HII I REALLY LOVE YOUR WORK SO MUCH, i hope your willing to write about pregnant reader x thanos yk, thanos didn't know she was pregnant before they break up and then they meet up again the games and he finds out player 222 and player 333 type stuff 😭
Of course! We love this!!
Good person - Choi Su- Bong x pregnant! reader
Summary: After leaving Thanos, you encounter him again in a serious death game, only this time the stakes are lot higher
Warnings: Not much, just your usual squid game gore
A/n: Sorry it's so short! I'm going to try and start adding some length to my stories again especially my Thanos stories so stay tuned for those longer stories, trust me they are coming, they're just takin a lil time
You had told yourself whenever you signed up, you'd be as careful as possible, and that it was all for your baby, after leaving their father and being disowned for choosing to be single mother, you were left with little to nothing, so of course you took the chance to get money.
As you woke up in the giant room you soon came to regret your decision, seeing your sperm donor just a few feet in front of you, focused on the screen reading off debts "Y/n L/n, 25 million won" The guard shouted, showing you getting smacked across the face, quickly holding an arm over your stomach afterwards. Almost like he knew, as soon as your name was called out, his head snapped to yours "Senorita! You're here!?" He shouted in shock "No Way!" He shouted as he walked closer, you attempted to curl your body up away from him, but due to the six month pregnancy belly, you could only bend your legs closer to you slightly.
"Please leave, Thanos" You grunted, trying your best to keep him at a distance, for all he knew you had taken a plan B after your last hook up and that was it. Instead he just kept approaching until he was standing in front of you "What're you doing here!?" He asked excited, you just shook your head "trying to get my family and I money after my sorry excuse of a boyfriend convinced me to buy stupid ass crypto?" You said like it was obvious, it wasn't like you were entirely lying, you just didn't specify what family.
Going into red light green light, you were cocky at first, knowing you could do this easy, until the shooting started, players falling left and right, while your baby dad just skipped and danced his way to you down the field "You never answered me, Senorita" He repeated, placing his hands on your hips, terrified of what he might do, especially after watching him shove other players to win "I-I'm pregnant" You blurted, you couldn't help it, between your fear of dying by Thanos or the game was too much, you just wanted to get out of this alive, you didn't think it'd be this serious, if you did, you never would've done this. "Haha" He laughed sarcastically before looking at your face as the doll called out red light, he was in front of you now, and you were visibly shaking, Thanos using his body to try and shield you from the sensors "for real, flower?" He asked, his tone a lot more deep and raspy, you could tell he sobered up quick upon the realization you weren't joking. "I-I forgot the pill after hooked up a few months ago! a-and I left because I knew you couldn't be a responsible dad" You blurted, unable to contain your emotions as the hormones in your body were on overdrive.
Thanos was frozen, staring at you in shock before finally snapping out of it as the doll called green light, he grabbed your arm holding you behind him as he followed the others past the red line "Just stay behind me" He whispered, your words stung, how could you be so sure of how he'd be as a dad if you never gave him a chance? As you made your way back to the giant main room, you took notice to Thanos's hand on your back leading you to the bed "Sit, you don't put yourself through too much" He explained softly, helping you over to your bunks before eyeing Nam-Gyu "Give her your bed, man" he demanded, his friend stuttering before giving up and giving you his bed that was floor level, him taking your third bunk bed. "Thanos" You warned, not wanting him to make it a huge deal "What?! You're huge! You don't need to be climbing!" He shouted before catching his tone, apologizing quietly "Okay, well One, that was very very rude, two, I can do whatever I please, if I feel like I can't do something, I'll tell you" You stated poking him in the chest with your finger, he just smirked at you, biting his bottom lip slightly "Have I ever told you, it's hot whenever you yell at me" he asked, trying his best to charm you, but instead you just flicked his forehead in annoyance "Get away, freak" You replied, he just smiled at you, sitting at the foot of your bunk "So it's my baby?" He asked smiling pointing to your stomach "Well, if not I'd be concerned" You said raising your eyebrows at him "Can I..touch it?.." He asked nervously "it's not an it, it's your daughter" you glared, before grabbing his hand slipping it under your jacket, pressing his finger down in just the right spot to get the small baby inside of you to move around "Woah..weird" He said grimacing as he pulled away in disgust "Really!?" You gasped in shock laughing loudly, somehow forgetting you were in a death game for a moment "Yea! You have a whole human inside of you! That's weird!" He laughed, resting his hand on yours "You put it there, Su-bong!" You argued, you swore sometimes you got with a completely dumbass.
"Y/n..If you'll let me...I wanna be there..I don't want to be like my dad" He frowned, squeezing your hand gently "Please?" He begged "I know I fucked up bad, but, I want to try again, please" He continued, you glared at him for a moment before sighing "How can I trust you? And you'll have to get clean, for real clean, not how you're usually clean" You added on, you just watched as he nodded his head, no faces or complaints "You're actually serious aren't you?..." you asked sweetly "I want to be a good person for you, y/n, please" He whispered, pressing his lips to your knuckles "I guess..but you only get one chance" You offered, he just nodded before flopping himself next to you "Thank you!" He cheered pressing multiple kisses all over your face as he chanted his thank you's, not realizing the next 18-19 years were going to be hell for the both of you.
The rest of the games, Thanos was always on you, making sure you didn't over do yourself or risk hurting yourself or your baby, charming you right back into his arms.

cws & notes. reader is kind of insecure. akaashi keiji x gn!reader. established relationship. slight angst. 600+ words. idk where this came from but enjoy?
“Do you think you’ll get sick of me, one day?”
You regret the words as soon as they leave your lips. In your head, it sounded like a perfectly sound question, but with the way Keiji is looking at you, it’s clear he doesn’t agree.
“I beg your pardon, dear?” His voice is painfully soft, brows furrowing in concern as he places his book down on the coffee table. Under his gentle gaze, you feel stripped bare, exposed in all your insecurity. You should have swallowed the question down, as sharp as it felt in your throat, anything to avoid the way he’s staring at you now.
“Nevermind,” You say quickly, snatching the TV remote from the table, and busying yourself with choosing a show. The screen flicks between channels, flashing brightly coloured lights across your faces. “That was a dumb question. I’m sorry, just forget it.”
“My love,” Keiji reached out a hand, lightly brushing the side of your face. With a gentle, but firm grip, he grasped your chin and tilted your head to the side to face him. “[Name]. Why are you asking me that?”
“No reason. Don’t worry about it.” You try to laugh it off, but you can only choke out a quiet sob. Somehow, somewhere between asking the question and now, your eyes started burning, glazing over with unshed tears.
Damn. He’s looking even more concerned now. Why couldn’t you have just kept it to yourself, tucking those doubts far into the dusty corners of your head, where his ears would never reach them?
“Hey,” Keiji brushed his thumb under your eyes, wiping away a stray tear that falls. “You’re getting me worried now. Are you okay? What happened?”
There was a long pause, and something inside you cracks. You let out a sniffle, then a gasp, then the last piece of your self-control breaks, in a mess of tears and snot. Keiji’s face crumples, and he tugs you forward into his chest, rubbing your back soothingly as you continue to cry.
“Did I do something?” He presses. “Am I not treating you the way you want to be treated? I’m sorry if I’ve hurt you, but please tell me what I did–”
“No!” You quickly say, regaining your composure slightly. He’s never done anything, never hurt you, intentionally, or unintentionally, never said the wrong words, never made you feel unloved. That was the problem. Because nothing gold shines forever, and every good thing comes to an end. You were just waiting for the end, the moment he decides he is done with your self-consciousness, your bad habits, your looks.
There is always a reason for someone to leave; you’ve learnt that the hard way.
“I-I don’t know,” You mumble, tracing your nail against the couch. “I just–I guess, most people do. Get sick of me, that is. And I d-don’t wanna lose you too.”
Keiji was silent for a moment, and for a moment you worry that you've ruined things. The thought lingers in your mind for only a second, because a second later there are half-a-dozen kisses being pressed to the top of your head.
“I love you,” Keiji whispers between each peck. “I love you, so, so much. I love you, and I love you, and I will say it as many times as it takes you to believe it.”
The feeling of his breath tickles your skin, making you laugh weakly.
“I'm never going to get sick of you,” He continues. “I adore you, and every part of you. No matter what happens, I'm never leaving. Okay?”
“Okay,” you whisper back.
Keiji kisses your cheek. “Good. Now, why don't you put on a movie for us to watch?”

When you marry someone else
Pairing: ot5 TXT × Gn! reader (individually)
Genre: angst, unrequited love, a bit bittersweet, reactions
Prompt: they attend your wedding, but you are the love of his life, and he is not the groom.
Warnings: no happy ending for now, reader wears a wedding dress on Yeonjun's, Kai has mentions of food, mentions of tears and crying
A/n: had this entire idea when showering, so enjoy the angst! | Daily click
Yeonjun
He is so conflicted
He is genuinely happy at the thought of you finding the love of your life, but he is sad because it's not him
He is happy when he sees you in that beautiful dress, but he is sad when he sees that you didn't dress up with him on your mind
He wants to sit down on the first row to see you closer, but he also wants to stand on the end of the room so it doesn't hurt that much
He loves you but he wished he didn't
At the party, he would try his best to avoid both you and your now husband
He wants to be there for you, but it seems unfair that he needs to watch it in so many details
He tries to distract himself from the fact that this night is all about you dedicating your life to someone else
And he tries to ignore his mind telling him that this someone else was so not worth of you
His vows seemed shallow, and it was ridiculous how he didn't cry when he saw you walking down the aisle. It outraged Yeonjun to see him talking with his friends instead of being with you
Everything that the groom did, Yeonjun knew he could do ten times better
But he was trying to ignore it. For the sake of your night
And when you come to him, handing him the bouquet, he can't help but feel defeated
"I want you to be the next one to find everlasting happiness" is what you said to him
So Yeonjun took the bouquet, hoping and praying that it actually meant something
Soobin
He genuinely thought on not going
The moment he received the invitation, he threw it away
And since he refused to talk to you ever since, you thought you'd be missing your best friend on your wedding day
But in the end, he couldn't help but to go to the ceremony
It wasn't fair on you if he missed one of the most important days of your life
Especially since you had no idea Soobin has been in love with you for decades
So he attends the wedding
And he regrets it the moment he gets there
Why were you so beautiful?
And why were you so happy?
He talks to all your friends and family members throughout the day
He is searching for any hint that your fiance doesn't deserve you
Anything that could give him a reason to stand up and object
But there is nothing
The man you fell in love with was nothing but a kind and generous person
And Soobin can't recall a day where you had smiled that much before
So he just sits down in defeat when you start to say your vows, wondering what he could've done in the past so today would've been different
Beomgyu
He is trying his best to act like your best friend
Like yes, he's so happy for you!!
He'll cry tears of joy and he'll party all night!!
He's doing his best to just be happy for you
Because that's what he's supposed to be
Happy for you, not happy with you
So he buys you the greatest gift you could ever imagine
He talks with every single person in the party
He is the first to go to the dance floor and he doesn't hesitate on playing with the kids
He is trying to be happy
And when your groom comes to him, thanking him for taking care of you until now, Beomgyu cries a bit
Especially when the groom vows that he will love and protect you from now on
He cries in the ceremony and cries even more when you hug him by the end of it
But as your best friend, he promises he'll always do his best to be happy for you
Taehyun
He won't be there
I'm so sorry, but I don't think he would be able to endure the pain
Every time he saw you guys on a date, or the photos you post, or the messages you sent with "I'm with my boyfriend right now, can we talk later?" always felt like a dagger in his heart
So to see everything come to life was not something he could do
He'll come see you a day before the wedding though
And in his plan, he would try to convince you to give up
He never liked your boyfriend anyways, he didn't feel like too good of a person
So he tries to hint on the topic
But you're so blindly in love that you don't notice
And he's so in love with you that he simply gives up
So he just smiles at your content and announces that he needs to go, that he will get some things ready for tomorrow
But he doesn't
He tells you that there was an accident on the road, that he was suddenly required on his work, or that there was a family emergency
Something happened, and he couldn't make it to your wedding
And upon seeing your smile on the photos, he's glad he didn't
Hueningkai
The moment you tell him you're getting married, he is volunteering to help you in anything and everything
He is there when you choose your clothes for the day
He finds the best florist in town
He helps you decide on the cake, on the place, on the date, everything
Because he knows this is the last time you'll be relying on him for help
From now on, your soon to be husband will be the one who is supposed to be by your side
Till death do you apart
And as much as it hurts, Kai won't let the sorrow be on the way
If he has this last opportunity to help you and be with you, that's precisely what he'll do
So when the big day ends up being more beautiful than your dreams
And both you and your now husband come to him to thank him
He can't help but smile through teary eyes, which he reassures you that it's because of happiness
Now he knows that he at least tried his best until the end
Masterlist | you'll probably like: moving on
Reminder this is just fiction!! I'm not trying to portray real life and you shouldn't believe that this is how the members actually are. This is just for the vibe and the delulu!
Thank you for reading <3

