except for when he’s arguing with you. his cheeks are flushed, his eyes are staring into yours with this electric intensity it’s a wonder that you’re still standing, his hands are clenched. he’s obviously irritated with you, and it’s obvious you not only take joy in getting him riled up, but that he’s getting on your last nerve too. as the two of you exchange insults in this very public corridor on a sunny tuesday afternoon, the people who are passing by can’t help but notice that this is the first time he’s ever looked so alive.
