"Before I met you, I didn't think that I was even capable of real happiness. But that all changed when you walked into my life. And I ended up breaking the first rule of undercover work." "Which is?" "Never fall in love."
What do you mean Randall said that and not Stone??

i cant help but notice that in the version of the ending where sage doesnt "die" and gets to go home with eggman shes not flashing between color palettes shes white and blue the whole time in that scene . and in all sonic channel art of sage thats been released since the final horizon dlc came out shes been in her white and blue color palette. is that just what she looks like permanently now ..?
#ngl i kinda like the black and red color scheme better ...... BUT ill take what i can get im happy shes been getting art and stuff at all#theres been 3 instances of sage getting sonic channel art iirc and the first one had her in her black and red palette#but that came out in late 2022 before the dlc ending came out and the other 2 were released late 2023-early 2024#after the dlc story came out#and then theres also the fact that her official plush is black nad red and she was black and red in her cameo in murder of sonic#but those were both made before the dlc story came out so its still unclear i think?#it could just be a coincidence. since again theres only been 3 sonic channel pictures of her total.#idk i guess we'll find out if sage ever gets more content#they seem to like making sonic channel art of her so im sure we'll get more stuff eventually. whether its just more art#or an actual appearance in a game/comic or somehthing#sonic frontiers spoilers

Also this unprompted hug attack in the second movie after Tails barely even knew Sonic for an entire day. Though, to be fair, it was brought on by Sonic saying Tails is his friend, probably the only one he had in his whole life.
For today's Wholesome Sonic and Tails Wednesday, may I present:
Tails having friends doesn't mean he's not autistic, or, How Having Zero Social Skills Will Accidentally Get You Adopted
(It's a little long but we'll get there, I promise)
Okay so I read a comment by someone basically saying that Tails can't be autistic because he has social skills and I? just? can't?
First off, yes, autistic people can have social skills. While it is a common symptom to not understand "normal" social cues, autism is a spectrum, and some autistic people have skills which others don't. Along with that, many autistics have learned to mask and imitate neurotypical behavior because of being bullied/punished when they act differently, or because they're trying so hard to fit in. So that in of itself is not proof someone isn't autistic.
Second, where are you getting that Tails has social skills?
Tails doesn't have social skills. Tails has FRIENDS. There's a difference.
You might ask, "How can someone make friends without having social skills?" Well for starters, I think there are a lot of decent people who are willing to be accepting of people who have a little trouble with social skills.
But the main reason Tails has made so many friends without social skills is that NO OTHER CHARACTER IN THIS WHOLE FRANCHISE HAS ANY. Most of the characters are neurodivergent coded, and even those who aren't still have zero social skills. You're telling me that in a world with Sonic the ADHD king, Knuckles the "a punch in the face is a warning" Echidna, and freaking Shadow, Tails is the one going to have trouble making friends? The entire Sonic the Hedgehog crew has exactly one social skill between them, and generally Amy has it. The characters just understand that people have trouble socializing. Maybe that's why they found each other. In my experience, we "odd" people tend to flock to each other. And once we've formed our weird little groups, who needs social skills?
But to show that Tails has very little social skills (and to prove you don't need them) let's analyze his first interaction with Sonic.
To start with, before meeting Sonic, Tails is just wandering around alone and bullied. Little guy, all alone, can't make a friend to save his life.
And then comes Sonic.
Depending on the version of backstory we're looking at, we have:
Tails spots Sonic, decides he's cool, and starts following him around until he finds his plane, which he then fixes and repaints without asking. Sonic shows up and is like, cool, you can come with.
Stalking will get you adopted, folks
Actual dialogue: "You looked cool, so I followed you, and when I found your plane, I figured I'd fix it up and we could be friends!"
Or Tails being bullied, Sonic runs by and stops it, and then again Tails just starts following him around until Sonic decides he can come with.
And the there's the movie version, where Tails, who's been remotely spying on Sonic for a years, shows up and HITS KNUCKLES WITH A STOLEN POLICE CAR, tells Sonic to jump in, and Sonic does because he's afraid for his life, upon which Tails proceeds to excitedly rant about how excited he is because he's literally meeting his special interest.
Also the version where Tails just falls on Sonic's head:
Does any of this scream "social skills" to you?
