Deadpool and Wolverine

I just saw this movie today and I had to give it its own post! It’s so good. Bloody and violent and vulgar but that’s Deadpool. He can do PG 13 but he shines in R rated fair. Heck even his Disneyland Avengers Campus variant is PG cracking a few sex innuendo jokes that only parents will get. But the real draw is Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine. When a rouge TVA agent tells Wade he wants him to join the Sacred Timeline but his universe will get pruned, Wade is desperate to save his universe and the people he loves. When he’s told his universe is dying because its version of Logan died, he steals a timepad to find a Wolverine to replace him. Only to find the so called Worst Wolverine. They both get pruned to the void and have to survive a delightfully crazy and dangerous Cassandra Nova, a variant twin sister to Charles Xavier. There are so many fight sequences that are incredibly insane. Plus Hugh Jackman is finally in the comic accurate suit. Including the mask! They save that bit for the third act but it’s so satisfying to see him wearing it. Speaking of which…

Lord that man is pretty…(whispers from the sidebar) What? What do you mean he’s single now!? Dang it…(thinks of that one scene at the end where his shirt literally explodes off) I’m doomed…

Here’s some other things I loved about this movie…

She may have won Britain’s Ugliest Dog Contest, but she’s still freaking adorable! 🥰 Wade Ryan Reynolds melting every time he sees Mary Puppins aka Dogpool was everything. Plus Logan cleverly uses her to get past a Deadpool Corp without getting hurt. That was good.

Paradox was a fun secondary villain. And a stand in for not only the meta commentary about the corporate merger of Disney and Fox, but also the certain kind of fan that discounts the so called “bad movies” (and tv shows) of the MCU and thinks they know better than the people in charge of the MCU…you know what I’m talking about. Whereas this movie is a love letter to the Fox Marvel Universe in all its forms.

The opening fight sequence to Bye Bye Bye made my millennial self giddy with glee.

Again Hugh Jackman’s performance as Wolverine. This variant lost his X Men to hateful humans and he went in berserker mode killing bad and good guys. He lost his whole world and then comes this guy that won’t shut up saying he needs help saving his whole world and he shows Logan a picture of his friends. The parallels man…plus Logan helping Wade ends up getting him a new purpose and friends. And Wade begins the movie wanting to matter and learning he does to the people he loves. And the bromance Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman share in real life is echoed on screen. Granted a little more reluctantly on Logan’s part…and Ryan and Hugh didn’t need a Honda Oddesty to build their relationship on…😉

The Cameos I won’t spoil here. But a few genuinely surprised me.

Plus they gave this Logan a happy ending! With new friends and a purpose! And he moved in with Wade and Blind Al and Mary Puppins…so what I needed to see after seeing Logan. Which was good, but a little depressing. I need happy Logan in my life. And Hugh Jackman wouldn’t hurt either…

Splitting these up into two posts again as I rambled on for way too long. And this way, I can post at least part of it sooner <3. This one is the krisnix one.

Krisnix

10. Describe their first date

They have like three "first dates" lol. The first would be the first time Kristoph invites Phoenix to join him for dinner at the Borscht after Phoenix finishes his shift there (or in-between shifts). Kristoph offers to pick up the check (he will do this on all their subsequent dates as well, and Phoenix doesn't resist in the least). Phoenix *technically* gets an employee discount when he dines at the Borscht but he never uses it with Kristoph--both because he enjoys making Kristoph spend more--and because he knows that Kristoph himself is enough of a snob that he'd hate feeling like a "cheap date" who couldn't afford to pay the proper bill.

Neither of them really expects this to turn into a regular thing. They just happen to be there (either Kristoph was working on a case in the area or purposely sought Phoenix out following the Bar Association's ruling) and be hungry at the same time. So they figure that they might as well eat together and talk through the conversation. And again, both of them are pretty surprised at how agreeable they find each other's company.

Phoenix is much more intelligent and well-read than his unpolished "every man" exterior would suggest--largely due to his time as an arts major. And Kristoph is surprised at how much they have to talk about. He may not be as cultured as Kristoph by a long shot, but he's surprisingly interesting and insightful, nevertheless. And the conversations end up being a lot more stimulating (in more ways than one) and engrossing than Kristoph ever expected.

Meanwhile even though Kristoph Gavin comes across as the coldest, most remote and pretentious person that you've ever met at first (and to be fair, there is a good bit of that in him still), Phoenix is amazed at how full-of-life-and-light Kristoph can be when you catch him on the right topic. He positively gushes about dogs and tells the funniest, warmest stories about Klavier-as-a-small-child. It's rather adorable and super unexpected. He's also surprisingly funny. His wit is much drier than Phoenix's own, and a bit more biting. But still, it's there and it's sometimes irrestitable. Plus, Kristoph is also funny in unintentional ways, given how stiff and formal and seemingly stoic he often is. So much so that Phoenix can't help but look at him and laugh--simultaneously with derision (i.e. "can you fucking believe this guy?") and with genuine affection (i.e.. "it's fucking cute how ridiculous he is without meaning to be.")

