I had forgotten that this omake existed (ep 147), but this has to be the Hitsugaya Special Edition, right? This is the 18-page photo album, with outtakes, no? The timing is wiggly, because this obviously happens at the end of the Advance Team Arc, but the Special Edition was clearly already in the works when Hisagi delivered Ukitake his Post-Ryouka Invasion Special Issue (is any issue of the Bulletin not a special issue?) They couldn't possibly have published two Captain Hitsugaya specials in a row, could they? (It's the Bulletin, they very well could have)

Anyway, I am still obsessed with the idea that this was published sometime during the actual Winter War and Hitsugaya never actually saw it, but for a brief period was, like, the Louis Tomlinson of Soul Society and was entirely unaware of it.

not like a big deal or anything, but I strange way I see jimmy being characterized, is still being in love with Tango. And like Scott too, but that is less common. And like I get the appeal of it (Ranchers 4 life), but it always seems very out of character, to me at least.

Because the thing is, Jimmy is very moved on from Scott and Tango, hell even from southernlanders and The Bad Boys. It’s his thing, he shakes off these old lives and relationships very easily, maybe the most easiest of everyone in the series. In a world of people never leaving the desert, or dogwarts, jimmy has escaped them all Scott free( get it ?). And he doesn’t look back ever.

A canon interpretation of this is because jimmys always out first, he never has to watch his allies die, or his base blown up, he gets to get out before things get messy, he’s the canary the warning of bad things to come. But because of this he’s never had to deal with the grief or sadness that comes with surviving. He’s never had to bury someone or deal with finding replacement allies, he’s free from all that.

And so it’s easy for him to move on, but his allies don’t, they don’t have that luxury. They try to get him back, or try to team with him again, but it’s never the same and the result is always the same. The canary doesn’t hold on to anything, be that hate or love

aerys is tyrion's dad? the full abuse and horror of the intergenerational incest is manifested through tyrion, both in his physical deformities and in the way he’s ostracized by society and made into the 'monster' he's been labeled as since birth. tywin could never admit he was cucked by aerys due to his pride, but takes out his resentment on tyrion. tyrion being one of the last surviving targaryens and riding a dragon eventually, which was foreshadowed all the way back in the beginning of agot. i love

aerys is cersei and jaime's dad? the twins who appear almost otherwordly in their beauty, but who conceal the deep rot of house targaryen in their grotesque affair. even their mother can't bear looking at them. the fact that tyrion is tywin's only trueborn son only intensifies his hatred of him. tyrion being the only 'true' heir of house lannister, despite his supposed flaws which his father hated. i lovvve

it's really ironic seeing hayley kiyoko on everyone's list of "artists who did chappell roan first/better than chappell roan" because when hayley kiyoko was up-and-coming people said the exact same things about her: her music is generic and overdone, nothing she stands for is revolutionary, her fans inflate her importance, etc. but now that you want to shit on another lesbian artist, suddenly hayley kiyoko is a cultural touchstone.... okay!
