Was thinking about cubito Tubbo and how time after time after time he is haunted by the motif of not being taken seriously/not believing believed and feeling like he is not cared for/not the first choice, so here is a list I wrote (feel free to correct if I misremembered something or if you have stuff to add):

c!tubbo <- constantly disregarded by anyone in power, 'just a pawn', 'the discs were worth more than you ever were'

o!tubbo (specifically season 3) <- not taken seriously in his attempts to be evil and his concerns over the glass ceiling constantly being disregarded, trying to get attention and appreciation of o!Phil and o!Sneeg and being brushed off

r!tubbo (especially season 2) <- laughed at when he lost his best friend, even when it was just a stick, constantly not believed when he says something, was exiled

q!tubbo <- ocean deep issues of not being the first choice to the point of trying to break up his best friends because he was afraid they wouldn't need him anymore if they dated, LITERALLY DIED because people did not believe that he is actually on a limited lifespan and has only one life left

tr!tubbo <- felt like the team does not value him enough and was not even believed that the suicide trap he made is real,died because of it

even sqc3!tubbo, who is not really a character bcs it is a different type of event still fits <- bad, pac, etoiles, etc did not believe when he tried to stop them from huddling in a corner during the night and they proceeded to die because of it

✨️ The Philverse Lore Masterpost ✨️

So I planned on making this a while ago and forgot but now I'm doing it.

And the formatting of this post MAY change in the future (like me providing other reference links and such for each Phil), but for now I'm gonna keep it simple.

This post is an explanation of how the Philza Cinematic Universe(tm) works, along with some widely accepted fanon things. It will update as cc!Phil changes things or canonizes new ones.

"Main" rp!Phil

"Main" Phil is Hardcore (hc) Phil, SMP Earth (smpe) Phil, DSMP (c) Phil, and QSMP (q) Phil. This is also the Phil that The Beginning by MaepleTea features.

It's important to note here that rp!Phil is canonically immortal (this is probably true for ALL rp!Phils, not just "main" Phil, cc!Phil has said things along these lines on multiple occasions in the past).

cc!Phil has described rp!Phil has hundreds of years old, though we have no idea how many centuries he's been alive. What we've seen is more or less just the last decade of his life, unless cc!Phil chooses to construct a timeline that says otherwise.

The timeline goes something like this:

HCS2 -> SMPE -> HCS4 -> DSMP -> QSMP -> ???

Obviously it's not linear like that, HCS4 is simultaneously going on during SMPE, DSMP & QSMP. In roleplay, the canon explanation is that hc!Phil can travel to other universes through what is basically dreamwalking. This gets explicitly confirmed in QSMP lore.

In other words, the Hardcore World is rp!Phil's universe of origin. Canonically (as confirmed by Phil in the S4 World Tour video) all seasons of Hardcore are one universe, which resets itself each time rp!Phil dies. After each reset, rp!Phil retains his memories of the previous iteration and starts over again, but with new knowledge to avoid dying again.

A better way to visualize this timeline would be to refer to IRL dates, like this (click for better quality):

Note: I didn't include HCS3 because it lasted like two weeks. Consider it a blip in rp!Phil's long immortal lifespan, if anything. I also didn't include HCS1 because Phil basically never refers to it other than the way that it ended. Considering there wasn't really any lore about hc!Phil being a historian/explorer prior to HCS4 anyway, this is basically fine to assume.

All of the above being the same guy is canonically confirmed, either explicitly stated BY cc!Phil himself, or with undeniable implications within roleplay.

SMP Earth is the only one of these that gets a little iffy to call confirmed because it's never been explicitly stated and technically SMPE wasn't a roleplay server, BUT: Considering the references and parallels c!Emduo make when they move to the tundra to get away from the rest of the DSMP, it becomes pretty obvious it can be considered canon. There are also multiple occasions where c!Emduo refer to what they did during the Antarctic Empire times. Furthermore, and I'll reiterate this in a moment: q!Phil tells stories to Chayanne & Lullah of things he and rp!Techno did during SMPE.

HCS2 (more specifically Phil's death) obviously gets referred to constantly in and out of roleplay, making it canon whether cc!Phil wants/considers it to be or not. This is one of few deaths we know rp!Phil has experienced, if not the only one. I imply there may be multiple deaths here because I don't remember if cc!Phil confirmed that rp!Phil died at the end of The Beginning before being saved by Goddess of Death or not. If so, that means rp!Phil has died at least twice: then, and in HCS2.

QSMP is actually the key universe to all of these other Phils being connected, since that is where cc!Phil chose to do lore to confirm all of these are the same guy. Prior to QSMP, we only knew SMPE and DSMP were connected thanks to c!Emduo.

QSMP confirmed that q!Phil is hc!Phil formally via the dreamwalking lore. Additionally, prior to this lore being dropped, again: there were multiple instances in which q!Phil told Chayanne & Lullah stories from his time on SMPE. Obviously, if SMPE is canon to both DSMP and QSMP, then those two are also connected by default. These stories were not the only reference to DSMP made during QSMP either. Multiple previous DSMP members also canonized DSMP and QSMP being connected.

And during all of this, rp!Phil is dreamwalking from the Hardcore World to these other worlds.

Origins SMP Phil (o!Phil)

This version of Phil is his own separate guy with a fully unique story from "main" Phil.

While "main" Phil is an immortal historian and explorer from Hardcore that can travel to other worlds via his dreams, o!Phil is an even more avian-coded guy trying his hardest to be a villain but failing at it miserably /aff.

