I unfortunately picked up Bravely Default 2 again (I bought it back when it released) and then started over since I last played it in June 2021. And. You know what. I like these silly beans. And then I saw concept art for Dag's expressions and I am not the same. Why did they decide to give him huge fangs in it.

First Glance (Part Four)

The moment the both of you landed on Tatooine, you were hit by the air-thinning heat and seemingly endless sand. Well, at least now you know why Anakin hates sand. As you both hop out, Anakin leads you into the tiny hut of his house.

Following him, you can see a droid, one that was very obviously unfinished; loose wires, no plates and a very bad paint job, as the droid was a charcoal black. "Oh! Hello there! I'm C-3PO human-cyborg relations." The droid speaks in a sort of Victorian way. Anakin smiles at the droid. "Nice to see you, again." It takes the droid a moment to realize. "Master Ani! It has been so long!" 3PO cries out happily. "Who is this?" The droid inquires, turning slightly to you. "A friend of mine. A close one." You turn to 3PO, smiling warmly. "I'm Y\N. A padawan."

"A padawan? Hello!" Anakin walks into the doorframe, holding your hand to lead you through. "What is it now?" A voice grumbled frustratingly, only to see a man in a wheelchair, no more than fifty, wheeling his chair to the entryway, where you and Anakin stand. "What are- Anakin?" The man questions. "Lars, is that your name?" Anakin says, huffing slightly. "Uh yes. Are you Anakin Skywalker?" The man queried once more. "Yes." Anakin answered simply. "Oh. I've heard of you." He wheels his chair back more and more into the kitchen, looking over his shoulder before gazing back at you both.

"I've come here for my mother, where is she?" Just as Anakin had asked the burning question he had spent nights wondering of, a woman walked in, a woman with sandy blonde hair and blue eyes. "Cliegg, I-" She stopped short and the sight of you and Anakin, two Jedi trainee's. "Anakin, this is my wife, Aika. Aika, this is Shmi's son, Anakin." Aika nodded slightly, walking closer to her husband. "Hello." She greets softly. Anakin nods and then studies Cliegg once more.

"Where is my mom? And why are you talking about her like that?" Anakin demands, his tone rising slowly. You place a hand on his shoulder, attempting to calm him down. "You'd better sit down." Warns Cliegg, motioning to the couple of chairs in front of him. Sitting down directly next to each other, Anakin's eyes, now a piercing blue, stared down Cliegg, sort of like a prey. "When Watto sold your mother, I bought her. We fell in love and got married, and one night, once I was sleeping, Shmi was stolen, taken. I looked and looked and looked, and couldn't find anything, and with my leg and the fact these people could be anywhere, Anakin, I-" Cliegg was interrupted by Anakin's now booming voice. "By who?!"

Aika flinched and gripped Cliegg's shoulder, her eyes darting from Anakin to yours, her blue eyes frightened and startled. Cliegg takes a moment to answer. "The sandpeople." Anakin grits his teeth. You look at Cliegg for a second, "How long has it been since Shmi was taken?" Cliegg takes a sharp breath. "Months." Anakin let's out a low scoff and then heads outside, you take a moment before following him.

Catching up to him, you grasp his hand in yours, and he lets out a low sigh, visibly relaxing. "I don't understand... what would they want with her?" Anakin questions softly, taking you into an embrace. "I don't know." You say in response just as gently. "I have to find her." He announces to you, the determination in his voice evident. "What? Anakin, don't." He breaks away from the hug. "Why not? I don't have the right to find my own mother? To know what happened to her?" His voice cracks slightly, hiding his rage.

"Of course you do! But, what if she doesn't want you to know?" You argue, voice rising as well. "Why wouldn't she want me to?! She is MY mother! You don't even know her." He practically shouts at you, you close your mouth and lean back, completely silent. He sighs audibly and then turns away, running his hands through his hair. You, completely silent, just walks away, back inside. Anakin takes a moment to compose himself, but instead of apologizing, he makes an impulsive decision.

Checking to see if his lightsaber was still on his hip, he hops into his speeder and then zooms away. Hearing the noise, you run to see what it was, at the sight of Anakin zooming away, the feeling brings a strange sense of hurt. What was the point? Of coming here? If Anakin was just going to zoom off from you, as if you had a disease or something?

This is a bit silly but fjskck how would the ROs (in the crushing stage for extra drama lmao) react if they're in a position where they and MC accidentally hold hands? Like, taking their hand so they don't lose each other in a crowded place, or worryingly dragging them out of a confrontation? And even after all is over, MC still holds onto their hand subconsciously without realizing it?

jinwol would have to work up a lot courage to even grab the mc like that in the first place. he’d be so focused on touching the mc in the first place he wouldn’t realize they were still holding on HAHAHA it’d only register after they let go. he’d subconsciously flex his hand a few times because he can still feel the ~warmth lingering~

yul would lace your fingers together and be really obvious about it. they’re very physically affectionate with the mc (or they try to be) so i don’t think it’d be a huge event for them. they’d just enjoy it as a private little moment!

iseul wouldn’t notice at first but when she does she starts panicking and thinking about things like “what if they can feel my pulse??? am i sweating??? i think my palms are really sweaty????” once two of you let go, i feel like she’d instinctually grab the mc again. cue an emotionally charged moment where you’re both staring at each other in silence, hand-in-hand.

