hello!!!!! this is actually the first ask i've gotten so thank you!!!!! so this au actually has a fic with it (Stop Being Steven?) ig i didnt make that very clear lols!! so anyways,, this au is a canon divergence from the scene at the beginning of everythings fine,, after stevo sees his diamond eyes he unfuses!! so basically the human half is called star and the gem is cosmo! ill give the rundown of each of them

Star: he is the human half, he holds all the memories of steven and is mentally more similar to him, he can leech energy from Cos thru physical touch like a magical pink phone charger (lol) he's more mellowed out that steven and deadpans a lot,, also he has insane sleep debt so he can be really sluggish and eepy(he's a chronic napper) he is more the driver of their unfusion--> he doesn't want to be like the other diamonds,, like his mom, so he blames his gem-ness for it and forces their unfusion// he has adhd,, he loves Connie a lot and he goes from "i hate my life, i hate everything" to "OMG CONNIE :333 !!!!"

Cosmo: HE IS THE GOOBER EVER!!! okay so back on track,, he is the gem half (inspired by aster from Change My Mind by love_lucigoosey) basically he has none of steven's memories,, but he knows like basic gem stuff like the diamonds, gem history, and the pd reveal, etc... while fused he basically was just chilling in the mindscape so he doesn't rlly know any human things,, similar to how rose behaved when she first travelled the earth,, he's very naive and less deadpan than the typical depiction of P!steven. he is also extremely autistic,, he has trouble telling how he feels. cos has an overwhelming need to protect and care for star because that's what he believes his purpose to be->so when he realized that being steven was making star unhappy,, he decided it was fine for them to stay unfused (that's my excuse for him not feeling the need for them to re-fuse) he also can behave more like classic steven sometimes and people find it uncanny (Connie gets mad nostalgic) he also has feeling for Connie but bro doesnt know that is what that feeling is so he doesn't know how to act// the only thing from outside the mindscape that he perceives are steven's abstract emotions,, and those determine how he supplies the powers (ex: steven gets stressed out, Cosmo feels his distress-> BOOM! pink powers// so they're not a conscious choice of steven,, so once he learned how to control his emotions he could just have the emotion tied to the certain power he needed, he could do it at will)

Their dynamic and stuff like that: steven in my hc has audhd soooo each steeb got one// i wanna make this clear that star and cosmo are not a romantic dynamic (i am so annoyed that i have to clarify this :/) they have a deep(PLATONIC) love and care for each other, they're like brothers!! the bros ever!!!! also star is NOT steven and he gets very upset when someone makes the comparison,, both halves completely lose their emotion filter while split so they can seem extremely emotional and dramatic but its really just them expressing stevens bottled up emotions// after their initial freakout they're really just chill bros,,

OTHER SILLY STUFF: Star has a navy blue hoodie he always wears like a security blanket,, Star prefers wired earbuds and Cosmo prefers over the ear headphones (he's not used to so much sensory input after being in relative silence for 16 years)

Steven quartz universe is autistic and here's why

I present to you a full course meal of autism evidence for all you autistic goobers who see yourself in steven (like me)

He has the need for sameness/safe foods

Literally in episode one (gem glow) the whole beginning of the episode shows steven super upset over his favorite ice cream (safe food) being discontinued (meaning it had to be super unpopular.) An allistic child wouldn't be as upset because there are hundreds of other brands of ice cream sandwiches out there, but steven liked this SPECIFIC brand. He even memorized the commercial for it. (also he likes to eat the ears first which is SO real)

also, throughout the entire series he orders the same exact thing from the fry shop, the bits, which i've noticed a lot of autistic people find it easier or just prefer to have food in smaller pieces. he orders it so much that everyone that works there knows exactly what he's gonna order every time he comes

Not having friends his age

Most of steven's friends are either literal aliens, or adults/people way older than him, and the only friends his age that he has is connie (who I think is autistic too don't even get me STARTED) and peedee (who is also probably neurodivergent.)