As confirmed by cc!Phil: o!Phil comes from a dirt poor family who didn't want him to suffer the horrific reality of living in poverty, so his parents spoiled him rotten to the point of making themselves suffer. They later mysteriously disappeared (and are likely now dead). o!Phil's story in-rp (eventually) begins with him searching for them.

o!Phil has no idea he's not actually the entitled royalty he thinks he is. He eventually bonds with o!Sneeg, who chooses to be a "villain" with him, and they have a whole riveting, silly, weird ass codependent besties thing going on for the rest of Origin's multiple reboots. Their friendship in OSMP is what inspired 1/3 of the current theories for tr!Phil, who I'll get to momentarily.

o!Phil also canonically appeared in Rats SMP as a guest, as did o!Sneeg. They were searching for each other in the wake of OSMP "ending" (read: dying, again), and this intensified the fandom's interpretation that they're inseparable/codependent. This cameo also confirmed that both o!Phil and o!Sneeg can travel universes like "main" Phil.

Another important note: Some Crows consider cc!Phil's cameo in Aimsey SMP (ASMP) to be o!Phil because they share very similar attitudes and penchants for material goods, especially "shiny things."

Squidcraft Phil (sc!Phil)

The easiest rp!Phil to explain. cc!Phil himself said that sc!Phil is an alternate timeline version of "main" Phil, specifically q!Phil.

This is probably only due to the fact that Missa and several other QSMP members were in 2023's Squidcraft event, and cc!Phil couldn't resist being an angsty little shit with Missa throughout the event until his elimination.

The Realm SMP Phil (tr!Phil)

As of early 2025 when I'm making this post, we have no idea how tr!Phil fits into the Philverse. cc!Phil explicitly states he has no plans or intentions whatsoever to do lore on TRSMP, even if he does roleplay with other players like Sneeg or Fit. Assuming he doesn't change his mind on that, the following is ENTIRELY what the fandom headcanons/theorizes is true.

There are 3 main interpretations for tr!Phil's origin and I explain those in depth in this post here!

If or when we get more to go off of, I will update this section of the post. :)

Bonus Note(s)

MCC

The MCYT fandom widely headcanons MCC as a weird multiverse Hunger Games type thing where Noxcrew and Scott Smajor, whatever kind of higher power they may be, drag MCYTs across several universes into their little liminal space/pocket universe type place and have them to compete in the championship.

There have been references to MCC in SMPs during moments of varying degrees of roleplay were occurring. In rp!Phil's case, it's safe to consider "main" Phil is the one who gets put into MCC.

None of this, to my memory, is considered canon by cc!Phil, just silly popular fanon.

My Love Letter To The Community

The QSMP was everything, to me. It was such an amazing thing that not many people could even dream of, yet Quackity and his team had the vision, and not only that, but made it a reality. Thank you, Quackity. Thank you, Quackity Studios. Thank you, CC's. Thank you, Admins.

But most of all, thank you, QSMPblr.

You guys were by far the best part of this experience for me. Every event, every important moment, it was made better for me by the community. The fanart, the theories, the silly little liveblogs we all did for our favorite POV's. I laughed harder at some of your guy's stupid little chat messages or Tumblr posts then some of the actual in-stream moments.

I would not have fallen for the QSMP as hard as I did if it wasn't for the community. Before I joined Tumblr in September, it was just a little hobby I liked to check up on from time to time, but it was you, all of you, that helped me realize what a truly beautiful thing this was.

I need to talk about headcanons (talking about characters not ccs)

while this isn't as lengthy as I would like, I'm going to say it anyways.

I absolutely think (as much as C!Wil doesn't talk about it) that man does he have issues with his father. Specifically in his childhood, I think he just was not given enough attention. Between Techno being the older of the two (and the undeniable favorite of Phil), and Tommy being the youngest, Wil definitely has middle child syndrome.

And also the fact that C!Phil actually ended his life?

In my head, if someone brought this up, he would act all "Phil did nothing wrong", "I had no issues with him", yes he did. What parent hears "stab me dad" and actually does it. There has got to be some feelings about that somewhere. This man (c!wil) is just so absolutely horrible about talking about his feelings. We all know this.

This man needs so much therapy.

A funny, and kind of annoying, thing I've come to realise that the SBI family dynamic truthers really don't understand why the SBI family dynamic wasn't made canon in the DSMP. Cause from what I remember it was mainly because it didn't make sense for Techno's character, specifically because of his dynamic with Tommy.

Cause yeah, if Techno and Tommy were brothers, half the shit in Pogtopia would have happened very differently. Hell, Tommy's exile would have happened a lot differently. First thing is Tommy would have stepped in during the festival cause he would have known Techno doesn't do well with peer-pressure (likely only being stopped by Wilbur holding him back), and even if he for some reason didn't try and stop Tubbo's execution the pit fight wouldn't have happened cause Techno wouldn't want to beat the shit out of his little brother. The Withers likely still would have happened along with the Theseus speech but it likely would have been less of a threat and more of a warning.

Then comes exile where Techno would still laugh an "I told you so" at him while dragging Tommy's dumbass back to his cabin. Which wouldn't have prevented Dream from visiting but would have prevented the TNT stuff because Dream's whole manipulation plan was based around Wilbur's way of controlling Tommy in Pogtopia (which I could go on an entirely separate rant about but I don't want to make this ask too long). Which Techno doesn't even think about. There's also the fact that in this hypothetical, Tommy would now be staying and listening to the brother that doesn't hate Dream's guts and isn't gunning for power.

