Recently I have been thinking about what could have happened to Midoriya's All Might card and I have came to the conclusion that he done already had it encased and safely tucked away somewhere because YOU KNOW FOR A FACT HE DID!!

Which brings me to this continuing thought that when Bakugou got his card signed, Midoriya was like "be right back" and just brought out the card to also be signed and while All Might is in tears that two of his biggest fans who were also his students and kids he came to care about a bunch wanted him to sign the cards, Bakugou is like "you kept the card".

And with the most serious face, Midoriya just says "Kacchan, you should know by now that I don't joke around when it comes to my merch collection. It's my All Might card that I got with you. Of course, I kept the card"!

There are so many better and more accurate ways to make fun of Orlok. I mean, he's a massive simp, he lives with 5000 rats, he's literally rotting but he's got a 10-step moustache care routine, he had to learn to cook to feed Thomas, etc etc. There's no need to make shit up, he's a mess as it is

The Dracula shit is even more annoying tbh because the only reason Dracula is even interested in Mina in the 1992 film is BECAUSE OF ORLOK in the first place. It's a derivation of Murnau's 1922 Nosferatu, that is the first time a romantic fixation was introduced to a Dracula adaptation, and everyone that came after was just using that concept because it proved to be very compelling. Orlok is the literal origin of this romance trope

Like, at first glance you might think he's just taunting Sol about them meeting in the apothecary shop, but it doesn't make sense, really. Because why would Qimir bring attention to that first meeting since he's trying to hide his identity?

No, I think Sol has seen him before in a similar outfit, maybe even this very one, a long time ago. Or as Qimir says it, "a really long time ago."

We know that Vernestra was Qimir's master when he was a padawan, and she struck him down in a rather violent manner, and believed him to be dead because of it.

We know that Vernestra was already a master when Sol was a youngling. And yet Sol doesn't recognize Qimir's face in the beginning, so that basically rules out them being younglings/padawans together. My guess is that whatever happened between Qimir and Vernestra, it happened when Sol was just a small boy, a youngling fresh at the Jedi Temple. Maybe Qimir had already deflected and came back, maybe he tried to hurt the younglings (although his reluctance to strike down Jecki makes me think this is unlikely), I don't know. But whatever he did probably led Vernestra to try and kill him, and I think maybe Sol saw it happen.

Qimir certainly seems to think he should remember him. Maybe Vernestra erased Sol's memories of the event, and that's why he seems to sense something but can't quite place it.

I don't know, but yeah this is one of those little nuggets of backstory that drive me insane with the possibilities!!!

I do not think evangelizing on the double standard of women being expected to wear makeup everyday to grown women is actually productive or respectful (provided they are not judging me for not wearing makeup), we can all make our own decisions on how to walk through this world, however, it is true that whenever a woman in my daily life equates making themselves decent and presentable with having a coat of natural makeup on, I do have to viscerally repress the urge to shake them by the shoulders and scream that they've been had.

i'm sorry i can't shut up about Beaux and Lucanis and Spite, but i'm basically always thinking about them.

I'm still in Act 1 with Beaux, so we're not even close to romancing yet, but I'm just thinking about Lucanis kissing them for the first time, and there's something tender and soft about it that Beaux wasn't expecting because Lucanis is just. Overcome with the feeling that he can have this. That he can be cared for and touched tenderly and wanted without pain and blood being a part of it. That someone like Beaux, someone shining and good and kind, would want him after everything. And Beaux swoons because he's been wanting to kiss Lucanis basically since that first coffee meeting in Treviso, and it was definitely worth the wait.

And then Spite takes over.

And it's fingers in Beaux's hair, pulling their head back to just the right angle, kissing them with so much intensity that it makes Beaux's head swim. It's teeth and tongue, and Beaux definitely moans into it.

Then Spite bites their bottom lip, hard enough that Beaux's going to feel it, just on the edge of drawing blood, and there's that thrilling purr in his voice when he says, "Mine. Ours."

Beaux's so fucked.

I keep getting vaguely bummed out about TOTK which is so annoying bc I don't even dislike the game?? I'm genuinely having a blast with it. But also all the overarching but cohesive themes and meta storytelling about the reincarnation cycle and its consequences and the tragically beautiful world in BOTW?? Like what happened to all that?? That was what made me so mentally ill (/aff) in the first place!!
