The new update has me so excited bc I get to play with infants. I want to make sure I have a save that is just for playing and that I go into it often so I'm not getting burnt out.

But I am also 10 weeks pregnant myself so I'm like losing my actual mind because pregnancy looks amazing in game but in real life the first trimester is trash. -10/3 would not recommend it. Chile I'm over it... now excuse me while I go to the bathroom for the 8th time in 4 hours.

I’ve had enough of glitchy games and screwed up defaults. My lack of memory for what I downloaded and when has ended in my toddlers having no hair unless I set it myself, and various pieces of missed maxis clothes and hair when I’ve downloaded. I am organising and redownloading, at last! A spreadsheet and I am naming every file myself so I can track it easily.

I'm sorry if any of my CC has broken with the latest patch. It's just that I'm too scared to change to the EA App as I have heard it screws up your game and plus I'm still waiting until most of the mods I use are updated.

I'm just not feeling it with TS4 anymore, but I'd love to make some cool threads for the infants! 🍼

S1+2 Jon had me doomed from the start because I specifically have a thing for very composed reserved people losing their composure.

Jon loosening his tie and leaning his head back in his desk chair, exhausted still in the archive at midnight. Jon sliding his hand under his glasses to rub his eyes with an exasperated sigh after a rough statement.

So tightly wound that he’s ready to snap at any moment and all it takes is the tiniest things. Getting heated with Tim who grabs the front of his shirt and suddenly mr high and mighty has no words left. Demanding Elias to take their safety seriously and getting in his face about it for the first time, before freezing realizing Elias is just smirking in response. Martin lightly placing his hand on Jons shoulder just to check in and Jon dramatically jolts in surprise locking eyes with him with an expression that isn’t exactly annoyance for once (Martin will be thinking about this for months).

It’s nothing to do with actually finding his coworkers/employees/boss attractive, it’s just a desperate need for some kind of stress relief. So by the time someone actually comes on to him he’s a mess.

200 Word Challenge Completed

Welp, that was it, 31 days of 200 words to write over several different kinds of topics.

There was officially only one day where I wrote exactly 200 words, every other day in this month had more than 200. My final word count was 7253 words over 17 pages. Some of these may be seen again in the future and expanded upon. Some were inspired by TAC characters others were just random things that popped into my head.

It was fun and honestly, I enjoyed just writing and not worrying about all the ins and outs of simblr-blogging. I'm not stopping my simblr picture taking, YET... but this had me thinking about it. With all the little annoyances and changes they've made to the game, it's becoming more challenging to WANT to go in and screen.

When EA makes these bone-headed moves it feels like I might want to move to being a writeblr instead of a simblr... who knows? There maybe a day in the future where this blog becomes a writeblr inspired by sims 4 instead of a simblr who writes...

So my mom asked me for months if she could build on the sims 2 and I said yes. She gave up about an hour in lol. She’s used to building in the sims 4, and I put in the cheats that are new to me even and to her, she didn’t like the doors didn’t attach cause of the cheats that were on lol.

But hey at least she tried!

au where when martin calls jon's bluff in season 4 (? its been a while idk where exactly) about stabbing their eyes out and running away together, they go fuck you no and actually go through with it. they then go to their only other friends, their former band mates like heeyyy i just disabled myself and cant really live alone rn help 🙏 and boom somehow they restart the mechanisms. jon gets cool steampunk prosthetic eyes. they look like this.