Honestly I could be wrong and incredibly biased about this but I am so tired of the "c!Techno and c!Phil are neglectful family members" trope, cause while it could make sense for Phil's character, it doesn't for Techno. Not with how dedicated he is with the people he cares about.

Do I think that Tommy would go as far as to help with Doomsday in this AU/hypocritical? Maybe, considering Tommy would be there when the Butcher Army shows up or if Techno changes his pitch from "Tubbo betrayed you" to "L'Manburg is driving you and Tubbo apart".

Honestly I've just been reading way too many fics where SBI is canon and Techno is way too ready to kill Dream as though Techno wouldn't have dragged Tommy to the cabin the first night of exile if it was his brother, and not some random kid he met during a revolution that was the surrogate brother of his bestfriends son.

At most there would have been one instance of Dream blowing Tommy's things up that first night and that would be it.

Sorry for the long rant, this could have been its own post on my page but I thought you would have an interesting take on this kind of topic considering your a lot more knowledgeable on Dream's character then I am.

Well I mean the biggest argument for sbi not being canon is all of the ccs said so lol. But as you point out it also just doesn’t make sense canonically speaking either. Now we could say that siblings act differently toward each other and in other stories we certainly see that difference in closeness. There is also age gap to consider, all of my siblings and I are 2-3 years apart, which is pretty close, but the further the gap is the more that sibling dynamic changes and can even become more parental. Also, siblings tend to have more conflict during young adult years as they all try and figure themselves out, becoming more independent and setting boundaries and such. Sibling dynamics just tend to be different and it does depend on childhood and parenting, and personality. Especially I think (as a middle of 4) the bigger the family the more drama and conflict there is. So there is technically a world in which sbi exist with the canonical dynamic between Techno and Tommy.

However, you are also right, that that dynamic would stay consistent and yet many fanfic writers tend to have their dynamics and behavior change, where Techno becomes more protective and close to Tommy. In other words, you could have the same dynamic and sbi, but it shouldn’t change. And in that sense, after spending months locked up with Dream and after Tommy siding with the country who tried to kill him and unable during Doomsday to see the problems with that, I don’t personally think Techno would choose Tommy over Dream. Dream saved his life, what has Tommy ever done for Techno? Sure Phil, but Phil doesn’t have much of a relationship with Dream, so that’s different.

Anyways, I’m not so sure Tommy would have stepped in at the festival. Because I think he trusted Techno and his strength to be able to handle it and being his sibling wouldn’t change that. Afterwards, I think perhaps he would be more understanding of Techno’s reasoning and maybe even forgive him. As far as the pit goes, I think it still could have been a thing. For starters, because the violence scale on the dsmp is scuffed and like people be pushing each other off roofs and stabbing for fun. So, I could totally see it be more like a roughhouse time or whatever, I mean in my experience brothers in general tend to fight, even if it’s a little sibling.

Yeah I mean his line ‘You want to be the hero, Tommy? Then die like one!’ Might not have happened, especially since that happens before the bigger betrayal. I think him calling Tommy Theseus was kind of a warning anyways, but that’s besides the point.

I do think I agree, that on the first day, when Techno comes to visit Tommy in exile he would have dragged him to the cabin. Leaving Dream to search for him and perhaps eventually end up at Techno’s. Perhaps since that scenario Techno would be more involved and it’s less Tommy snuck into your basement, Techno would strike a deal with Dream that he’ll keep an eye on Tommy and keep him away from the main server area. This goes well until the Butcher Army happens causing Techno to go after L’manberg. Given that Tubbo is still Tommy’s ex-friend, and without Exile he didn’t spend as much time alone thinking about how all of his friends don’t visit him and stuff, I think perhaps he would be more resistant to destroying L’manberg… whether Techno could influence Tommy enough to make him more neutral to Dream and more anti-government, I think is hard to say. Tommy has hated Dream and seen him as a bad guy, who even got him exiled, for a long time and Wilbur certainly sank his claws of propaganda into him. However, Wilbur’s death and betrayal certainly takes away some of his influence. Techno is good at pointing out the reasoning and obvious - You blackmailed Dream and expected it to go well? Bruhhh…- maybe Tommy would listen or maybe not I could see both ways. He is stubborn, but also Techno’s influence, the lack of Wilbur’s influence, and the lack of Dream’s exile manipulation (not sure what you mean by being based on Wilbur, you should write an essay about it) could be enough to turn Tommy’s alliance a bit. Not sure it’d be enough to make him participate in Doomsday though, I think Techno would keep his point that ‘Tubbo betrayed you’ and that ‘the government divided you,’ which without Dream around would be alot easier to convince Tommy of.

Yea it is sad to see them portray Techno that way, especially as you said, we see Techno more so reflect how much he cares for all of his loved ones and animals. I mean Phil is canonically neglectful to Wilbur, unless we use some kind of reasoning of why he couldn’t come to the server before, but even his behavior when Will is revived isn’t great. But Techno is hardly neglectful.

I don’t think Tommy is some random kid. I always got the impression they were friends before like from smp earth and that Wilbur was more so the stranger. Especially as there is that conversation (I think with L’mandog) where Wilbur says ‘I just don’t know you that well yet.’ So Tommy and Techno were always a friend-ish relationship. Unlike Tubbo though, Techno didn’t just follow Tommy, he stood up for his principles and goals even when Tommy opposed them.

