i hit 1k followers recently!!!! yipee!!!!!!! thank you all!!! so in celebration here’s all of my completed isat doodle pages, from oldest to newest. go nuts with them!! and maybe don’t look at the first doodle page too closely. it’s Old.

ok but seriously, thank you all so much for all the support. i never really. expected to make it this far? like, ever?? i’ve mentioned it a few times on here, but i’ve been a lurker for the past… 2 years, i think? and even before that, i never gained much traction outside of a couple posts. so this has been. very new to me!! in a nice way!! it’s weird to feel like an actual member of a community!! that people know about!

the idea of finally coming back to social media was Daunting (i literally got stress hives writing my first post lol) and the warm reception really. meant a lot?? i don’t think i would’ve ever gotten the courage to come back if i hadn’t been encouraged to by the people over at the isat discord!!

the fact that people actually care about my art still doesn’t feel real?? seeing people take inspiration from my art is just. surreal. just. auagssh. thank you all so so much for everything, i really do appreciate it!!! i’m really glad to be in this community. sorry if this all sounds sappy and long winded i’ve just got a lot of emotions about this whole thing!!

i will always shout praises of bi4bi but given recent discourse I feel the need to say that I love bi4het too! I just love bisexuality in general in its many forms, and anyone who only likes it when it's 'queer enough' for them is biphobic. Bisexuals should be able to bring their LaMe CiShEt BoYfRiEnD to pride without being made to feel like spectators and outsiders to their own event.

do you ever think about how fucked up it is that Hera is the one constantly under threat of memory wipe obliviation, and yet, in the end, it's Eiffel who loses everything.

Memory loss still haunts Hera's life, even as she herself escaped it. She keeps the memories but loses the relationship she built in them.

i do... i think about it... honestly, this is one of the reasons why i feel like eiffel's sacrifice is still ultimately... kind of selfish? i don't say that to disparage him. it is a sacrifice, and it's brave, and i don't know if anything else could've reasonably been done. he made a choice. but hera is the one who had to pull the trigger, who had to inflict her own worst fear on the person closest to her - who has to live with that, and wonder what he was going to say to her, and wonder "what if?"

when the dust settles a little, i think she's going to be angry at him for that. and she's going to feel guilty, because he did what he had to do, and it's not like he can even remember making the call. but i think it will be something they'll have to work through.

i've said this before, but i think the wolf 359 finale has a powerful statement about identity: eiffel is form without memory, hera is memory without form, lovelace has both but without continuity of experience, and minkowski has all of that - but she's still not the same person she was at the start. all of them both are and aren't the same people, because that's what it means to be a person.

(and all of that's part of why i think eiffel regaining his memory would be a narratively consistent choice: it's all part of the same pattern of him trying to escape himself & learning to live with himself.)

i also think the way eiffel's mind & memory is treated very... mechanically in the finale, at the same time that hera is represented at her most natural / physical, is a really compelling equalizer as a way to present those questions of humanity / memory / autonomy.

and we know that theology / spirituality / the self are topics that hera gravitates towards; i imagine that post-canon she will be thinking a lot about the nature of the soul, especially if eiffel is (as i believe he is) still fundamentally "eiffel" even without his memories. if the self isn't stored in memory, if memory is the part where "you" come in, the result of the interaction between "you" and the external world, then what part is "you"? she's going to think about it.

This ask has haunted my ask box for 3 days. Circlet arc??? CIRCLET ARC???? THAT WOULD BE TERRIBLE AND SO SO SO GOOD.

I have no idea if it would actually happen in show, but I have a feeling MK is at the very least going to have an "anti-circlet" arc. Go with me for a moment:

So, we know MK's bandana parallels Wukong's phoenix feathers in design, right?

MK with the two ends of his bandana and Wukong with the two feathers coming out of his cap.

However, MK's bandana is ALSO a parallel to Wukong's circlet:

And MK was given this bandana by Pigsy (presumably):

This is basically a long winded way to say that MK has already been "crowned", in a sense. Unlike Wukong, MK never needed to be controlled in the same way his mentor did at the beginning of his journey. MK, instead, was given morals and love by our wonderful Dadsy from a young age, which effectively functioned as a "circlet", if that makes sense.

So, the bandana, a symbol of both who he is/was raised to be and the crown, is already his circlet. As MK is now, he doesn't need a circlet to exert control over him because of who he is—a good kid who is trying his best to make the right choices.

But, you know, there was that really scary scene that one time where MK didn't exactly feel like MK and he kind of went off the rails...and...WHAT IS THAT

HIS BANDANA WAS DAMAGED BY HIMSELF IN AN EPISODE TITLED "Rip and Tear" !!?!??!?!?

SO.

Say MK were to rip his own bandana off, symbolically showing his complete decent into his "harbinger of chaos" role...that would mean another crown would have to go on to replace it, right?

Whether MK get's crowned symbolically with another bandana or an ACTUAL circlet remains to be seen, but the potential is definitely there! And I'm normal about it

curious what you mean by don quixote, hong lu, and ryoushuu's promos? I vaguely remember them and I definitely think there's some elements that. Need to be talked about, but I don't want to miscontrue what you're trying to say about them.

I'm just very intrested in Don's because of how she reacts in it. On the actual limbus company site she has delusions of grandeur in hers (under particulars) and I really think that we'll eventually see how shee sees the city and the justice she wants vs how the city actually functions

For Hong Lu and Ryoshu they escape me both because I haven't read their source materials and because (moreso with hong lu) they're hiding themselves (ryoshu has her shure nice to meet you pun at the end of her promo vs Ishmael having something lore related in hers)

I can guess more about Ryōshū due to knowing the general plot of hell screen but can't say a lot on Hong Lu due to not fully getting tye plot of Dotrc (that and due to reading leviathan I can at least guess her beef with the fingers and how she sees art)

(For other sinners context rodion talks about wishing to undo things as easily as you can earn back lost money and how she just wanted everyone to feel some warmth, and outis talks about her oddest and how despite needing to go back she hasn't been able to take one step)