And in all these situations Sonic, who has zero social skills himself, just adopts him on the spot because that's just... who he is? This dude just wants to help everyone. Half his friend group have introduced themselves by trying to kill him, but he's willing to make friends anyway. And then those friends become Tails's friends, because he and Sonic give off classic "extrovert adopting an introvert" vibes (I'm not sure that Sonic is actually an "extrovert", but he's def. more open and better at making friends).
TL;DR: Having social skills doesn't make you not autistic, but even if it does, Tails doesn't have social skills, he just has a great big bro and a group of people with even less social skills than him

GUYS, I FINALLY WENT TO SONIC MOVIE 3!!!🎉
It's me with Amy Rose:3
This is my little brother with a Tails:3
It was yesterday, January 18th. Why is it so late? Because I live in Russia-_- The premiere in Russia took place on January 16, 2025💀 Although the premiere in the CIS is on December 26, 2024. But it was the Russian Sonic fans who were unlucky...
Why is the premiere so late in Russia? Because our distributors wanted to make room for our domestic films, so that Russian films would earn a lot of money, and not foreign ones. And they chose the New Year holidays because it is a very profitable period. Yes, it looks pathetic😂 That's how uncompetitive Russian cinema is. Instead of making normal films, they take the place of foreign films🤡 If you've been wondering why I haven't posted anything about the movie for a long time, then here's why...
In short, I LIKED IT!❤️ I was experiencing different emotions and didn't notice how quickly time flew by😭 There were cringe moments and jokes that needed to be cut out... I like that the film has a constant plot and epic! Literally the first 5-7 minutes and there are chases, fights, actions and a plot! There are few unnecessary moments compared to the previous parts. In short, a well-deserved 8/10🫶 At the moment, in my opinion, it's the best movie in this franchise! ABSOLUTE CINEMA!🙌
Sonic movie (2020) - 6/10
Sonic movie 2 (2022) - 7/10
Sonic movie 3 (2024) - 8/10
IT'S JUST MY OPINION!🙏
Today, on January 19th, I watched the movie because I couldn't hold back. But I watched the original movie for Keanu Reeves as Shadow and IT'S PERFECT!
And also Next to my brother and me was a girl, about my age, with a medium-sized stuffed Sonic:3 We looked at each other and laughed. It's funny and fun😅 Sonic fans think the same way😌 At the beginning of the movie, everyone and we both admired Shadow, and when the song "Leave and Learn" started at the end of the movie, she and I were in awe of shock. She took her Sonic and moved his arms as if he were dancing😁 It is very cute🥹 It was funny to watch her violent reactions😂 God, my dear, I understand how you feel🫂 And coincidentally, we sat down together:)) This is clearly fate!😭
My brother said to me, "Do you see, Vika? We are not alone"😂 It was a lot of fun! I will remember this day for a long time and I really want it back!🥲❤️🩹
For me, this trip to the movie is really important! Why? It was with the first movie that my acquaintance and immersion in the Sonic franchise began, and I liked the movie so much that I wanted to go to every new movie. And I thought that nothing would stop me, but a war broke out, followed by sanctions😞 I watched the movie at home in poor quality... The Russian dubbing of the film was shown in Kazakhstan. I was so upset then😭 It's only the second movie, and I couldn't go. I prayed that this would not happen with the third film. And I showed the greatest willpower in my life!💪 After the world premiere, I waited a MONTH for the Russian premiere so that the first viewing would be in the cinema. I'm also a fan of going to the cinema😃 I avoided everything related to the film as much as possible. The only spoilers I got against my will were the post-credits scene where Amy and Metal Sonic appeared. And if I was expecting Amy, then I was shocked by the appearance of Metal Sonic!😧 Personally, I didn't expect it...🫣
My younger brother and I will definitely go to Sonic 4 in the spring of 2027😄 I hope nothing's bothering us, PLEASE...😭🙏 When part 4 comes out, my brother will be 12 years old, and I'll be... 19, almost 20🥲
Thanks for reading!<3 Wait for more posts on Sonic movie 3.

Hey everyone reading,
I’m working on a fan video about “Yaoi of 2024”. And in need of assistance. Because I’m not in all the fandoms and not caught up in everything of everything.
Pls send me (ask box is open) raw original content of any of the following. I want screenshots, posters, video clippings, etc. BUT no fan works of any sort. Use “#2024yearofyaoi” so I can organize my inbox.
Arcane Jayce + Viktor
^ were there queer coded moments? sort of flirting?
