Mobius’ unwavering belief in Loki throughout the series. I cannot reiterate enough how impactful and truly life-altering Mobius’ support and affection was to Loki. Mobius has always seen straight through him, right from the very start. Mobius has studied every single thing Loki has ever done, and probably every single thing most of his variants have ever done, and not once does Mobius falter in his belief that Loki can be good. This is probably the first time anyone besides his mother has ever told him he could be more, the first time that anyone cared enough to look past the walls and the facade Loki puts up. The first time anyone looked at him and said ‘I truly believe you can be anything. Even if you don’t believe it yourself.’

Mobius’ belief in Loki, his constant support and kindness, truly taught Loki the meaning of trust, friendship, love. In Mobius, he found someone to rely on, who would be patient with him, who would make him laugh and would never base his worth on the acquisition of a throne. Because Mobius never expected Loki to be a worthy king or a great prince or anything really, besides himself. And that was always good enough for Mobius.

That support, belief, and trust is the fundamental catalyst behind Loki’s growth and change throughout the series. By the end of season 2, the relationship he has built with Mobius and his friends is enough to give him the strength to save and eternally protect the entire multiverse. I cannot think of a greater example of a character redeeming themselves and finding their purpose through the power of the ones they love.

We know you have a sweet-tooth, so Saki and I decided to bake a log cake and some hot pepper windmills. I managed to get some smooth cocoa paste from a traveller down in the Faron Region for you to make hot cocoa with. Apparently it’s made from a rare type of cacao bean that has a distinct fruity taste. Haven’t tried it myself but I think you’ll enjoy it with the pastries.

I also bought some ancient arrows from the Sheikah scientist in Hateno. He was pretty ecstatic when I managed to find the right materials. I thought they’d be useful if you ever encounter an enemy you don’t want to deal with. Just don’t point them at Link for any strange experiments.

We ended up getting a few eye paint containers from Swanphora as well. There’s purple, green, and yellow. I chose these ones specifically because they remind me of Saki, Tulin and I, so…I hope you’ll be reminded of us if you do use them.

Master Revali, you’ve proven yourself more than capable time and time again. In spite of your upbringing and the opposition you faced, you continue to persist through challenges with an unwavering spirit. Without a doubt, you are the best role model I could ever have. You’re known as the Pride of the Rito for a reason, after all.

Although you may not yet realize it, we already see you as part of our family. You’ve taught myself and Tulin a great number of things. You saved our lives and Rito Village countless times. I’ll admit, your words can be…unrestrained at times and I am more than willing to call you out, but your perseverance and genuine love for the people around you far out way your demeanour. I would be proud to call you my son with your consent, though we’ll still treat you as family even if you refused. Both you and Link are sons in my eyes.

Thank you Master Revali…for everything you’ve done, for us and the village. I’m forever grateful that you chose to be a part of our lives after you returned. I look forward to spending more time together in the upcoming year.

How dare he think I have any need for his pride, it's not like I care what he thinks. I don't care if I'm part of their silly little family or not, I've always been a lone wolf anyway, I don't need anyone, especially not someone to call me their son. I don't need anyones approval. Hey, so like, there was this post earlier that said “Nonverbal Bloodmoon” and I saw it and reblogged it and, uh, it wouldn’t leave my head

I made a bunch of doodles of my two technically nonverbal Bloodmoons

Yeah

First off, Fang! Dear beloved. The ability to mimic voices is one Fang has but words are rather tricky, even more so when the only frame of reference there was for a long time was in vaguely Shakespearean English. Fang is basically a weird fusion of a cat and a dog, communicates mostly through body language, and is also incredibly physically clingy on account of being essentially blind in most situations. The second picture features Fang’s twin, Scythe.

And then there’s Bloody. The not-so-silly-anymore boy. Bloody does have the ability to talk, they actually do talk sometimes even, they just don’t usually do it. The reasons for this are a bit hard to explain, the bottom line is that it’s a trauma response, selectively mute if you want an actual term. He’s the more expressive of the twins and already had a bunch of little things he did before shit went down, and afterwards he’s still rather expressive if less impulsive and energetic. They too are clingy but instead of sticking to the person they’re clingy towards they will have a thing that reminds them of the person and hold it for a while. Harvest makes a little cameo here, questioning Bloody’s clothing choices.

And now their dynamic being friends. Communication between them is hard. Neither talks, Fang can’t see, when Fang can see Bloody isn’t in a good space to talk, there’s plenty of challenges to their friendship. But they can deal with those, Fang has some pretty good hearing and smell and Bloody isn’t exactly the quietest walker with all the random things he carries, Bloody can often guess the mood Fang is on by looking at their tail movements, and for direct communication Bloody will usually spell words out on Fang’s hand (yes Fang actually knows the alphabet and the letters, just can’t pronounce them)
