(；・∀・) I— don’t know where the inspiration to try animation for some of these songs came from, pero bueno, I’m not complaining ✨👉🏼👈🏼 the songs are just too good not to try 🤩

After listening to My Goodbye, I just felt it in my bones that it fits the argument Ahsoka and Sabine may have had that lead to their strained relationship on screen. We just have to make our own conclusions, so this one is mine~.

I think many do agree that the break of their mentor/apprenticeship and original search for Ezra came to an end after the Night of A Thousand Tears-The Great Purge of Mandalore; soo after the loss of Sabine’s Clan and family most likely. Which is so,,, agh, leaves a heavy knot in my chest every time I think about it 😞

Pero bueno, I can understand to an extent why Ahsoka chooses to let Sabine go and all — doesn’t mean I fully forgive her for doing it during such a traumatic event for Sabine, my beloved 😤 Anyhow, that is my thoughts on it and also for Sabine’s epilogue haircut in the draws (I have officially completed all of her hair styles 🤩).

I truly think a lot of the lyrics in this song definitely fit them both, not just the parts I gave Ahsoka and Sabine.

Why purrgils with Sabine 🐋? Association to Ezra and how finding them may lead to where he is. Plus, just her overall desire to find him and how this likely was a factor when she asked Ahsoka to train her as a Jedi to be able to find/sense him in the force.

Anyways, the “I have to see him…” just— 😩😭 I know that’s exactly what Sabine was thinking in her head when she handed the map ~ (originally my initial sketch for the “Just a man” part, but I liked her expression a lot I added it in and refined the lines~

“Look, there's Salim!” Jason pointed, letting out a breath of relief. He reached for his radio. “Salim, come in man. You there?”

“I'm surrounded,” Salim whispered back. “Vampires... so many vampires.”

Jason felt his heart plummet into his stomach and grow cold. His brain went into a panic. He knew Salim could handle himself, but that was only against one vampire. Their explosions woke up who knew how many, and they were all pissed.

“Too risky,” Nick argued. “You go down there, you'll die with him.” That was true. If Jason went down there, he'd be putting his life on the line. Jason couldn't imagine a life where Salim was gone.

“Salim's one of us now,” he decided, “and marines don't leave their own behind. You hearin' me, Salim?”

“If I don't make it,” Salim replied, “tell my son I did everything I could.”

“Tell him yourself. I'm comin' to get you.”

Jason hopped down into the vault and charged forward. He would do whatever it took to get to Salim, to keep him safe.

Gunfire announced Jason's arrival. Salim's heart soared seeing the marine. He spared Jason a smile before turning and finishing off the vampire Jason had distracted.

“So you've come to join the fun?” he asked with a laugh. Jason flashed a smile back, switching out his rifle clip with a fresh one. He was so focused on that he didn't see the vampire rearing up behind him. “Jason!” Salim cried out. He reacted without thinking, hurling his stake like a javelin. Jason ducked out of the way, the stake making impact in the vampire's chest.

Salim rushed in and pulled the weapon out, smacking the vampire across the face to knock it to the ground. He stood over it and staked it again to make sure it was dead. Salim looked up to catch Jason's eye. The man was staring at him with his mouth hanging open.

“Did you seriously just throw that thing at me?” he demanded.

“I did,” Salim answered with a laugh. Jason grinned at him but quickly shook it off.

They ran to the exit side by side. Salim glanced Jason's way again. Some movement behind them caught his attention and he looked over his shoulder. Some ancient thing was watching them leave. It had a spear in its hand. Horror seized him a moment before the ancient one made his throw. Salim didn't even pay attention to where the creature was aiming. All he knew was that he had to protect Jason.

He grabbed the marine, pulling him out of the way. The two of them hit the ground and rolled. Salim heard a metallic thunk and stared where it landed. Right where Jason would have been standing. Salim's hands tightened around the marine for just a moment before the two were scrambling on their feet and running again.

