the thing that’s so wild to me with comic charles is that he’s literally just as slim and small as the females in the comics LIKE THAT WAS A CONSCIOUS DECISION HE HAS THE SAME BODY TYPE AS EMMA FROST.
everyones so mean to him and he's literally only three apples tall..........
#snap chats#'females' is CRAZY but agreed why is he so teeny. when was this decided <- not complaining#if he stood behind a lamp post he'd be considered missing unless he got cerebro on his head he gon look like a bobble head#it's actually so funny tho like for a while charles at least had. A Moderate Build#which Yeah That Tracks Ig. military and all i spose. so the absolute 180 to being Small And Lithe is so funny#i kidna like semi-beefed charles i aint gonna lie but i also like his physical presentation Not being too broad or potentially intimidating#aka Both Is Good. For Me. but im a simple man i see charles xavier and i say hiiiiii and giggle and kick my feet#unless its like. 12245 charles put that thing back he looks like brad pitt and i hate it with a passion#he do look like a genderbent emma frost tho ....... see the math's mathing i solved the puzzle that why he built like her

they honestly couldve done so much with junpei beheaded/dismembered and im disappointed that it ended up just being mira. so much of his character and his relationship with akane is characterized by his lack of bodily autonomy, and him being openly beheaded during the nonary games would be the ultimate example of this. its perhaps the most brutal death in the game, and it never really gets explained or developed beyond the one puzzle that we get with it. junpei has been shown repeatedly to be subject to akane's plans or follow her blindly and i just think that would have been a really interesting angle to approach his beheading from. junpei has willingly signed up for nonary games in two different timelines just because he knew he would see her. he was infected with a deadly virus trying to find her. he grew desensitized to death as he took underground jobs to try and find her. his safety always comes second when shes in the picture, and his beheading wouldve been a prime opportunity to 1. exploit his willingness to let himself die/be injured for her and 2. make akane confront the fact that her confidence that junpei will always follow after her is not necessarily a positive thing.
#zero escape#additionally wasnt mira supposed to be asleep?? like i know she didnt get the forget juice but didnt she still get knocked out?#but also!! none of her other kills were like that! none of them were dismembered and she didnt touch junpeis chest#so even that reasoning doesnt make sense#kinda feels like a copout to keep the shock of junpei being disrespected in such a way - to have his very body turned into a puzzle#a puzzle that akane is forced to solve!!! without knowing that what shes looking for is his head - him!#theres so much potential there and they just didnt do anything#im not even saying that akane should have somehow been responsible for that death - only that not having her really grapple with it is such#a missed opportunity#i still fucking LOVE the imagery of it though. i really think its the epitome of the representations of his lack of autonomy#he loses all of vlr. quark. 45 years of his life. because akane decides this is best for him. he dies repeatedly trying to find her.#because she believes that she knows what will keep him safe#and turning junpeis body into a puzzle posthumously is a fantastic example of his lack of control over his body#its like hes literally become a doll. hes jumpydoll - not junpei. hes subject to these games even after he has died.#he gets no peace. no respect in his death. not when hes in these games. not when hes in the shadow of akanes whims and games.#i still love the imagery. i think it was one of my favorite parts of ztd and is honestly now a core tenet of my Junpei Understanding#but i was disappointed in the lack of narrative weight that specific death had. for him to be one of the first dead? for it to be in such a#brutal manner? like come ON. the character analysis for junpei and akane and their relationship is RIGHT THERE. all you had to do was put i#in the game#but nope.#they just handwave it as something mira did.#and dont bring up the details ever again because. plot point solved?#anyway. ive been thinking about junpei imagery and bodily autonomy a lot. obviously.#zero escape spoilers#mak no peeking#marydontlookatthis

#cookie run#licorice cookie#red velvet cookie#affogato cookie#I KNOW im late to this but i was at school ok 🙄 anyways i have a lot of thoughts#first off LICORICE UGH I MISSED HIM SO BAD IM SO HAPPY FOR HIM#his stats are so fascinating to me. i don't think anyone was expecting his strength to be that high#its pretty average but its still his best stat surprisingly#im shocked his strategy and puzzle solving are only 3. i think that's a strange decision to make them so low but I'm open to accepting it#maybe his avoidance/lack of ability to see the big picture contributes to the low scores?#his stats are so unexpected but I could get used to it. still i want an elaboration from devsis on these#i want them to show his strength in the show because i was expecting his strength to be like. 3 or 4#but anywho. i think its very funny how affo is 0 strength. i love how its canon licorice could easily kick his ass in a fist fight#i really do love affo and im SO happy to see him with the cod fucking finally all we got with him as a cod until now was ODYSSEY 😭#im so excited to see him work with the cod as an actual member. he's a very fun character for me#i cant wait for them to actually make him feel like one of the cookies of darkness its been over a year since he joined by now c'mon#im just so ecstatic that the cod are back. hopefully this is a good omen and will pave the way for more cod appearances soon#bcs u all know how i feel about the lack of cod for the better part of the past year. this better be their comeback i believe in them#😁😁😁😁😁😁 IM JUST SO HAPPY THIS IS THE BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME IM SO HAPPY U HSVE NO IDEA I LITERALLY SCREAMED#btw ik crepe is there. but they're in a weird grey area of being a cod so i didn't post them BUT IM VERY HAPPY THEY'RE THERE TOO ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️#♦️charlie's miscellaneous