fic below the cut <3
It had been three days since you had gotten coffee with him, and all Andrew could think about was you. It was getting a little concerning. Concerning to him, at least. He was a grown man, who was he to have — for lack of a better word — a crush? Let alone one he was too embarrassed to express his feelings for?
It was close to torture, but he had no right to complain. He had brought this upon himself, and he accepted it. He asked a woman, particularly one he thought was beautiful, to get coffee with him, paid for her, and still ended the whole affair with their relationship being at most friends and at the very least acquaintances. Stupid idea, and the definition of a missed opportunity. Alex had already berated him over this decision (“What do you mean you bought her coffee, just the two of you, and you didn’t even attempt to drop a hint that you like her?”). And it’s not like he didn’t torture himself over it, thoughts randomly popping up telling him what he could’ve or should’ve said or done. The regrets he had, no matter how minuscule they were, ate away at him when he had nothing else to think about. All because of a choice he made and a label he refused to give. What a way to self-sabotage.
Everything about you, from how you met to how easily your conversations flowed, was magnetic, pulling his thoughts (and him) towards you. The serendipity of it all was like he had been transported into one of those overly saccharine romantic comedy movies he would sometimes catch his mother watching. What was the term she had used once? A meet-cute?
The slight vibration of his phone in his pocket brought him back to his reality. A call from an unknown number. Usually, he would hang up, or at least ignore it. But he was in between clients, and more importantly, a little bored. So he answered.
“Hello?”
“Hi. It’s Y/N. From the florist.” Andrew let out a sigh of relief at the sound of your voice. “That end of the world you were warning me about last time never happened, so I had enough time to finish your bouquet.”
He chuckled at that, a lighter sound than he intended.
“That’s fantastic. Both the world not ending and the bouquet being ready.”
“Is it alright if I swing by soon?
“Yeah. I’m on my lunch break in between clients, so I’m free.”
“Perfect. See you in…” you paused, which he surmised was you mentally calculating how long it would take you to get there before continuing, “about fifteen minutes.”
“I’ll be waiting for you.”
He grimaced as you hung up the phone, and true to his word, he waited. His time was occupied with sketching a design for an appointment he had in a few weeks, Alex hanging around with him. Immediately, everything was put down when you walked in. Fifteen minutes later, just like you had told him, he heard the bell above the door ring. He watched as you opened the door, tightly gripping a vase containing the flowers, letting in a beam of sunlight with your entrance.
“I’ve got one order of a chrysanthemum arrangement for Andrew?” You announced, feigning not knowing who he was.
“Great, you're here. Let me take that off your hands.”
He rushed over and grabbed the bouquet from you, and in a moment he had to remember to thank the gods for later, his fingers brushed yours, making his heart rate spike so suddenly he almost had a medical issue.
God, he was pathetic.
“Thank you so much for this. You never fail to amaze me.”
“Of course. You can keep the vase, by the way. Free of charge.”
He looked down at you, his brows furrowed but a smile still on his face.
“You are physically incapable of not being nice to me, huh?”
“Please. I do this for all of my orders. You're not special,” you joked, and he scoffed in reply.
“Wow… and I thought we were friends!”
“I’m just humbling you a little. Besides, I can't let other customers think I have favorites. It's unprofessional.”
“Favorites? Plural? Do I have competition?”
“Yes. It's you and a little old lady that orders centerpieces for her dinner parties. Don't go beating her up for the top spot.”
A beat passed before a mischievous smirk came across your face.
“Though, I am a fan of a guy that would fight in my honor.”
Not being able to sense your tone, Andrew swiftly changed the topic, unsure and unwilling to think about how he'd throw a punch for you.
“So, you used flower language for this, right? What's it all mean?”
You smiled, and the way your face lit up gave him a rush, a sudden burst of butterflies in his stomach. He listened intently, despite his urges to focus on you and not the words you were saying.
“Alright, I’ll give you a quick rundown of the meanings. Chrysanthemums are joy, of course. There are some sunflowers, specifically dwarf sunflowers, because they represent pride, like how you’re proud of your work, hopefully. Orange roses for fascination. And last but not least, calla lilies for magnificence and beauty, like what you create here. Hopefully you and your colleagues like it.”
He couldn't help the incredulous laugh that cane at the end of your statement.
“Are you kidding me? It's beautiful. Of course I like it,” he reassured. You didn't verbally reply, but the new warmness of your features was all the response he needed.
He paid, making a comment along the way about how he almost left his wallet at home this morning, but caught himself: “I promise I’m not forgetful, just… all over the place.” You listened, seemingly actually invested, and took the money from him once he offered.
“Thank you. You are single-handedly keeping my small business afloat.”
He raised an eyebrow at that, both out of confusion and concern.
“Are you not doing well?”
“I mean, we're making sales, meeting the quotas we should be. Barely. But we're not exactly a hotspot anymore. It's not common for people to get flowers, and if they do they get cheap bouquets cheaply made at a grocery store or online. People these days don't bother to make an effort.”
He observed you as you thought for a moment, a pause only he could have read into. He could’ve sworn you looked him up and down, though his hopeful imagination could have tricked him. There was more optimism in your tone this time around.
“You do, though. Make an effort, I mean. I appreciate it. You might be the only guy I know that does.”
Your words were taken to heart, but he deflected your compliment, fearing he'd become too flustered if he let it linger.
“Is the bar truly that low?”
“That's not low! These days, finding a guy who tries is like winning the lottery.”
You barely gave him time to react before pulling out your phone, which had just vibrated in your pocket. He could already see the disappointment set into your features.
“Crap. I have to get back.”
He offered an understanding nod, knowing as much as he wished he could stay in this moment, reality had to set back in.
“I hate to say goodbye, but it was really nice to see you. And your place of work. Keep me posted on if the flowers help raise people’s spirits.”
“Goodbye. Parting is such sweet sorrow.”
“Quoting The Bard at me? So you’re an artist and a nerd. Full of surprises, aren’t you?”
“I am. There’s a lot you don’t know about me.”
“Oh, I’m sure I’ll find out more soon enough. I’ll see you later.”
“Goodbye.”
The door closed behind you, leaving Andrew feeling a bit emptier now that you were no longer there. Finding the right time, Alex made his presence known again. Andrew was so focused on you he had almost forgotten he was in the room.
“So… that's the Y/N you keep talking about?”
“That's her.”
“The one you platonically took to a coffee shop?”
“The very same.”
Alex gave him a look: a squint accompanied by an oddly pensive expression, like he was trying to make the situation make sense.
“Is something the matter? Do… do you not approve?” Andrew asked. Alex replied slowly, cautiously.
“No, she seems wonderful. No complaints here. In fact, that’s the issue.”
“How so?"
“Maybe because you took a woman, an amazing one at that, on an outing that was a date in every aspect but its name. You essentially blocked yourself off from you two being romantic. It doesn’t make sense to me! How are you the same lad that would write love songs in college?”
“That was a decade ago! I’m more cautious now.”
“Oh, yeah. You're so cautious, in fact, that you started liking your florist. A woman that you've only met four times, including one time where you basically went on a date!”
Andrew felt a shame as if he had just been yelled at by a parent, though most of the sting came from the truth of his words. Only after he exhaled a deep sigh did Alex speak again.
“Listen, I don't mean to scold you. I’m only saying all this because I care about you. That being said, if you don't take this girl out sometime soon…”
“Alex!”
“I’m being serious! I was standing right there. I saw how you look at her and you're… enamored of the poor woman. If you don't do something about the way you feel— doesn't have to be soon, just eventually— then the only person that will regret it is you.”
Andrew gave a slow nod as he processed the other man's words. He hated how wise he could be sometimes.
“I… I need to find the right moment. I need to take my time.”
“Then take it. Just don't bottle up your emotions for too long. You don't handle it well. Plus, after a while of you blabbering on about the same person, it starts to get annoying.”
For the first time since you left, Andrew laughed, Alex joining in a moment afterwards.
“Alright,” he said, slapping a hand on Andrew's shoulder. “Let's get back to work.”
Andrew ruminated on his friend’s words on the drive home, his grip tightening on the wheel. As much as he hated to admit it, Alex was right; he did need to do something about what he felt for you. But he never did specify what.
It had been a while since he felt like this towards someone, so he wasn't lying when he said he needed to take his time. If he were to ever make a move on you, he would have to make sure he was certain. He didn't want to ruin your newly-labeled friendship, run the risk of throwing away something just starting, and something good. However, that didn’t mean he couldn’t use an alternative method to handle these feelings.
He stepped into his flat, and for the first time in recent memory it felt… empty. Not necessarily from the absence of friends or family, just absence. The empty seats at his table, on his couch, in his bed, they almost screamed at him. He had never realized that the silence of being alone was so deafening.
What better way to fill the silence than with music?
He got straight to work, his craving to create overriding any hunger for actual food he had. Despite his own better judgement, Andrew had written down the lyric he had absentmindedly created a few days ago in his phone. He considered continuing from there, but preferred to do things the old-fashioned way. So he grabbed a pen, sat down at his kitchen table, opened his notebook, and began to write.
I have never known peace like the damp grass that yields to me…
He hadn’t opened himself up to this creative vulnerability in so long, so he was admittedly a little rusty. Words were crossed out, rearranged, and substituted with synonyms if the amount of syllables didn’t fit the rhythm. Eventually, after he had eased into it, it felt no different from when he sketched a stencil or tattooed a client. Oddly enough, the more he wrote and the more effort he put in, the more the lines continued to blur until he felt just as comfortable as he did at his job. Whether it be a tattoo gun or a ballpoint pen, Andrew was always in his element when he had ink.
There was also the added factor of what inspired all of this fervor to write: you. You kickstarted something in his brain, subconsciously flipping a switch. that made him more musical. Before you he would turn on the radio or shuffle his Spotify and merely admire whatever song was playing, but after you came into his life, his thoughts strayed more towards you: I could write something like this. About her.
Should he consider you his muse? He’d decide later on.
Time slipped away from him, to the point that he was shocked to look at the clock and find less than an hour had passed.
One last similarity between the two was discovered. He harbored a similar sense of pride after he had finished— or, more accurately, stopped himself after writing a verse and a chorus. Not a finished verse and chorus either, simply a rough draft to remind him how to get back into the mindset.
The only difference was the audience, or lack thereof. There was no way Andrew was letting anyone see this or even know about it. He would maybe, maybe, consider showing you one day. Even then, he could only imagine he’d want to shrivel up in a corner as you read it, or God forbid, as he sang it to you. He couldn’t dare to think about that now, even though the guitar resting against the wall in his bedroom was almost calling his name. He had to leave it there for now. He could barely handle writing for the day, let alone singing and playing. For now, he was taking baby steps.
Even if he could muster up the courage, there was no chance anything he wrote would be leaving the eyes of his friends and family. He was no poet, and no star. He already had a job that let him express himself and make meaningful pieces of art. For that, he was grateful. He could be happy with keeping the songs for himself, writing for only his own eyes, and letting what he created at his job be for the whole world.
The notebook — funny how such a small object now held a power over him — was closed and stuffed in an empty shelf space in his closet, an attempt at keeping it out of sight and out of mind. His attempt was semi-successful considering every step of the rest of his day was accompanied by the thought of it. Not the shame, just the knowledge of knowing he had written something. The shock of actually having the strength. It stuck with him until he went to bed that night, not even nearing sleep being able to offer him solace. He tossed and turned well into nightfall, until it got to the point that he was getting restless. And desperate. So he picked up his phone. To avoid simply doomscrolling until his eyes began to flutter, he found some website that detailed flower language and started to read.
He willingly went down a rabbit hole, keeping a separate tab open to search for flora he didn't recognize by name. He made mental notes of meanings he found particularly interesting. The last flower he read of before falling asleep was the poppy. It meant eternal slumber, coincidentally what he was longing for at the moment, but also imagination. It was almost perfect how poppies represented the day he had. This was his last coherent thought before he drifted off.
There was a third definition, one that also summarized his day, that Andrew’s eyes didn't stay open to read.
Oblivion.