??? would let go first. very much a NOPE NO NUH-UH for them. their job is done here. they absolutely don’t want to hold your hand again. (if they repeat it to themself enough maybe it’ll become true.)

Welcome to the finale of Geneva Island!

Tonight, we will see all the islanders who graced the Villa this season together under one roof to watch and celebrate the ceremony. We will also get to listen to the testimonies of the final 6 islanders as they share their feelings about their experiences of finding love. Finally, we will be announcing the winning couple!

This season, we gave the islanders full autonomy to discover unique connections, reveal true intentions, and with any luck, find the love of their lives. Unfortunately, not everyone found what they were looking for while they were having fun in the sun, and a few sims like Elliott, Bleu, and Samora didn’t make any meaningful romantic connections at all. Sophie and Sean both created a lot of drama around the villa, between themselves and the other islanders equally, and Blakes found himself caught in the middle of a love triangle before they were all sent packing.

And now, our finalists who dove deep into the experience, trying their hand at finding love through all the drama, temptation, and emotions. Autumn was one of the first girls to arrive at the villa, and she went through a lot of drama to get where she is today, which is with Darion, who hasn’t been here for long, but has found a deep meaningful connection with her.

Judi was our second islander to arrive, followed shortly after by Rowan who arrived on day one. Together, they navigated harsh emotions, dealt with commitment issues, and reconnected several times to get where they are today. Regardless of whether or not they win today, they will be moving in with each other and Autumn following the show.

Neither Jasmine nor Justin arrived at the villa on day one, but both came in later on, well into the unfolding drama. Jasmine arrived first and shook the villa, being part of the first and only official Geneva Island relationship, which quickly deteriorated once Justin arrived. They have been working through their tumultuous relationship ever since.

YES YEAH YOU GET IT !!!! and (quite recently rewatched it and mentioning it here cause i can't believe i forgot to mention it in the post you're talking about) it really gets me that gwen also says 'i was doing both' in regards to protecting miles and protecting the canon event, and i love that the phrase was reflected like that, even tho (at this point of the movie) miles and gwen pretty much oppose each other in views/priority !!

it also absolutely kills me the way that gwen begins (like you say) atsv quitting the band and isolates herself, and then throughout the whole thing she finds something/someone that she wants to take that leap for, all over again :') she (and the entire spider-team!!) is willing to bet everything on miles and is ready to fight for him, and i really just love the idea that miles just is a force that inspires good !!!! IT REALLY IS ALL ABOUT LOVE!!!

   so while Luffy currently stands watch over the Sunny, Bellamy has earned the privilege of standing watch over Luffy — even after the captain’s petulant protests of not being a baby. the company is still appreciated though, because if there’s one thing known about the young raven-haired man, it’s that even more so than being bored, he hates being bored and alone.

   yes, to everyone’s benefit, leaving their captain with a sitter ensured his entertainment. it ensured that Luffy would not launch into the thicket of trees that lined the island’s beach ( leaving them with uncertainty on when he would return or be otherwise found ). at least, that’s what it made certain of most of the time. but above all, as someone who could hardly remain upset around others for long, having Bellamy there helped to quickly shift a sour mood.

    ❝ eheehee~ yeah! i bet i could make my legs all curly too! ❞ finally, the shorter of the two seems to perk up, features morphing from the less energetic pout he wore and back to an all-too-familiar toothy grin.

    ❝ but hey! don’t forget, you’re a straw hat now too!! ❞ he transitions to a squat-like stance, the palms of worn, scarred hands propped on top of bent knees. his weight shifts a few times���front-to-back, side-to-side—testing the spring in his own rubbery step. but as he suddenly and without warning jumps up, it’s not only his legs that aid in the captain’s skyward travel. a loud, hearty cackle bursts from within his chest as rubberband arms shoot up until fingers curl over the crow’s nest edge. and like a loaded spring, eager to release restrained energy, arms snap him upward as he beams.

It's kinda hard for me to define guilty pleasure in fics lol -- I've trained myself to go into the experience with no shame! However, I will say that in writing fics I use way more adverbs and commas than anyone should. Because I wanna. And that one is surely a guilty pleasure 😂

M: What's the weirdest AU scenario you've ever come up with? Did it turn into a story?

Oh my GOSH lmao it's so weird

When I first began making AUs for Din in my head, before I'd even begun to write anything for an online audience, I came up with the funniest and most self-indulgent story called Higher Love. It was an AU where Karga owned a huge manufacturing plant on Nevarro and let Mando secretly repair the Crest in the back, and reader was the receptionist that slowly got him to talk to them. Eventually there was a dance competition involved. Of course Karga makes Din do it and reader's his assigned partner. Lots of work breaks spent in the super cool futuristic hangar with warping pipes, or dance rehearsals at reader's apartment that bled into dinner and they would eat in separate rooms while being on the comm. Moff Gideon finding out Grogu was hiding there too and CHAOS ensuing. DURING THE DANCE COMPETITION. It was wild.

None of it was ever written down, but I still remember all of it. I used to just play it through in my head and it's just so bonkers to me now.

However, elements of this tale live on in OLAT, Latch, and Corporal! And now that I think about it, I don't think any of them would exist without this initial idea/inspiration. So I owe my weird-ass brain a lot! 💖