I can heavily relate to this, as a child I only really hung around adults and one or two other neurodivergent kids. It's much easier to hang out with people older then you when your autistic because there isn't really the same social rules compared to the kids your age, and the older people don't really mind how you act since your younger then them

Also I kinda see how the reason onion and his friends like steven is because he's autistic. If I go by my headcannon that onion and his gang are all non speaking autistic kids, then it makes sense they connect with steven. My autistic little cousin loves playing with me because I understand her, and I think it's the same way with steven and onion, he understands onion and plays with him in a way that makes him feel understood

He doesn't understand social ques

There are SO many moments where steven doesn't understand social ques, at least one moment every 2 episodes. One example is in onion gang when onion and his friends were pretending one of them died with LITERAL KETCHUP and steven didn't understand that was a joke (silly guy)

I also see this a lot when he's with lars and sadie, he doesn't really understand which moments he should include himself in like in island adventure when he was constantly coming in between lars in sadie when they had their moments

Theres so much more but im not gonna list more since this happens like every episode

He wears the same clothes everyday

steven has been rocking the same fit for YEARS. I know it makes sense because he wears his dad's merch, but it's not like if he asked for more of a variety of clothes, the gems or his dad would have said no. Also the band shirts doesn't excuse the fact he wears the same jeans and flip flops every day. Autistic people love consistently especially when it comes to clothes

Even in future he doesn't really change up his daily attire, except for the jacket. He still sticks with the t shirt, jeans, and flip flops combo and honestly he's so real for that

Special interests/hypertixations

Steven definitely has hypertixations/ special interests. I can definitely see his main one being crying breakfast friends, he literally started a whole youtube channel to record his reaction to new episodes, and has very emotional reactions to them (same)

He also definitely infodumps about it a lot, Mostly in the form of trying to get people interested in it, like when he was trying to get the gems to take a personality quiz to see what crying breakfast friends character they are and when he used crying breakfast friend stickers to mark the warp pads inactive

ettie ♀ - milo's first pokemon, met as a woobat the night milo got isekai-ed! trainerless but taken to a pokemon center for mild injuries, she managed to escape containment and stick herself to milo's cheek, and has been with them ever since. she's goofy and sweet. she's also a service pokemon, using calm mind to help milo with their anxiety.

julian ♀ - originally caught as a venipede in a subway tunnel by ingo helping the interpol survey the line milo dimension-hopped on. he gave her to them a few months later so they'd have a slightly stronger pokemon to look after them while training ettie. she's now milo's ace, and their main form of transportation in hisui.

peridot ○ - caught in a visit to celestial tower! a gaggle of elgyem started following milo, fascinated by their non-native psychic vibes. peridot was the boldest, and came with them after a friendly battle. it's incredibly curious about human objects + technology and will frequently pick things up to examine with them with the utmost care

dewdrop ♂ - fished up during milo's time in hoenn! he's a spunky creature, very personable, and the most enthusiastic battler on milo's team. has never quite gotten the hang of using healing moves.

outfits

isekai - their usual winter gear from earth, what they were wearing when they got isekai-ed. their giant thrifted ski jacket from the 90s is exceptionally warm. you can only see the straps, but they had their backpack on them as well! earthly belongings that came with them include several class notebooks, a tarot deck and journal, a box set of their favorite horror ttrpg, a deck of cards, their phone, headphones, and a phone charger. they were on their way back from visiting friends when they got eeby deebied to the pokemon world.

casual - an average outfit they end up with while in the process of settling in! they wear this and similar outfits in their everyday life, going to their galarian language lessons and to work in the quilt shop in nimbasa. the grey tank is band merch from a hard rock/metal band called Destiny Bond that elesa introduces them to. :]

events - when they're going out somewhere and want to Look Good, milo goes full 70s twink! nothing like some good fruity androgyny. they are incredibly glad historical fashion trends of the pokemon world mirror earth's.

hisui - the first few months in hisui they spend in the couple sets of plainclothes they brought with them from the future, but once they get to jubilife, milo does a LOT of trading to acquire various outfits from the clothier's! they favor women's hakama and geta sandals when in town. their original glasses from earth get lost early on in an incident with a flock of staravia, so they go a few months without until they're able to get new ones.