After several delays (sorry, everyone) chapter one of Various Storms and Saints is done!
AKA the "Jayce accidentally ends up in a good timeline where he and Viktor are together" fic I said I would write.
Summary: Word count 4.7k
After meeting Wizard Viktor and the bad timeline, Jayce takes up the grim task of heading back to his own timeline and setting things right the only way he knows how. But along the way, something goes awry and he ends up in an alternate version of Piltover and Zaun where things appear to have gone very differently, especially between him and Viktor. But after experiencing firsthand the life that could have been between him and Viktor, will he be able to go back and fulfill his promise? After knowing the love that could still be there can he bring himself to destroy it forever?
(If there is smut later, it will be in stand-alone skippable chapters in case that's not your thing. Tags will be periodically updated to reflect the plot.)

Chapter 1: St. Jude
Notes: Hi, everyone! Thanks for checking this out! I hope you enjoy it!
—
“St Jude, the patron saint of the lost causes.
St Jude, we were lost before she started.
St Jude, we lay in bed as she whipped around us.
St Jude, maybe I've always been more comfortable in chaos.”
—
In truth, he’d started to think he’d go mad down there.
The top of the Hexgate loomed over the wasteland that had once been Piltover and Zaun like a lighthouse in a storm, as tantalizing as food to the starving; like a distant thunderstorm in the scorching heat. He had simply known that he needed to scale it. To stand at its zenith and behold the ruined world below him.
A world ruined by Hextech. By his dream. The culmination of their dream.
The culmination of his obsession and love for magic and his desire to better the world with it. The end of their shared brilliance and friendship. The fallible flame of Prometheus passed to him by the man cloaked in frozen, biting winds that had burned him nonetheless.
He’d been as compelled to climb up there as he had been to escape that forsaken cave. That pit where every ounce of despair held deep within him had manifested. That interminable oubliette composed entirely from his nightmares and the hell of his physical reality. As inescapable as the truth.
He’d crawled from the lowest pits of the Undercity to the very tallest structure to ever stand in the clouds of Piltover, a metaphorical journey that he wasn’t the first to make. But it had given him a sense of understanding he’d only once thought he possessed and a clarity only bitter suffering could provide.
They’d both been through so much. And it had created this.
How fitting that it should mark the spot of their shared grave. The Hexgate. A monument to what they could achieve together standing as the last bastion in a dead world. The only life left within it sequestered atop its one gleaming crest. Everything else scurried below, barely alive anymore. Mutated beyond recognition. Nothing untouched by the corruption of the Arcane.
They were both still living in a way, but equality dead all the same. One motionless in solitude, the other rooted to the spot, physically able to leave but unwilling to, trapped in their perpetual state of mourning A terminus of boundless misery, both forever alone despite being so close that the flowers that adorned one had started to spread across the clothing worn by the other as they remained by their side.
How did it come to this? It was unfathomable.
But as he stood there and took in the words that this version of Viktor had told him, he knew it to be the truth. He could not run from it even if he’d had the will to. He’d delivered the weight of Atlas to his shoulders so gently, so knowingly, and yet with such haunting regret. With such a look of profound knowing in his time-worn eyes.
He’d always known Viktor. He just hadn’t known it until that moment. From the first spark of magic to the birth of Hextech. The man who had saved the lives of his mother and himself. He’d once told Viktor he knew that he had no idea how beautiful magic was when he’d been the very one to bestow it upon him. Oh, how little they’d both know at the time. How small the universe had been despite how open they were to all it had to offer.
“We lost ourselves. Lost our dream. In the pursuit of great, we failed to do good. We have to make it right.”
Viktor’s words that day scraped across his frontal lobe like a razor's edge. He was right. He’d been right all along, in fact. He’d said then that the Hexcore needed to be destroyed. Once upon a time, so had their mentor. It was clearer now than ever that for the sake of everyone and everything there was only one course of action to take. One path to walk that only he could tread.
But how could he bear that weight? How could he pick up that hammer? Knowing what he was destined to do with it. When the time came would his conviction alone be enough to make him go through with it? He had never been more sure and uncertain about anything. Sure in the steadfast nature of his promise and uncertain as to whether or not that would be enough. If his will alone would be enough.
Even knowing this he took a breath and looked the man who had saved him as a child in the eye. Perhaps not even a man now. More of a divine being of such terrible power that he knew not what to call him. Not what to make of him. But regardless, as he kneeled there, his resolve strengthened even as pained reality set in. This was the only way. In his heart, he knew it to be the only truth available to him.
“Send me back.”
A hand once obscured by the fabric of the older mage’s robe lowered itself to the skeletal structure that kneeled before it, barely grazing the surface that was as much petal and moss now as it was metal, the cosmos eternally entangled with it. The silence from it was absolute all but for the brief movement of its vacant eyes. His own looking back at him for a place beyond his comprehension. What remained of himself uncurled its fingers, some of them breaking apart at the tips and remaining on the handle. There was no blood. It had been subsumed long ago. But the handle was as much a part of it as the warped base of the hammer it clutched was the structure they stood upon. A limb more than a weapon.
Jayce was as entranced as he was utterly disquieted, the fleeting thought of what it must be like to be this version of himself fluttering through his subconscious for all but a moment before he leaned forward and gripped the handle. Resolute, he met the eyes of this version of Viktor one last time before readying himself.
For all their sakes, he could never find out.
“I won’t fail.”
He felt the band he'd worn upon his wrist for what felt like a lifetime change, disappearing in a flash of light. The rune that had started all of this embedded itself into his very flesh and marked it with the permeance of a brand. A vow. Prof of the unshakable commitment he now carried by his own volition.
He'd escaped the very depths of hell crawling on a broken leg, and yet he knew with unyielding certainty that this would be the hardest thing that he would ever do.
He had to stop Viktor. And every aching fiber of his broken being knew what that meant.
And he hated it. Like nothing he'd ever felt before. So much that it frightened him.
It seethed within him like rolling magma from the depths of Tartarus, ready to erupt and disfigure the bedrock itself. To tear the earth asunder beneath him. Not a hate towards him but a hate for him. On his behalf. For everything that he meant and had become. Because of them both. Because of him. For everything he meant and had always meant to Jayce and the brilliance that would be snuffed out when he watched the light leave his eyes. For everything that he'd done to him even though he'd never meant to hurt him. Every wound he'd inflicted had been out of nothing but love. And that was why it was so corrosive; so volatile.
The worst thing a person could do to someone was love them the way he loved Viktor.
And yet, even knowing that, even as that truth gripped him, some part of him that he despised knew he'd still do it again because he couldn't do nothing when the life of someone he cared about was at stake. That was his foil. The chink in his armor. He saw that now. If only he’d seen it before it had led him down this path. The path, it seemed, that he was always destined to follow.
He would be saved as a child. He would meet Viktor. And they would destroy the world together.
The depths of such betrayal. It wouldn’t be the first time he'd betrayed someone he loved, but it would be the first time he did it on purpose. With the explicit purpose of harming them. That just wasn’t who he was. It went against every atom of his being; against his unfalteringly loyal spirit.
He couldn't hate Viktor for what he’d become. He didn’t want to. But he could hate himself for what he’d done to him. What he was about to do to him. Later.
“I swear it.”
The anomaly reappeared and engulfed them. A fleshy, almost tendon-like conglomeration of round inorganic shapes with little rhyme or reason to them. Visually little more than a mass of shifting rainbow hews and refracting circular portholes punctuated only by its webbed internal structure. Its surface structured and rigid despite its ever-rippling nature. It warped and sputtered, swelling and expanding before contracting and shrinking in pulses and variable waves. It seemed unstable to Jayce, but it was impossible to tell. The amalgamation was as unknowable to him as the depths of the ocean. He would not question how it worked. He knew its purpose. It would send him back.
And then he would set about his grim task.
Jayce shared one final parting glance with the older version of the man he’d once called his closest friend before he felt himself pulled backward, tumbling through the depths of the Arcane. It was a blinding and disorienting experience, channels of light to either side of him rippling through dark, cool hues punctuated by the occasional reds and golds as runic symbols blazed past him at light speed. What appeared to be the night sky loomed over him, stars sparkling in distant, vacant galaxies in the far-off cosmos he was sent along the path that had been purpose-carved explicitly for him. It was beautiful in a frightening way.
Gripping the handle of the Mercury Hammer tightly, he felt himself speed up, approaching velocities that he dared not consider. The implications of how hard his upcoming landing would be would start to eat away at his already raw nerves. He didn’t need that.
His head cascaded through memories and fractured visions, threatening to tear his mind apart. He presumed that he was nearly there. He would hold together for as long as it took. He would finish the job and then his mind could unravel. Perhaps that would spare him some of the inevitable guilt. Some merciful madness to provide him with a thoughtless reprieve.
But as he approached the end of the path, a thought occurred to him. The Arcane. He’d touched it back at the base of the Hexgate and it had felt strange. Alien. Unpleasant. But this was another facet of it. More focused and less untamed. It looked like he could reach out and touch it, skim over its surface just like a hand skimming through silent waters. He’d wanted to do as much during his childhood in the moment that he’d been whisked away to safety. Perhaps a bit of harmless indulgence amidst the madness of it all?
Cautiously, he reached out his hand, extending just his middle, ring, and index fingers. That would be all he needed to-.
He saw his body go one way as he went the other as if he had been snatched from it. It passed him as he lingered behind, time almost seeming to stand still as his mind failed to process the level of horror that he should be experiencing upon seeing something of that nature. And then he was yanked sideways, wrenched through the walls of the Arcane itself.
A fractal, almost psychedelic series of refracting reflections of his own body and mind encircling him and then spreading out in long waves, sending his body through a void of bright white light. He saw the back of himself, row after row repeating the same motions in a slightly delayed sequence as he closed his eyes, only to find that doing so did nothing to stop him from seeing. He felt his heart leap in his chest, his blood pounding as he tried to steady himself.
Curse his foolish curiosity. If he’d only kept his hands to himself…
Suddenly, he felt his body drop. Slamming downward as everything around him went completely white save for the infinite rows of rainbow light that encircled the black, bottomless cosmic hole that he now found himself plummeting into. He opened his mouth to cry out in fear but found that little more than a frightened yelp escaped his parted lips as he plunged into the depths. Jayce closed his eyes, unwilling to look. If this was to be his end then he didn’t want to see what would take him from existence.
Jayce felt his knees buckle and slam downward as his hands caught him and he came to a sudden, bone-crunching stop. He gritted his teeth from sheer instinct, waiting with dread for the inevitable pain that would make its unwelcome appearance in his left leg. But as he opened his eyes he was met with confusion as nothing happened, the only discomfort coming from his palms making contact with the ground beneath him, and even that was nominal at best. His knees tingled a bit, but hardly in a way that he’d consider painful. Slowly his eyes began to adjust.
