Kingdom Hearts 3 - The Caribbean

#kingdom hearts 3 #kh3 #the caribbean #scenery #my gif #my favorite world in the game #it's so beautifully crafted and fun to explore #they did such a good job with port royal i'm no expert on the movies but i'm sure it's a super faithful recreation #there are so many lush islands to find with caves full of treasure. it's like a real pirate adventure #i'm glad that we're able to dive into the water because i really like underwater scenery and being able to freely swim around #i love sora's pirate outfit and that he gets a ship of his own to sail. he has such a blast in this world #the banter between sora donald goofy and jack while on the ship is a lot of fun too #big fan of how they integrated the organization's search for the black box with the chest that contains davy jones's heart #gotta love when the main story ties into the plot of a disney movie #the final cutscenes in this world are insane and so well rendered that they're almost indistinguishable from the movie #i sent screenshots to friends asking if they could tell the difference and they couldn't #not that i'm complaining because it really elevated the experience but why did they go so hard

I just rewatched the episode where Charlie dies and I can say it with my whole CHEST that her death was completely on her. And it was crazy that the narrative and dean somehow managed to make it Sam's fault. Charlie was a GROWN ASS woman in her 30s (no less!) who decided that she'd rather run off to some no name motel to crack her stupid code than be in the safety of that weird (but cozy! but safe!) dungeon where Castiel, rowena and her were being housed by sam. All because rowena was being annoying???

I mean if the writers wanted to kill her off that bad - kill her in a plausible way? And better yet if they wanted to peg it on sam that bad I'm pretty sure they could have put their heads together and created a scene where it would have made sense to blame sam for her death.

I mean off the top of my head they could have just had the bad guys go to the stupid dungeon and kill her there. Pretty sure the stynes could have found a crack in the warding or some crap. Would have made a lot more sense to blame sam. Like rowena and cas would have held their own and poor Charlie died. That would be a 1000 times better than the nonsense that ensued in canon.

She knew the risks and she knew what she was doing.

thinking about the skittles playing dnd once a week, all meeting at barty's flat to sit around his table and throw their dice (they're all colour coordinated to fit their characters, obviously) and pandora leading them all through wild adventures, crazy fights, beautifully touching moments,,,and then barty tries to shag all the party members whenever they take long rests and most of his dialogue is flirting (usually with regulus because dorcas eldritch blasts him and evan threatens to cut his balls off, reg just flirts back)