I just watched Steven Universe movie with the Vriska universe in mind (specifically with Springtrap as Spinel) and it was a trip

So basically William Afton came to earth in his glitchtrap form with the injector only he had a crack in his gem and was, well, glitching. When he got hit with the rejuvenator (it looked more like an axe then a psyche), he reverted to his human self from the movie. He acted normal. Too normal. Like he was faking his emotions.

His glasses were foggy so you couldn’t see his eyes but they would clear up when he got creepy. You know, symbolism. Vriska didn’t trust him. Also he was the one to volunteer to hurt whoever Sapphire is in this au and was way too into it.

When his memories started to come back, instead of crying, he started smiling all creepy. And drift away wasn’t sad. It told his backstory, how he was an average cut of gem (an amethyst if you ask me, because they’re purple) and started to shatter gems seemingly out of nowhere.

Oh and those mini cluster gems from “Keeping It Together” and “Nightmare Hospital”? Those were all him. He was eventually caught and set to be executed. The way I see it, the spring Bonnie suit was to mock him before his death. But as you know, he got spring locked and everyone thought “well he’s already dead” so they left him. But he was still alive and couldn’t move for 6,000 years.

One day a girl named Vanny found him and took him outside. He was finally free. And he thanked Vanny by trying to kill her. In self defense, she cracked his gem. The reason he came to earth was to “finish what he started.” Basically if he’s going down, he’s taking everyone down with him.

The rest of the movie goes basically the same but without trying to redeem him. You know because he’s a monster. In “True kinda of love” Springtrap’s gem kept cracking and he kept glitching until he looked like some kind of goop monster mimicking a rabbit. And “change” was a way to distract him because his crack was getting so bad that he’ll die on his own. It worked.

As his gem started to break, he started glitching hard, eventually landing on his original form before it broke forever. And yes, his last words were: "I always come back". Spoiler alert, no he doesn’t. Everyone was glad he died. Oh and Michael Afton got Spinel’s happy ending. Because he deserves it.

Like I said, it was a trip. This was fun, I might get around to drawing this soon

The way Steven Universe conflicts with itself.

I love this show and I just want to talk about one of my favorite things about it and something I will gush about constantly, because its just so good. (basically an infodump)

Lets start with the original Steven Universe series, then we'll talk about the movie and future

Watching it originally, a lot of it felt very cheesy and "cartoon"; your enemies become friends just by talking it out and communicating; Steven wins through the power of second chances, It's something a lot of people associate with kids shows. I didn't hate this when I had only seen Steven Universe, but rather I thought it made a lot of sense; it was STEVEN'S world, Steven who loved sappy and cheesy endings, Steven who really did just want to make things better by talking it out.

During the finale they really push the idea of it being a cartoon aswell, they put Steven into "princess troupes", to dehumanize him and lead up to him believing he might just be pink diamond- but at the same time it almost takes away his claim to personhood, a character in a cartoon. And then the show ends with a "whoo we saved the day".

Then we get the movie, and it opens with Happily Ever After, continuing the feeling of cartoon. This is Steven's world, everything is good and bright for the rest of eternity, that's what happens after a cartoon ends- but then its not. Immediately Steven is met with Spinel, happily ever after is gone and Steven is faced with reality.

Steven struggles with the idea that happily ever after isn't actually a thing, there will always be something to face in life. It directly clashes with the cartoon ideals of his childhood- and then those same ideals saved the day again. He remembers he can change, he talks to Spinel, and everything is good, right?

But as Steven acknowledges "there's no such thing as happily ever after", you get the feeling that not everything is okay, there's still something wrong. Spinel might get her happily ever after, but Steven doesn't. They have to work to fix what happened.