Well, hopefully I addressed all of your points, I don’t even think I talked about Dream much lol. I’m trying to imagine how things would be different for him if Exile didn’t happen and honestly I think it’d change a lot. Though L’manberg would still be plotting against Dream so Doomsday would still happen. But would some of the other things? If there was a huge rift between Tommy and Tubbo and Tommy was behaving thanks to Techno, then the disc finale might not have happened. Still, Dream is still scared of a big unkillable threat so a prison would still be built, and everyone still hates Dream so perhaps he’d still plan to put himself inside. But then you have the circumstances in prison, would they be as bad without Exile? Would Tommy even bother to come visit him, would he still kill Tommy in prison, certainly not if Techno was still aligned with him. Maybe he’d instead try and manipulate Tommy into pitying him and telling Techno he needs to get out or something…

I don’t know… it’s interesting to think about though…

Okay here's a bit more of the Cosmic PT cast, introducing Cosmic Pepperman and Cosmic Vigilante.

One small thing before we start ☝️, these are what you can define as "beta" designs, as you can see by the fact it's neither colored or digital, I just want to share those to hear some feedback and possible fresh ideas to make those designs better. Also because I want to share what they do and what is specific about them story wise. Until I say explicitly that I'm done with the design, keep in mind that they might change overtime. With that being said let's get to it!

And here's Cosmic Pepperman,

currently at the very end of the minor cosmic stage and one of the most experienced cosmic entity of the PT cast who's still around. Phil mostly plays solo and loves to show off when he intervenes in a universe, when he's here you know you're about to see a performance of quality 👌. Although sometimes his attempt at throwing shades and look cool falls flat and he can make a fool out of himself... But no matter what happens he always manages to save the day before disappearing Meta Knight style using his long jacket as a cape.

Meanwhile in the cosmic realm, Phil still is a freelance artist, showing off his art in his own museum in Cosmopolis's center. Before Cosmic Noise appeared, Phil's museum was one of the most popular and visited place of the realm, after NNS took over the public, the museum lost of it's glory and became another building among others with very few visitors. Ever since that, Phil holds a pretty big grudge toward Cosmic Noise, boycotting his show and just being generally annoyed at C Noise's presence.

For Pepperman's design I got inspired by his costume of the Halloween update and slitly exaggerated it to make a long flowy jacket. Also I gave him small star shaped shades because shades and Pepperman are just MEANT to be together, the star shape is just to stay consistent with the Cosmic theme (very thought out eh 👁️👄👁️👍), and finally one of my favorite aspect of his design is his scar across his face of which he wears with style ✨✨✨.

Now beware, here comes Cosmic Vigilante

Also at the very end of the minor cosmic stage, one the most experienced of the cast and the most efficient at his job. Vigi really puts his heart when doing his tasks, being very serious and making sure that everything goes back to normal, as if nothing happened. He also is the stealthiest entity of the cast with very little people to have ever noticed him in his whole carrier.

In the Cosmic realm, Vigi doesn't really have a job, his only job is to fix any anomalies in the multiverse so he just uses his time in the realm to have a break, take a coffee, going for a stroll or hang out with friends.

For the Vigilante's design, I barely changed anything, his hat is different with the edge going slitly up in flames, the only note worthy detail is his left eye of course, his scar is hidden by a very bright star, a star with the very cool effect of giving it's owner future vision, it only predicts things 10 seconds max before they happen, but it is still a formidable advantage.

Together, Pepperman and The Vigilante are a very efficient cosmic duo, over time they grew a very good relationship and learn how to work with each other. When joined together, they're very professional (in most cases) and really forged a reputation among cosmic entities.

And now is time for :

Random trivia ✨✨✨

Because I don't know how to write a sentence

Very few people knows about Vigi's future vision, only some members of the PT cast does, if the court comes to know about it, Vigi WILL get in trouble.

Pepperman kept his ability to bring his art to life after becoming a cosmic entity, he might be the only being of the realm capable of breathing life into inanimate objects (assuming that his art are conscious beings with free will and not puppets Pepperman controls somehow)

Both Pepperman and Vigilante's memories degenerated to the point they can't remember the people they once knew, they only remember experiences of their past life but not the people that participated in those experience.

The Vigilante's mode of transport is his hat ! He gets inside of it and morphs it into an UFO (with a gyrophare occasionally when he's on the hunt for an outlaw) , the hat gets transparent and you can see him all squished up inside his hat.

Cosmic Vigilante is aware that he's a cheese slime, which was a huge shock when he figured it out

When disappearing "Meta Knight style" Phill doesn't actually disappears, he just trows his jacket in the air and spins it to get people's attention while he runs as far and fast as possible into the distance, he runs until he reaches the edge of the universe and only after that he gets back to the cosmic realm.

this is a great and lovely question and i love you so much 👍 i would say patrick would be a constantly slightly wired music theory professor. i imagine that he’d come off as a little intimidating and strict, like he’d want to appear relatively professional and be as clearly good at his job as he can be, so i feel like he might be considered a little scary just by virtue of the fact that he’s mr professor guy, but if you catch him outside of class hours or email him for an extension and he’s totally the sweetest in lieu of pete’s ‘patrick looks like a teddy bear but really gets the fucking job done’. he’s mostly a lecturer but also does stuff with the school’s music societies (think conducting the college band and helping with the acapella group) i feel like he’s actively working on the most tedious sounding paper in the world but he’s SO excited about it and will take any opportunity to bring it up in conversation. i think he’d very rarely talk about his life outside of work because he’d like to ‘maintain a healthy work-life separation’ (plus he likes the drama of it) and thus he’s considered kind of an enigma. also pete bought him one of those ‘i have a phd (pretty huge dick)’ t shirts. he thinks he’s funny

