“yeah but ur not ASIAN asian” people say, not knowing that nepal is a country & not part of india, and that india is not its own thing, and brown skinned people in asia are ASIAN

so basically i was in the car yesterday with my bsf (we’re both nepali) and we’re talking about how like, SO MANY people are like ‘oh ur nepali? isn’t that in india?’ and NO?? ITS NOT?? and then whenever we try to explain we’re asian (EVEN TO ASIAN PEOPLE), people are like ‘well, you’re not ASIAN asian’ and i’m like ‘but we are?? nepal is in asia??”

so yknow

i guess all the brown skinned people in asia just ‘aren’t asian’

we’re all just our own little thing

on a little island called india

cause APPARENTLY india is the only brown skinned country EVER 🙄