i am playing professor layton and the curious village on my ds. very fun!!!
I don't know if i'm very far in because most of the time spent in that game was me being confused and bad at puzzles. it's fun though.
!!! im glad to hear youre enjoying it!! its one of my fav titles and honestly such an underrated series, id love it if more ppl gave it a try!
the puzzles can be difficult but very rewarding!! i used to dread them as a kid but now i find them nice and challenging. the math ones are still hard, but if u speak to Flick at the cafe he'll give you chess puzzles which i think were my favorite ^_^
#its nice because its story driven but gives u enough room to do the puzzles on your own to make progress.. and the rewards like#the gizmos painting pieces and furniture for the minigames are also a nice bonus because it gives u a little extra incentive to solve as#many puzzles as possible!! ngl i didnt know how the hotel room minigame worked but i had fun completing the painting and robot dog#plus the variety and the fact that u dont know which puzzles youre gonna get makes it interesting. and theres no harm if u cant finish or#end up missing some because you can find them in the riddle shack or just do a different one instead and its fine. very cool#i have dyscalculia so the math ones have always been hard for me and id need my brothers help so we'd work on it together#or i'd just search up the answer as a last resort............#actually im gonna save u the trouble. if u get the camera case puzzle the answer is 95. ITS FUCKED UP I KNOW BUT ITS 95#it took me like 2 hours with my brother just to figure that out and i dont want anyone to get a headache from that one ITS FRUSTRATING#ive only played curious village and pandoras box bc its the only ones i had as a kid. replaying pandoras box rn actually!!!#i have cracked versions of unwound future and azran legacy which come after CV and PB BUT my version of unwound future is broken#it freezes on the opening cutscene every time i try to play it which SUCKS bc i really wanna play the games in order. maybe ill emulate it#professor layton#ask#answered#yapping#doodles

I'll be straight up with you lads I miss when the cyber / punk fandom was a community and was fun for everyone and not just the established groups. Everybody interacted with everybody and everyone was so excited to share their vp and lore with each other. I miss all of my cool cp/77 mutuals. Some are gone, some are taking breaks, some moved on. And that's alright, let me be clear. I just miss my cp/77 friends that I'd be excited to share with. I miss how it used to feel good here.
#before anyone gets their pants in a twist because i know someone somewhere will#1. this isn't targeted and its not some call to arms. if you wanna feel targeted by this then that is between you and god. its not about any#one person so i saved you the trouble of playing blues clues to solve the puzzle#2. i can vent and talk about things on my own blog to my friends and mutuals. this is my house. don't be a child about this#now that the 1 million required disclaimers are out of the way#yeah i miss something that used to be really good#it doesn't feel the same and it never will again#misc: personal

Okay so I tried to figure out what Frida (Big Mama's assistant) would act like.... and she may just be my favorite character ever.
(there is literally no videos/gifs of her, so take these screenshots)
The "cannon" description of her is that she's so adamant for the rules, that it's kind of silly. Given that and the factoid that she's probably been raised by Big Mama, I tried doing some characterization.
NOTE - I have only seen rise and read a lot of rise fan-fictions, so I can't use anything from other versions, but if anyone who has seen the other versions has some suggestions, let me know!
Frida, daughter of Big Mama, gained a few of her traits. The main one being that she is a master negotiator. Her favorite past time is making deals with people and getting rewards from it, not because she changes the terms like Big Mama does, but because she finds loopholes and has people agree to her original terms. She never breaks a rule, just exploits them.
(My sibling watched a masterclass on negotiating and it had a bunch of morally questionable tidbits that I think would be SO FUN in a character. Things like: "Empathy doesn't mean you have to be nice to them, you just have to know what makes them tick." "A no is worth five yes's" "When someone is lying, try to use a warm, slow voice" "Let people know what they will lose if they don't do the deal"....)
She has half the battle nexus loyal and/or in debt to her.
Despite her stoic exterior, she genuinely enjoys figuring out what makes people tick. She sees emotions as logical consequences of their personality and experiences, and they are quite fun to play with. Not maliciously... it's just fun. She is hyper-observant and can read someone pretty well, but it's her simple questions that slowly evolve into deal making that make all the hidden city lawyers afraid of her.
As far as illegal activities go - since most of what Big Mam does is illegal, much to her annoyance - she's actually one of the main reasons the Hidden City council cannot bring up a single point against Big Mama. Frida wouldn't dream of breaking rules, no. Rather, she has so much more intellectual enjoyment of discovering loopholes to the rules, using every one of their laws to her favor, making her and her mother's activities 100% legal.
As far as mystic powers go, she can understand it - they are based on emotions after all. But she can't make it work for herself. If Frida herself cannot control (read: suppress) her emotions, then the others (read: Big Mama) can control me, and no no no. She needs to be the one in control.
#missing sister rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles#she's also the oldest btw#Frida the young adult mutant assistant turtle#rottmnt#rottmnt fandom#rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles#rise of the tmnt#rise Frida#When she met her brothers#she was like “oh wait... they are all queer and mentally ill.... like me. Huh.”#She doesn't know what to feel about them tbh#Mikey says her behavior is 'not ethical'#how else is she supposed to be?#Donnie doesn't question it#She helped Donnie make his tax evasion legal.#She does not fully understand the family dynamics here and she it is her current puzzle to solve#She'll be listening to them talk to each other and say something like "Oh we all know Leo is gay with a superiority complex#And they all stand there#And she says “What? It wasn't obvious?”

