbathing to feel Hinata’s warmth again and because the act of hinatabokko has her name in it.

☕ Tea Party Tuesdays ☕

All this talk of Lion and him being canon makes me feel like he needs a fic. 🤔

So I wrote one! 😇

Includes Lion's perspective, a trashed Uzumaki household, a flirty (and comforting ❤) Naruto, Sir Older Brother Kawaki, a jealous Boruto, and Madame Himawari, the hostess of the tea party!

Tuesdays were his favorite day of the week. Paws down.

Mondays were usually the busiest days of the week as Naruto, Kawaki, Boruto, and Himawari had to return back to work, missions, and school. He and Hinata were left with all the chores of the day and were easily tired out by the time the rest of the family made it back home. Helping Hinata was much easier now that he was officially 1 year. Especially since someone would randomly leave his toys around the house. He was still trying to solve that mystery.

And while Wednesdays and Thursdays were still super fun with family gardening time ™ and runs around the backyard, Tuesdays still had them beat. Not even the movie and cuddle filled Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays came close! (Though he loved them just as much. Especially with Naruto glaring at him from Hinata's other side as he knowingly stole the blond's cuddles. The man was too fun to mess with sometimes.)

He watched in his seat, specifically reserved for Tuesdays, as Himawari ran to the table and back with stuffed animals and accessories for each. The girl was already dressed in proper tea party fashion with a crown on her head, a pair of fairy wings on her back, and long tea gloves on each of her hands. Very high level fashion.

She had everything (and everyone) ready and had already placed his bowls on the placemat in front of him after their last disaster last week where he had been given tea cups and plates instead. (Luckily no one was the wiser and he was still invited to Hima's famous tea parties.)

When he was still about 5 months old, the Uzumaki children had invited him to his first tea party. He hadn't known what they were called due to all the sneaking around he and the kids had to do. And at first, Kawaki wasn't too sure about hiding him from their parents but one group of puppy dog eyes later, he was sitting at his first tea party!

He had been placed between the kids as they sat on the floor in a triangle as they decided on what to call him. It wasn't until the youngest sibling had yelled out "Lion!" that their decision was made . (It was the only name that had received a tail wag.) She and Boruto had argued about his new name for a while until Kawaki had ended it by saying he agreed. And with 2 against 1, the Naruto lookalike gave in.

When he had become an official part of the family, he had received a collar with "Lion Uzumaki" printed on it and everything!

He straightened his back and licked his lips as the blue haired girl made her way to sit at the table with a tray of cookies she had made in her Easy Bake Oven. Only gentlepups got cookies so he had to have the best behavior. (Not to brag but that was something he had learned at his 4th tea party so he was kind of an expert at these things.)

He licked his lips once more after Himawari had booped his nose as she placed the cookies on the opposite side of the table. "You can't eat them all, Sir Lion. We have to save some for Kawaki. Um, I mean Sir Kawaki." she lightly scolded as she placed a crown on his head.

She received a whine as she poured the rest of her guest their "tea". After a couple more whines, Himawari had of course relented. Curse those puppy dog eyes! "Ok! Only one. We have to save some for our other guests!"

He let out a happy "woof!" as the girl placed a cookie into his bowl.

Oh yeah. He loved Tea Party Tuesdays.

Meanwhile in the Uzumaki family living room...

"Are you sure you haven't found him yet?" Naruto asked his wife. He had just finished looking for the golden retriever in their shared bedroom and hadn't seen hair or hide of their beloved pet.

Lion had been missing for about 15 minutes and the Uzumakis were getting worried. They had already turned the living room, kitchen, and the bathrooms upside down in hopes of finding him. Maybe he thought they were playing hide and seek?

They were trying their very best in hiding this fact from Himawari, who was fortunately busy with Tea Party Tuesdays. Kawaki was currently at the store so they were down a pair of eyes. Hopefully though, the three could find him before the older teen came back.

Hinata shook her head as she closed the laundry room door behind her. "I know he likes to take naps in the laundry bin but he wasn't there." she sighed heavily. What if they never found him? What were they gonna tell Himawari and Kawaki?

Naruto's blue eyes softened as he made his way over to his wife. He grabbed and squeezed her in reassurance. "We'll find him. I promise."

Even if he acted like he didn't, Naruto cared about Lion just as much as the rest of his family did. And if he had to, he and millions of Shadow Clones would search for their dog all night.

Hinata looked up and smiled as she squeezed Naruto's hands back. She nodded in determination. If Naruto gave his word, then they will for sure find Lion.

And if they didn't, she was sure that Naruto would send tons of Shadow Clones into the night until they did.

The blond pulled her in closer and rubbed his nose against hers. "Has Bolt found him yet?"

Hinata smiled in amusement as Naruto continued to rub their noses together. "I'm not sure." she giggled slightly . "Maybe we should continue our search?" Hinata teased but asked seriously since Naruto showed no signs of stopping to try to cheer her up.

Her husband pouted slightly before he let go. Lavender eyes looked at him pointedly as if telling him "now's not the time". He only raised his hands in surrender and shrugged. "I got distracted."

He was glad that his flirtations brought Hinata back to her smiling, happy self but he wasn't too sure if they would have the same effect on Himawari and Kawaki if Lion was nowhere to be found.

Hinata rolled her eyes at him lovingly but before she could properly convince him to resume their search Boruto came in through the back door.

"Hi guys."

Naruto and Hinata shared a look before they glanced back at their second eldest. "Bolt, why are you covered in dirt?" Naruto questioned slowly as Hinata blinked in confusion.