pete would teach i think creative writing and he’d mostly do shorter workshops both for enrolled students and the wider local community (middle schools etc) focused more on getting people to enjoy the craft of writing something over doing it for a grade, but would still run regular traditional lectures and whatnot. he’d have a less traditionally professional professorial vibe than patrick, like he’d be wearing his big mohair cardigans and he’d be very forthcoming about his misguided youth in the hardcore scene and would frequently bring up and gush over his nameless partner. i imagine him being endearingly cringe in the how-do-you-do-fellow-kids manner and appearing a little frazzled and soft-spoken outside of his classes, because patrick has a significant leg up on him in the one-on-one conversation department. he’d always to an almost obnoxious degree be attempting to shill his bizarre novel but get bashful when it’s brought up to him <3

the way i imagine it being laid out as a piece of writing is focused on either a student who majors in some kind of music field and is taking one of pete’s shorter workshop classes as a supplemental credit because it looked fun, OR a relatively new co-worker of theirs. it’d take place over the course of around 3-4 months and primarily focus on this person’s ever so slightly unhealthy curiosity towards both the wider question of what patrick’s whole deal is outside of work and more specifically who on the faculty patrick is dating because he once made the mistake of letting slip that his partner worked at the same place as him <3 the conceit lies in the fact it’d be functionally completely unknown that they’re together amongst the student population and this would be maintained primarily through the fact that a) they seem very different in terms of their interests and behaviours b) they are rarely seen to interact because they teach mostly on different areas of campus c) patrick is crucially very private about his life and times d) pete despite otherwise being a total blabbermouth would refuse outright to speak on the subject because he loves and respects his special little man and e) 9/10 times it’s funnier to lie to people than it is to tell them the truth. so they’re functionally the pre-2019 dan and phil of chicago university lecturers

other facets of this universe include the fact that patrick has a bear pride flag sticker on his owala and his students struggle to discern whether or not he understands that it is in fact a pride flag sticker, and that pete keeps telling increasingly ambitious lies to his students about his life for the sake of his own sick entertainment. significantly, patrick won’t really be a singer: my vision for the backstory is that patrick did join pete and joe’s pop punk project but was too shy to do vocals and it fell apart after a few months but they all remained very close friends. i imagine that he does sing and does still have a beautiful voice, he’s just not really interested in doing anything with it 🫶

two of my biggest stances on dsmp analysis is that anything that happens in audience view is canon and that because of the nature of the medium (live collaborative rp), it's always good to take a doylist look at things.

the latter i've talked about a lot before in regards to things like the syndicate being friends (the argument being they're not, specifically c!niki and c!ranboo, because we never see them bonding) though it also applies to things like why certain events took place when they did. and how those things are understandable because of real life things that would've hampered or prevented them from happening.

but there's one moment in dsmp canon that drives that fact home, that really shows that sometimes things might happen more so either because real life interferes or because doing otherwise would impede on another person's planned story line: c!ranboo's death and c!techno's reaction to it.

specifically the fact he was in the presence of a character who can bring people back from the dead - something techno acknowledges - and doesn't ask. he says to c!phil as c!dream is walking away that dream can revive people but doesn't actually make an effort to go ask him. and when he's speaking to dream later, he also doesn't ask.

there's no doubt that techno is immensely fond of ranboo, that he cares about them. he's deeply upset and hurt by ranboo's death! it is out of character that he would acknowledge the ability to revive ranboo and not pursue that.

but doing so would've kinda put out other people's story plans so it doesn't happen. just like the syndicate bonding/training didn't happen or other events took longer to happen for reasons related to offline events.

i don't really know what the point of this post is other than to finally put some things into words that have been bothering me for years.

OH OH we fucking love "weird" spiritual practices I'm stoked as fuck to get an ask like this. We're starting to get back into spirituality as a collective, because syscovery really shook us up and made us drop our practice. So actually we can totally answer this- it's not wrong at all in our opinion, and it's even something we've seen people do!!

Pop culture practices are a whole thing! I 100% encourage you to do whatever the hell you want. It's your practice. Our Phil(DSMP) is building a little altar for Death, specifically Death from his world and his wife. Our Genshin fictives are incredibly likely to incorporate their canon into their spiritual practices, and hell we as a collective see Teyvat (Genshin's world) as merely another reality.

I'd totally toss our spirituality blog at y'all if enough ppl wanted it, we just so rarely post on it because our practice has been non-existent lately. We just haven't STARTED doing pop culture practices, or any practices for that matter (god we need to pick up our tarot again wtf) so ehhhh. But absolutely do whatever!! Worship the Watchers again, etc, we're of the opinion that spirituality can and should be whatever makes you happiest.

Oh and as a final note, it doesn't have to be problematic that's just the focus of the blog! All fictionfolk are welcome to talk about whatever they have relation to their identities.

Hi! I've been looking over your DSMP x Empires stuff, specifically your Papa fWhip AU, since I'm making my own empires!Tommy AU. I love the story your writing and I can't wait to see more updates.

Though I am curious, and sorry if you have talked about this before, what is Tommy and Xornoth's dynamic in your AU? Since Tommy is presumably close to the Wither Rose Alliance, specifically fWhip and Gem, he'd likely get involved with the Xornoth stuff, so how does that play out? Also what are your plans for Xornoth for your AU in general, I've seen people go for the redemption route and people go for the big bad evil guy route, so I'm curious what your going to do in your AU, if Xornoth is a part of it at all.