It is also just the specialist girl syndrome that I can’t help but give my OCs but truly Liz as a vessel for “the Doctor reacting to the Master’s attention being on someone else” drives me up a wall. Fellas you ever have a fraught relationship with your former best friend over their jealousy that you have other friends only for you to react just as bad when it’s reversed.
#I’m think abt 13 specifically so like. she’d never acknowledge the hypocrisy#she’d never even acknowledge that she was jealous#(ily problems girl)#but my god. the master setting up a puzzle/trap and the doctor agonizing over it bc she’s MISSING something#only for Liz to show up and solve it immediately bc it was never for the doctor in the first place#her reaction to that. COMPELLING.#zap.txt#lizzie davis

after seeing this game i so dearly wish for a multi-character multi-story adventure-esque game featuring at a MINIMUM unique storylines for amy tails and knuckles. each with the 3-4 levels like shadow has here. but as i get further in the more afraid i am that the real takeaway is that sega is going to do with frontiers what nintendo did with Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom (cram all future games in a previously innovating franchise into the same niche)
#all the levels based on past games are visually gorgeous and SO much fun to play AND featuring the sonic signature maximalism design. and#then i got to chaos island and its *fun* but its so boring to look at. the charm is lost#yes i am aware echoes of wisdom is not open world#however they have turned zelda into the ‘manipulate your environment to solve puzzles’ franchise and that is NOT what i fell in love with#zelda for. i miss the fantasy. i hope the parts of *this* game that are dedicated to exploring the characters pasts and engaging with the#lore continues

you can tell how bad my executive dysfunction is by how many completed sudoku puzzles there are lying around, or even better by how many started but not completed sudoku puzzles there are. and baby it is sudoku city in here.
#work is hard rn and i've got so much decision fatigue from that#that i just have to like. every fifteen to thirty minutes do another sudoku puzzle. so i can tell myself 'i'll do this next thing after#this puzzle'. and then i don't <3#executive dysfunction#my posts#god i still suck at sudoku though. breakthrough when????#i've been stuck at the same level of competency for so many years and i still feel like there's something i'm missing#bc sudoku puzzles should be solvable without guessing i would think. but there are a subset that i just cannot solve w/o guessing#so sudoku is in a way uniquely suited to be a very unsatisfying way to deal w executive dysfunction. so why is it my go-to. bad planning#which indeed is the problem i am having (bad planning and follow-through). so...at least it's on brand?

im trying to piece together the actions of the binary entity and the motivations behind them. so far most of its communication with the players is its name changing and the early on book that translated to "LEAVE". the pattern of its actions seem to be consistent, [get rid of eggs = get rid of players] if you only take a look at its recent actions, fully targetting the eggs, it becomes more of a tool used to kill the eggs. there hasnt been anymore communication other than its name change. additionally, what happens to it when it gets downed ? is it teleported away or does it teleport itself.
the actions of cucurucho/QSMP Census Bureau seem a little more fuzzy now. the motivations ultimately unclear. with bbhs past tense realization, is it true that they are prioritzing the players enjoyment/happiness in the island? cucurucho/fedration kidnapping the brazilians (thought whether or not they are meant to be in then island is still under question) does seem to contradict that principle. is the book for philza advice ?
#qsmp#idk i might be missing key ideas or realizations/theories so lmk if i am#but mannnnn the puzzle solving is fun but the deaths are not#also i wanna see if theres a statistic of how many times philza has been downed/attack by the entity