Light flooded through the trees around him. The smell of crisp waterside air and the gentle flutter of the wings of birds as they soared from the treetops overhead, startled by his sudden stop. The feeling of a comfortingly cool breeze grasping at the fabric that he wore, ghosting over his skin with all the gentleness of a kiss. The sun shone overhead in a bright blue sky barely touched by the paltry smattering of clouds that dared try to impede the light from above, warm but not stifling as leaves blew past him on the paved path that he occupied.
He was looking down at the pavement. There was pavement.
Startled, he scrambled backward onto his feet, instantly thrown off by how unburdened his movement was. He ran a hand over his visibly shocked face, shaking his head back and forth a few times as his palm made contact with the top of his head. There was no hair to brush out of his eyes. It was shorter. He had no beard. No stubble, even.
He looked down and, to his further confusion, he wore something completely different than what he’d just had on. Gone were the muddied and soiled whites and golds that he’d once worn and in their stead was a much more approachable set of clothing. He wore dark pants with a vest and a long-sleeved shirt underneath, the sleeves neatly rolled up to just over the elbow. The garments were complimenting shades of dark blue and that shade of Talis red that he was oh so accustomed to. Familiar but something he was almost certain he couldn’t remember ever wearing before. And yet, something he felt like he would’ve picked out in another lifetime. Certainly inoffensive to his personal tastes.
Taking a second to orient himself, he concluded that he was in a park or plaza of some sort. It had recently established trees. There were benches and what seemed to be a fountain of some sort a short distance away. Nothing noteworthy but it still felt that way.
The place was alive. So unlike what the place he’d just left had been like.
“Excuse me. Sir? You dropped these.”
Jayce turned in alarm towards the individual who had just approached him. An enforcer carrying what appeared to be a clipboard with several documents on it. There was a cover sheet covering the stack bearing a house single that looked reminiscent of his own, only with two hammers instead of the single one he was accustomed to. Everything else was the same from the style to the colors, aside from that notable difference. Odd.
The enforcer handed over the documents, stopping to adjust his uniform. It had probably shifted when he’d reached over to pick up the documents off of the ground.
“T-thank you.” It took Jayce a moment to speak, his mouth and mind not quite in alignment just yet. He wasn’t sure why that had been so hard. What about it had felt so foreign to him? Perhaps spending an extended period in a realm nearly devoid of conversation partners had made him accustomed to other people just existing around him? There hadn’t been anyone to talk to down in that hole except for himself and the vaguely amphibious creatures he’d been feasting on. It was a humbling thought, one that made him uneasy. “Sorry for the trouble.”
The enforcer nodded cooperatively, seemingly taking notice of how off-kilter Jayce seemed. There was just something a bit off about him. Oh, if the man only knew. And yet, he seemed familiar. Like Jayce had seen him before…
It hit him like a bolt from the blue. He looked like that sheriff who had died on the bridge during that attack a while back, only slightly younger. Less hardened. What had his name been? Something with an M. Ah, that was right. Marcus. The same man who’d brought him the documents he’d requested during his second day as a Counselor. The day that they’d gone to check on the Hexgates.
Wait.
Oh no. He’d gone off course. Surely. It should have been obvious at first glance and yet… Was he in the past? Was this another timeline? He needed to find out. Fast.
“Hey, can I ask you a question?” It was so strange, speaking to a man he knew to be dead. Or who would die? He didn’t have the foggiest idea just yet, but still. He hadn’t known him but he still felt a small pang of sadness remembering the sight of him laying there when he’d visited the bridge that day with Mel. It almost made him feel queasy again.
“Of course. How can I help?”
“I… “ He flipped through the documentation on the clipboard, looking for something to go off of. A starting place for his investigations. And then he found it: a set of addresses. One was listed as a professional address, a tempting lead to be sure, but the other caught his eye. It was a home address. Apparently, his personal address since it was listed under his house name. But it was not the one he was familiar with. “Could you point me in the right direction?”
Marcus leaned over to read the address and then eyed him questioningly, seemingly wondering something but not saying it. “That’s just a few blocks short of a mile from here. Across the bridge in Central Zaun. Near The Last Drop. Go straight. You won’t miss it.”
The notion that the address was not in Piltover didn’t surprise him. He’d never seen a street by that name there. But Zaun? Was that what the Undercity was called in this universe? Had something disastrous happened in his personal life to cause him to have to move there? Maybe he hadn’t gone back in time, then. This might be more complicated than he’d first imagined. Fantastic.
He thanked Markus and bid him farewell. At least now he had a lead to work with. To Zaun, then. He’d been to the center of the Undercity before. It felt like a lifetime ago now, but he was certain that he could find his way down to the bottom again.
Making his way through town, Jayce couldn’t hope but notice that things felt different. Everything felt brighter; warmer and more optimistic. There were balloons on the street poles and banners over roads. Street service workers were in the process of replacing the standard lights with colored ones and an electric sense of optimism and excitement seemed to flow from everyone he passed. They were all looking forward to something, that much was clear.
And then he reached the bridge.
The structure that once served as a point of separation between the two cities gleamed under the bright sky, bustling with activity and purpose. Children played and vendors showcased different products and purchasable, perishable, or otherwise. People talked and laughed together from all walks of life. There were no blockades. Only traces of where they’d once been. Everything was clean and well-kept. People were enjoying themselves in an environment devoid of tension.
It all felt like a surreal fever dream. A beautiful one.
In truth, it stole his breath away.
He’d always hoped that Hextech could pave the way to a better tomorrow for them all, but to see the Undercity flourishing, even at just the surface level? This place was everything he’d ever hoped it could be. Everything that they’d championed for, especially Viktor. So tirelessly, even at the expense of his own well-being. To see the home that his partner had hailed from brimming with hope and beauty seized him in a way that he struggled to shake as he moved through the streets toward his destination. He wished he could show Viktor this version of his home. He wished he’d had the chance to grow up in this version of his home. No polluted water and acidic air, no downtrodden infrastructure or blackened skies heavy with soot and brimstone from the factories and mines. Just fresh air, daylight, and opportunity around every corner. What they’d all disserved from the very start. What they’d been deprived of by the simple virtue of being born on the wrong side of the bridge.
Genuine tangible irrefutable progress. He wanted this for his Piltover. For their Piltover.
He hurried along, checking the addresses as he passed by what was undeniably the center of town. Past The Last Drop and down its open, winding roads that had once been so narrow and stifling. Down to a quiet but still active zone filled with a mixture of residences and small shops. Colorful, bright, and full of greenery, something unfamiliar to him in this place save for the smog. He rounded a corner and then stopped, suddenly hit by the realization that something just felt off all of a sudden.
It started as simple blurred vision, Jayce shaking his head as he ducked further back away from the street. But then his head shuttered and his legs nearly buckled, his chest heaving as he used one hand to steady himself against the brick wall of one of the shops and the other to grip his throbbing head. He saw colors and shapes in flashes too fast and aggressively to make out clearly. And then he felt his stomach knot and churn before he found himself on his knees for the second time since he’d arrived, emptying the contents of his stomach into a nearby bush.
Panting as the clarity returned to his watering eyes and the breath in his lungs was restored, he stood shakily, steadying himself. He wasn’t a fan of whatever that had been. But it was over. He would continue.
Stepping back out onto the main path he did a double take. He’d found the address. In his stupor, he’d nearly walked right past it.
It didn’t stand out from the other buildings it was attached to, a little two-story thing with a raised stoop that made it apparent that it had a basement with a window well. At the top of the eves was a round window that hinted at the possibility of an attic, but it was hard to be sure from the exterior. The roof was a tarnished copper like many of the others on the road, but in a way that was ornamental instead of the result of a lack of upkeep. The verdigris contrasted the rest of the structure in a way that almost seemed deliberate, with red brick and metal ornamentation that almost reminded him of what one would expect in the more common districts of Piltover but with a slightly different flare. It was… Nice. Easily one of the coziest-looking buildings on the lane. Strange. It even felt like home.
Jayce wasn’t sure what he’d expected to find when he’d imagined where he’d choose to live in the Undercity, but this was a far cry better than what he’d had in mind. Nothing opulent, but to be fair, that had never been the case for any place he’d lived aside from the Kiramman Penthouse during his studies. He dug through his waistcoat pocket and produced a set of keys as he approached the door. There were a few on the ring, in fact. Something else to look into later. If he was there that long.
It took a few keys before he found the right one, but eventually, the door opened and he stepped across the threshold, immediately hit by the comforting warmth of the space. If the outside had been quaint and cozy, then the inside was nothing short of welcoming. Instantly, it felt like a place he’d like to stay in. An archway made in the same art nouveau style with just a sprinkle of art deco that the rest of the building’s exterior had been crafted in opened up into what seemed to be a living area of some sort. Just ahead of him was a staircase leading to the upper level.
Even with the curtains partially drawn across the back window, he could see the wealth of plants in the back conservatory off to the side of the back of the building, accessible via the hallway that ran down past the staircase. An interesting choice. He’d never been the best at keeping those alive despite his best attempts. Perhaps they were specimens for some sort of study.
But as he considered this the same pain he’d felt in his skull returned from nowhere, only with no warning or build-up and with the vengeful spite of a curse set upon him by a wrathful god. He bumped into the wall as he dropped the papers he still carried onto a side table, nearly stumbling over it in the process as he reeled back and used both hands to clutch his aching head, digging his fingers into his scalp as though gouging through his flesh and excavating all the gray matter from his body was the only recourse from which he could hope to derive release.
Gasping soundlessly save for the sound of air parting ways with his lungs, he grounded himself as he clenched his eyes shut. It would pass. It had to. His worst moments always did for they were merely that: moments. He groaned shakily, panting like a shaking animal as his ears wrang, seeing only the flashes of color and fractal nonsense that were the hallmarks of the Arcane anomaly. He could feel his heartbeat in his ears and head as the ceaseless agony slowly subsided, pushing and pulling in tormenting waves until it became vaguely bearable again, coherence no longer simply a product of wishful yearning.
He didn’t hear the handle turn; he didn’t register the door swing open or the silence as it returned to the room. Jayce didn’t feel the presence of another person in the room with him whatsoever, so overtaken was he by the ordeal he’d just experienced. His ears felt like they’d never be useful again. And then he heard a voice. As clear as crystal. Like a chime ringing out in the utterly consuming darkness. He didn’t currently possess the faculties necessary to discern the topic of conversation, but he knew that voice anywhere.
Viktor.

