Dude I need claws SO bad. Except I need prosthetics to be really sturdy, so I can actually like. Use them for shit. Like I wanna be able to wear them to help me climb or claw at stuff or whatever I need them for. But people only make like plastic or foam or resin claws. It's not STRONG enough. I need like. IRON claws. STEEL claws. Claws I can climb trees and rock faces with. Claws that could kill a man if I wanted them to. It's a fucking TRAGEDY these aren't a thing, and I swear to God I'm about to learn metalworking just so I can make myself a suitable set.

There anyone else here who that finds comfort in abandoned buildings in a like, alterhuman/nonhuman type of way?

for me, it mostly comes from seeing buildings that have been overrun with nature. Vines everywhere, moss growing on the once pristine walls, flowers blooming through the floorboards or tile, bushes and grass replacing the old carpet, giant trees that now dominate the biggest rooms of the home. I feel like I’m in my element seeing those pictures; feeling the wildness and wonder of nature while within the familiar surroundings of lost humanity.

and some of it comes from seeing liminal spaces. A place where it SEEMS to be habituated by humans but at the same time it’s not. It feels like a place where I can truly express and feel like my true identity without the rude strangers or stares. A place where I can be the strange entity that people are scared of encountering, to be that strange being that some people might not understand but want to befriend, a place where I can TRUELY; be myself in.
