Things I remember

(I only heard like 20 seconds of the song at most so the other parts might have lyrics)

1 it was a jayvik edit, started with the scene with Jayce where he’s like “Viktor saved my life once, now he’s dying and there’s nothing I can do”

2 it was rly like softly emotional and sweet, lots of scenes of them

3 there was like this drum beat in the background

4 there was also what sounded like piano

5 there was like a chorus of “ohhhhh”s and it was like long and drawn out but super pretty (I think it was a guys voice)

I really love the way the music threads through the story, and I find the choice of songs quite…interesting, and worth considering. ( But please be skeptical ~ I'm just a lost person)

Before s2, Bilibili released a teaser reminiscent of the events from the first season. Initially, I was wondering what the beautiful song was playing in the background, but my search turned out to be much more interesting than I could have expected.

The title of this song is 《 11 》, you can listen to it and watch the video below. On YouTube you can also find the translation in the comments.

I read the comments on kuwo for a while to understand the title and the comments led me to the fact that before 队长 had released a song called 哪里都是你 (You are everywhere). And the cover of this song looks like both the number 11 and the "pause" sign in the player, which seems very poetic to me. The lyrics also somewhat continue each other.

The themes of time, regrets, love, partings have been haunting us for a long time. The choice of this song for the donghua teaser highlights them once again. With some sense of foreshadowing, I guess? As always.

But the most interesting part is visual elements, I'm not sure, but my dear friend @wrathyforest noticed some similarities. (The official MV of the song was released on March 17 (2022), things can be as simple as a coincidence, or have real overtones and inspiration from each other.

So. Was it really necessary to put literally the similar scene with circular door in the background 一 like in the 11 clip 一 in XƎTЯOVerthink?

Much to think about! Just let me be insane.
