Let's Focus On A Toxic Ship Over A Father Who Wrecked His Family For His Selfishness

Yep, Stolitz shippers thinks it's worth it that a parent/child is wrecked in favor of said parent choosing his own selfishness. Again why should we root for them to be together if they leave a broken home. And again no matter how much the bs about Stella being abusive tries to cover for this, he still always comes to stand by Blitzo over his daughter and the series refuses to call him out and pretend he's a good dad. Seriously, I would cut him out of my life if he would do something like that. That is an inexcusable thing and again what's worse he's a hypocrite who is an abuser himself yet has the favoritism to cover it up. Again there is something wrong with cheering a father getting together with his affair at the expense of his daughter's relationship and you are mad she's not okay with it.

Note
did a quick rewatch of HB to see if I was missing any times when Stolas demonstrated any real interest in Blitzo as a person or any sign of caring about things that mattered to him and like - throughout the whole show, there's only two scenes where this happens when they're aduls. Two.
First is Ozzie's when he tries to make actual conversation during the date (though it still comes within the full moon deal, so point deduction for the self delusion going on there about Blitzo's lack of interest)
the other is The Circus before the deal is made and he actually asks about Blitzo's life, though he is over familiar with how well he actually knows Blitzo - still, it's the closest he comes to actually caring about him as a person (even as a kid he isn't that great at noticing Blitzo is bored out of his mind until Blitzo tells him).
(side note, I feel like The Circus adult flashback is the closest Stolas comes to being the best version of the "new" Stolas? like he's still not especially sympathetic due to the power difference, but he is pitiable in how thoroughly he fails to realize Blitzo doesn't really want him, which is fractionally better from how he comes across after the full moon deal)
it's gonna be pretty weird if they resolve all of their issues in the space of an episode and still can't make a case for why they should be together or give them any real chemistry
Says it all, doesn't it? You can tell the exact moment where Viv went "Scratch all that, he's a good guy now, completely beyond reproach" and still completely failed to show him caring for Blitz or realizing what it was he did wrong.