They stood side by side, a knife in one hand and a flare in the other. This would be their last stand in the six minutes of darkness.

“It has been interesting knowing you,” Salim said.

“This? This is bullshit. I'm not here to honor the dead. Truth is, my life was goin' nowhere fast. I jumped at the chance to sign up.” … “When those towers were hit, I was stoned outta my fuckin' skull. I didn't even hear about it 'til a week later. How's that for profound?”

“Zain is all I have left in this world. After my wife left us, I gave him my all.” … “My boy has made me very proud. If only he would stop stealing.”

“If we both want to live, we must fight as one: the sword and the shield.”

“Whatever happens down there, I got your back.”

“Let's light these fuckers up!” Jason said. Their eyes met and they shared a quick smile. It was a dire moment, but they would both choose to stand here together than anywhere else alone.

Sunlight was glowing through the holes in the shepherd's hut. Screams from the dying vampires finally stopped. The five of them exchanged tired smiles. Finally it was over. Salim gave most of them a passing glance, lingering the longest on Jason. The marine met his stare. Salim wished he could express how much this man meant to him the past few hours. Especially that moment when Jason charged in to save him.

The rhythmic thumping of helicopter blades cut through the silence. Jason abruptly rose to his feet. He gave a little jerk with his head before walking into another room. Salim waited a few beats before following.

“I fuckin' forgot Eric called in air support before the mission,” Jason blurted out.

“It was a smart decision,” Salim reasoned.

“I thought so at the time, but now...” Jason's brow creased, his eyes tense with worry. “I'm sorry, Salim.”

“If you're apologizing for saving me, I don't know how to feel about it,” Salim said, trying for a light tone. Jason pressed his lips together in a stern line.

“I can try to distract 'em,” Jason offered. “Give you time to escape.”

“No. This time, I'll charge into danger for you, Jason.”

Jason opened his mouth, closing it again with a dazed expression. They stood there in silence, gazes locked, until Jason broke it. Salim followed after him where the other Americans were already gathering outside. Military men wearing gas masks exited the helicopter. They were guiding the survivors inside. Salim instantly held his hands up in a sign of surrender.

“Easy, fellas,” Jason warned before any of them could point their guns at Salim. “He's with me. I see any of you point your guns at him, your ass is mine.”

They saluted in answer. Jason stuck close to Salim's side just in case, sitting next to him inside the copter. He caught Salim's eye again and nodded to him. Salim gave him a little smile in return. If Jason could face vampires, Salim could face the US military.

He didn't even feel afraid. He knew the consequences of his choice, but he would make it all the same.

Jason squirmed restlessly in his chair. He was getting tired of going over the story. No matter how many times he said it, the situation wasn't going to get any less fucked.

“Fuck!” he burst out. “How many times do I have to keep tellin' you the same damn story?!”

“I understand,” the person in the hazmat suit responded. “However, CENTCOM needs to iron out any... irregularities.”

“Such as?” Jason fumed. “The whole fuckin' thing was irregular!”

“Such as why you allied with an enemy combatant?”

Jason knew they were going to bring that up eventually. Rage boiled just under the surface. Why didn't they just slap him with the label of “betrayer to your country” and get it over with? He was about ready to jump out of the chair and deck the guy, just to make it official.

“You weren't fuckin' there! Those things were rippin' us to shreds! I don't give a damn who it was, we needed all the help we could get!” He let out a frustrated breath, but he wasn't done yet. Not even close. He wanted these people to understand exactly where he stood. “I stepped back into that hell to save Salim,” Jason declared. “That man is worth five of you people! Semper-fuckin-'fi!”

Silence hung in the air after his rant. They would understand what he was saying. Always loyal to Salim. Not to you, not to the goddamn military. So go fuck yourself.

[Bill has managed to escape death and traveled in time to stop Stanley from ruining Weirdmaggedon. He and the Henchmaniac have managed to possess different people without raising too much suspicion and journeyed to Glass Shard Beach, New Jersey.