Hellooo! I stumbled upon your writing on request & it was so good and you deliver it perfectly. So here am I requesting a ff from you. Its about reader/OC where she also an avenger. Bucky is in relationship with her. Most of their mission were almost together & for this one they were separated. It wasn’t unusual but this time Bucky seems more agitated. This cause them to have arguments. Before they could resolve it she was sent to the mission earlier than dated. Bucky regret what he said to her & try to find her to apologise but what he gets was an upsetting news. Her plane had been hijacked. I need angst but with happy ending please. Yearning is good to add too. Thank you so much and sorry if my request was too much. 🤍🩵🤍🩵💗
Hijacked
Warnings: mentions of violence.
Bucky leaned against the sleek counter in the Avengers Tower communal kitchen, nursing his fifth cup of coffee of the day.
The bitter liquid did nothing to ease the churn of unease in his stomach. Y/N had left the room hours ago after their latest argument, the tension still heavy in the air. He hated when they fought, hated the way her voice wavered when she’d told him he was overreacting, and especially hated the way she’d walked away before he could figure out how to apologize.
It wasn’t unusual for them to be sent on separate missions. As one of the most capable field agents on the team, Y/N often worked independently or alongside Natasha, while Bucky found himself paired with Steve or Sam. They always managed, always found their way back to each other. This time, though, something was different. He couldn’t shake the nagging worry gnawing at the edges of his mind, the sense that something was off.
"You're being ridiculous," Y/N had said earlier, her tone sharp but her eyes soft. "I can handle myself, Bucky. You know that."
"I know you can," he’d snapped back, running a hand through his hair. "But that doesn't mean I have to like the idea of you being out there alone. Especially now."
“Now?” she’d echoed, crossing her arms. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“It means I—” He’d faltered, his frustration overriding his ability to articulate the fear gripping his chest. "I just think we should’ve had more time to prepare. It’s not like they couldn’t have waited a day or two."
She’d sighed then, exasperated. “This is what we do. It’s not always perfect timing.”
And then she’d walked out.
The sound of a nearby chair scraping against the floor jolted Bucky from his thoughts. Sam plopped down across from him, tossing a protein bar onto the counter.
“You look like you’ve been brooding for hours,” Sam remarked, unwrapping the bar. “What’s going on?”
“Y/N’s mission got moved up,” Bucky muttered, staring into his coffee. “We argued before she left.”
Sam raised an eyebrow. “And?”
“And she’s already gone,” Bucky admitted, his voice low. “I didn’t get to apologize.”
Sam chewed thoughtfully. “She’ll be fine, man. Y/N’s a badass. But you should probably work on this whole ‘bottle-up-your-emotions-until-they-explode’ thing. It’s not a great look.”
Bucky didn’t respond, his mind too tangled with guilt and worry. He couldn’t shake the image of Y/N walking onto the Quinjet, her back rigid and her expression unreadable. He should’ve stopped her. He should’ve said something—anything.
Hours turned into a restless night. Bucky paced his room, glancing at his phone every few minutes, waiting for some kind of update. When the call finally came, it wasn’t what he was expecting.
“Barnes,” Steve’s voice crackled through the line, urgent and grim. “Y/N’s plane has been hijacked.”
The world seemed to tilt on its axis. Bucky gripped the edge of the desk, his knuckles white.
“What do you mean, hijacked?” he demanded, his voice barely steady.
“En route to the mission,” Steve explained. “The plane went off course. We lost contact about an hour ago.”
Bucky’s chest tightened. An hour. Anything could have happened in that time. His mind raced with worst-case scenarios, each one more horrifying than the last.
“I’m going after her,” he said immediately, already moving to grab his gear.
“Bucky—” Steve started, but Bucky cut him off.
“Don’t try to talk me out of this,” he growled. “You’d do the same if it were me.”
Steve sighed. “Just… be careful.”
Bucky barely registered Steve’s next words as he ended the call, his mind already racing. His stomach churned with a potent mix of dread and determination as he grabbed his gear, slinging his tactical bag over his shoulder. He could feel the weight of Steve's gaze as he passed him in the hallway.
“She’ll be okay, Buck,” Steve said softly, his voice steady but his eyes betraying his own worry. “Y/N’s one of the best.”
Bucky nodded stiffly, but the knot in his chest didn’t loosen. She was the best—that’s what scared him. He knew exactly what kind of danger someone like her would attract. And now she was out there, in the hands of God-knows-who, and the last words he’d said to her were drenched in frustration instead of love.
“Don’t wait up,” Bucky muttered before walking out, leaving Steve in the hallway.
Down in the briefing room, Sam was already poring over satellite data, his brow furrowed in concentration. Natasha stood next to him, arms crossed, her sharp eyes scanning the map projected on the wall.
“Tell me you’ve got something,” Bucky said, his voice taut.
“We’re working on it,” Sam replied, glancing up. “Last known coordinates put her plane about here.” He pointed to a dense patch of forest on the map, far from any major cities or settlements. “But that’s where it went dark. No signals since.”
“What kind of hijackers force a plane down in the middle of nowhere?” Bucky muttered, more to himself than to them.
Natasha gave him a pointed look. “The kind who want privacy. Whoever they are, they knew what they were doing.”
Bucky’s jaw tightened. “Then we don’t have time to waste. How do we get there?”
“I’ve got a Quinjet ready,” Natasha said, already moving toward the hangar. “Sam’s coming with me to cover the air. You?”
“I’m going on the ground,” Bucky said without hesitation. “I need to find her.”
Natasha didn’t argue, though her gaze lingered on him for a moment. “Fine. But don’t do anything stupid. She’ll need you in one piece.”
Bucky followed them to the hangar, his movements automatic as he loaded up on weapons and gear. Every second felt like an eternity, his mind replaying images of Y/N’s face, the sound of her voice when they’d argued.
“I’ll take the north quadrant,” Sam said as they boarded the Quinjet. “You can have the east. We’ll scan for heat signatures and anything out of the ordinary. Natasha’s running point.”
Bucky nodded absently, his focus already miles ahead of them, in that forest where Y/N was waiting.
As the Quinjet took off, the hum of the engines did little to soothe his nerves. Natasha’s voice crackled through the comms, giving updates on their trajectory, but Bucky barely listened. His gaze was fixed out the window, the cityscape below giving way to sprawling green wilderness.
“Hey,” Sam’s voice broke through his thoughts. “You good?”
“No,” Bucky admitted, his voice low. “But I will be when I find her.”
Sam studied him for a moment, then nodded. “We’ll get her back. You know that, right?”
Bucky didn’t answer. He couldn’t let himself think about any other possibility.
The Quinjet began to descend, the dense forest rising up to meet them. Natasha’s voice came through the comms again.
“We’re close to the coordinates. There’s a clearing about half a mile east where we can set down. From there, it’s on foot.”
Bucky was already moving toward the hatch, his gear secured and his mind focused. As soon as the Quinjet touched down, he was out, the cool forest air hitting him like a slap.
Sam and Natasha followed, the three of them standing in the shadow of the towering trees.
“Keep in contact,” Natasha said, her voice brisk. “If you find anything, call it in.”
Bucky gave a curt nod before heading east, his steps quick and purposeful. The forest was dense, the underbrush tangling around his boots and the canopy overhead blocking out most of the light. His enhanced senses sharpened, every sound and movement setting him on edge.
“Come on, Y/N,” he muttered under his breath, his eyes scanning the trees. “Give me something.”
The faint smell of smoke caught his attention first, acrid and metallic. He moved toward it, his heart pounding. As he pushed through the underbrush, the wreckage came into view.
The plane was mangled, its nose buried in the dirt and its wings twisted at unnatural angles. Smoke still curled from the fuselage, the acrid scent stinging his nose. Bucky’s breath caught as he took in the scene, his eyes darting over the wreckage for any sign of movement.
“Nat, I’ve found the plane,” he said into his comm, his voice tight.
“Any sign of Y/N?” Natasha’s voice crackled in his ear.
“Not yet,” he said, moving closer. “But I’m not leaving until I do.”
Bucky’s heart pounded as he approached the site, the wreckage stark against the green backdrop. Smoke curled into the air, and the unmistakable scent of burnt metal lingered. He moved silently, his enhanced senses on high alert.
“Come on, Doll,” he murmured under his breath, scanning the area. “Where are you?”
The first sign of life came in the form of muffled voices. Bucky crept closer, his body tensed for a fight. He spotted a group of armed men near the wreckage, their attention focused on something—or someone.
Y/N.
She was on her knees, her hands bound but her gaze defiant. A trickle of blood ran down her temple, but she didn’t look broken. If anything, she looked furious.
Bucky’s chest swelled with both pride and anger. He took a deep breath, steadying himself. One wrong move could put her in more danger. He had to be smart about this.
The fight was over in minutes. Bucky moved like a shadow, taking out the guards one by one. By the time the last man hit the ground, Y/N was already working to free herself.
“Bucky,” she breathed, relief and frustration mingling in her voice.
He was at her side in an instant, his metal hand snapping her restraints like they were nothing. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” she said, though her voice wavered. “But what the hell are you doing here?”
“I couldn’t just sit around and do nothing,” he admitted, his hands hovering over her, unsure where to touch. “I had to make sure you were safe.”
Her expression softened, the anger melting away. “You idiot,” she murmured, throwing her arms around him.
Bucky held her tightly, burying his face in her hair. “I’m sorry,” he whispered. “For what I said. For not stopping you. For everything.”
Y/N pulled back just enough to look at him, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. “You don’t have to apologize. I know you were just worried.”
“I can’t lose you,” he said, his voice raw. “Not now. Not ever.”
“You won’t,” she promised, her hand cupping his cheek. “I’m right here.”
They made their way back to the Quinjet, leaning on each other for support. Bucky couldn’t stop stealing glances at her, as if reassuring himself that she was really there.
Back at the tower, the rest of the team welcomed them with relieved smiles and teasing remarks. But Bucky didn’t let Y/N out of his sight, his hand always brushing against hers, his presence a constant reminder that she wasn’t alone.
Later, as they lay tangled together on the couch, Bucky pressed a kiss to her temple. “I’m never letting you go on a mission alone again,” he murmured.
Y/N chuckled, the sound soft and warm. “We’ll see about that.”
For now, though, they were together, and that was all that mattered.

