So umm I did a part 3 set of fusion OC doodles, part 1 & part 2 for reference :D As voted, and maybe as a late birthday gift, today we just have he dreamtale twins ~!! And um WOW were they a lot to get done in one day, really pushed my hand on this one ah >.< Good thing I have to take break for the next 2 days, huh? For my own sake lmao Still didn't design any of em but some were colourless so I had to pick out for them? Just. Many (more) of my 300 odd skeleton OCs... Oh yeah! It does say on the sheet but in case it isn't clear! These are the pairs / sets of 'dreams & nightmares' depicted: Solar & Lunar; Phantasy & Paralysis; Mist & Sopor (they're not twins but they are siblings).

If y'all are interested in the fusions, knowing or guessing, for any of the OCs please DO feel free to chat w/ me about them :D Whenever I next get to doing more the theme of the day will be Error & Ink, so keep an eye out if that interests you ~!! I. don't think there will be as many as today?? (I hope.... pls don't let there be this many again....)

Going off the last post. I think this bothers Nightmare. He always has a blind spot, he always has a deaf spot, sure he can move it around. He can move his eyelight to the right socket, to the left socket, but he'll always still have one eye. He will always be left physical disabled. In an earlier post I think I mentioned every time he sees his one eye in the mirror it bothers him because it reminds him of what happened.

But now not only that, it reminds him of what he can never have again. He only parts from his youth. He remembers being bullied. He remembers the time with his brother. He remembers learning how to read! Those are things he can never get back

But. He also remembers the sounds of birds chirping. He remembers looking into the great forest. He can still hear birds chirp, but it's never the same, it's always muffled, distant. He can watch the forest but he'll never have a clear picture of it.

It could be why he speaks in caps too, he always has to speak slightly louder. Could be why he can't dodge his brother's arrows quite as well, he only has one eye after all, his sense of depth is messed up.

It just makes him bitter. Angry and Bitter. But his past does in general. No, not his past. Himself. The fact that he is himself makes him angry.

I do think dreamtale is a fairytale in the sense that undertale is a game. There IS no outside world in dreamtale, it's just the village and a neverending forest. But no other sentient life.

Just like how there's no 'outside world' in undertale, at least not to the player.

Besides I think it fits with Dreamtale, it doesn't take place on earth or anything like earth.

It's surroundings are like a dream. The village is small but big! There are a lot of people but also little to no people.

There's as much as there needs to be for the fable.

I usually don't go with the whole 'every universe is a game' thing because I don't find it fun.

But I do think it's interesting if dreamtale was a folk tale. A story passed down through generations about the sins of judgement. But like, real.

It's an actual place.

Does that make sense?

I was thinking about how to make Nightmare's design related to the moon.... So now they are a walking crescent moon🌘

And Cross and Ink pretend to be fashionistas!