His clothes and hair were smudged in soil and he even had some little pieces of mulch in his hair. Boruto was tasked to look out in the yard to see if Lion was sunbathing or had (possibly) escaped through a hole in the fence, not fight any Earth jutsu users.

The miniature blond sighed. "A bag of dirt fell on me in the shed. I grabbed at it thinking it was Lion. It wasn't Lion." he shook his head in embarrassment as a light blush stained his whiskered cheek. "Did you guys find him?"

The silence he was met with was telling enough.

Boruto pulled at his hair in frustration. "What are we gonna do now? What are gonna tell Hima and Waki? But most importantly, who's gonna tell Hima and Waki?" the dirt covered boy yelled in despair.

Boruto was close to tears. Not only was Lion missing, but they had to share the news with his siblings, who would heartbroken as well.

As the adults made moves to try to comfort their clearly distressed son, they heard the front door open and turned in it's direction slowly.

"Tell Hima and Waki what?" Kawaki stood in the doorway with grocery bags in each of his hands and a look of bewilderment on his face. His eyes glanced at the mess the three had left behind and then widened at the sight of his brother. "What happened to the house? And what happened to Bolt?"

Kawaki placed the grocery bags he had been holding the entire time on the kitchen counter and turned to his embarrassed family members. He laughed in amusement before he spoke. "You guys think Lion is missing?"

Naruto, Hinata, and Boruto looked at Kawaki like he was crazy. They had just finished explaining that when Boruto went looking for him to take the pup on a walk, he was nowhere in sight and now he was laughing instead of offering to help look?

Suddenly, out of nowhere, the teen pulled out a fake mustache out of his pocket, placed it on his face, grabbed one of the bags he had placed on the kitchen counter before he motioned for the extremely confused three to follow him.

Kawaki walked to Himawari's closed bedroom door and politely three times. "Madame Himawari, may I, and three other guests, please come in?"

Hearing poorly hidden giggles behind the door, everyone smiled unconsciously at their sunflower child's happiness.

Himawari took a second to clear her throat before she spoke in a fancy tone. "Yes, you may, Sir Kawaki." There was a slight pause before she added, "And guests."

Sir Kawaki, who was now in his tea party attendee mode, glanced back with a smirk before he opened the door.

With confused looks on their faces, Naruto, Hinata, and Boruto leaned on close to see...

"Sorry I was late, Madame Himawari. I was buying a gift." Kawaki said as he entered the bluenette's room and gave her the bag.

"Oooo! Cinnamon rolls! Perfect. Shukaku and Lion have been eating them all." she looked up from the pastries and shook her head at the dog seated across from her.

... Lion. They leaned in and saw Lion.

Standing there in his seat, specifically reserved for Tuesdays, Lion looked up happily from the tray of half eaten cookies and yipped in greeting to the rest of his family.

Himawari cupped a hand towards her new guests and whispered into it, "I think Lion's framing Shukaku."

Kawaki pat Lion in between the ears as he sat down in his own seat, which Himawari had left clear of any stuffed animals waiting for his arrival.

As the two kids continued on with the tea party, Naruto, who still stood in the doorway with Hinata and Boruto, got rid of his shock quickly.

Nudging Hinata with his elbow slightly, he said, "I told you we'd find him."

She let out a breathy laugh, all her worry washing away. "You did." She turned to him in curiosity. "Since when has Lion been apart of Tea Party Tuesdays?"

He tilted his head back at her. "I think the real question is when did Kawaki start wearing a fake mustache on Tea Party Tuesdays?"

Her eyes widened in realization. "I don't know."

Naruto nudged her again. "He looks good, though." his blue eyes shined down at his wife in mischief.

A loud cute snort was his reward. "Come on, we have to clean up the house before dinner." She used both her arms to force him to turn.

The blond nodded and headed toward the living room before he faced his wife with a smirk. "What do you say, Hime? Should I grow a mustache?"

Hinata lightly shoved him forward. "Don't start."

As Naruto and Hinata made their to fix up the house (bantering back and forth about Naruto and his wish for a mustache), Boruto fumed in his sister's doorway.

Obviously as her favorite brother, he should be the one wearing the fake stache!

"Hima! Why have you never invited me to Tea Party Tuesdays?" he pouted uncontrollably.

Himawari and Kawaki turned to their upset brother. Lion, who had resumed to eating the cookies, looked up as well.

The hostess of the tea party shrugged. "You never asked." She wrinkled her nose after noticing how filthy he was for the first time. "What happened to you?"

Kawaki snorted behind one of his fist. "Long story, sis."

Boruto blushed in embarrassment. "Did Kawaki ask?"

The boy in question straightened his fake mustache and smirked. "Since I'm her favorite brother, I didn't have to ask."

Blue eyes narrowed. Two could play that game.

Boruto walked calmly as he could to the table and sat down on his knees on the floor. "Pass the tea, please, Madame Himawari."

The girl squealed in delight and got up to find more tea cups and hopefully another chair.

While the two boys started another one of their 'Himawari loves me the most' arguments while the girl searched for more pieces in her tea set, Lion curled up into a ball, belly full of cookies, to take a nap.

And with the Uzumaki children's noises of laughter as background music, Lion fell asleep happily.

And with that, the surprise is finished!! 😆😆😆 I know the end wasn't that Lion based but we needed an end to Tea Party Tuesdays! 😝 Which are (clearly) famous in the Uzumaki household. From now on, Bolt is invited to all of Hima's TPTs so all's well that ends well!

And I'm not sure if Naruto would look good in a mustache or not but that was to go along with Kawaki and his fake stache. 😂🙈

Hopefully no one is too OOC?? 😅 I was especially nervous writing Kawaki but I wanted to include him in the fun!