Hope you enjoyed it, hun! 🫶

The sky outside the window was dark, the weight of the storm pressing against the glass as if the heavens themselves were mourning the brokenness of your heart. You could hear the rain tapping gently against the pane, a sound that should have been soothing, but instead it felt like a countdown. A ticking clock, reminding you that the inevitable was coming, and there was nothing you could do to stop it.
You were no stranger to pain. The weight of it had settled into your bones a long time ago. But the pain of this—this—was unlike anything you had ever known. It was as if the universe had taken your soul, twisted it into something unrecognizable, and then shattered it into a thousand pieces. You were lost in it, drowning in a sea of your own grief and regret.
And it was all his fault.
"Please," you whispered, your voice trembling with a mix of fear and desperation. "Please, don't do this."
Izuku Midoriya, the boy who had once been your everything, was standing before you, his face twisted in torment, his eyes distant, haunted. The pain radiated off him, as if he were carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. The boy who had once been so full of hope, of dreams of heroism, of saving everyone—was now a shell of that person, broken and lost.
He couldn’t save you. Not anymore.
His fists clenched, his body trembling as if every nerve was screaming at him to make a decision, to do something. Anything. But he was frozen. Unable to move, unable to breathe.
“I’m sorry,” Izuku whispered, his voice barely audible. “I’m so sorry, (Y/N).”
You wanted to scream at him, to tell him that his apologies meant nothing anymore. That the love you had once shared, the dreams you had once whispered together in the quiet of night, were now nothing more than hollow echoes. But instead, you held your breath, waiting for something—anything—that would make the pain stop.
"Please," you repeated, your voice cracking. "Don’t leave me like this. I can't... I can't breathe without you."
He took a hesitant step toward you, his eyes filled with unspeakable pain, but his body stiffened, his every movement filled with hesitation. You saw it in his eyes—the guilt, the regret, the inability to make the right choice. He was suffocating, just like you.
"You're not the problem," he said quietly, his words breaking through the thick silence that had consumed you both. "I am. I'm... I'm not who you need me to be. Not anymore."
A part of you wanted to reach out to him, to tell him that he was wrong. That he had always been enough. That the very reason you loved him was because of his imperfection, his humanity. But there was no point. The truth was there, hanging in the air between you, too heavy to ignore. You had both tried, hadn’t you? Tried to hold onto something that had long since slipped through your fingers. And now, it was all falling apart.
“Don’t say that,” you choked out, your throat closing up as you tried to fight back the tears. "You are. You always were enough."
He let out a broken laugh, the sound so bitter and hollow that it sent a chill straight through you. “I failed you, (Y/N). I failed you, and now... now you’re better off without me.”
The words sliced through you like a knife. How could he think that? How could he think you would ever be better off without him?
"I don’t want anyone else," you whispered, your hands trembling as you wiped the tears away, but they kept coming. “You’re my choice. You always have been.”
But the truth was clear. His guilt was too much. The weight of the decisions he had made, the lives he had failed to save, were crushing him. And no matter how much you wanted him to fight, to reach for you, to take the love you had left to offer—he couldn’t.
And you couldn’t blame him.
"Please," you said again, your voice barely above a whisper. “We can fix this. We can find a way to make it work—together."
But even as you said the words, you knew it was a lie. You had both tried. You had both given everything you had to make it work, and yet, here you were. Broken. Destined to live in a world where love wasn’t enough. Where even the purest intentions could never shield you from the consequences of your choices.
Izuku's face crumpled in on itself, his eyes filling with tears, his hand shaking as he reached out toward you. But just as quickly as the motion started, it stopped. His hand fell to his side as he took another step back.
"I'm so sorry," he whispered, and you could hear the finality in his voice. "I'm not the person you need me to be. Not anymore."
Your heart shattered in that moment. Not because he was right—not because he wasn't trying—but because you both knew. Deep down, you both knew that this was it. You had reached the point where no amount of love, no amount of hope, could save you.
You had tried. He had tried.
And now, you were both standing on the precipice, staring into the abyss that was your future.
The night stretched on in silence, the air thick with all the things you couldn’t say. The rain outside beat against the window as if trying to drown out the unbearable ache in your chest. You wanted to scream, to beg him to stay, to tell him that no matter how broken he was, you would always be there for him.
But the truth was, the love you shared was dying. It had been dying for a while now. And there was nothing you could do to bring it back to life.
Izuku took a final, trembling breath, and without a word, he turned away from you. Every step he took away from you felt like a part of yourself was being ripped away.
You stood there, rooted to the spot, unable to move, unable to speak, as the door closed behind him with a soft, final click.
And in that moment, the storm outside seemed to swallow you whole.
Days passed in a blur of endless pain. You tried to move on, tried to find a way to pick up the pieces of yourself that had been torn apart. But there was no moving on. No escaping the weight of your broken heart. No escaping the reality that Izuku Midoriya was gone.
You couldn’t stop thinking about him. His eyes, filled with that unspeakable sorrow. His voice, shaking as he whispered his apologies. You had tried to convince yourself that it would be easier to let go, that it would hurt less over time. But it never did. The pain only grew, eating away at you, until you could no longer tell where you ended and the grief began.
And so, you found yourself in the same place, again and again—staring out the window, waiting for something that would never come. Because deep down, you knew the truth: some loves were never meant to be. Some endings were never meant to be happy. And no matter how hard you fought for it, no matter how much you wished for it, you and Izuku were always going to be two stars that were destined to burn out before they ever had the chance to collide.
And that thought alone, that haunting truth, was enough to drown you.

TreeHouse Chapter 5
"We are not family."
Summary: Chris' first day in public school.
"First-day jitters are real, and they're not exactly butterflies, more like a swarm of angry bees."
⚠️This Fic Series will NOT be for people with triggers. This Fic Series will have very descriptive moments of abuse.⚠️
Please Read At Your Own Risk.
Chris' POV:
It was my first day of school. I had a fresh cut on my arm because Matthew came home upset after the game. Nick held me down, and Matt relieved his anger issues. It wasn't as bad as other times, only because our mom came in and reminded him I was going to be around other people today. She didn't care about me. I was wearing my long-sleeved shirt to cover the fresh wounds and jeans to hide the old burn marks. I had my book bag, and I felt more nervous than anything. Matt and Nick have already left. I had to take the bus, which wasn't bad. The bus was going to be time away from all of them. I was slowly walking to the bus stop with my hoodie over my face. Nick hit me in the mouth and split my lip last night when I squirmed from the pain. I tried my best to clean it up and make it not noticeable, but some things just were no matter what I did. I saw a group of kids ahead of me at the bus stop, so I waited, unsure of how to join the group without questions. None of them have ever seen me before. I spent years in my room chained to the wall with nothing but a shred of hope.
"Why won't you tell me what happened?" A guy asked his girl friend.
"Because I don't want to talk about it without Julia." The bus pulled up, saving her from the conversation for just a moment. I started walking to file in at the back of the line of students.
"Never seen you before." The driver said as I stepped up the stairs. I slowly lifted my head to look at him, not sure what kind of response he was looking for.
"I'm new." I whispered. I didn't want to say the wrong thing. I shuffled my feet down the skinny aisle slowly.
"Take a seat." The attention directed at me started pounding my heart. I looked up to see what seats were open. I locked eyes with a girl with brown doe eyes in the back of the bus. She was the girl who didn't want to talk to her friend at the stop. She stood up fast upon seeing me. I looked back into her eyes, trying to understand why she was standing. She was beautiful. "Please take a seat!" The driver yelled a little harsher. She sat down with her mouth slightly agape. I sat randomly beside some strange kid and kept my head down. As the bus pulled into the parking lot drop-off, I started to regret being excited about school. I flowed off with the kids and went to hide in a corner away from everyone until the first bell rang. I wasn't sure how anything truly worked for public schools. I was bound to mess up, and one mess-up was all it took.
I looked around and saw Matt and Nick talking and laughing. I felt a tingly sensation in my gut. Matt caught me looking his way and glared at me. I quickly looked in the opposite direction and saw the girl from the bus with her friend and another girl. The two were laughing, but she wasn't. She was staring off into space. She snapped out of it because the bell rang in everyone's ears. I had to stop off at the office to get my schedule. Luckily, no one in the office questioned why I didn't start school with Nick and Matt. They just handed me a few used books and a schedule. I stared at it, trying to figure out how to read it. I desperately wanted to ask them for help or directions, but the lump in my throat burned my words before they could surface. I started walking down the halls aimlessly.
"Need help?" I turned around to see the girl's friend. He was tall and sporty.
"Yeah." I hesitantly handed him my schedule, and he peered over it.
"Ah." He boomed. I jumped and gripped my books tighter. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you. You have the first period here. And then after you'll go back this way and head to the first door on the left. There." He pointed around the hallway we were standing in.
"Thanks." I snatched my papers back and started in the direction of my first class. I slid in just in time for the bell to go off.
"Late. No hoods in class. Sit." I avoided eye contact with the teacher as I followed every direction. I could feel them looking at me harder. "Christopher, right?" They moved to be standing in front of my chosen desk. I slowly lifted my head. "Nice to have you in class." They said softer than their initial tone. I jumped back into my seat when she moved her hand in front of me. She eyed me. "What can anyone tell me about The French Revolution." She continued waltzing around students. I was just pleased I didn't have this class with Nick or Matt. I listened and tried to understand every date, name, and piece of information being said, but the truth was that none of this made sense.
I didn't learn much growing up. In the basement, I was allowed to watch a few movies and read books, even though I wasn't sure how to read some of them. I tried my best to learn what I could from Matt and Nick whenever they were around me. It was always hard because they were never hanging out with me or being nice to me. They played with me, but never in a childish manner. The bell rang, and I dropped my book. "Try to relax." The teacher picked up the book for me. "I know it's your first day, but it'll get better." She handed me the book with a smile. I examined her face for a moment, trying to see her intentions before accepting the book back in my hand. I started walking down the crowded hallway to my next class. It was gym, so I was hoping I'd be able to get away with not wearing a school uniform, at least for today.
"You can watch today if you'd like. The school is aware of your condition."
"My condition?" I started panicking. If they knew and called my parents, it wouldn't end well. My parents would think I told someone something and blame me.
"The germ thing. It said it sometimes makes you a little weaker, so I thought today you could just watch. Get to know the class a little." They were super accommodating. "You can put your bookbag in the locker room." They nodded me in the right direction. I followed their instructions and walked into the doorless room and saw everyone laughing, changing, and putting their things away. I walked around looking for a locker to claim. It wasn't until I saw him that I froze.
"Woah, you guys look like -"
"Brothers." Nick finished.
"No way, there are three of you?" Someone else said. I felt my body heating up.
"Yeah, but he is younger." Nick looked angry all the attention was on us. I was frozen. My eyes looked around the room for an escape, but all I kept finding was a new pair of eyes watching us.
"Sup, Little Nicky." Someone tossed something at me. I dropped down to my knees and started sniffling.
"What -"
"Everyone out!" Nick yelled. People started scattering. I stayed on my knees with my head out of sight. I knew this wasn't going to end well. The chattering noise stopped. "Stand the fuck up!" He yelled. I slowly rose, my knees shaking violently once I was all the way up.
"I'm... I... I'm sor-" I stuttered, my tears at the corner of my mouth.
"Shut up." He demanded, and I jumped. He grabbed my arms before I had a chance to come back down from my jump and slammed me into the lockers with a loud bang. I whimpered, scared of the beating that was coming. "You will not fuck anything up for me. Do you understand?" His question was rhetorical. "Now everyone knows we are brothers because you are in school, but we are not family. You don't talk to me. Got it?" He screamed so close to my face I could feel his lips brushing my nose. "I asked if you got it?" He smacked the side of my face with his palm. I could feel the sting lingering. My ear was ringing.
"Yes, Nick." I whimpered.
"Don't fucking talk about me to anyone either." He said, walking out of the locker room. I knew then no matter what I did, my second-period class was always going to be the worst.
A/N Soooo? What's the vibe?

