one of the funniest bits of this episode though was the bad kids pulling up to the diner because they “wanted something hot” and proceeding to order mostly cottage cheese and ice cream

making a bunch of friendship bracelets (which cover their entire arms)

their friendship bracelets leave tan lines that are just another sign of their friendship

wanting to go camping together but struggling to build the tent

sitting at the bonfire at night

telling each other their biggest secrets during long nights under the summer moon

sleeping under the open sky

remembering past summers they've already spent together

thinking up dares for each other when they get bored

so much time together inevitably leads to a big fight

making promises to always stay (best) friends

making up scenarios for the future

knowing the other a lot better after the summer together

buying matching accessories/souvenirs

making a lot of pictures to remember the special time together

being more alike after spending the summer together

going on a spontaneous road trip

having their parents' house for themselves and living the life they've always wanted together with their friend

planning a trip together for the winter

the only downside to naddpod being in a not-video format is having watched d20 and seeing how often murph completely silently breaks down over emily's hijinks but in a podcast that's registered as no reaction at all

It will never not be super ridiculous that Buffy had to single-handedly protect the world from demons, raise her teenage sister, manage a household, and work a full time job, all at the age of 22 and everyone around her is like “god Buffy just grow up and deal with it, stop acting like it’s hard.”

it's 6am and your newborn twins have been up crying all night and you just came outside to find your third son back from summer camp with an immortal puppy as big as he is. good luck
