OKAY OKAY SO, i would say that abner would definitely not be the one to ask you out first, and if he did, he would be a stuttering mess like “w-would y-you maybe think about.. going on a date?” and you’d be like oh yeah totally, with who? and then he’ll be like “with me” AND HE’D WHISPER IT REALLY SOFTLY AND YOU’D BE LIKE “OH- OH MY GOD YES” HEEHEH

and then every where you guys go for your dates, he would overthink every little thing, like did he pick the right place? did he order the right meal? do you like this kind of thing or should he have asked you where you wanna go and you’ll answer the same thing every time “anywhere is good enough as long as it’s with you” AND HE’D BE BEET RED LIKE BLUSHING CRAZY

abner would definitely be tense for the first few dates before slowly loosening up and relaxing, but even that will take a while

dating abner might be tiring at times, he constantly questions why you’re with someone like him, he’ll constantly be worried that you’ll leave him, but all in all, you’re willing to reassure him with words of affirmation

abner definitely calls you babe, or baby, or just by your name, he doesn’t strike me as a nick name type

though, if you call him any nickname like darling, sweetheart, my love, HE WILL MELT, BE IT IN YOUR ARMS OR ONTO THE FLOOR, HE’LL GET FLUSTERED AND HIDE HIS FACE IN ANY WAY AAAAAA

abner is definitely a little spoon, he feels safe and comfortable in your arms, and every time he’s having a panic attack or ptsd hits, the best way to calm him is to embrace him

he would get nightmares in the middle of the night about his mother abusing him all over again but it would be okay because you're there to hold him tight and tell him that she can't hurt him anymore

he would do the same for you if you had a nightmare or a troubling past, he wouldn't know what to say, but i'd feel like he'd memorise the things you say to him and then repeat them back to you, because he learned from the best ofc

i’d think he gets a little bit jealous, but he trusts you, but yk when insecurity hits, everything just gets a little foggy, he doesn’t want to tell you because he doesn’t want to be a nuisance but you can tell, you’d always kiss his cheek when you know he’s feeling a tad bit insecure and that brightens him up real quick

abner will protect you in any way he can, even if he knows he isn’t that physically strong to win in a fight, he’ll defend you and your honour any time

though usually it’s you who protects him by standing up to people who call him names or are rude to him, he has to calm you down and pull you away so you’d stop cussing at them

i am not including when he’s put in belle reve bc in my headcanons, he doesn’t get sent to prison for murdering his abusive and insane mother bc she definitely had it coming

My headcanon for what happens to the Birds of Prey in a universe where Flashpoint didn't happen, is that, having faked Oracle's death, Barbara proceeds to come up with a bunch of new aliases and also rearranges the birds so that she now has multiple specialized teams each made up of 1-2 people who know that Oracle's alive and masterminding everything and new recruits who don't.

Dinah gets sent undercover to round up her new52 Birds of Prey team. With Katana (aimless from the recently disbanded Outsiders presumably (sorry, I don't read a ton of Outsiders comics)) as backup, they bring in new recruits Starling and Poison Ivy in one of Barbara's more reform minded measures. Later, after the court of owls stuff, she also gets saddled with Strix.

Helena is in charge of forming a more Gotham-focused team with the Question and Manhunter to take on corruption.

Zinda is sent to pull on some of Barbara's old suicide squad contacts--specifically Vixen and Nightshade to form a team that does international espionage type things under cover of Vixen traveling for her modeling/fashion career. It might also be interesting for Barbara to pull on her ties to Batman inc to supplement their different missions.

I will be honest, I don't know what to do with Hawk and Dove.

Anyway, this goes on for a while with Barbara keep trying to do more and more and have operatives doing more and more at once. The building subplot is that everyone's worried that she's overextending herself. It all culminates after Damian's death, when Barbara blames herself for being too busy trying to everything that she missed what was going on with Leviathan and was unable to stop Damian's death. She ends up paring down and refocusing the Birds back into a small set of operatives again.

Of course, it's not long after that that Helena quits the team without giving a reason when Checkmate pulls the old strings they have on her to get her undercover in Spyral, and Barbara has to adjust once again. (Do I think that Helena would get dragged into Checkmate in a universe where she as firmly ensconced in the Birds of Prey and not a dangling thread King and Seeley could tug on? Probably not, but this is my headcanon and there's a secret good version of Helena in Sypral that lives in my head (and will doubtless be dashed against the rocks when I actually get to reading the arc)).

hey ive been loving your headcanons, do you have any interest in Joker 2 and their new rendition of madlove? also did you enjoy them in the Sucide Squad anime?