Their second "first date" would be the first time that they do something together in a place other than the Borscht Bowl. Neither of them come even close to acknowledging it as a date. This is simply an" outing that we will do together since I enjoy your company and we are sort of 'friends' now." It probably comes about rather organically. Kristoph mentions a different restaurant that he recently tried with Klavier and wonders if Phoenix has ever tried it. (Of course, he hasn't. The entrees cost more than he makes in a given night at the Borscht). Which then naturally extends to Kristoph saying that it's a pity Phoenix hasn't had a chance to go yet, and perhaps, he and Kristoph might go together some evening as friends.

Their third "first date" would be much the same as one of the ones that came before. But with a crucial difference. They are still nowhere near identifying this particular outing as a "date." But since their last "first date," their "friendship" has since extended to include physical intimacy of some kind. Maybe they've had a drunken kiss or two--or maybe they've actually done teh sex. Nevertheless, they are both acutely aware that things are DIFFERENT between them from then on, while also stubbornly refusing to admit to each other that things are different. They know this is a date. They know that they are much more than friends--even ones "with benefits"--but you will never get them to acknowledge this fact. This is just a shared social experience between two men who enjoy each other's company and lips and there is nothing more to it than that. (There is a great deal more to it than that).

Sadly, they never got to the point of a fourth "first date" (i.e. one that they openly acknowledge as a date) in canon, but they still can in my heart.

14. How do their personalities compliment each other? How do they clash?

Both Phoenix and Kristoph are artistically-minded, driven, and very intelligent (albeit in different ways.) As I mentioned in the previous point, Phoenix is somewhat more "cultured" than one would imagine and Kristoph is not *quite* as much of a humorless stick-in-the-mud than he appears. So they actually find that they have a great deal to talk about and can enjoy each other's company. Due to the circumstances that brought them together, there is inevitably a little bit of a facade to their "friendship" but not nearly as much of one as you might think.

In terms of their differences counterbalancing each other, Kristoph's cautious and reserved nature helps reign in some of Phoenix's unhinged impulsiveness. Meanwhile, Phoenix's sense of humor and spontaneity can sometimes force Kristoph to stop taking everything (especially himself) so damn seriously and to open himself up to life outside professional success.

However, it isn't all smooth sailing for them. These same differences can cause friction between them just as often as they smooth it. Moreover, the fact that both men are extremely stubborn also leads to clashes.

As a workaholic and supremely ambitious person in his own right, Kristoph also finds himself frequently frustrated by Phoenix Wright's perceived laziness and lack of ambition. They both know that Phoenix is capable of being more than dubiously sober piano bum and illegal poker player at a mediocre dive bar. So why isn't Phoenix "trying" harder to find something better for himself?

Meanwhile, Kristoph is also trying very hard not to acknowledge that Phoenix's current state is very much Kristoph's own fault. He tries to convince Phoenix to lift himself out of his sorry state, at least in part to ease Kristoph's own conscience.

Kristoph is also very unaware that much of Phoenix's perceived lazy, aimlessness is an act--one carefully tailored to lull Kristoph into a false sense of security so that Phoenix can make his move.

Naturally, the biggest barrier between them is the one that they can never directly acknowledge. Kristoph's role in orchestrating Phoenix's disbarment and Phoenix's complete awareness of this fact. On the rare occasion that the topic comes up indirectly in conversation (ex: any mention of Phoenix's former legal career, Kristoph's Bar Association duties, Trucy's life before Phoenix, media coverage of the so-called "Dark Age of Law,"etc.) things between Kristoph and Phoenix become decidedly more tense than usual. Lots of sarcastic remarks, comments that can be taken in more than one way, and little arguments over matters that would normally not have provoked such a response. Again, they can't ever discuss the real state of things openly so they have their little proxy spats and then quickly try to change the subject.

30. Your OTP gets to pick out each other’s outfits; what is each wearing?

Phoenix loves to make Kristoph dress more casually--both because it's cute but also because he thinks it's mentally/psychologically "good" for Kristoph. He will be more relaxed when he wears clothing that is softer, looser, and/or more comfortable. I think Kristoph probably has a Gavinners-branded hoodie or sweatshirt that is leftover merch from Klavier, and Phoenix is constantly trying to persuade him into wearing it--ideally with jeans instead of Kristoph's normal dress pants. He eventually gives in, partly because Phoenix Wright is unbelievably stubborn but also partially because damn it, the sweatshirt (though far too casual for professional use) is very soft and very warm--and Kristoph has always been the sort of person who gets cold easily. And there is something very relaxing and soothing about letting himself dress for warmth and physical comfort instead of trying to impress people. Also he feels much freer to cuddle with Vongole (which is also psychologically very good for him) when he's less concerned about getting dog hair on his nice work clothes.