And finally, you go into future, completely battering cartoon ideals. You see Steven have to deal with childhood trauma, heal from living so much of his childhood in life or death situations, and learn that cartoon ideals don't always work in the real world.

One of the most obvious examples of this, is when he believes Lars and Sadie have to be together, and when he finds out they had spoken in private, he doesn't understand why he wasn't there. In a cartoon protagonists world- everything important happens them there- and Steven didn't understand why or how.

You see him as a child in that moment, the same child who lived in a cartoon, and yet is now older facing reality- and there are so many more examples of this. It's a wonderfully written work of art of a show and I could spend hours upon hours talking about it.

I do hope this actually made sense, but yeah, I love this show.

HOW DOES PEARL LOOK LIKE??

Ok ok.. it's basically the same besides the fact that the gems have taken plant-like aspects in order to gain energy (Basically they just need to be in the sun longer and maintain nutrients by eating and drinking). Some gems don't have to do this, though that is only if they are built for harsh conditions meaning they can live longer without nutrients, or if they are rooted into the ground.

Some gems who only work in one place root themselves for max efficiency work wise and food wise.

Onto the Pearls/Pink Diamond!

Pink Diamond: She is based off a hibiscus flower because of "A Single Pale Rose". I considered making her a rose, but I think that it's better for her to be a hibiscus.

She has had 3 Pearls without her life: 1st being an unknown pearl we have never seen, 2nd being Pink pearl/Volleyball, and 3rd being pur Pearl. *more info on them later

When Pink Diamond forms into Rose, she turns presents/tells people she is a Pink Rose (quartz variant) in order to better convince the other gems, this is our she got away with passing as a rose (quartz)!

1rst Unknown Pearl: She was given to Pink very early on, Pink had only been alive a couple hundred years. This pearl was shattered, she had been playing with Pink while they were at one of Yellow's colonies, and got shattered when debri fell directly on her gem. Sadly they had not though or known how to fix her, it was very early on in Era 1. (This is why Pink was so protective over Pink Pearl/Volleyball later on)

Pink Pearl/Volleyball: She was given to Pink around a thousand years after the original was shattered, she never learned about the shattered Pearl. She is a hibiscus like her Diamond and behaves the same as she does in the show.

Our Pearl: She is a rose because they are more associated with maturity and romance. This Pearl was designed to be more mother-like in order to protect Pink rather than encourage bad attitude. She does introduce the idea of hiding as a Rose quartz, however, she tried desperately to convince Pink to stay eith the other diamonds; she didn't want any of them to be shattered. She eventually went along, because she had fallen in love with Pink and couldn’t resist any longer.

(I added another Pearl (1rst) because Pearl's reboot song has ".3" at the end and thought it would be interesting lol)

meet BLACK DIAMOND.

The highest ranking diamond of the other 7. She is referred to as the creator by most, and other various titles similar to that of humans equivalent of God. Gems don't have that kind of term, but she is worshipped as if she was a god.

She never leaves her base and only speaks to the diamonds, never to homeworld gems. She uses White diamond (oc, not Canon character) to speak for her, to deliver her messages to the rest of gemkind.

Many gems fear black diamond, as they view her as a terrifying creator who will shatter any gem that is wrong. Of course, Black diamond doesn't know about this view of her. As this view was created by White Diamonds lies about her, using black diamonds image as a way to achieve power and rule over homeworld.

She has no court, as the diamonds act as her servants and that is it. She created all other 7 diamonds by taking organic things found from other planets and around homeworld. The only one made from a piece of her is Grey Diamond. To which she refers to as, my spawn.