I am so, so excited for Joker: Folie à Deux! I genuinely love every single live action Joker adaption so much, but I have a soft spot for Arthur Fleck. Lady Gaga is honestly so perfect to cast as Harley Quinn, and I’m wholeheartedly convinced she’s going to nail this role! I’m really hoping they’ll have more of a genuine partners-in-crime dynamic rather than the “Harley was an angel with a heart of gold, manipulated by the Joker” arc that the majority of their media seems to be taking lately…but regardless. I’m so, so happy that this Joker gets his Harley and I can’t wait to see my favorite clowns causing mayhem on screen together! 🥺💕

As for the Suicide Squad anime: I did like them, but I also don’t think they had enough scenes together for me to have a strong opinion on them. I did really love Harley though!

Isekai Harley is a villain and she doesn't want to be anything else…but she also has such an intense loyalty and love for her friends in a way that reminds me of classic Harley. To me personally, that duality is really important to her character, and it’s something most of her modern comics lack. We get to see her gleefully blowing up a building full of innocent people because they’re nothing more than a joke to her, but also crying over friends she’s just met a few days ago lol. That’s my favorite Harley and I missed her.

but when your body starts jolting from one place to another, beyond your own will, abner’s like ok so this isn’t normal?

eventually you tell him and he’s immediately WORRIED ASF BECAUSE EXTRATERRESTRIAL PARASITES THAT BASICALLY ATTACH THEMSELF TO THEIR HOST FOR A LONG TIME??? he already has trauma from his own interdimensional virus so he’s extremely concerned for you

when you explain that it’s completely harmless and that you’re actually really good friends with your symbiote he’s definitely more relieved but still ever-so worried bc that’s our abner &lt;3

it took a lot of convincing for him to not be worried, but it took him even MORE CONVINCING to not freak out when you turn into venom and abner just looks at you with the most terrified look ever or maybe even faint

i feel as though abner would misinterpret your emotions and behaviour at times and think you’re annoyed with him when you’re actually pissed off with your symbiote who keeps saying “FIGHT. EAT CHOCOLATE. FIGHT.” so you definitely need to always tell abner that your aren’t mad at him but rather at the parasite living inside your body

abner definitely finds it a bit weird, possibly uncomfortable, that he’s technically dating your symbiote while he’s dating you, ESPECIALLY WHEN VENOM BUTTS IN AND IS LIKE “stop undressing them with your eyes” AND ABNER WILL START SWEATING AND CRYING LIKE “BUT I’M NOT??????” so yeah

he’ll definitely get bullied a lot by venom and every time he does, you have to comfort abner and just remind him that venom’s just a mean meany pants

venom would definitely remind abner of his mom, but it was alright because he had you to scold venom whenever he would say some whacked up shit

Earth 66 Headcanon Asks Time

1: the first mission Young Titans went on was the same time they first form: Saving their parents from a “mini” version of Brainiac. Kid Brainiac kidnapped the Titans in a much smaller version of the skull ship & brainwashed them. (Pretty much suicide squad: kill the justice league minus the killing) All together, with Jake being the leader (mar’i being the co-leader) defeated Kid Brainiac & save their parents.

2: Yup, mostly with Jake, mar’i, Hunter, Robert, Hector, Arthur Jr, & Cerdian since they are “super-human” like Jon himself. (Imagine the dragon ball type of fights with them 😮)

3: Jon is canonically hetero in my universe (nothing wrong with him being bi in canon or in other ppls fanon, I feel like in my opinion that bi stuff came out of nowhere & unnecessary to the character; if he was bi, being with Damian Wayne makes 100% more sense than Jay) however:

I say he found about his bisexuality during mid-middle school to early high school (puberty XD) & has a tiny crush on Damian Wayne himself. (Jondami “canon” XD)

Zachary Zatara's Parentage

I've voiced before that his existence drives me up the wall, due to him being an adaptation of the JohnZee baby from Kingdom Come (like, c'mon, just give them their kid instead of turning the kids into new characters, DC).

However, part of what drives me up the walls about him, specifically, is that we know... jackshit about him.