Kristoph, conversely, likes to dress Phoenix up. Underneath that dreadful hat and sweatshirt, Phoenix Wright is a rather handsome man with nice broad-shoulders, a pleasingly strong jaw, and bright, twinkling eyes. He really should show off his handsome features and physique. And yet, he hides himself in this loose, plebian garb and two days worth of stubble. (Kristoph is in deep denial about how much he likes Phoenix's stubble. Phoenix is completely aware of the effect he has on the other man).

So Kristoph is always looking for excuses to put Phoenix in a suit or even just a button-down shirt with a tie. And sometimes, Phoenix is willing to indulge him, even if it still feels weird to put on his "trial suit" to go anywhere other than courtroom. But he does like reminding Kristoph (and himself) just how nicely he can clean up when he wants to.

(Kristoph is so lucky that he never got to see three-piece suit dilfnix and his waistcoat of sexyness. He would've died of lust on the spot, and all Phoenix would've done was laugh.)

Another "compromise" is that Kristoph is able to talk Phoenix into a bit more often is a short-sleeve polo shirt. A little more dressy than his normal hoodie but still not properly formal.

(Of course, Kristoph never quite thinks through the ramifications of this. He is Victorian level of repressed-yet-horny. And so the instant, Phoenix's bare forearms enter the chat, kristoph.exe promptly stops working.)

39. Who would rescue an injured animal and nurse it back to health? What would the other think?

Honestly, I think its fairly plausible that either would do this. But honestly, it's much more interesting to think about Kristoph being the one to do it so that's where I'm gonna focus.

This could be a possible backstory for Vongole acquisition. Kristoph's job led him to find the most Beautiful Dog in the World™ left abandoned (and possibly wounded) after her owner died or went to prison. At first, he intends to take Vongole in for a short while until he can find a new home for her. (She's a purebred and a very good girl so Kristoph isn't ready to just dump her in an animal shelter's care and hope for the best). But it's not long until he finds himself just completely enraptured by her and unable to imagine his life without her.

Phoenix, meanwhile, has enjoyed watching this unfold from a bit of a distance. He doesn't meet Vongole officially for awhile, but he notices how quickly Kristoph is completely "puppy-whipped" for her. Kristoph can't stop talking about this "foster" dog he's looking after. He talks about more even than he talks about work--which is saying something. His eyes light up behind his glasses and he can't stop smiling when he's chattering about how SMART and cultured Vongole is, because she sits and listens and wags her tail whenever Kristoph is practicing his violin. And she's so got the most refined palette too. She likes only the best dog food made from the finest ingredients.

It's adorable seeing Kristoph like this, so happy and relaxed and at peace with himself. Even with all the baggage between himself and Kristoph, Phoenix genuinely likes seeing his frenemy in this light and is happy for him.

After a few months worth of Kristoph "fostering" Vongole, he finally announces that he's decided to keep her permanently and Phoenix is all ...

(Phoenix saw this coming about a week after Vongole came into Kristoph's life).

I am also struck by another possible "Kristoph-rescues-a-wounded-animal scenario" as well and would like to discuss it. In this case, I think Kristoph should find and take care of a wounded bird (preferably a baby). I think the most narratively satisfying (i.e. metaphorically resonant) would involve Kristoph having accidentally caused the bird's injury in the first place. Maybe he accidentally hit a passing bird with his car or caused the bird to fall out of its nest and injure itself, while Kristoph was tending to his garden. Kristoph would therefore have to take accountability for having hurt something so beautiful and delicate and would see his nursing the bird back to health as an atonement for his past missteps.

Phoenix, meanwhile, would have very mixed reactions to seeing Kristoph's diligent care for this particular bird. He can't help but feel a little envious seeing Kristoph take responsibility for his harmful actions in this respect, while Kristoph has utterly failed to do the same where Phoenix is concerned. The significance of this being a bird--and Phoenix's own name being a (mythical) bird is not at all lost on him either. But on the other hand, he sees Kristoph being so patient and caring and gentle with this little wounded bird, and Phoenix can't help but love him for it. Can't help but wonder if--if only circumstances were just a little different and if he and/or Kristoph were able to swallow their pride for long enough--maybe Kristoph would have been able to do the same thing with Phoenix after all. But of course, they are doomed by themselves, their anger, and the narrative so this would never happen.