Tommy and Xornoth are two of my favourite dynamics to think about, besides, of course, Tommy and fWhip. Xornoth, at first, does try to recruit Tommy to his side of things, but he's very quickly rejected. I personally believe that with everything Tommy has gone through up until he arrives in Empires, he wouldn't openly fear Xornoth the way the other Empires do. Xornoth reminds him of his worst abusers on the SMP (c!Dream, c!Wilbur, c!Schlatt, etc.), and while that does terrify him, that fear manifests as unbridled rage. The Grimlands are his safe space, the one good thing to ever happen to him; how DARE some dickhead come in and try to destroy it?

He openly mocks Xornoth. Whenever he's around, Tommy shouts and swears and bullies him until he eventually gets tired of this angry teenager and leaves—all the typical behaviour we expect from Tom. This, in turn, infuriates Xornoth. How DARE this imp child not take him, Xornoth, Champion of Exor seriously? He tries every trick in the book to really scare Tommy, make him kneel before his demonic power, but no matter what he tries, it seems the kid's resolve is stronger. Tommy spits and laughs in his face. Xornoth traps him in the Nether and forces him to fight a horde of undead. Tommy easily defeats the mobs and calls Xornoth a coward for needing others to do his bidding. Xornoth himself has appeared to Tommy just to beat him up and show him his real power, only for Tommy to STILL call him pathetic and weak.

Don't be fooled like Xornoth, though—Tommy's just had to learn how to suppress his fear in the face of danger his whole life. As soon as he gets back to the Grimlands, safe in his bedroom, he gets severe panic attacks and nightmares (not from Xornoth's powers) over being reminded of his previous home. He won't EVER let anyone see his fear, though, most certainly not fWhip. He feels he needs to be strong for his new dad. c!Phil only allowed him to stick around because he was tougher than the other kids, so that must be what fWhip expects from him, right? (Wrong.)

There's also the fact that I've changed Tommy's race in the AU to an imp. Imps and demons are very closely related but have one key difference: imps are born, whereas demons are made. This distinction is not well known beyond those who come from the Nether and causes great confusion in this AU.

As for whether I'd like to redeem Xornoth, yes! Like I said, demons are made, not born. In my headcanons, Xornoth was patient zero for the corruption and has been festering under its and Exor's influence for so long it has turned him into an unrecognizable monster. But like Sausage and Joey, it is possible to remove the corruption from him—just not in the same way, of course, since it's been inside him for so many decades. I headcanon Scott as 139 in this AU since elves aren't considered adults until they are over 100, and that Xornoth ran away to be Exor's champion at 17, so he's had over 100 years of abuse and control from his God.

All the emperors come together to cure Xornoth after discovering this, and with their combined efforts and the magic from each empire, they just barely manage to pull it off. It's a bit of "and with the power of friendship, we defeated the evil!" scenario, but Empires is a bit of a silly series, and I feel that's not entirely out of pocket for them. Tommy, however, who comes from a very grimdark series like the DSMP, is ripping his hair out that it actually worked; the power of fucking friendship actually saved the day.

Vague Plot

Phil is notorious for going out of his way to get on Crowley's nerves at times. It's not that he's malicious, and it's not that he dislikes the guy (but he certainly doesn't Like him), it's just so easy to do and so fun to watch! Crowley can be so immature and predictable at times, it's just so easy for this salty immortal bird bastard to entertain himself by getting on his "tory traveling companion's" shitlist.

And Crowley does it right back. He finds just the right topics or stupid questions to ask Phil. Sometimes he even gets on his nerves without trying to, like when he whines about not having a specific resource or having to put in an effort to get said resources instead of having them handed to him.

Phil is the one that named Crowley that. That's not his name. Phil is not calling him Phillip or whatever his actual name is. "Fuck you, you're Crowley. L."

Inversely, Crowley refuses to call Phil Phil out of spite. Old Man, Bastard Bird, Other Crow Guy, Death Angel Or Whatever. Anything that isn't "Phil" or "Philza." Purely out of petty spite.

One thing's for certain though: Neither of them will sink too low. No going after personal traumas. They're petty, they're just jesting and aggravating each other, not trying to make enemies.

They convincingly act like they hate each other though, and honestly they might just a shred. But the moment there's danger, their true colors show. Phil will launch himself between Crowley and a hostile mob, Crowley takes excessive pleasure in killing baby zombies for Phil, both of them will throw down with a motherfucker for talking shit about the other, Crowley actually finds Phil's stories about past endeavors really fascinating (he loves Antarctic Empire stories), Phil secretly sees great potential in Crowley ("if he can grow the fuck up"). Deep down, they realize they're currently all they have, and they're not gonna take that for granted because neither of them can tolerate the soul crushing feeling of being alone.

Their relationship is NOT familal. You could hardly call them mentor/student, even though that's what they're meant to be. Phil is passing on his centuries of wisdom to Crowley for him to fend for himself properly. And directing the reigns in where they go because explorer brain is locked in, and Crowley needs to learn how to navigate rather than aimlessly wander.

All their actual bonding happens late at night, when they're both unable to sleep because their heartaches are haunting them and their only company is each other and a campfire.

Despite all his bitching and adamant refusal to admit it, Crowley deeply admires Phil once they've been traveling together long enough. His raw power, his seemingly infinite skills, his tenacity and stubbornness. Phil is exactly what Crowley wants to be.

Similarly, Phil won't admit it but he thinks Crowley can not only learn the things he needs to to survive on his own, but has the potential to excel at them so long as he stops being so entitled and turns his snobbism and fear into motivation.