Modern AU mdzs head cannons (probably part 1 of many)

1) WWX would be fluent in Spanish

2) LWJ would be really into animated shows aimed at children but more enjoyed by adults (Steven universe, adventure time, Bluey, amphibia, gravity falls, mlp, craig of the creek, studio ghibli, you get the idea), and among his tasteful antique home decor, there is also a lot of fan merch from said shows

3) A-Yuan under Wangji’s influence also grew up on those shows and greatly enjoys them

3) during library detention, wangxian eventually started taking turns infodumping on each other (WWX started doing it to annoy LWJ into leaving, but he’s a petty bitch and did it back, and it eventually became a routine they looked forward to)

4) instead of wearing a headband, LWJ just always wears noise canceling headphones he’s really protective of

5) WWX obtained A-Yuan by adopting him, not because he wanted to raise a son but because WN and WQ weren’t deemed fit and didn’t want him to go into foster care. All of them live together so it didn’t actually make much difference who had the paperwork

6) WQ is an emergency room surgeon, while WN is a vet tech (currently in college for veterinary medicine)

7) WWX has 3 million freelance jobs because he has 3milllion areas of expertise

8) LWJ spends countless hours scouring the internet for cute bunny themed children’s clothing for A-Yuan’s various stages of growth

9) the Lans own a prestigious music school- while LWJ was expected to be a professional musician well into his life, he became a children’s music teacher there instead

I love finding characters I can relate (/project onto) within media. There’s something so comforting about seeing yourself on screen. I end up headcanoning most of them to be in-line with my identities (lesbian, wasian, autistic) because they are literally me in my head!!

Anyway here’s a long ass list of my favorite characters and why I head canon them as autistic for fun!! If you have any others you’d like to add I’d love to hear them. (And please note this is just my interpretation, and highly based on my experience with autism. I’m not saying they’re definitely autistic or that all the traits I listed are the dsm-5 criteria or something.)

Princess Bubblgeum from adventure time:

This girl is peak evil scientist autistic. Her intense need for control, the way she carefully observes the citizens she created, an outsider to them, not quite like them… god it’s so perfect. I read her as being somewhat low empathy as well, it’s hard for her to change her perspective to that of others. Plus the fact her brother neddy is a pretty obvious metaphor for higher supports needs autism. I think they of represent how autism runs in the family and appears in all sorts of different ways in different people. They’re sort of two different representations of the spectrum.

Marcy wu from amphibia

I mean this one is just obvious. The biggest nerd of all time. So obsessed with her RPG special interest that she literally sucks her and her friends into a fantasy world. She’s clumsy (just like me fr), very smart but super socially awkward, a little oblivious and naive. She’s terrified of change, especially if it means abandoning the few social bonds she’s been able to make. I honestly find it hard to believe this wasn’t intentional.

Entrapta from she-ra

Another pretty overt example. I do have some issues with how she was portrayed in the show- (keeping her on a leash was weird.) but overall I really love her. She understands her tech, not people, and it can cause her to come into conflict with other characters. Their treatment of her makes me sad at times, but it’s realistic. I also love some of her other quirks, her love of tiny food, her exitable demeanor, ect.

Pearl from Steven Universe

Peridot is the more obvious example of an autistic character in SU, and while I agree she’s coded that way, I personally resonate more with Pearl. She is not very socially aware, and bothered by disruptions to her routine/ broader life changes. She doesn’t like to break rules (despite being a literal rebel lol.) I find it interesting how she seems to have the poorest understanding of life on earth out of the gems, despite having lived here for thousands of years. She is graceful, but has an almost sort of awkward gangly-ness to her that I relate to. Her neuroticism is also very similar to how my anxiety disorder presents.

Pearl has a tendency to infodump, without realizing those around her are uninterested. Even her relationship with Rose struck a chord with me. The hopeless devotion to her, the way she followed along at her side. It’s how many of my friendships have been. Obvious it’s not exactly the same considering Pearl having originally been her servant, but while not being an explicitly autistic trait, that sort of clingy, starstruck relationship is something autistic people are prone to developing. She does little hand stims at times too that I love to see.