The moment they “broke up”
+++
Bill Cipher + Ford
^ book screenshots of hints
mostly Book of Bill
Mabel’s comments.
~~~
Sonic movie
^ i heard that there’s something between that Eggman and other adult in black?? Idk my Sonic lore but I heard shippers had fun.
The recent Sonic 3 movie came out 2 days ago. I’m fine with posters and trailer clips.
+++
Spirk (Star Trek)
^ so i heard very recently that there was recent 2024 content.
give me anything that isn’t readily available from a YouTube Search
~~~~
Kagurabachi
^ if someone can explain what 2024 update made it queer (and provide proof), I will include this title
also let me know if the yaoi is doomed, old men, toxic, or a combo of any of them or none of them
if there was a break-up, I’ll also take it
UPDATE: let me know which content is “spoilers” and which isn’t. (Is it trailers content? Is it plot twist?)

I think you're right in the Sonic movies not trusting the game characters to hold the weight of their own story; I think that's why the villain emotional core shifted from Shadow to the Eggmen.
I liked the movie! I think they did a good job with the story they were trying to tell!
But I would have liked more of that story to have focused on Shadow than Eggman. (Although finishing an Eggman arc to send him off I completely understand, too.)
*nodnod*
I have a lot of criticisms for the Sonic movies, but I also enjoy them a lot. There's a lot of creative choices that I don't like that they made, that I wish had been made differently. But the choices they do make are executed on very well.
Generally speaking, for me, watching the Sonic movies is like reading an amazingly well-crafted, easily digestible, and emotionally captivating fanfic... for a ship you don't like. I don't like how they characterized that guy. I don't agree with how they're presenting the cast. Their OCs are hit and miss. And I am 100% invested, when next chapter.
Many notes. So many notes. But I am having a good time nonetheless. I don't like what they did but I love the way they did it.
Getting into spoiler territory to talk about Eggman.
With Eggman, it was kind of a miracle that they even got him for this movie. Carrey announced his retirement in 2022 alongside the release of Sonic 2, so there was a long stretch of time when nobody even knew if he would be in Sonic 3.
There is a parallel universe where Carrey stuck to his guns, and Eggman's Maybe-Maybe-Not finale in Sonic 2 was the end of him. In that universe, I think we probably would have gotten a much deeper dive into Shadow, who would have to carry the weight of the film on his own shoulders. Possibly with Gerald, played by a new actor.
For the film we got, in a way, Sonic 3 feels like it was tailored to be the final word, not just on Eggman's character but also on the decades-long career of goofy antics and physical comedy that Carrey became famous for.
I think that's part of what makes Eggman's silly yet moving final sacrifice feel as powerful as it does. This isn't just Eggman taking the ARK for his last ride. It feels like Carrey saying farewell to the career and fandom he's built up, and that context makes it all the more emotionally gripping.
It's a strong sendoff.
And it also comes at the expense of a deeper focus on Shadow, whose climax ends up feeling rushed. Basically looking Sonic in the eyes and going, "You were mad like I was mad but you didn't take revenge. I see now that revenge is wrong. Let's go save the world from my revenge."
Two things can be true.
It's interesting to note that the film uses Gerald as, essentially, Shadow the Eggman. An embittered shadow archetype of Eggman turned to vengeance by grief over Maria's loss, who serves as the ultimate foe that Eggman must overcome.
This is most obvious with the parallel fights Sonic and Eggman have with Shadow and Gerald at the end. But I also don't think the film interrogates that idea very thoroughly, and I'm kind of okay that it doesn't? It's too busy having fun to be that serious.
Like. In place of that deeper analysis into Shadow, this movie is unapologetically meta. It's so meta, Eggman and Gerald literally look into the camera and point out that the same actor is playing them both at one point.
Which is sort of the point? There's kind of a purposeful tonal clash in this movie between Team Sonic, Eggman, and Stone versus Shadow and Gerald. Shadow and Gerald are grim and serious characters, except when Gerald is playing off of Eggman. Eggman brings out the goofiness of Gerald, while Shadow has the inverse effect on Sonic. Shadow makes Sonic darker, edgier, and less fun.
I described it before as "like making fart noises in a mortuary" and I stand by that. The film very intentionally feels like it's having an identity crisis over whether it wants to be a serious story of revenge, love, grief, and redemption or the kind of movie where a grown man in spandex has an elaborate performative dance number with his stunt double down a hall of death lasers. That is the tug-of-war that Sonic and Eggman are having with Shadow and Gerald.
