I like to think he changes his voice a bit with the help of Sally, who calls him Julian or Julius (so Greek sounding).

Eddie and Frank are already friends with him, so they love him already, which makes the thought of friend crushes (also called “squishes”) very possible. Like when you have a close friend and you’re hanging out as usual, but you’re suddenly confused if you like them more than just a friend or if you just really like them as a person (platonic).

as some of you might remember, i did fandom christmas cards last year - and it was so much fun i’ve decided to do it again this year!

writing christmas cards has always been one of my favourite things i do for friends & family at this time of year, and this is really just a virtual version of that! for me, christmas is a time for showing love and appreciation for the people you're grateful for - and i'm so, so grateful to everyone who makes up this wonderful little space here 🫶 it's not been an easy year for me, and i am so thankful for all the solace, fun and friendship this particular corner of the internet has brought me when i've needed it most. getting to log on here and flail with you all about am/tlsp/miles/fontaines d.c has truly been one of the highlights of my year 💖

have yet to stop thinking about the plane ride to Barcelona, aka the worlds most awkward plane ride in the world. Like who do we think sat together? Did Devon talk to any of them, like is she’s friends with any of the other teens? Did Eli and demetri drag other people into their drama, was demetri very obviously trying to avoid Eli, messing up the assumed plane seating arrangements? Was Robby brooding over his missing girlfriend and her dead mom the whole time? Were Daniel and Johnny still beefing or do we think they tried to save face for the kids? Is there any chance that Miguel and Sam were able to just have a nice time hanging out with each other on the flight or did they get dragged into everyone else’s drama? I’m so obsessed with the logistics of the Barcelona trip, not to mention the flight is like 11 hours long if it’s non-stop. it sounds like the trip from hell

Was it peaceful when she brought structure to your failing family business? Was it peaceful when she tried to run it while you ran off? Was it peaceful when she tried to elevate the offerings leading to a good review? Was it peaceful when she let you confide in her about your brother dying? Was it peaceful even after you turned into the asshole she didn’t want to work for she still came back and agreed to open a restaurant with you? Was it peaceful when you ditched her the first time, the second time, the third time, etc. and she still stayed? Was it peaceful when you worked together on your menu instead of trauma dumping a menu with your girl that’s a friend? Was it peaceful when thoughts of her calmed you down from a panic attack? Was it peaceful when she offered to make your pregnant sister a meal? Was it peaceful when she paid attention to every person in the restaurant and made sure they had what they needed to grow along side both of you? Was it peaceful when you promised her your full focus and attention? Was it peaceful when she brought you something warm to drink and tried to assure you that she was fine when you dropped the ball? Was it peaceful when she adjusted the margins to meet your needs?

Was it peaceful when you continued to push her out and away and she stayed and stayed and stayed? Will it be peaceful when she finally leaves???

I’m not saying Syd is a saint. I don’t want her to be. She has surely made mistakes of her own and has her own obstacles to overcome. But when it comes to who is his peace and who is perceived as peace it becomes clear who that truly is.

thinking about the himbos, still not having put together that colin’s “friend who helps him pick up women” who they met at sam’s restaurant is not in fact his friend who helps him pick up women, deciding that they should set colin up with someone as a way of showing their support. (“who here knows any single gay guys?” jamie polls the locker room. everyone raises their hands. sam clarifies, “besides colin.” all but a handful of people put their hands down.) they very proudly present this plan to colin, who tells them that first of all, if he’s ever desperate enough to accept a date with one of richard’s sketchy model friends they should just kill him instead, and second of all he doesn’t think his boyfriend would be very happy about this plan. i need to see this team of hopeless romantics being just as excited to realize that colin’s cool friend michael is actually his boyfriend as they were about sam’s bantr adventures or roy and keeley’s relationship

Hi, yes I use procreate! (Sorry I’m literally answering this a month late…) But here’s a link to my earlier post about this!

It’s literally my entire main brush set. Every single artwork I’ve posted on this tumblr has been dependent on this set, including my comics, and illustrations regardless of how different in style they look. I do have other brushes which are specific to creating more realistic backgrounds, but I typically just use the traditional brush and warp it for texture. 😂

If you guys want my entire asset of stamp, and texture brushes that I’ve stocked up like a hoarder, let me know! I also recently got a watercolor brush pack I really like, and I can share that too!

But other than that, the one brush I use most is my sketching brush, which I’ve just labeled “Sketch Rough”. I’m not that good at line art (people who can do line art are incredible), so this brush has been a life saver for me! I work with more of a painterly style, and I prefer not inking my sketches or tracing over them again. (Unless I want them cleaner… 😭) I tend to just draw my sketches then painting over or under it.

(It’s also slightly texturized! It’s still pretty clean to the point where you can still recognize what shapes you’ve drawn, but the texture adds a nice touch.)