But when he walks in, I am loved. | Kang dae-ho x Park Min-su.
Summary; Where Min-su feels completely out of place among these people, honestly, he just wished they would all just leave him alone. But.. a particular player caught his eye, one that wasn’t like the others, enough to make his little heart beat faster but not in a ‘I need to get out of here’ way.
Info; Feelings realization, Dae-ho just being nice, Min-su and his social anxiety, Min-su has a bad self esteem, fluff!! Conversations, and honestly just Daemin being cuties<3
Notes; y’all PLEASE hear me out on them, I saw someone on tiktok make a video of them to me and my husband by mitski (@/lapafun) AND I IMMEDIATELY GOBBLED IT UP LIKE 🙏🙏 they’d actually be so cute.
These games were nothing short of terrifying to Min-su, he knew something was off when he was offered that card after winning a game of ddakji against a well-dressed man. But.. it would relieve his debt, Min-su assumed. He needed this money.
He regretted it as soon as the first game went by, he joined a small group that the purple haired man called "Thanos’ group." Min-su was only really there because he was afraid to be alone, he was scared of everyone there, except for Se-mi.
Se-mi was the only nice person albeit a bit nonchalant, she was understanding and didn’t invade his personal space. Unlike the other two there, and well.. gyeong seok was just there, like him.
Today was stressful, more stressful than Min-su would ever like to remember. His stomach churned as he remembered having to play gong-gi, he liked it, don’t get him wrong. But having to play it with a gun to your head isn’t fun.
He poked at his food as he remembered the blood staining the floor, he hated remembering that. He wished he was brave enough to stand up for himself and to just press that stupid 'X' button to get out of here.
His mind was wandering off mindlessly, like always. Surveying the crowd, until his gaze fell on someone, a smiling someone. Min-su would think he never saw a smile so genuine and warm, that guy looked nice. His friends were lucky to have him for sure.
He didn’t ponder much on it, setting his food aside and leaning against the wall, he hugged his knees, hoping nobody would coming to bother him. Thanos or Nam-gyu. After five minutes or so, though. He felt a weight plop down on his bed and he knew it was probably either one of them.
He lifted his head up, and was met with that same smiling guy from minutes ago. It slightly startled him as he held his gaze before averting it, this is awkward.
"Sorry- I didn’t mean to startle you, I just noticed you were all by yourself and thought you might as well need company, only for a bit, if that is." Min-su was surprised by his words, so.. he only thought he looked lonely?
He thought about it for a minute before nodding, earning a genuine smile from the other. And his chest tugged at him again, he felt weird, why was his body reacting like this?
“Oh, and by the way, my name is Dae-ho, Kang Dae-ho." He introduced himself, and his words rang in Min-su’s mind, he would definitely keep his name and remember it for later. “What’s yours?” Dae-ho seemed to have noticed Min-su didn’t talk much, he was the one asking most of the questions or just talking overall, but it was comfortable in a way Min-su didn’t mind.
".. Park Min-su" He finally said quietly, he felt warm inside when Dae-ho said something out loud about being nice to meet him. “I like your name! Hey, maybe we can be friends, right? My bunk is not that far from yours or at least I hope it isn’t and we can chat from time to time.” He offered.
.. Chat? Not many people wanted to chat with Min-su, most just thought he was too weird and awkward so his conversations unless it was with Se-mi, were extremely brief. But even as he was about to deny, he met Dae-ho’s expectant gaze, and his mouth answered contrary to what his mind wanted.
“Uh I-.. sure.” He nodded, did he seriously agree to this? Well, Min-su wasn’t a very interesting person overall, he was sure Dae-ho would forget him very soon. His head snapped to the sound of the man’s name being called, and Dae-ho apologized as he stood.
“Sorry about this, duty calls!” He said jokingly with a chuckle as he began moving away from the bunk, waving as he looked back. “Bye, Min-su!” And Min-su was left alone again as he dumbly waved back longer than he intended to. He felt that weird tug in his chest again, it wasn’t like something he felt usually. Dae-ho made him feel.. more seen, in a way.
It sounded ridiculous, Min-su just met him after all. But the way his chest eased just a bit when Dae-ho came and talked to him wasn’t something Min-su totally ignored. Dae-ho really was a kind soul, after all. He didn’t only look like one. And Min-su liked that.
Min-su liked that a lot.

It was one thing to hurt himself, but to see her here, tending to him as if he deserved any of this care—this kindness—made the weight of everything feel unbearable. "I know," Leo murmured, voice rasping like broken glass. His words scratched at his throat, raw with truth he couldn’t hide. "I never wanted to put you in this place, cleaning up my mess." The silence hung thick, suffocating in its weight. He tried to find the words to explain, but the space between them felt endless, filled with confusion and something deeper—something undeniable, a bond he couldn’t escape no matter how hard he tried.
It was time to speak the truth, even if it made no sense to her. Better that than to let her think he was just a ticking time bomb, driven by anger. "Walking away would’ve been easy," Leo said, wincing at the sting in his knuckle, "but how would that have kept you safe?" His gaze dropped, shoulders heavy with regret. "So he treats you like that, speaks to you like that—like you're weaker, smaller, and nothing happens? He keeps doing it, knowing he can, because the system doesn't care. They’d call the cops, and nothing would change."
His voice lowered, softer now, but the pain still bled through. "I needed him to remember. Needed him to know that if he ever came after you, this is what he’d face. Even if it meant making things worse." It wasn’t an excuse—he knew that. But he needed to make an impression, to stop the cycle. To make sure the man knew there would be consequences. But it wasn’t working. He had no illusions of that now.
"Look," Leo said, his hands finding hers, calloused thumbs brushing across her skin, "I’m sorry for scaring you. For not being who you needed me to be." His voice cracked with the weight of his confession. "Just know that in that moment, I was in control. Maybe I shouldn’t have gone that far, but sometimes, I guess, that’s how I teach a lesson.” His gaze lifted, searching for her eyes, desperate to show her that he was still him—that Leo hadn’t disappeared into the chaos. His intentions were never to hurt her, but to protect her. To keep her safe. He wasn’t just some fool driven by rage. He cared for her more than words could say, more than he'd ever let himself admit. “I am lucky you’re right… Luckier if you had a nurse outfit on while doing this” the male smirked, trying to lighten the mood ever so slightly. He wasn’t sure if it was the right time but he wanted to show her that Leo was right there despite everything she might believe right now.
Aida knelt in front of him, taking his hand gently and inspecting the bruises and cuts. She met his gaze, her eyes searching his face as she worked on cleaning up his bruises. "A couple of years.. its nothing special but enough for me. I fell in love with the view." she smiled softly as she explained why she had chosen this place. Her movements were careful, but she couldn’t help but glance up at him every now and then, catching those dark eyes of his watching her. She wasn’t sure if he was looking at her with regret, guilt, or just exhaustion, but it didn’t matter. She needed to focus on him, on fixing what was broken, if only for tonight. Her fingers brushed over the sterile cotton pads and antiseptic. As she gently dabbed at his split lip now, she felt his gaze on her again, the weight of it pulling her in. “I didn’t want to see you like this, Leo,” she said quietly, the words slipping from her mouth before she could stop them. “still, I’m glad you’re here. Even if it’s messy, even if it doesn’t make sense.” she meant it, but the frustration was still there, simmering beneath the surface.
"But you didn't have to go that far- not for me. You could've just walked away... called the police. Anything but this." She glanced up at him again, her expression soft but serious. "This... this wasn’t you, Leo. At least not the Leo i used to know. You scared me." Aida paused for a moment, looking at him closely, unsure whether he was still with her in the same way, or if his mind was somewhere else. But she didn’t wait for an answer. She carefully cleaned his cuts and bruises, her hands steady, if not a little trembling as she focused on the small task of patching him up.
As she finished tending to his wounds, she placed a gentle hand on his knee, her fingers brushing against his skin. "You're lucky I'm here to patch you up," she said, her voice softening. "But don’t think this means I’m letting you off the hook."

long tag ramble below u have been warned
#ok i feel like i should say Something before i start being active again#but i dont want it to be a Statement which is why i’m putting it in the tags#(also bc i procrastinated doing this for weeks so i know this is a very stale topic by now#but i also haven’t been on tumblr literally at all so this is 100% my organic authentic opinion lmao)#so read if you gaf and ignore if you don’t#anyway: george def could’ve done more to ensure she was comfortable#and as someone who has also gotten in over my head with older men and regretted it#her hurt is valid and i’m deeply sorry she feels the way she does about that night#but with that said i see no reason to believe george Should have known how she really felt#or that he deliberately took advantage of either her youth/inexperience or her discomfort#and that’s the most important thing for me— he fucked up and misread a situation but that doesn’t make him an evil person#and i hope they can both move on and grow and heal#as for my future in the fandom: i honestly dunno how active i’ll be going forward#i was already becoming pretty disconnected so this might’ve just sped up the process? i’m tired of being put through the wringer#but i also don’t really have a fandom to replace this so i might just continue casually participating in the way i have been#either way rest assured i will never become a rabid anti. that shits embarrassing#i got HORRIBLE drolo rsd the other day when tommy’s mom needed clout and vagued him so like if nothing else. droloisms are forever#also as a last thing— this feels kinda silly and self centered to say but i will anyway#sorry for not opening up my blog as a forum for discussion again the way i did with the drituation#i know i helped a lot of people sort out their feelings and that was (and is) really really important to me#but it also tanked my mental health (mostly as a result of the fallout and not the act itself but still)#plus my life irl was pretty stressful at the time when everything was first going down#so i just didn’t feel up to putting myself through that again#but i’m sorry if anyone wanted to discuss w me but wasn’t able to#anyway. i think that’s all i have to say!#i don’t want to turn this into a capital D discussion but as always my askbox and dms are open#love you all tons! i hope you’re having a good day 🫂🫶#bella talks

everytime i think im done ranting i remember something else LMFAO this one is extra long i hit tag limit god mf damn
#self#for instance.....my mom wants me to cut off everyone who is still tied to the school#and im so mad at myself for feeling a certain type of way when the campus manager called me not too long ago basically to tell me she doesnt#trust the girl who did this shit and she wasnt mad at me but was also mad at me for bringing her to her dads house#for reference we were trying to get a cat from the campus managers dads house LMFAO#and i honestly cannot wait to speak to her again and be like 😔 god dammit you were right like you were every single time#i just dont understand the wiring in her head to think the shit she says and does to people is normal and okay and how she doesnt realize it#is literally a mental health break. when i finally told my mom the first thing she said was shes probably off her medication#which.....probably isnt wrong sadly coming from someone who has borderline and very easily can lose it#but the difference is i dont give in to the urges to try to hurt everyone around me in every way i can#and me and her have said before that we thought she might also have borderline because we were very similar#but god damn does she love proving that if she has it its extremely severe or its something else entirely#on an honest note. shes incredibly narcissistic and i know her mom is part of the reason shes that way bc she was given princess treatment#her entire fucking life and then doesnt understand when other people dont treat her the same way#i hate rambling about this and i hate it that it is bothering me so fucking bad but like ???#if youre going to decide that you can put our past aside period and move on then fucking do that and stop bringing the past up as a way to#hurt me and the people around you???? she acts like shes not done horrible fucking things to people. so sorry i wrote a letter that was very#honest at the time. so sorry that when you found out i apologized for it and said i regret it because 2 weeks after my apology i no longer#regret writing it. if its making school a living hell for you....theres probably a reason for that girlfriend#i am not the person who put that shit in your folder#though i seriously fucking doubt its actually in her folder shes probably assuming it is#and youre the one who made a complete ass of yourself to every educator that ever stepped foot in that building#that has nothing to do with me that you are a literal warning given to every new educator!!!! i havent even been in school there in months#yet IM the problem??? how am i the problem when i graduated in fucking january???? everything since then falls on you#AND YET AGAIN! MIGHT I MENTION! IT IS NOT JUST MY LETTER!!! THERES AT LEAST 2 OTHER ONES!!!!!#BECAUSE IM NOT THE ONLY PERSON SHE DOES THIS SHIT TO!!!!#god sometimes i sit back and realize that theres a reason she regresses as a person and i do not#im not going to sit still anymore and let someone walk all over me and she can thank herself for that#shes who taught me that blocking and running as fast as i can doesnt fix anything#so here we are bitch. youre not blocked and im sure youre sitting at home thinking about how youre right about everything