If the bird is unable to be safely released back into the wild after all--or Kristoph is simply unwilling to let the bird go-- it's also possible that the caged blue bird in Kristoph's cell is in fact this very same bird. Which adds some additional metaphorical resonance to the obvious Phoenix-bird parallels. Either Kristoph has already damaged the bird (and Phoenix) so severely and irrevocably that even his most ardent attempts at atonement/undoing the harm are not nearly enough. Or Kristoph has become so mentally and emotionally attached to the bird (and Phoenix) that he refuses to let it fly away from him--especially while Kristoph himself is wasting away in prison.

42. What’s their favorite type of weather to enjoy together? (getting snowed in together, watching thunderstorms, etc.)

Phoenix most enjoys bright, warm sunny days (especially in the summertime). This is more in general than relating to Kristoph specifically. There is so much more to do when the weather is nice--including a few particular things that he enjoys doing with Trucy and often with Kristoph as well. They've gone berry-picking a few times (on Kristoph's dime), something that neither Kristoph nor Trucy had ever done before and something that they are both pleasantly surprised by. They will go for picnics at the park and talk Kristoph into taking Vongole with them. (Trucy enjoys playing several rounds of fetch with her afterwards). Sometimes, when they have a day at the pool, Kristoph will wear a big, floppy hat to keep the sun off his face, and Phoenix can't help but find it rather endearing.

Kristoph, meanwhile, enjoys the rain. Or more specifically, a steady, lightning-less medium downpour that is heavy enough to keep everyone indoors (and prevent Phoenix from leaving too soon) and water the grass, while still being nowhere near heavy enough for there to be any danger of flooding.

He enjoys taking Vongole for walks after the rain and breathing in the fresh, clean scent of the air. He particularly enjoys it when he is able to rope Phoenix (and sometimes Trucy and/or Klavier) into joining him. Especially on the very memorable occasion that they saw a full rainbow just as the sun was starting to set.

Hi Nova! <3 Thanks for the ask! All righty, lol I love all this curiosity! Also, coincidentally (or not?) half of these happen to be about TFP Soundwave, so your instincts are spot on ;) This post got kinda long, but I know you won't mind. From the top:

"The Sound of My Spark" is an interesting case. It originally started out as a pre-canon one-shot exploring how TFP Soundwave met his Minicons. (Likely canon-divergent, since I still haven't read the Aligned novels. At the time I started writing (over a year ago), I didn't know Soundwave's canonical origin story, and just wanted to explore him being a gladiator in the Pits, alongside Megatron.)

I chose the title because I wanted to find a connection between TFP Soundwave and music (or soundwaves, if you will) that was different from his iterations in, say, Cyberverse or G1, where he literally had a music player built into him. Inspired by Optimus and 'Bee's connection in "The Song Forever Calling," I began to ponder a different scenario: What if individual sparks carried a song of their own? What if each bot's sparkbeat carried a unique musical voice, and Combiners (or Minicons + Soundwave) literally had to stay on beat with each other in order to move together? That's when the fic took off, gaining a very interesting aspect. I chose time signatures for writing Soundwave's POV, based on his emotions during each scene, and matched each word to that beat. It became poetry, in a way <3 It's quite fun to reread, lol. And at THAT point, after writing a certain number of interactions between Soundwave and Laserbeak, Ravage, Frenzy, Rumble, Megatron and more...I realized that the story I really wanted to write about Soundwave wasn't a fic at all. 💜 So, while this WIP has been technically abandoned, I would not call it irrelevant. It has become something greater. I do not know if the musical aspect will remain a key plot point in the newly transformed story, but it certainly runs in the background of the worldbuilding. Now I'm curious about your headcanon / story idea as well! Shadowzoned, my beloved. "Shadowzoned" was the first of my two major RiD-canon-divergent fics. I'm very displeased with how S3 treated Soundwave (I actually refuse to believe that's the same bot as TFP Soundwave. That's gotta be a dude from an AU), but if you discount all of S3 for Soundwave, that means S2's "Portals" was the last thing he got in-universe, and he was kicked right back into the Shadowzone. Poor guy. BUT Soundwave is incredibly intelligent; and even in a ghost dimension, even with his vow of silence intact, even after he DID successfully escape and was thrown back in...he has a plan. An ally. An ally who doesn't even know he's helping Soundwave, because Decepticons have to be crafty when seeking aid from humans. Especially when that human is one Soundwave has a history with. Rafael Esquivel. "Cortado" is a modern coffeeshop AU for the half-elf twins, Vex and Vax. :) The idea is somewhat silly, but it's a coffee AU, so it can get away with it. 😆 Basically, the twins don't know that they're twins, until Vax randomly visits a local café and nearly has a heart attack when he realizes the barista handing him his drink looks identical to him. Meanwhile, Vex is equally shocked, and immediately begins scheming how to figure out what's up with her mysterious doppelganger. In a chaotic, roundabout way, they eventually learn the truth. I haven't written this one in a while, but it's a nice, lighthearted piece to come back to when I need a break from heavier works. The "Operation Bumblebee sketch" is actually one I showed you before! It was my first actual success at capturing TFP Optimus, lol. It's called that because I was redrawing a screenshot from the episode Operation: Bumblebee. I'm glad you brought it up, this is a reminder for myself to finish it and post it soon. Seriously, it could have been done a year or so ago, but I got lost in perfectionism when it came to capturing all the details of the TFP designs 😅 Since that time, I've learned to embrace "finished; not perfect!" far more in my art endeavors, especially when it comes to TFP designs.