It's that scene at the Chao Garden. Where the lights suddenly go out and it's like, oh shit, we're under attack. But then they come back up and it's just a funny stage show starting up. But also we are under attack, completely unrelated to the lights going out just now.
There are two conflicting payoffs to the suspense of that moment, playing out simultaneous to one another. It's like Sonic and Gerald had different ideas for how this scene should end.
Which is... really interesting to think about.
IDK
Coming out of the movie, my initial impression was that it was good, but not as good as Sonic 2. And, as a Sonic adaptation, I stand by that. Sonic 2 did the better job of adapting the Sonic material to film.
But as a creative exercise, as a piece of art, this movie's growing on me more. I think Sonic 3 is a fascinating performance piece.

MORE behind the scenes Sonic info and other tidbits from the BumbleKast as I continue to get caught up. These range from September 2022 to early December. (This means there are spoilers for Frontiers in here.)
They're doing episodes even more often now, so I've got a lot to catch up on and I'm sure most of y'all do too!
1. The IDW comics are, in fact, canon to the games now. Ian was a little coy when first asked about it, saying he "would not argue against it" if people said the IDW comics were canon to the games now. "I have made it clear that the comics follow the lead of the games, so… as long as there's no contradictions anywhere, we're good." So, yeah, come on. The comics are canon.
2. Ian apparently pitched another idea for incorporating Sticks into the IDW series last year that was once again shot down, although he says this only makes him want to dig his heels in and try harder. (I'm assuming most of you are already aware of her shout out in Frontiers, confirming she's out there, somewhere...)
3. If Surge was a streamer, Ian thinks she would just grief people on Fortnite
4. On the October 7th, 2022 show, Ian says there is a behind-the-scenes answer for how the depiction of Silver's future in '06 can fit together with Rivals and Rush... but he can't talk about it right now.
It's hard to convey his tone through text, so just imagine he's saying all this with a big, defeated shrug:
"Here's the thing. Working on something else, I actually did get a straight answer, and it was... frustratingly simple. And, it's like, 'That works. [sigh] Okay!' No, I can't get into it - that's all private work stuff - but maybe it'll come to light eventually. But... there is an answer. And it works. And I kinda feel dumb for not thinking of it."
I honestly have no idea what this could be if it's something Ian hadn't considered, because he has talked about popular theories and readings before, such as the reading that Blaze was transported to the Sol Dimension at the end of '06. Maybe we'll hear about it in the comics, since Silver and Blaze are both back right now, or maybe they'll be the subject of a TailsTube episode.
5. Froggy is not sentient in any way he really is just a frog
6. Unrelated to Sonic, Ian was asked "who is best pony" and he said Fluttershy. My longest yeah boy ever dot jpeg
7. With Surge and Kit originally being pitched as purely synthetic beings before Sega suggested they be cyborgs instead, Ian says they would've struggled with whether or not they're even real, as opposed to the end product where they struggle with not knowing who they were before Starline modified them
8. When the female cast of Archie Sonic stopped getting drawn so busty all the time that was, in fact, a very specific editorial mandate from someone at Archie. Sega, on the other hand, has never cared.
9. Now that we're back to Classic and Modern being part of one nebulous timeline and the divide being more of a branding thing, Ian explicitly confirmed that the Classic-themed IDW Sonic comics are set in the past of the mainline IDW Sonic comics. They're set sometime after the events of Mania, and before all the Modern stuff. Just don't think too hard about it
But hey! If it's any consolation, this now means all the Classic characters like Mighty, Nack, and Honey are out there off-screen in the world of the regular comics, even if the casts are remaining separate for branding reasons for now. It also means Shadow is out there being held in a pod in a maximum security off-shore military prison during the events of all the lighthearted Classic comics lmao
10. Ian reiterates yet again that he's still pushing to try and get the Freedom Fighters back in some capacity where he can (as are others). He also says that he's pushing for them to return as a group rather than requesting individual members because he believes that's the best shot at getting any of them through Sega's approval process.
(I can't remember when the last time this came up was, but Ian has also implied that he thinks their best shot is to return as Classic characters since their one game appearance is Spinball.)
11. Ian outright confirms that the forward-looking character arcs in Frontiers are reflective of what he would like to see out of the main cast moving forward in the games. Not surprising since that's, like... the whole point of those arcs! But nice that he wants it to only be the beginning.