Oh, look, really relatable given what I spent the last three hours doing lol.
Obsessed with how Tolkien and his fandom seem to share exactly the same sentiments about his work
[ID: two photos of a page printed in the front matter of the Silmarillion, titled “From a letter by J.R.R. Tolkien to Milton Waldman, 1951.” Highlighted in yellow are the lines “It is difficult to say anything without saying too much: the attempt to say a few words opens a floodgate of excitement” and “I shall inflict some of this on you; but I will append a mere résumé of its contents: which is (may be) all that you want or will have use or time for.” In the second photo, from further down the page and regarding Tolkien’s extensive attention to linguistics, is also highlighted the line “Not all will feel this as important as I do, since I am cursed by acute sensibility in such matters.” /end ID]
#sorry A. but you said you liked it so I regret nothing#tolkien + personal#quixoticanarchy#miscellanea

just practice part 2
part 1!
pairings! bsf!jj x reader
in which! you cant stop thinking about the night you lost your virginity to jj…. even though you have a boyfriend
warnings! 18+ smut. cheating. fingering. oral sex (m. recieving) pnv sex. unprotected sex. not proof read.
it had been two months since you lost your virginity to jj and almost a month and a half since you started officially dating your new boyfriend.
he was nice. he took you out to eat once a week, he bought you small gifts, he complimented you and you never argued. but the sex was just…bad. it was always over way too quickly and he never payed any attention to your body or what you wanted. you figured he was just one of those boys who was too scared to go down on a girl, which was fine, but it probably wouldn’t suit you in the long run.
you hadn’t been hanging around your friends very often, usually turning them down to go out with your boyfriend and jj was getting increasingly frustrated with this.
but every time you were around your friends, jj in particular, you couldn’t even look him in the eye. when you talked to him, all you thought about was the way he called you baby when he came on your stomach and the way he made you cum on his face. you felt so completely guilty for these thoughts, but nothing would stop them. you figured the best plan of action was to avoid him. not entirely, but just try not to be around him alone.
but, you did end up alone with jj by mistake one afternoon.
you had just finished surfing with kie as the swell had come in that day. you both planned to stay at the beach a little longer, but you were hungry and didn’t have any food. kie decided to go pick up something from the heyward’s shop and you went back to the chateau to grab a six pack, only to find jj working on his bike, his shirt off and his shorts dirty, probably from engine oil.
you didn’t say anything as you walked up the steps to the porch, but jj noticed you and called out.
“hey, y/n!” he yelled, wiping his hands off on a towel and throwing it on his bike. “thought you were gonna stay at the shore until later?”
you were in your damp bikini top and bottoms and a pair of sandals. you turned around at the sound of his voice and met his gaze.
“yeah..” you said. awkwardly. “i am, i was just grabbing some beers.” you turn back around, pulling open the screen door and stepping inside. once you’re in the kitchen with the refrigerator door cracked, you hear jj come into the château after you.
“what’s going on with you?” he asks, standing in the living room. you shut the refrigerator and look over at him with furrowed brows.
“what do you mean?” you question, although you knew exactly what he meant. you didn’t expect the confrontation to happen now of all times.
“don’t act like you don’t know.” he crosses his arms over his chest. “you’ve been weird around me ever since we..”
you didn’t want to hear him say it.
“jj, i’ve just been hanging around my boyfriend a lot,” you try to defend yourself, hoping he’ll stop questioning you. “i’m sorry i haven’t been talking to you. ‘been busy.”
he nods, biting his lip and looking down at the floor.
“do you regret it?” he asks, looking back up at you.
“what?” you shake your head. “no, i just-“
“you promised you wouldn’t make things weird between us and now you barely even talk to me.” jj said. “you sure i didn’t do something wrong?”
“no jj!” your voice raised slightly. “i-“ you cut yourself off, not knowing what to say. “it’s just that every time i try and talk to you, i think about what we did.” you blurt out, almost making it sound like you both murdered someone and hid the body. you made it sound like a crime, and it pogue rules, it technically was. “i thought that avoiding you was gonna take my mind off it until i got over it.”
he walks closer to the kitchen, tossing his hat somewhere on the counter.
“so you do regret it?” he questions, leaning against the counter and looking straight at you.
you shake your head no.
“i don’t, but it’s kind of wrong of me to think about you while my boyfriend’s fucking me.”
you realized what you said after it had already left your mouth and your eyes widened.
“what’d you say?” he asks, cocking his head a little at your admission, a barely visible smile playing on his lips.
“uh-“
you quickly turn around to open the fridge again, looking for some beers to take and get the hell up out of there.
“no, say it again.” jj pulls your arm, twisting you back around to face him so that your bodies were dangerously close together. your face flushed with embarrassment and your heart was thumping out of your chest.
“jj,” you say, shrugging off his touch. “i really gotta go back to the shore.” you say, but you weren’t moving. jj knew that wasn’t what you really wanted.
“i’m not stopping you.” he pulled back from you and leaned against the counter once again, showing that you had free will to leave, but you still didn’t budge. your feet were glued in place.
you wanted to kiss him so bad and get that ridiculous smile off his lips, but the thought of your boyfriend who did little to please you was the only thing that was keeping you from doing it. you bit the inside of your cheek, nervously. the tension between you two was going to make your head explode.
“he doesn’t fuck you like i do, does he?”
his words were your final straw.
you grabbed both sides of his face and instantly connected you lips with his. he kissed you back without a second thought, wrapping his arms around your waist. he backed you into the refrigerator as his lips moved perfectly with yours.
his fingers trailed down your hips and to your clothed core. he pulled away from the kiss to look at you, silently asking for permission for him to touch you, and you gave it.
still having you against the refrigerator’s surface, he skillfully moved your bikini bottoms to the side as two of his fingers sunk into your entrance. you were embarrassingly soaked already. you fight back a moan as he pulled out of you, just to slide right back in, hitting the spot he knew you needed.
“all this and i’ve barely even touched you?” he mocked, taking his fingers out of you and bringing them to his mouth. he looked you in the eyes as he sucked your slickness from his fingers. your lips were parted as you watched, desperately needing his hands on you again.
he then picked you up, his hands hooked under your thighs. you giggled as he carried you to the bedroom, kicking the door closed.
he gently placed you on the bed and reconnected his lips with yours, his tongue swiping yours. you reached to work on his belt, swiftly undoing it and pulling it off while never breaking the kiss. you slid his shorts down, his boxers barely hiding his desperation for you.
you palm him through the fabric, eliciting a groan from him against your lips that you needed to hear more of.
you sunk to your knees in front of him, yanking his boxers down and allowing his painfully hard cock to spring free. you took him in your hand, pumping a few times before your tongue poked through your lips to lick a long stripe from the base of his shaft to the tip.
he gently grabbed your hair, trying to pull you away, but you licked him again, which loosened his grip.
“you don’t have to-“ his eyes rolled back as you finally took him all in your mouth, hollowing out your cheeks as you sucked his cock. your hands were placed on his knees. the moan you heard from him encouraged you to keep going, although his tip was hitting the back of your throat and you were trying hard not to gag. “fuck- baby, you don’t have to do this.”
you pull him from your mouth, a string of spit connecting your lips with his tip.
“i want to.” you say before taking him in your mouth again. he tries to keep his eyes locked with yours, but his head falls back in pleasure, his fingers lacing into your hair.
you only knew how to do this because your boyfriend showed you. you had to keep your eyes closed the whole time so you could pretend it was jj.
his breathing was getting heavier with each rise and fall of his chest as soft moans and strings of curses fell from his lips. he couldn’t help but thrust his hips forward, forcing his cock farther into your mouth. there were tears brimming your eyes as you tried to focus on pleasuring him.
“fuck- m’not gonna last much longer like this.” he said.
you kept going, desperately wanting to bring him over the edge, but he pulled your hair back, taking you off of him.
“gotta stop you, princess.” he grabbed your hands and helped you up from your knees. you sat on the bed, pouting. he stood over you, brushing your hair out of your face and noticing your change of attitude. “didn’t wanna cum like that.”
as much as you wished you could make him cum by sucking him off, you couldn’t complain now that he was giving you attention.
his hands guided themselves to your waist, where he then told you to turn around so you were now on your hands and knees, your ass facing him. he was still standing as he held your hips from the edge of the bed. you felt his tip at your entrance.
“this okay?” he asked.
you give him a yes, and then you feel him slowly enter you. it felt so much different than when he had been on top of you before. there was a slight pain due to how much deeper he could push into you from this angle, but the pain melted into pleasure within seconds.
he pulled out just to drive himself back into you. his pace was slow until you adjusted to the position, and then he steadily began going faster. his fingers dug into the sides of your ass, pulling you into him with every thrust.
as he went harder, you gripped the sheets and stuffed your face into the mattress under you, trying to keep yourself quiet, but you couldn’t stop the moans that escaped your lips.
“fuck-“ jj cursed under his breath, his grip on you getting even harder. “feel so good, can’t get enough of this pussy”
his words brought you closer and his pace increased. you could feel him getting tenser, his thrusts getting sloppier.
“could have you like this every day if i could- shit.”
you were almost over the edge, the knot in your stomach threatening to undo.
“fuck- m’gonna cum princess” he moaned.
his last thrusts were deep and slow and they led you into perfect ecstasy. you came undone around his cock, moaning into the sheets right in time for him to pull out and finish on your back- your name leaving his mouth with curses and moans.
your body was limp when he cleaned your back with a towel, still in a haze from your orgasm.
“you okay?” he asked, running a hand down the middle of your back, feeling the ridges of your spine.
you nodded and sat up, grabbing your bikini from the floor and slipping it back on.
“kie is gonna kill me.” you say, slipping your sandals on your feet. “she’s not gonna believe any excuse i try to give her.”
“i’ll drive you down there.” jj offered. “i mean- are your legs alright to walk all the way to the shore or-“
you threw his shirt at his face and scoffed at him.
you had agreed to let him drive you to the beach while you fixed your hair in the visor mirror, trying to make yourself look presentable. although the whole way there you could only think about the words he said while he fucked you. you had no idea if he meant it or if it was just a thing he said in the moment. and this definitely wasn’t going to help save your thoughts about your boyfriend.
a/n: don’t know if i will write a part 3 to this, but requests are open for any jj or rafe fic!