It is a cold night. Stan and Ford are twelve.

Bill and the others discover Stan with the ‘Extra Stan’ sign he has been punished to carry outside the house for the -F of the history test. Keyhole prepares a gun he had stolen to kill Stan but Bill stops him.]

“No one will know.” Keyhole argues.

“Keyhole, buddy, I think you have gotten a bit hasty with revenge. A quick death is just that. Quick, painless, surprising. One moment he’s breathing, the next one he’s gone. I didn’t get myself out of the trap of that lesser being just to give him a free exit from my reign in a silver plater. True revenge is slow, painful, hellish and maddening. Wanna know how?”

“We’ll screw this humiliation, let’s not waste more hours

We must get him first if we want all the power

This is our biggest challenge, no more delays

Or else Fez will ruin our fun again

[The Henchmaniac get excited and listen attentively. Bill points dismissively to a sniffing Stanley as he trembles from the cold, still outside with the sign.]

“No one would care if he goes missing

His father ain’t want him around

So I say we make everyone a favor

and get rid of this pest once and for all

We’ll wait for the others to be distracted

[Kryptos gives the sign using a flashlight.]

Some of you, make the street silent as a mouse

[Hectogorn, 8-Ball, and Pyronica invade various houses close to the Pines residence and massacre the people inside to not leave witnesses, they also get rid of any passerby walking in the streets.]

Then when we approach Fez all smiley and friendly

[Bill lowers Stan’s guard by saying he’s worth much more than 3 dollars and suddenly, grabs him by the neck roughly.]

We’ll put him inside a bag and take him out of town then

[He and Kryptos put him on the bag before he could scream. Amorphous Shape drives quickly to pick them up and the whole group escapes.]

Hold him down until he stops shaking

[Xanthar leaves bruises on Stan’s arms and growls menacingly at him.]

Put him down with a knife on his throat

[Pyronica silently threatens him placing the razor close to his yugular.]

Break Fez’s will, trust, and faith,

and let him be swallowed by the wolves

In a hole where the beasts live in

[Months after the kidnapping, Bill makes a deal with human traffickers and they take Stanley, sending him to a sordid, brutal brothel that also sells drugs.]

No family or rescue will save him

And everyone will have the spoils.”

[Caryn, Shermie, and Ford search for Stan desperately after kicking Filbrick out of the house for his part on Stan being gone. Meanwhile, Stan endures as he can the constant abuse and threats; he tried to escape multiple times but his fear of being killed and not seeing his family again makes him stop.]

“And when the fighting’s done

And he has lost all hope

Letting the beasts to break his bones

Letting them all to consume him and much worse

[Stan slowly grows numb, depressed, and scarred. The only thing keeping him sane is the memories of his family, mainly of Ford.]

And then they’ll

[Sometimes is submissiveness, sometimes is fighting, other times is pleading or negotiating but old and new people keep leaving marks on Stan. He feels disgusted.]

Just had an idea and want to gauge interest!

Recently I did a writing challenge/event made by @epiclamer and @save-the-villainous-cat where we surrendered an ask and gained one in return to write a story about. It was really fun and part of its purpose was to reignite writing activity on tumblr. Well, I want to inspire the same thing but with a new challenge.

I get a lot of my writing inspiration from music. I like to apply lyrics to my characters or imagine new stories, I’ve even gotten out of plot holes by listening to songs. While listening to music today, I thought about how it would be cool to write or read a story based specifically on a song. I think it would be fun if everyone who wants to participate in this challenge submits a song. Then in returned everyone will randomly receive a song that they must go listen to and base a story on. It’s up to writer how they used the song for inspiration whether it’s the lyrics, message, vibe, etc. as along as it can be plausibly linked to that song. I’d probably set a deadline, and out of fairness, people would have to really commit to write something if they join, that way everyone gets a story for the song they submitted.

So what do y’all think? If I get enough interest, I’ll organize it. (And don’t worry, this post isn’t an official sign up for it or anything, just seeing interest)