Ian does also say, however, that he's not guaranteed to return as the writer for future games since he's still a freelancer, but to editorialize here, I don't see why they wouldn't want him back for the next project.
12. On the subject of Amy's characterization in Frontiers, Ian personally pins her general seriousness mostly on the fact that she's the companion for the first island, where the mysterious and somber tone Sega wanted for the story is being established and Sonic is still trying to figure out what to do. He says that she'd probably have been more bubbly if she was interacting with Sonic on the second or third island, after he starts to get his bearings. I hoped this was the reason why she felt a little dry compared to Knuckles and Tails, so it's nice to hear this isn't the new direction for Amy or anything.
13. While "officially" Sage's name is just an anagram of Sega and a reference to her wisdom, Ian seems to be cheekily implying that it's also a nod to the annual Sonic Amateur Games Expo. Hell yeah.
14. When asked to clear up some Frontiers lore from the Egg Memos, Ian explicitly confirmed that some of the Ancients left the Starfall Islands and went on to devolve into the Chao as we know them today over the course of tens of thousands of years. He says, however, that this doesn't mean that Ancients and Chao are literally the same species, comparing it to the difference between humans and australopithecus. But yes, they're related.

Tell me everything about your oc NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha jk, ,,,,,, unless ?
Because tumblr was mean and kicked me out here’s an image of the first lil blurb I wrote
CONTINUING ON THOUGH!
Currently Eli’s main trials is 1 of his very own and 2 MK events (will elaborate further later), but in events where multiple PA’s can be in the same area (like Prime Time, any other events like that in the past I may have missed due to just getting the game recently lol) he will automatically be placed alongside Franco Barbi - typically in The Docks, but he has attended The Fun Park a few times. He is never found in The Orphanage or The Police Station.
As for Eli’s actual past? What brought him to Project Lathe? It’s a long story.
Let’s go back to the very beginning.
Eli, as he’s known, is a multidimensional being that I created in order to have a baseline sona for fictional universes. He started back in 2022 as a Sonic OC, and has just grown ever since.
He was born from a quasar and searches the multiverse for companionship and to study life on planets.
His consciousness splits upon every universe (meaning that only this version of it is present in the universe).
Only one can exist per dimension, so there is only one Elisheva for every fictional world.
and this is where we bring it back to Outlast.
Upon traversing to this world in New York, Elisheva finds he can’t achieve his regular form. He’s human in this world, against his will. Spoiler alert! that’s due to Murkoff fuckery.
For reference: Eli is usually in the appearance of an anthropomorphic rabbit because again, thats how he began (a sonic oc.) Tosses these at ya!
He attempts to live a normal life in the Outlast world, despite being SO out of his element. This doesn’t really go well.
Being a human version of himself, and in the 1930s-50s where he grows up in New York…things aren’t…great.
Firstly those scars? Those aren’t there. He grows into “a woman”. With all the societal pressures of being an adult in the 50s, he has to perform femininity to an incredulous degree. Or, he should.
He refuses. Living as himself rather than the fraudulent woman people around him wishes him to be. What used to be friends are now enemies, and the world begins to crumble beneath him.
On top of that, I give him my epilepsy in EVERY world, so he’s super fucked in that stance. ADA didn’t pass until the 1990s, and there was no goddamn way people would accommodate for him.
Slowly being stripped of his personhood, he loses himself. And if he can’t look the way he truly is, and if he cannot be helped without death, then death it shall be.
He begins an impressive murder spree, the mask fused to his face being the flesh of his victims. The only reason Clyde Perry isn’t harmed from attempting to find him is because Elisheva already almost took himself out.
Clyde finds him half dead bleeding from…it’d be easier to name where he WASN’T bleeding from, but the most shocking part to many was his chest. He lopped parts of it off (an actually written moment of my own intrusive/impulsive thoughts if I had no restraint)
So Eli is taken to Sinyala without much of a hitch and slight reconstruction on his breasts, arms, legs- really everywhere but his face, which, of course, now bore the mask.
^ A transcription of an interview :)
He’s named Project Patchwork after the mask and Patchwork Rabbit for the same reason.
I and others have this headcanon of The Prime Assets having their own holding rooms at Sinyala - and I know it’s cliché, but at first Eli is held WITH Franco in an effort to calm the both of them. Franco needs a Mommy and Eli needs a damn friend. I’m not sure if I do want them to separate their rooms, but if they ever do it’ll just add more interesting things to their dynamic. They will EVENTUALLY become an item, but it takes a very long time.
