I'm at the conspiracy theory stage of my White Collar hyperfixation.

In the Season 3 premiere (3.01 On Guard), Neal's tie is sliced during a fencing match and he's forced to put on a new one at the WC office. He puts the new tie around his neck, but then takes a file out of the rack on his desk and moves it to a different part of the rack before starting to tie his tie. Does he have a mirror or something hidden in his file rack??? Was this established or hinted at somewhere else, either in the series or in behind the scenes content? And if there isn't a mirror, then WHY DID HE DO THAT???

#today's episode of 'losing my mind about white collar' is brought to you by me trying to figure out the timeline for the warehouse explosion #I still haven't figured it out to my satisfaction #but as far as I can piece together the warehouse explodes during the day then there's a gap in time until nightfall #Neal arrives home at night/evening to find the key and go to the warehouse with the treasure #and then ends up with Peter and Jones for the lie detector test? which took place for 5 hours overnight in some other warehouse?#and then immediately afterwards he goes to meet Sara at a bookstore without changing his clothes?#and then finally goes back to his loft and talks to Mozzie #still in the same clothes #i think???#what happened in that afternoon gap after the explosion?#was it just cleanup and stuff?#what was Neal doing?#he says 'prove it' and then walks off all angry so I feel like he wouldn't have gone back to the office? but he didn't go home either?#or did he go home but Mozzie hadn't left the key yet but he didn't change his clothes and went back out again at some point?#like that seems overly convoluted #ha! overly convoluted. says the person thinking too hard about something that was probably just hand waved for plot reasons #eh whatever. I like overthinking. I'm having fun and that's what matters #also why did Peter and Jones do their interrogation so clandestinely #like I know Peter wanted it off the bureau's radar #haha radar - because 2.16 was called under the radar #anyways #why not at Neal's loft? why the warehouse?#like I acknowledge that the scene took place where and when it did for the *ambience*#however in-universe it puzzles me #but I'm also super oblivious and certainly not the sharpest tool in the shed so I might just be overlooking a really obvious solution #welp #white collar #episode 2.16 #episode 3.01

#payneland #edwin x charles #dead boy detectives #dbda #pre canon angst brought to you by the weirdo who's always drawing post canon fluff #something about oral tradition and old timey slang #i took quite a lot of decisions with this one so buckle up #first of all the female ghost keeps edwin's eyes color because there's still some truth to the legend #the background is the same shade of green to reference hell #just like it is when he's having his flashback #alive charles is dressed all in black because he's not a happy boy #i also made it so that he grips his clothes when his mate punches him even as it's intended to be friendly #because well #these people will end up killing him so it's less friendly when you remember THAT #charles obviously doesn't mean anything by the mary ann comment #he doesn't know the slang meaning and just blurted out what he remembered from the legend #he will find out reach some conclussions and go punch a wall about it probably #about edwin tho his escape is still very recent and he didn't expect this #but even so early on he knows charles means no harm and allows himself to be comforted #it wasn't intentional but hey edwin shruggin off charles' touch is a good parallel to that one scene after charles “kills” the night nurse

#reading chapter 7 updates back to back on both servers YEEHAW #essentially shield silver is just silver but with his backstory has elements from yuulis' backstory #or like. the silver owl's kingdom falls apart much much more disastrously #so silver is!! essentially the same type of creature that yuulis is hnm hnm #he's less proficient in swordplay so sebek beats his ass in sparring #but he makes up for it in magic!! hes at least twice/thrice better than his og incarnation #though he lacks self confidence bcs hes surrounded by fae like malleus n lilia who r just. innately good at magic #he has thick arm guards instead of the regular diasomnia gloves #bcs his he needs protection for his feeble human arms #( jk he's still as muscular as normal silver bcs he has to swing that big staff around )#was gonna make the shoulder pad on his right to make him mirror the knight of dawn but it bugged me too much grrrrr #his clothes r also more loose but still not restrictive #without saying much #shield silver is closer to malleus than the og!! he imitates malleus' mannerisms a lot when casting spells. like the floaty thing mal does #also indirect yuulis lore ig #shield silver always covers up ( like malleus cards ) bcs he's got a mega complex about his stitches #unlike yuulis he has no means of rlly hiding his stitches by himself #so he's under an illusion spell ( cast by malleus ) where to the regular person he looks like a regular human #also when he overblots. he becomes the phantom himself ( indirect yuulis lore part 2 )#hence why.. fucked up looking creature in the last image #tahst enough rambling from me hehe live laugh love #twst #twisted wonderland #twst silver #sebek zigvolt #twst grim #twst yuu

Turns out Wonder Woman's 1930s design is somehow closer to how the ancient Greeks depicted Amazons then most "greek-inspired" WW redesigns from the 21st c. This was inspired my me going "Hold up... why is Diana always depicted as an ancient Greek when the Amazons were specifically... NOT the ancient Greeks.

Whenever fanfiction has Dean say he hates Cas’s coat or thinks it's stupid or ugly and he wants to see Cas out of it as soon as possible I simply must disagree. He kept that thing for a whole year full of rank water. He saw Cas back in his usual getup and gotar bonar. Dean loves cartoons. He loves costumes. He loves Cas’s coat.

@williamvapespeare commissioned me to draw anything with the boys being gentle to each other and Edwin comforting Charles in general, so we went with this!

The idea of a character who is dead having to go through it once a year is very dear and near to my heart (how many dead blorbos do you have, I hear you ask. Too many) but at least these two have each other