Poison Ivy (specifically the version in the Harley Quinn animated show)

I’m surprised I haven’t seen more people mention poison Ivy. Fiercely intelligent and deeply introverted, she isolates herself from all people, and only connects with and understands her plants. (Which her deep affinity for can definitely be read as a special interest.) She very overtly has trouble forming relationships with others.

She’s blunt, socially awkward and a loner, has something of a flat effect and a monotone voice. Those around her initially read her as cold and impersonable.Her struggle with social anxiety as well as intense fear of failure/ low self esteem is also very relatable to me. She also often struggles to express/understand her feelings and emotions. Her radical political ideas and the fact that she’s literally an ecoterrorist paints her as having a very strong sense of justice and a somewhat black and white worldview. (Me)

Finally, her relationship with Harley just SCREAMS neurodivergent solidarity. Harley Quinn is (I think canonically) adhd, and they’re both outsiders in the world that found each other and just… get each other. She’s Ivy’s closest and only friend and amazing girlfriend and god it’s all so perfect.

They remind me a lot of the relationship I have with my best friend with adhd except theirs is gayer.

I think some people just don't know how to be normal about introjects. They make up arbitrary rules that really has nothing to do with the collective's recovery or even the introject themselves! It just relies on how they see introjects in general.

Let me tell you about one of our parts. She LOVES Rose Quartz from Steven Universe, she's obsessed with her and loves drawing her. She even likes being called Rose because she loves her so much and wants to be a 1:1 copy of Rose. She says that she is literally "Rose Quartz IRL" If there's a conversation about Steven Universe and Rose gets mentioned she's immediately going to come closer to front in order to infodump about how much she loves and how much she is like Rose.

Is that anti-recovery behaviour? Well here's the thing, the part I'm talking about is Amethyst who is NOT a Rose Quartz introject nor is she an introject of anything else. She just really likes Rose Quartz that's all. We do have an introject who's partially introjected from Rose Quartz but Amethyst loves Rose much more than the introject does.

And that's the issue! If you are mad about someone's interest in a character they just so happen to be introjected from - that's your problem not theirs. It's not even anti recovery behavior for them to see yourself as that character! I think genuinely if you have a problem with any of that, you need to work on yourself because you're clearly projected your insecurities on others. Leave introjects alone they're doing absolutely nothing wrong.

posting this unfinished wip of a ninjago x steven universe infection type comic i made back in around april

no idea if i'll finish it but i was scrolling through ibispaint and decided why not post

(ignore the fuckass car from page 2 lmao i have no idea how cars work anymore and to draw them is the bane of my existance)

the basic concept was that the diamonds were experimenting with a new technology to create gems; they created a species of gem that i called a gembug, but the name probably won't be official.

the gembugs were sent down through injectors and essentially what they do is they come in contact with something living, fusing with it and turning it into a gem

this happens to zane first and his gem replaces his power core. he is still titanium

for the others' gem types they are as follows:

nya is aquamarine

lloyd is malachite

pixal is moonstone

cole is a black sapphire but he also has some orange on him (the pattern is similar to the uncorrupted gems like jasper)

kai is unakite

jay is sodalite

wu is onyx

garmadon is black charoite

skylor is amber because of course

harumi is jade

dareth is boulder opal

(loosely written but becomes more structured near the end)

as for how the story plays out, this is set just before seabound. after zane gets hit by the bug, kai calls the team to warn them to stay away from the injectors. nya answers the call, asking if zane's alright. lloyd says to regroup at base. cole and jay don't pick up.

he and zane return to the monastery. kai has to keep away from physical contact as it's likely infectious (not sure for certain but something along those lines. maybe it's akin to a beacon, you touch an infected and it summons a horde of gembugs)

as for the reason why jay and cole didn't pick up, they were investigating an injector that was too far out for comms. cole ends up infected first and then makes contact with jay, infecting him too. they end up sending pixal closer to their location and in range of comms. she tells them to return to the monastery and look out for the injectors.