But he's seen many times that Crowley is a coward. There's no other way to put it. And that worries him deeply. He's talked about bits of his past to Crowley, like the fairly recent possession ordeal (Crowley asked about his wings and Phil did Not have a good time with it). The thought of any of Ender King getting in Crowley's head terrifies Phil. It'd be so easy, and he hates that, because he desperately wants to have more faith in Crowley; especially as more time goes on. But he just knows he's too tempted by seemingly easy solutions.

On that note, Crowley may be a "dumb, bratty asshole with a silver spoon in his mouth and no life experience," but he's still observant. He can tell when Phil is grappling with some kinda demons in his head (Phil gets waaay too anxious about being greedy in Crowley's opinion). And Phil can tell the same about him. It's partially what lead them to agree not to pry or harass each other with personal traumas.

Crowley, obviously, is very very jealous of Phil. He has everything he wants and more. But Phil isn't jealous of Crowley almost at all. The only thing he envies are his fully working and unharmed wings. Even so, this could no doubt lead to very explosive arguments between the two of them, because Crowley is jealous of things Phil would NOT take kindly to being envied about.

As much of a fledgling Crowley is when it comes to real world experience and life skills, he still has his strengths, some Phil actually lacks to a certain degree. He can navigate certain social situations seamlessly; he's great at reading tone and expressions, he's spectacular at negotiating, and should the situation require it, he's a decent actor. He'll lay the aristocrat act on thick and pull the "friends in high places" card (though friends in high places is pretty literal in his case since he has no one. It's Phil perched somewhere above and ready to drop down to kill a bitch).

Crowley is secretly a sucker for praise and often goes out of his way to try and impress Phil or do something that'll greatly benefit the two of them in an effort to please Phil. Phil has 100% clocked this and just doesn't say anything. It's vaguely amusing to him.

There's a comical ongoing thing between them where Phil refuses to explain Kristin's existence to Crowley bc "it's too much to unpack" but he keeps accidentally slipping and mentioning her name or referring to his ties to Death. And every time Crowley asks him wtf he's on about, or an actual Rare Crowley Question of Genuine Curiosity, Phil has to scramble to cover his own ass.

You could not pay Crowley enough and you could not bribe Phil with any amount of god apples to get them to hug or physically touch each other in any way that isn't irrefutably necessary. It's practically a miracle if they poke each other or something to get the other's attention.

Despite all their reasons for not getting along, good god do they have a fair few things in common aside from being two very lonely avians. Like their ungodly and sometimes debilitating fear of failure. :)

The longer they're together, the more codependent they'll become on each other. It's a very slippery slope for them both because they're so vulnerable and lonely at the moment. That's exactly what started this entire thing, it could very much just keep worsening, especially when they actually bond.

And once they do bond, good god will they be a terrifying duo. The smarts between them both,,, something something the way crows teach each other and pass information on to their future generations.

Philza specific Headcannons: Philza Minecraft timeline.

Heyo Tumblr, back with my third post on C!Phil, this time I'll elaborate on my takes on some of my timelines for Philza since it's complex and full of detail I could analysis, MAYBE I'll separate this all in 2 posts: pre-DSMP and AFTER-DSMP, well let's go!

timeline for c!philza:

(nothing official, this is MY interpretation on his events and lore connecting and stitching everything together)

The beginning:

Okay this starts with the icarus animatic made OFFICIALLY for his lore by Maepletea

In this we can agree Philza was originally a human, however, in my interpretation, Phil always had a connection to crows, living in an isolated shack (which makes me believe he was always a isolated and introverted person wanting to stay away from any trouble and people), his obsession for flying, possibly in my view seeing he understood the crows just like they got him. Worth noting in the end of the animatic he was saved by Mumza and implied perhaps SHE granted his wings and avian side and supposed immortality, so you can say from HERE Phil is the one avian old man we know and love, before being just a plain human with nothing special or perhaps affinity with paranormal, crows, death and deities. Being alone but FEELING/SEEING something else and knowing the existence of something more such as The End (which would explain why Enderking has a liking to him, he is more than any other avian or human, he can see, understand and be in a equal foot with the deities having their favor).

Hardcore season 2:

Okay, let's start with season 2 since I think season 1 has no lore or hints we could use to this analysis, in season 2 we are introduced to the deities, but the most important is Rose and Enderking since they will be REALLY important to future events.

In here Phil is ALREADY an avian, we can see he can ALREADY interact with the deities and probably is already recognized as The Angel of Death, meaning in here in the middle of the season perhaps he got together with Kristin as a representant/warrior for her or Soul reaper, I think they'd only be together in season 4 (due to irl events where if I'm certain Phil married Kristin in 2020/2021, since it's CREEPY to assume when they started dating let's say mid season 2 they start to date AS CHARACTERS)

And before we finish for season 2 for now, we should mention Ender King was already attacking the overworld and nether in season 2, perhaps here being when Philza first made contact with him ON A NEGATIVE WAY, the end of season 2 I interpret death as Phil SMALL PIECE of his Soul being killed but Kristin helps him again to stay alive with immortality, but before that he stayed in a species of dream before recover which is

Season 3: the dream

Season 4: the current moment

Okay I'll talk about EarthSMP and Origins in another post, what I need to focus is on QSMP and DSMP for this part

In here, the conflict between the deities rose, Enderking finally making a war against all others, resulting in Endlantis, we have flowerfall as well in a conflict between Ocean overlordand Enderking and the Nethervoid in conflict between Blaze empress and Enderking, what does Phil have to do with it? In one way or another, Phil sided and made allies with the deities, which would save his life later on, but also, this could be the moment the Enderking noticed how STRONG Phil can truly be and how he could make a good vessel because Phil even if slightly is a greedy person.