Eli’s Trial is called “Reform the Formless”, and it takes place on The Campgrounds.
His MK Challenges are “Evacuate The Grounds” and “Drown the Counselor”
RTF has tasks that builds to you eventually rushing out with mannequin “children” and putting them into a cart, pushing them to safety. Eli will try to protect these children. This is a 45 minute trial.
“Taking away the bonds that which the cow has with her calf is how we create more cows. More milk. More money. Take these lost cows from their mother. Take them. Reform them. And we will let you out.”
ETG is a shorter version, where you pretty much only take the kids out, versus everything else in the made up trial (which includes gaining access to the grounds through summer camp-like quests) this is a 15 minute trial.
DTC is actually a lot like Vindicate The Guilty or Cleanse The Orphans in the sense of ya need keys to activate a thing to kill a man. This time its boat keys and a “dunk the ___” minigame to complete the trial. 15 minute trial
Eli tends to kill using only his teeth and nails as well as general brute force. He can also pick up things like bricks and bottles to throw at you, but he much prefers the former.
Uhh that’s all I have. If you read this far I’m giving you a kiss on the forehead and hugs (with consent of course)

🖤❤️💀hmph~
Idk if I'll have big Sonic brainrot like I did many years ago, but hey I'd do anything for the Shadow fan in me - I've been wanting to draw him ever since Sonic 2 was released back in 2022 (I've yet to see it, but I've already seen some of the post-credit scene spoilers at that point- 👁️👁️), but I put it in the back burner and with everybody talking about him ever since the Sonic X Shadow Generations and Sonic 3 announcements I guess it's about time that I draw him, right? It's also been years since I've done Sonic art too, so apologies if the anatomy looks a bit rusty! That being said, I hope you enjoy~ 🖤❤️

It's possible that some of the guns could've already been on it, especially with the whole undercover thing.
It really says a lot that Movie!Tails is so OP that the narrative had to prevent him from going with Sonic to the Master Emerald temple
My man’s was OUT. He got blasted not once but TWICE, SLEPT THROUGH THE AVALANCHE AND WEDDING CRASH AND CAGES. He only woke up once things were calm again and Sonic was booking it across the ocean. Tails was even stopped from flying, he only got one spin of the tails in.
Had he been able to go and bring his little backpack, he would have essentially brought a gun to a fist fight, and that would be very unfair.
But, real talk.. where did he get that plane? It doesn’t look like it belonged to the military, so did it just belong to the resort or someone who lived nearby? Maybe he went back to his home planet to snatch it? But if it didn’t belong to him THAT MAKES HIM ATTACHING GUNS TO THE PLANE AND GETTING SMOOSHED BY THE MOUSTACHE THING EVEN MORE WILD

Who Did What for Sonic the Hedgehog's 900th Adventure
So the 900th Adventure was basically this years Annual in spirit, but instead of multiple shorter stories, it told one big story, but with the number of writers and art teams that you would get in a multi-story annual anyways. Sure you could easily read the credits, but it's more fun this way. Obviously spoilers ahead so everything past part 1 is is gonna be under a Read More
Part 1 (pages 1-6): Set-up with Tails
Writer: Ian Flynn (the original main writer on IDW Sonic and post-Metal Virus continues to be one of the main writers, including being the main writer of IDW's Classic Sonic specials. Been with the franchise since becoming a writer for the Archie comics back in '06 and served as the writer for Sonic Frontiers)
Artist: Adam Bryce Thomas (one of the main IDW Sonic artists. been around since the latter half of Archie's reboot)
Colors: Valentina Pinto (initially a secondary colorist whose biggest credit was doing the Imposter Syndrome miniseries, recently seems to have graduated to being one of the main colorists this year)
Part 2 (pages 7-12): Amy and the Orca
Writer/Artist: Evan Stanley (the other main writer of IDW Sonic post-Metal Virus as well as one of the main artists, been around since late in Archie's pre-reboot era)
Colors: Gigi Dutreix (regular cover artist and occasional inker and has even written a few stories; co-authoring Victory Garden from the 2019 Annual and its follow up Future Growth, which they also colored, and solo-writing The Catalyst from 2020's Annual)
Part 3 (pages 13-18): Knuckles and Metal Sonic