10. Death changes everything: Mungrove/Steddiegrove

Death changes everything; and not just for the people who mourn. 

It restarts time, relationships; past biases, and grudges. It Alters your view of the world, and what's considered important in the grand scheme of life. It all changes, and anyone who thinks it doesn’t is a fucking moron. 

Some things change for the better. Like his relationship with Max. Their bond now is the strongest it's ever been. 

Some don’t change at all. Like with his fucking father, who still hated him with the burning passion of Dante’s inferno, and had since he caught him kissing his boy best friend in 5th grade.

And some relationships change for the worst, forever. Like with Steve, who refused to even look at him since he returned to Hawkins.  

He didn't blame Steve, not anymore at least. He can understand things better now that he’s had time to process them. He’s not the same Billy Hargrove he was when they first met. He's just not. He’s not the same angry boy with powerful fists who kissed like the world was ending and fucked like a hurricane. He’s not the same man Steve fell in love with, mourned, and then attempted to process his sullen, haunted return to school 3 months later. That Billy died July 4th, 1985. 

9: Eastside: Harrigrove/Steddiegrove

For parents who swore they’d never stop loving him, ‘no matter what’ that sure seemed to stop the second they found out he might not be as straight as they all thought he once was. To be fair, he’s still adjusting to it. Steve didn’t even know he could feel like this until one Californian transplant Billy Hargrove moved to town. 

Steve thought his rage at first was fueled by simply adrenaline and jealousy; the blonde man’s need to make the right name for himself as soon as possible. Billy was already at a disadvantage starting a new school, in a new town, in the middle of the semester. Steve learned a short three weeks later that was not the whole story. 

Things changed at the Halloween party. Because after their fight and his and Nancy’s inevitable break up, the following events resulted in them both getting drunk enough to actually talk and Steve learned the blonde wasn’t nearly as intimidating as he was trying so hard to convince everyone else he was. Steve started feeling things after that night. But he initially discounted it, because he was healing from a broken heart, and it wasn’t fair to treat Billy like a rebound. Even if he did that night. 

Billy didn't mind. As soon as Steve’s tongue made it into the mouth he didn't hear another word from the man outside of his quiet moans.

8. The Eden Club: HankCon/HankConVin/HankVin

Ever since the tragic, bloody end of the Battle for Detroit, Connor began living with Hank undercover. Though the Androids ‘won’ the civil war, the public opinion regarding deviated Androids was still, very publicly, negative, so the second he could, he lost the LED and branded suits. He also lost his job at the DPD, which sucked, for a lot of reasons but mostly because he had never been programmed for anything else. Being forced to go undercover only compounded the identity crisis that came along with the addition of consciousness. He struggled significantly to understand what parts of his programming could be considered his true identity anymore. Now that he had seen behind the curtain, there was no way to untake the red pill. 

‘You weren't even built yet when that movie was made, you shouldn't be making that reference.'

Connor laughed aloud in the empty kitchen at the memory of Hank’s cranky response to his attempts at social bonding through pop culture references. But Connor couldn't help it, the more he learned about Hank's interests the more he wanted to try them himself to see if he liked them too. He genuinely found enjoyment in a fair amount of things Hank also enjoyed. Dogs, absolutely, terrible buddy-cop movies from the early 2000’s, the entirety of the Matrix Series, and the collection of new, (well new to him, hand-me-downs of Hank’s) suits that fit his slender frame almost perfectly. Connor appreciated and felt more comfortable in something that looked and felt more like his original loadout, without the bright blue identifying triangle. 

But he missed his cop days with Hank, and Hank did as well. It was probably the hardest adjustment to their new life. Especially now since his demotion meant Hank was stuck with that ‘foul-mouthed, sassy little Chicago prick!’ (Hank’s crude but also accurate description of Detective Gavin Reed.) He didn't know the full reason for the animosity between the two officers, yet. It had been an opened, unanswered tab in his synthetic brain that plagued him for months. It just, seemed to go deeper than just a workplace feud and was something that Hank may be unnecessarily carried with him every day. 

