Whats the Starshine Project?

I’m so glad you asked !

The Starshine Project is a world for ocs I own to live in, it’s called like that because of an actually pretty simple reason —

The main characters, ‘mains’ as in that almost every other character is linked to them in some way, are Pinwheel and Gaël, two siblings created from stardust that fell upon the sky.

This world is basically a slice of life with trauma sprinkled in everywhere !

It doesn’t have a set storyline as in a story that could be a comic or a show, but the characters have gone as far as to have grandchildren.

The main basis of the ‘main characters’ I own ( because some are owned by two beloveds I’m frens with ) are of the following :

Pinwheel, daughter of the stars, born from stardust. She, in her adult version, has two adopted children and is in a QPR with @chrmatic-coping’s Dread !

Pinwheel can see what others can’t due to the star that formed around one of her eye, that comes up multiple time in her story.

Gaël is Pinwheel’s brother, and he lived with her for a long time as they went through life and troubles together.

He has two partners, one of which is Danae, an oc of mine, and Crossword, the only utmv related character of the whole oc world LOL ( also by @chrmatic-coping <3 )

Gaël stutters a lot when angry or excited, and doesn’t have any set abilities. In the future, I’ve had the idea to have him have a prosthetic limb.

We also have the friend of Gaël and Pinwheel, a child of the sun named Aconite ! He’s married in the future to his now girlfriend Orchidia.

Orchidia and Aconite are a t4t couple, Orchidia having had a witch family that weren’t acceptant of her identity, leading her to run away.

And I could go on about all the characters, but these are the main ones I personally own.

To resume, Starshine Project is a fun little oc world with ocs from me and friends, that I hope to share soon in littles doodles, comics and reference sheets !

Last post without art, I’ve got too many stuff to post anywho —

I’m very tired, but I want to thank the people that follow my blog on the daily/weekly.

I’m very very forgetful, I forget to reply answer reblog and drink water, but I do care !! The fact everytime I post one of my moots is there to like it is really great, it’s so sweet. I wish I could do the same ;

I don’t fully know why I’m typing this now, but also don’t hesitate to tag me in your art post or anything else so that I can reply and reblog !!!!

Ps : I have no idea what my moots and followers would want me to post in particular I’m mostly winging it, but I’d love to get suggestions. I picked up InsectVerse again…

Aster new ref addition ! The four of them are finally reunited, woo!!

Info —

— He/Him !

— Aster was born from a magic grown plant, a bit like the French tale that kids are born from cabbages. He still retains a sprout on his head, symbolism of his birth.

— Our dear boy see the world in monochrome, aside from one colour : Green ! That’s why he likes to lay or play in the grass.

— Aster doesn’t have much magic, so Puddle takes care of protecting him.

I would say the star trio ; but there’s also Aster… | It’s been a while, folks !

Meeeet them again !!!!! Pearl, DreamBerry ; Evenstar, DreamInk and Puddle, InkBerry !

They’re all here ready to cause trouble !! I have a lot more that I have done and that I will do, I’m just hesitant to post em…

Pearl —

- Pearl was a golden child, the sweet star of her family ! She often puts pressure on herself to be the best.

- She/Her girly !

- She is as of now a married adult with kids. She does keeps contact with the rest of her family !

- Pearl wings can flaps when she feels happy <3

Evenstar —

- Evenstar is chaotic neutral ! They enjoy and feasts on positive aus, their flame core feeding off the happiness and praises of creators. Since Flame -> Passion…

- They/Them sprinkle with a he/they at times.

- They have a hand pocket mirror which allows people who see themselves in it to see the goodness in them. The mirror doesn’t work too well, though…

Puddle —

- Puddle turns into a, well, puddle when saddened or experiencing strong emotions ! Their star eyelights will be the only visible thing.

- Any/All pronouns !

- His eyelights grows in the dark ! They can also shine will in puddle form.

- Puddle to misuse the world vernacular to make up xeir own lexicon.

Alright y’all, get ready for HELVETICA !

Helvetica is an oc of mine that is Sans and Papyrus’s oldest sister : I’m still hesitating on her lore because she might just be missing in the timeline in which Gaster no longer exist.

I feel like this post shouldn’t be formatted as usual mostly because Helvetica deserves it mwaha

* Helvetica.

Meet the cool oldest sister of the family ! Helvetica is that sibling who’d let you jump on her motorcycle before you two have a minor accident and you both laugh over it later on.

She’s pretty open minded to most things, but the moment her mind is set on this isn’t that or this is bad that is good ; you can’t get her to change her mind !

Unlike her brothers who are very much into subtlety and secrets, Helvetica doesn’t like theories and double meaning, preferring to keep it all simple and straightforward. “Simple isn’t Easy”.

While Sans has a potential knowledge on resets and alternate timeline while Papyrus knows more than he lets on and both uses that knowledge to some extent : Helvetica rejects it.

Nevertheless, she might just be the one that remembers the most of it all. What a curse.

Helvetica can be called Helve or Tica. Papyrus leans on Tica while Sans leans on Helve ; it’s mostly because when Papyrus was young, Sans already called Helvetica ‘Helve’, but Papyrus had trouble pronouncing it.

Naturally, Helvetica’s past might be up to interpretation like her brothers ! Hell, one main idea I had is she’d be only ever mentioned if she actually was in Undertale.

And more… always more…

What brush do u use for your drawings??

Okay wait ! so let me explain !!

I work with Ibis Paint X, more precisely with this brush ;

BUT you might ask, isn’t that just the second brush on the list ?

It is !! I’ve just renamed it because I tried exporting it once.

My brush on my phone works in a very specific way in which I can’t find on other phones I’ve tried ! It’s very odd, which is why if I ever lose my phone we are dead chat…

In which Cross is a hitwoman and Dream is a famous actress. Dream technically is non-binary, but she uses mostly feminine pronouns !

Cross would die for Dream who’s only begging her to live ! Tension n all, I think it’s fun. Nightmare doesn’t help…..