Writer: Nigel Kitching (one of the main writers of the old UK Sonic the Comic published by Fleetway Editions back in the 90s)
Artist: Mauro Fonseca (regular artist, major credits so far include Sonic Learns to Drive from the 30th Anniversary Special, co-designing Surge & Kit, doing the A-covers for the Imposter Syndrome miniseries, and doing a bunch of stuff in the concurrent and upcoming main book issues. Also relevantly used to be a regular contributor to the Sonic the Comic-Online fan continuation)
Inks: Rik Mack (recent regular inker, being the main inker on Mauro's more recent interior art for the comic as well as inking other artists, most notably on Tails' 30th Anniversary Special. Recently did some coloring on the back-half of issue 61 as well. Also another former StC-O regular)
Colors: Reggie Graham (one of the main colorists on IDW Sonic post-Metal Virus, after having been a regular on covers beforehand, as well as being another former StC-O regular)
Part 4 (pages 19-24): Eggman and his Mech
Writer: Daniel Barnes (writer of Weapons from the 2022 Annual and the Scrapnik Island miniseries)
Artist/Colors: Min Ho Kim (fairly recent addition of the IDW Sonic crew, being a regular cover artist since Scrapnik #1. Also the character artist on The Murder of Sonic)
Color Assistance: Evan Maly
Part 5 (pages 25-30): Blaze and Cream
Writer/Artist: Aaron Hammerstrom (regular artist, most prominently being the main artist for IDW's Classic Sonic stuff. Also previously wrote/drew the 2022 Annual story Rough Patch)
Inks: Matt Froese (regular inker, mainly works on Aaron's art. Most notable non-Aaron credits include the two Yardley-drawn issues of Zeti Hunt and the first and last parts of Trial by Fire)
Colors: Nathalie Fourdraine (The 1:10 Retailer Incentive variant cover artist for every issue the main book as well as semi-regularly doing covers for side books. Served as the colorist for the Classic Sonic stories Dr. Eggman's Brithday and Amy's New Hobby, as well as the colors and A covers for the Scrapnik Island miniseries)
Part 6 (pages 31-36): Babylon Rogues & Shadow/Rouge
Writer: Caleb Goellner (writer of the Team Sonic Racing one-shot, the 2019 Annual story Jet Set Tornado, and the 2020 Annual story Reflections)
Artist: Abby Bulmer (regular cover artist, as well as artist of the 2020 Annual story The Catalyst and the 2022 Annual story Hero Camp. Notably way back in the day was the artist of the very first StC-O story, and her time on 2000 AD often involved her serving as a colorist for Richard Elson, one of the main StC artists.)
Colors: Heather Breckel (IDW MLP's main colorist, who's been a recurring secondary colorist throughout IDW Sonic's run, often filling in for other colorists)
Part 7 (pages 37-40): The Warp Topaz Cave
Same team (Flynn/Thomas/Pinto) as part 1

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (flick) spoiler rant
I'd love it if Amy's just kinda "?????" because Sonic's perpetually being MCU "Scooby-doo up this bitch" and just eventually she's like "Who are you without hiding behind referential humor?" and he just breaks down and cries.
Also holy shit Metallix movie canon!
The movies are so poorly written and all the characters are out-of-character I just hope Amy's badass and silly (Tho I guess that's Sonic)
She's prolly not gonna be a creepy stalker bitch since that's Tails.
Which leaves her with girlboss... which is a tired trope... it'd be cool if she was an antihero, or even villain. Tho that'd mean Metallix isn't a villain.
Shadow and Robotnik very clearly blew the fuck up so like... eh.
Jim Carrey is the absolute worst Dr. Robotnik (but at least he's the 2nd worst Prof. Robotnik... damn Shadow 05 sucked) but I wouldn't be suprised if he had a contingency clone.
Tho I guess he also could have staged his death, but like I really really expected when he told Stone off that he was initiating a plan to have Stone do some backup shit and he was 100% onto Gerald... but he wasn't
because he's a shitty Eggman! You know it's funny how both our Robotniks are the genesis of modern antivaxxing/anti-autism and the other is a fucking Zionist. Like we deserve better than this...
Aunno, if nothing else I have cute plushies to look forward to... I hope. Even with weird eyes Amy's still cute <3
But yeah all three movies have bad writing, but only Sonic 2 is good. Sonic 3 has that Super Mario Bros. (2022) problem where it feels like an hour was cut out of the movie.
The pacing is insane and part of me wonders if ALL new movies suck now.