7. Silence isn't golden(sequel): Drarry, dubcon Snaco

We apperated onto the floor of our small, emphasis on small, one bedroom flat in Edinburgh after a whirling sensation stole the rest of my faculties. I had planned on taking us to the Manor, so Snape must have overridden my cast and brought us to our undercover home instead. It was logical, Voldemort had probably arrived there by now, and we would be walking right into his hands. This was supposed to be our safe house for… after. After I was supposed to murder Dumbledore. I didn't, and Severus took over. Speaking of Severus, his intimidatingly large body was on top of me making it impossible to breathe. I shoved the older man off with a huff, straightening my tie and brushing the dust off my clothes in an attempt to regain some of my dignity and composure while also freaking out about the next steps. What does this now mean for me? For mum? For Harry?

"Draco-"

My body winced, his voice was like ragged steel on my nerves. Just the sound of my name on his lips made me so furious I could vomit.

"Don't! Just don't, okay?" I had no patience for this.

Severus was on his feet now, looking far more sympathetic than I’ve ever seen the elder Slytherin. He was essentially pleading, pathetic.

"Please Draco, let me explain."

I practically choked on the irony.

"Explain what! T-Th-That you were going to kill Harry? Right in front of me? What the fuck is wrong with you?"

My feet moved faster than my brain, and I was shoving Severus back with a force I didn’t know I had in me. His back hit the drywall with a satisfying thud and I used the free moments to locate my wand.

6. Watch me cum apart: Steddiegrove

How they started the conversation regarding kinks he didn't remember. Eddie didn't care anymore frankly, because either way it led them here, to this moment, in the locker room. But why did Billy pick one of the most frequented places by the male student body to fuck his brains out? 4. Empathetic asshole: Harringrove

He woke up groggy. Which was normal after a night of smoking so much weed he forgot how empty the space he was currently occupying was. He could get lost in the intoxicating haze and forget the agonizing loneliness that came from being stuck inside a pitch-black mansion while his parents went and did whatever they wanted without him. He didn't want to get up, his muscles felt like lead, and what was the point? To walk around the day illuminated but no less empty halls of his home? That didn't sound appealing in the slightest. He supposed he should probably get up though. Dustin would be ringing his line non-stop if he wasn't on time to pick him up. 

He groaned aloud only to inwardly flinch at the hoarse, pained sound that escaped his throat. His throat was raw, and sounded like he’d been gargling glass all night. Hot coffee would probably help. Well, maybe not if it hurt this bad, but the warmth would at least help Steve feel more human, more in his body than he currently felt. 

He yanked himself up quickly.

“Ah, fuck!” he wheezed as a blinding, crippling pain in his left side had him collapsing solidly back against the mattress. The ordinary motion had completely knocked the wind out of him. It hurt so bad he couldn't even unclench his eyes to check out the source of the pain. He held his side and cried as he waited for the spasms to stop. What the hell did he do last night? Did he fall and just not remember? 

It was a solid 10 minutes before he could even think about moving again.  When he did, even at a snail's pace, the pain flared up and had him gasping between shaky breaths. 

“Yeah okay, I hear ya. Definitely cutting back on the weed,” he mumbled to the devoid space, wincing when the pain in his throat compounded. 

Okay. Step 1: Stand. Step 2: Coffee

By the third try, he was able to stand. Barely, but at least he wasn’t in the bed anymore. He was able to shuffle across the room in a handful of careful steps. Step 1 complete, on to step 2. 

He yanked open his bedroom door and took a single half step before colliding torso first into a huge, solid, mass. He fell back on his ass hard, yelping as the pain in his side was now felt throughout his entire body. Oww, oww oww. Fuck!

He shook out his head to try and figure out how he got from the door to the floor again. Oh yeah, he ran into something. His eyes flew open and his mouth dried at the visual of onyx steel-toed boots. (There were other colors splattered across the toes, but Steve didn't want to spend another moment analyzing if it was blood or mud.) Because, he may have gotten higher than the Empire State building last night, but he knew for a fact his house was empty. 

So who the fuck was this? 

3. Deja Vu: Peter 1/Peter2, previous Webb!parksborn

Peter 1 and his little high school entourage had just runoff in an attempt to round up the rest of the overflow of Spider-verse Baddies leaving just the two veteran Spidermen alone in the Wizard’s dungeon. 

Well, not completely alone, as Norman and Otto’s constant bickering through magic prison glass reminded them, but they both seemed content to sit in the shared silence for a while. Mr. Cool Youth Pastor was the first to break it.

“So. I hate to ask, but I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since that uh, ‘guy in the chair’ kid asked me.” 

“Yeah?" Parker tensed up a little.  Call it intuition, or his uniquely Peter Parker 6th sense, but he could feel the question at the man’s lips before he even said it.