In here we also have Philza marriage to Mumza, and we could say it was in here that he adopted Techno, C!Wilbur and Tommy, next is a bit of a personal interpretation and hc, but Phil adopted Techno in the beginning of season 4 in the nether preparing for going to the end, C!Wilbur is the biological child between him and Mumza (proven with DSMP) and Tommy was adopted pre-pogtopia on the DSMP.

This shows the beginning of the SBI truly but also conforming:

• Techno is the oldest kid and probably the one most loyal to Phil due to seeing all Phil's struggles plus a "favorite"' due to Techno loyalty and never letting Phil down and vice-versa

• Wilbur is the middle kid, which only had a stronger bond with Tommy, wasn't THAT loyal to Phil but still got his approval and protection

• Tommy is just the youngest and lost kid, Phil probably loving him just as much, but not accepting Tommy actions towards them, especially Techno, and for being young and naive, Phil wouldn't hold back to correct Tommy, no matter how Tommy interpreted it.

We can also finish this section by saying in all this, this was the moment Philza perfected his war skills he'd use later on in his life, all thanks to seasons 2 and 4

Also worth noting QSMP is a Philza dream, but Q!Phil, C!Phil and Hardcore!Phil are all the same people, you could say only QSMP is a dream and DSMP was real, but that would mess stuff too much, for this analysis and finishing this post for now, let's divide this into 2 timelines, the REAL world timeline and the Dream world/alternative Philza timelines which could be real but only in a different universe, which leaves us with this order:

Real world: hardcore --> EarthSMP --> DSMP

Dream world/alternative universes: real world timeline then we mix and it --> OriginsSMP --> QSMP

Or, we could separate origins as something else entirely and make:

Dsmp --> QSMP

But FOR NOW, this is part 1 of my Philza timeline... WHICH IS A MESS BUT OH WELL

Man's Best Friends with Benefits (08x15) is hilarious and dumb right off the bat and I think it's great.

This is cheating because I've seen the episode before, but after James has his nightmare it cuts to him in bed... with his dog familiar... who can also appear as a human woman. But she sleeps in his bed as a dog. Which they're both okay with even though they're having intimate relations. Okay!!! Interesting dynamic!!!

Dean complaining about going out of their way to help someone who saved their life (apparently; happened off screen, it's real, shut up) is the funniest character growth of all time. Season!One Dean insisted they spend a week in prison for some guy that their dad knew, and now he's inconvenienced by someone they literally owe a life debt to. Amazing.

Sam immediately gets played by a dog doing nothing more than showing her belly. People shouldn't have this much trouble killing the Winchesters, send in a skinwalker and Sam would open the door to it right away and get his face bitten off.

Sam also immediately freaking out when Dean comes back with the food and the dog's in the room. What's Dean gonna do, idiot!! Ground you?? I love you.

Sam and Dean objectifying the dog woman giving them a dressing down two minutes after meeting her. What the actual hell. Dean, I can see it, but Sam, I'm surprised with you.

This is the first episode with good witches (though there's an argument to be made with Cordelia and Spike in Shut Up, Dr. Phil) and right away sets them up as a fancy-pants club with cool powers. The whole witch mythos really starts spiraling here because you can just, a) become a witch, or b) you sell your soul to become a witch, or c) are just naturally a witch which is different from being a psychic... somehow. It's such a mess. Also, this witch club is silly. How many goddamn witches are there in St. Louis that they need a whole-ass club?

The only people James have are the Winchesters? The fact that he's never been in any episode before this makes this whole exchange ridiculous. And kinda sad.

Portia storming away from an argument as a dog is great. I wish I could to that. I wish to be literally that bitchy.

Dean breaks out chains to keep James locked down. I know they have handcuffs! What the hell!!

You know, considering all the spellwork we see later on in the show, the idea that a witch controlling another via magic is basically unheard of is just silly.

Okay, we finally get to address the the elephant in the room--that a white guy "owns" a black woman that he's sleeping with, whom she calls "master." I just wish I could be a fly on the wall in that writer's room when that finally clicked. "You know, the optics on this aren't great." "Shit, you're right. What if... she chains him up while they're having sex. It's like symbolic of how their relationship is actually equal!" "BRILLIANT!" What a shit-show.

I love that the boys were just going to Molotov James in his bed. While he was awake. Amazing.

Dean awkwardly implying bestiality is great. Dean, they don't fuck when she's a dog, for crissakes. I mean, probably not.

WHY IS DEAN STILL THINKING ABOUT BESTIALITY?? Also, Dean asking a Black woman about her identity... stay classy, Dean.

Why is there a spell specifically for implanting images into a witch's mind? Why is it not for everyone? WHY ARE WITCHES JUST SUDDENLY A DIFFERENT SPECIES?!

Okay, look, this episode is certainly... flawed. But I honestly think James & Portia would have made much better spin-off material than that stupid Bloodlines crap they tried to sell us next season. Think about it. You get the forbidden love angle without the tired Romeo and Juliet crap Bloodlines was going for, and James is a cop so you could have them start up a supernatural detective agency or something, which would be a much better way to expand on witch and monster lore without being restricted to the five family politics. Would it be a good show? Probably not, but it's not like Bloodlines was going to be high art either, and at least James & Portia wouldn't have committed the crime of trying to pitch a show that basically already existed on the network (The Originals).
