Donald Trump is poised to trounce Nikki Haley Saturday in her home state of South Carolina, an exclusive Suffolk University/USA TODAY poll finds, with a yawning advantage that hasn't been diminished by the former president's controversies or legal travails.
Among those very likely to vote in the state's Feb. 24 Republican primary, Trump leads Haley by close to 2-1, 63%-35%.
"The story of this poll is the depth of strength shown by Trump," said David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Center. The former president holds double-digit advantages among men and women, in every age group, and among both high school graduates and those with a college degree.
Think of all the money spent by Democrats to the Haley campaign, hoping and a praying, that a miracle would happen and she would beat Trump. Hysterical!
Trump is exactly what America needs!

being in so many fandoms is crazy because how do i explain to people that i like Lord of the Flies AND South Park but also Invader Zim and any analog horror series ever but also American Horror Story AND Kindergarten. how does my aesthetic go from feminine-coquette-Lana Del Rey core to extreme horror movies to Ethel Cain-southern gothic. And that’s not even including my interests in noise music, abstract film, 80s club kids & drag, performance art and high fashion… there’s too much going on with me

There are few things more stressful than trying to find a game day outfit for a southern college whose colors are bright orange and white. I have to go to a game for my unv experience class and I figured if I’m going to go then I better go all out because why are these games literal fashion shows. And like I’m a pink girlie and me and orange DO NOT vibe together.

How to style an African Print clothing
HARARE – Ever since I decided to put African Print clothing as the headline item in my shop I have a lot of mixed feelings about how clients feel about it. I would say a certain generation and group within generations think of it as a backward, Old Nollywood attire. Continue reading How to style an African Print clothing

"Tapada limeña" (19th Century) by Francisco Fierro (1807-1879), Peruvian painter.
Digital Download on Pittoresko
Tapada limeña (means "Liman [fem.] covered one") was the denomination used at the time of the Viceroyalty of Peru and the first years of the Republic to designate the women in Lima who covered their heads and faces with comfortable silk, revealing just one eye.

Mythology Weekend - Naiá
The origin story of the Vitória Régia, or the giant water lily, was passed down by the indigenous Tupi-Guarani people of South America, particularly in Brazilian mythology. It is said that the moon goddess Jaci would choose her favorite young women in the village and turn them into bright, shining stars. A young girl named Naiá dreamed of becoming a star, although she would no longer be human, and desperately roamed the mountains seeking the moon. Seeing it's reflect in the water of a clear lake, she dove in to reach it and drowned. For Naiá's sacrifice, the goddess turned her into "the star of the waters", or the giant water lily.

Perez Trading: from Ecuador to Australia with love
We’re proud to partner with American Express to spotlight a group of LGBTQIA+ inclusive merchants across NSW. Perez Trading is one such business, selling Panama hats and other Latin American products to our diverse communities for over fifteen years, proudly backed by American Express.
Despite their name, Panama hats originated in Ecuador, where they have been made for hundreds of years. They’re also called Ecuadorian hats, jipijapa hats and toquilla straw hats.
But whatever their name, one thing’s for sure: Perez Trading is the best place in Sydney, if not Australia, to buy them.
Founded by Ecuadorian-Australian entrepreneur Edwin Perez, Perez Trading specialises in the importation and promotion of high-quality, handmade Panama hats.
“We are proud to have consolidated the presence of the Panama hat on the streets of Sydney for over 15 years,” Edwin tells QNews.
Panama hats are also called Ecuadorian hats, jipijapa hats and toquilla straw hats. Photo: supplied.
While Panama hats arguably first found fame in Australia via American films during the ‘Golden Age of Hollywood’, Edwin explains that authentic Panama hats come only from Ecuador.
“Genuine Panama hats are and have always been made in Ecuador,” he says.
“The reason for their name dates back to the late 1800s when Ecuadorian artisans travelled to the Panama Canal to sell their valuable products, due to the disadvantage of the geographical location of Ecuador and the strategic location of Panama.”
While their roots lie firmly in Ecuador, Panama hats have made a big impact on the fashion scene in Australia, where they resonate strongly with the lifestyle and climate.
But not all Panama hats are created equal.
“Looking at the fashion retail industry, we noticed that most of the market is flooded with factory-made products,” says Edwin.
“We also note that handmade products can be very expensive.
“Our strategy of dealing directly with the artisans and being a small family business has allowed us to create a business case that is ethical for our artisans, which can be offered to our customers at a reasonable price.”

Perez Trading is also keen to ensure their products meet local needs.
“We have developed a line of styles and curated them to suit the Australian audience, finding great acceptance and demand thus far.”
The LGBTQIA+ community is an important part of that customer base, with Edwin telling QNews: “Our business is focused on inclusion and equality. We believe that a better society is one where we eliminate stereotypes and offer equal opportunity to everyone without prejudice.”
He cites “equality, fairness, inclusion” as the values underpinning Perez Trading and says the business has exciting plans for further growth.
“We work directly with highly skilled artisans to help maintain alive this centuries old tradition and continuously find ways to innovate and improve our products.”
The business has also branched out into other hat styles, as well as alpaca blankets, alpaca wool scarves, beanies, capes, jackets and ponchos.
“As we continue to grow, our range has expanded to include felt hats and we look forward to bringing to Australia the best products Ecuador and the rest of Latin America can offer,” says Edwin.
In addition to Panama hats, Perez Trading sells alpaca wool blankets and scarves, beanies, capes, felt hats, jackets and ponchos. Photo: supplied.
Perez Trading’s products can be found at markets around Sydney. These include the Mosman Market, where they trade on the first Saturday of each month, and EQ Markets Moore Park, where they’re found on the second Saturday every month.
They also sell their wares at events such as the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Customers from around Australia can purchase products securely via Perez Trading’s online store.
Check out the full range of Perez Trading’s offerings at pereztrading.com.au.