“How did you lose your Harry?”

2. You know what they say about assuming: Steddiegrove, Buckingham

All he had was a suspicion.

And a hell of a lot of nerve for doing something that many would consider to be pretty fucking stupid, not to mention reckless. Reckless wasn’t even the right word. Try social suicide. Because this was Hawkins, i.e. Red White and Blue, ‘Backyard BBQ and Beers duuuuude,’ Breederville USA. He would bet the new Iron Maiden cassette he bought this morning he was the only queerdo in town. 

But Hawkins had a new kid in town, didn’t they? And well, like he said, he had a suspicion. And the deepest, subconscious, unstoppable tick to poke the bear whenever possible. (Ask literally anyone at lunch today, he insulted most of them.) All it took was the addition of one baby blue handkerchief half-tucked into the back, right pocket of his favorite ripped, dark wash skinny jeans to prove it.

To those who didn't know, it was just another random, unnecessary addition to Eddie ‘The Freak’ Munson’s ever-changing wardrobe. No reason to expect anything out of the ordinary here. But for those who did know… well, let's just say their stupefied burst of unbridled shock was his favorite part. Today’s contender was one newly transplanted, King Billy, ‘California Dream’ Hargrove whose eyes widen at least three times their normal size when Eddie turns to his back to say hi to Gareth, flashing the sign.

My UGREEN Multifunctional Card Reader USB 3.0 Review (w/ my paper dolls) - Part 2 (Final) [Feb 17th, 2023]

Hello, here's the Final Part (Part 2) of my UGREEN Multifunctional Card Reader USB 3.0 review (featuring my Paper Dolls). 😊 📂➡️🖥️/💻/📱

• So, what about an OTG? Will it work with my Card Reader combined with the OTG USB for my phone? Let's find out, as I insert my old & functional Strontium 64GB TF card & another SD card, this time for the actual counterpart (and not the adapter one) onto my Card Reader before I combined the OTG & plugged it into my Honor 8C smartphone. 📂📲

BTW: That Micro USB OTG device was came from the other item. I wish I could share, but, I'll keep that as my private. 🤫

• Nonetheless, my Card Reader works on my OTG phone! (like a charm) As you could see, it reads two memory cards on my "File Manager" app, much like on the PC. So, let's copy the videos that I've recorded moments ago by browsing my 256GB TF card & duplicate them onto my OTG Card Reader's SD Card (the blue Transcend brand). For a total of 456.49 MB size (for two recorded videos), this will take a minute & a half seconds (1 minute & 38 seconds, with 13 milliseconds to be precise). That's fast! 😁 Now, let's go back to my PC, shall we?

• Alright, time to plug my Card Reader onto my PC, once again & move my two recorded videos onto that "Video" folder in a blaze speed transfer! Even ejecting the SD cards was very quick & blinked in a second before I unplug it safely thanks to the USB 3.0 they chose for this card reader. But, what if I plug the USB 3.0? Good thing, my nylon braided extension cable was already attached! Which, by the way, is the same brand as my card reader! 😁 the result was a very outstanding speed rate by copying random videos from my Strontium 64GB TF Card! 😃📂➡️🖥️ I even try to copy all snapshot files through my external HD with both USB 3.0 plugged in, and it took me 3 minutes to complete compared to 4 minutes with USB 2.0 to 3.0's speed rate. 🙂 I would say, pretty much quite the same result depending on many sizes I want to copy using my Card Reader plugging the USB 3.0 port. ⏱️

• I enjoyed & happy to own this cool UGREEN USB Card Reader! 😊 Because transferring my memorable files are important for my computer tasks, and without this, I wouldn't transfer them onto my bigger storage to make room for my SD/Micro SD Cards or transfer it from my phone & vice versa. 📂➡️🖥️ And my paper dolls are ready to appear more moments via snapshot before I copy it 🖼️📲😊, and not eating my physical memory cards. (So again, don't ever do it! lol) 😅 And without USB 3.0 built-in on my Card Reader, I wouldn't have the blazing transfer speed performance, in case I'm in the situation (very rarely, in my opinion).

The power of privacy

I like to believe the worst is yet to come and the unknown future probably will be better. That is because of my reasoning to self doubt and care about myself more than I do others.

I used to be a person that is so simp that would take any hatred and yet become so helpful to strangers I don't even know but understand. The understanding is how I became a man, the strangers were the ones that i could never understand.

We all live in a catastrophic world of natural disasters and all we hope for in this world is peace and abundance of joy, but how ? Indulging in sins from the Holy Bible for instance never seemed harder yet everyone prays for it, a poor family struggling and maintain stomach with rent still repents just to have a position around other people in life, in the end to only become strangers again.

