Maybe I have a high empathy response, maybe I just have a touch of the tism (my partner thinks so) but I could never have those fur real friends toys when I was a kid. I hated them. I hated toy animals that made noise bc they made me feel guilty for putting them away. I also hate virtual pet games. The thought of one day abandoning them after hours of caring for them makes me sick. I could never have webkinz. I still get uncomfortable around animatronic toy animals. I still won’t touch pet sims or virtual pets. I’ll feel bad having a dog companion in games bc I don’t want it to get hurt. I can’t do it.

my cniki art i think is my favorite way to see how much i’ve grown both as an artist and like. as a dsmp enjoyer. for one because i’ve been drawing her so much and so consistently especially recently i can see how ever part of my art is changing and developing through my designs for her but also. the ways that i draw her so clearly allows me to see how much more i understand about her character. i draw her with so much less fire now and a lot more devastation and i think that means something