So Zach is the nephew of John and the cousin of Zatanna.

That's nice. Who are his parents? Tell me more about my favorite magic family, DC, I am begging you on my knees.

So ever since I made my multiverse family tree about them, I've been thinking on Zach a lot. And now I have a theory, at least on his father.

I think that his father could be Sebastian Faust.

The first thing that kicked that loose was the Elseworlds story Riddle of the Beast (2002), where Zatanna refers to an "uncle Faust".

This is the only time he is pictured in the comic, or mentioned. So no face, no real confirmation which Faust it is. The design does vaguely remind of Felix, but honestly not enough to make that a surefire guess.

This is the only time - in my research anyway - that Zatanna's family was broadened beyond her son, her parents or her cousin.

So on the greater scheme of things, I would like to make the leap that this uncle would make for Zachary's father.

And there is just something about Sebastian Faust, when I look at that man, that reminds me a lot of Zach. Which, granted, the majority of Black Haired Men in DC tend to look largely similar, but still.

Now, here's the other thing.

Zachary is a Homo Magi, like Zatanna. But the Homo Magi from whom Zatanna got her genes is her mom, not her father. So if Zach Zatara is John's nephew, from his side of the family, that would mean his other parent ought to be the Homo Magi for his genes.

And Sebastian happens to be a Homo Magi too.

I don't know, it bugs me that his parentage is never mentioned, but if he got his magic from his villain father, who had a thing with John's sister, that would explain the not-mentioning-him. It may also explain some of his attitude, to be honest. This boy has issues.

I know it's not much to uphold this theory as being anything more than that, but hey, it's enough to work as a headcanon for me.

One of my favorite fictional couples of all time. 3: brotp - Him and the other Peters in No Way Home. They had such a wonderful brotherly dynamic 4: notp - Him and Tobey Maguire's Peter. It started cropping up after No Way Home and it just... no. It's a little weird to begin with, and they act more like friends or brothers in the movie anyway 5: first headcanon that pops into my head - Knows a few Yiddish swears - Ben would swear in Yiddish instead of English when he was a kid, trying to keep him from picking it up, but he picked it up anyway 6: favorite line from this character - Not a line so much as a moment but in AS-M2 when he's about to go fight Electro and he literally webs Gwen to the car and shouts "I'm sorry! I love you!" as he's running away. It's too cute! 7: one way in which I relate to this character - I feel like the way he talks is relatable to me. I too ping-pong wildly between coming off as very witty or just being an awkward stammering mess when I'm caught off-guard 8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character - For some reason, the "we have no chimney" scene. It's funny but always gives me a little twinge of secondhand embarrassment too 9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave? - CINNAMON ROLL

It's a remnant from his military days, but the latest he can ever make himself sleep when he's not sick or injured is about 8:30 AM, and that's pushing it. Most days he's up and moving by dawn, even if he has nothing to get up for. 6: favorite line from this character - Anything from the scene on the rooftop when they're debriefing Thinker. It's just such a fun scene, such a good blend of focus and chaos. Copperhead Sibling Headcanons!

HELL TO PAY Copperhead:

Hell to Pay Copperhead is the oldest. Stern, serious, quiet, soft-spoken, but can also be a voice of reason.

Hell to Pay Copperhead is the one that works hardest, being part of the Suicide Squad and all, which tends to make him more isolated from the other Copperheads but when he finally manages to head home; his dynamic with them is like that of a caring parental figure. That'll be more evident when we get to Justice League Copperhead's Sibling Headcanons.

JUSTICE LEAGUE Copperhead:

Justice League Copperhead is in the middle. Stubborn, yet cowardly, he tries to be cool but locks away his true emotions in fear that others would find him weak.

He's the one that gets teased often by Arkham Copperhead and is the one that gets into catfights on rarer occasions. When injured, he gets tended by Hell to Pay Copperhead and tends to be scolded by Hell to Pay Copperhead every time he gets into a catfight or something else entirely. As my previous headcanons about Justice League Copperhead, he tries to be cool but is just an anxious guy who wants to be loved by everyone.

ARKHAM ORIGINS Copperhead:

Arkham Origins Copperhead is the youngest. Cocky, flirty, and doesn't give two shits about anything, she's a rough-housing teaser who loves to annoy Justice League Copperhead because she finds it amusing.

She often gets away with punishment or from being scolded, though she does get caught on some occasions.