when everyone's returned, zane is not doing good. cole and jay seem slightly worse too. i think they put zane in a different room since he's further down the infection, just one of their villain holding cells. pixal is running scans on all of them. while she does this, jay accidentally bumps into nya. nya brushes it off, she'll be fiiiiine.

cole and jay get similarly put into holding cells, pixal investigates further. there isn't really anything obvious except she's detecting faint remnants of gemstones in each of them. as if their flesh is turning into rocks. she doesn't detect anything in zane as he's made out of the same element as his gem

while this happens, lloyd sends out a message to the commissioner to keep people away from the injectors and to isolate if infected, avoiding contact with others.

suddenly zane poofs and the gang freak out. the gem is bubbled and disappears. (the diamonds are about to infodump to patient 0 and the others will likely join them up there soon)

cole poofs now too and jay is panicking. there is a tic tic tic sound as they spot one of the gembugs just kinda standing there.

then all hell breaks loose. there's like a hundred of them that burst through one of the doors. jay stays behind to delay them, insisting he'll be ok as he's already infected anyways. he does hold them off but eventually ends up poofing too.

the 4 (pix, kai, nya and lloyd) run to their escape, using the land bounty to drive away from the monastery. they drive past the city but see people getting infected in droves. they pick up a few survivors along the way.

they drive off to the sea of sands to try to get to the junkyard. the bugs are quite far away. nya feels guilty and admits she may be what's luring the gembugs to them, due to making contact with jay before and not telling anybody.

they all say their goodbyes (contactless of course) and nya leaves the land bounty, the group driving away as she walks closer to the bugs scampering about in the far distance.

a walk. a jog. a sprint. nya summons water around her, forming into a giant tornado of spinjitzu. the gembugs being tossed around in a final blow from the elemental master of water. the tornado carries itself into a completely different direction than the junkyard or the city.

the team see it move over the horizon before it disappears.

they eventually arrive to the junkyard, setting up a camp. ed and edna are uninfected and happy to help. they are sure this spot is safe due to nobody else being infected and it being too far out for the bugs to find any time soon.

meanwhile at homeworld:

zane wakes up confused, looking around him to see 3 giant colour-coded women along with 3 smaller people too. they each have a gem somewhere on their body which is interesting. "oh look, it's a titanium! those are rare" says the blue one

the yellow one looks uninterested but watches anyways. the white one smiles before speaking.

she essentially just infodumps this whole operation they have going here and how the gems work. blue notices psychically that 2 more of them have turned into gems, teleporting them with a bubble. patients 0, 1 and 2. the first 3 to become infected.

they take a little while to form, cole coming out first, followed by jay. both are shocked by their new appearances and how they each only have 1 eye. cole having a large one in the middle of his face while jay has one of them replaced by his gem, similar to an eyepatch.

"a black sapphire and a sodalite! welcome welcome!"

"is that sapphire off colour?" yellow whispers

cole puts a hand on zane's shoulder. "zane! what the fuc-"

he covers his mouth with a hand. "excuse us for a minute"

zane turns them both around and pulls jay out of his space fanboying and into the conversation as well. "don't freak out, but i believe these three entities are equivalent to the first spinjitzu master. the species is some kind of sentient gemstone? these three are diamonds. they were the ones to send down the injectors. as an 'experiment'"

"experiment?" jay questions. "is that why i'm blue? why cole has one eye?"

"i believe so. they were trying to figure out how to create more of their species organically."

"well i'd say it sure worked." cole sighs. "i miss having depth perception already."

and then from that point i'm not really sure what happens

i guess gems and ninjago inhabitants coexist? i mean yes, the new gems will be kinda annoyed about losing their old forms but the gem forms are definitely stronger and more durable.

since the diamonds rule over all gems there would definitely be some independence battles since they were turned unwillingly. a trial maybe

those from ninjago would win the trial and be able to live regularly (albeit with new gem forms and gem tech)

i think earth and the crystal gems would help out too and then era 3 would begin