There is a dad joke and a mother's saying I'll share with you today, the mother's saying goes "Don't talk to strangers, strangers are dangerous." , with a simple dad jokes that rhymes with, you hurt my daughter, I'll hurt your face, because I'm chuck norris etc...

In the end the repentance and blessings we inherit are what we actually truly need and that is written in our faith by God. But why does sins looks and feel easy, yet those people still live astonishing lives? They cry more than the make up they put on, the face the show the world, is the tear drop of their image that they cover every time.

That is why there's good and evil, in mordern terms, the balance of both is essential to deal with devils that are humane and living as different types of species on mother earth.

There is an uncommon and a complete opposite side to avoid and resolve this issue, if you have to many friends you care what they think about. You thoughts become their voices, so when your world becomes theirs, their voices run and gun inside your minds as thoughts. That is why being independent is important, saying NO. Is important.  Conservative germs and energy leads to better happiness that a fuck for a night that could bring you more make up and heart ache, probably a gym membership and discount cards for shopping to..

Being private and leaving people thinking you are mysterious is a great way to end a base with your image and create a new form of identity. It's like look he is here, he is there. He was here, he went there. Now he is here, now this is present. The mysterious part is I could've crawled off the walls like Spiderman and they would've bought it.

The more mysterious you are, the more attention you let out that usually comes back around in the end. People become envious and jealous, they tend to stalk you and make sure they learn everything about you so it contributes to their self isolation and mental health focus to grow after spotting on your performance of hustle and growth 💯 If you look at it under serpent law of Judaism, the law of attraction here is completely useless for both parties because it ends up in sadness and deep thought mental isolation over jealous and envious eaves drops rather than positive straight towards conversations. If you have to meet a stranger, meet one that doesn't want to say Hi, a hint to help your gut movement ladies. The more you push around them, the more you know you win in the argument of life later on in life.  😉 But choose your peers, Manchester United is not having a good season.

Being private is awesome if you are a nobody though, if you are a drop out, if you do not have qualifications.

Being private fights every words the opposition makes in regards to knowledge and the manual of life. In between both parties, regardless how much money is on the line....

I literally just got up and marked down the poetry comp deadline on one of my whiteboards, as well as a personal deadline for my soft launch of WLMM (so I needa get working of reformatting that website ASAP).

I also made a note of target points for social media engagement and promo for the official launch as well as discount offers I'll be rolling out through January (onboarding and retention my guys - who wouldn't want a three month discount for mental wellness consulting with a free introductory session waaaaahhhhh. And tbh my fees are gonna be low af anyway so with the discount it's like... your def getting more bang for your buck yo. But I digress)

I also made a note on my other whiteboard of an upcoming medical appointment (which I almost panicked and thought I'd missed coz I remember it's this month but WHEN). Fortunately I still have time but I did pick up on a vital piece of info I hadn't noticed before so that's dope (seriously, how is an opthalmology appt being done over the phone ITS FOR MY EYES PEOPLE I been waiting years).

I know it's just listing things in coloured markers on whiteboards but (esp with adhd) visual prompts are key and mayne...

If y'all could see the energy I approached that task with. No hesitation. Genuine enthusiasm. And actually FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A DAMN LONG TIME believing ima do these things!! That it's not hurt a hope but like... yeah. Ima do that. That's me. I literally have got this in the bag.

Finally, I do know I want two magpies for my logo icon [alternate to the standard long form text name of my business] to go along with it also. And I have some kind of idea as to the positioning of the birds I want. Have not yet decided on the style. Or amount of colour. Or who tfuck is gonna do it coz my graphic designer friend is not able 😫

I have decided to omit the icon for now and stick to the text. Its clean. It's simple. It's a good launch. And it gives me time to play with iconography and really get something I like rather than settling on some rush job.

It def takes an element of pressure off.

Hennywaaaayyyy. I'm sure it's clear as day that my brain is ON.

I cannot describe the fricken HIGH of having a brain that refuses to activate when you need and will it to only to have it come on all lights flashing absolutely raring to go when it finally receives the right stimuli/trigger

I’m supposed to go back to the city, but I don’t want to also I have literally not packed anything my plan was to be on the train 1 1/2 hours ago I was totally not sleeping until half an hour ago

I don’t wanna go none of my friends are there right now and school doesn’t start up yet so it’s early enough if I go tomorrow so I’m still there a day before our party

also I’m really dreading the train ride there, plus meeting new people, because the people that lived in my hallway all moved out while I did my internship at home correction all the people I actively talked to and saw on a daily basis

So far so good, I didn’t have to go to the kindy today so that was absolutely amazing. But Aussie land is expensive, like today I bought sunscreen.. well because.. and it was reduced and I payed 15,60 aud (which was like 9.35€) like dude nearly 10€ for sunscreen while being on discount 😭
