ANON!! thank YOU for taking the time out of your day to read the tags & send this ask! this put the biggest smile on my face i swear. they would love you i'm sure. zakhar maybe not so much (but only externally. he's a tsundere. he actually loves people very strongly and is loyal to a fault) but angel would knit you so many damn sweaters and plushies and little handmade knickknacks you wouldnt even have anywhere left to put them. and then they would knit some more... for good measure!

#tzring to loredrop in the tags... typical vale behavior#anyway on the subject of chrystler did you know the first christmas zakhar ever experienced properly was w angel's family#they all but DRAGGED him out of the apt when they figured out that when they travel to the ridge he doesnt actually *go* anywhere#or do anything to celebrate it. he would just sit there alone sleeping thru all of it if possible#he walked into that house with nothing but the clothes on his back and walked out w a new family and two christmas sweaters#and ever since then angel's been bringing him along to their family's house every time they come to visit#and there's no “but” for holidays. none at all!#z used to find angel's childlike excitement for the holidays kinda annoying in a secretly jealous way but now he enjoys it even if in a#tsundere manner. plus tbh angel has a very infectious excitement in general they are basically a 6'2" puppy#they do struggle quite a lot w depression which they often express through their art but they're the kind of person who like#is so inherently extroverted that even at their worst when they're around the right people they tend to perk up quite a bit#out of seemingly nowhere LOL#z is the opposite. he has 2 people he can be around no matter what (angel and kaya) but when he's down he's DOWN. mentally gone for weeks
