#i wanted to draw the other guardians too but this would be a good start #ok so #tsuna starts his band. yamamoto bass and gokudera keys and tsuna suprisingly drummer and also lead vocal. reborn appears out of nowhere-#being “youre not your full potential so i will drain you till youre like a fish in a dehydrator until you become the best out there.”#thats about it #but i just like how drumming singers are like extremely good music people because drumming is already hard. and singing too???#absolutely insane i might say. tsuna would do this (bc reborn told him so)#he does not want to be the best but reborn exists in the paro for a reason #reborn is like maybe a famous musician who faked his death then did whatever he wanted to do while he was “alive”. then he got tsuna as his #apprentice and so so. oh yeah also whiplash (the movie) reference bc holy shit its so good. for me at least. and reborn would make tsuna go #that kind of crazy. like training until drenched in sweat from morning to night or whenever hes available. bc he knows he has potential #he just need someone to push him beyond his expected limit #btw 8059 implied #gokudera joined the band first bc yeah then comes yamamoto for fun as he had to rest from playing baseball a bit too enthusiastic #gokudera hated him so much for like being dumb??? this is by no means an exhaustive list but definitely the moments i think of most often ^_^

i loooveee. this part. they’re rlly fun to look at in general in this arc but this bit in particular has always stood out to me? their eye shadow for sure has glitter in it (detail i decided on when i was like 13 that i still stand by). it’s just silly. they’re irritated.

and then i really love all the live shows. i think that’s like,, Peak Unfiltered Sam. this goes for every other character as well but i really like hearing from them directly as opposed to through cecil. also their VA is just fucking awesome. LOVE her. my favoriteeee live show with them rn is the haunting of night vale? but it changes occasionally.

in that same vein, their bit in episode 88! i see people say often that wtnv drops off in year four, but actually this episode is when it gets good. the song choice. they have a caffeine headache and they don’t even drink caffeine. EYE think that they just like to drink tea and don’t realize that it has caffeine in it. they’re pretty upset about it though.

also rlly rlly love this part from 228! it makes me sad that this is one of the last time they’re mentioned in this arc because i find the VERY sudden malice between them and janet really fascinating? and this is like a really big turning point. REALLY wish they were even hinted at in 230. miss them.

and i know a lot of people don’t like the frank chen arc? but EYE do. they have a lot of rlly great moments in that one. like they literally necromance someone. come on.

probably missed some things and will be annoyed about it later but yeah ^_^ live laugh love sheriff sam.

The One Where Sans Tells It Like It Is. (Or: The One Where Sans Is Number One Dunckle) by marauding_bagel (General Audiences, Complete)

When Toriel asked him to attend the meeting in her place for one night he thought it wouldn't be a big deal. Turns out Sans could not have been more wrong.

A bit of a short fic, there's a surprising lack of fics with this concept! Even still, I like the way the author exectues the idea! I loved reading comics similar to this fic when I was younger, so this threw me back a bit!

I enjoy the way the author writes the characters, & how they have them interact with each other!

Spoilers ahead!

I really like how the author includes some of the reactions from the unamed parents also at the meeting, having mentions of nods of agreement & cheering when Sans insults Helen's brownies!

alana said the new one is way more funky, I've noticed a lot of punk bands are piggy dippin in a funk/punk sound more than a pop/punk sound and honestly? I'm so obsessed.

#its only like half done but ive already had it on repeat for 2 months #truly a I love this song! oh yeah i added it ass playlist #ever since going public with the worm bikes i am more conscious of how incohesive these playlists are #i can have songs bordering on e boy trap music noise alongside what is basically a pop song alongside screamo #but the point was never to have a cohesive sound or vibe. it was to collect new music in one place #and it does that effectively for me even if not everyone who seeks them out has the same taste #also a seperate thought to make these tags extra long: some of them ARE more cohesive and that's the funny part #you can tell my moods of the time or what i was seeking in song. one of them is full of songs about cutting off abusive parents and #simultaneously songs about being happy having a good time healing and starting over #like in a convoluted way that is cohesive and poetic #idk just weird to look back and be able to identify periods of my life with the music i collected now that theres so much of it #wish i could hard copy it but some of these songs are so obscure i feel like it's unrealistic #but i do want to have copies of my VIP list #okay sorry for the long ass rambling tags byyyyeeee

Finding out that Gabor72 who was looking for "Just A Game" died before he could know the song, it makes me that more determined to find the song I've been looking for on and off since I was six or seven years old.

#no i can't just go to a subreddit because i have no clip just a description and a vague lyric that is too common to find #because i happen to hear it again nearly twenty years later faintly in a droning grocery store to write down a lyric #but my brother wouldn't stop talking and i felt rude to interrupt and had no phone to shazam or press record #so yeah i've been thwarted from finding this song twice that has to have not been that obscure to be on fm radio in florida #and on what i assume is an internet radio playlist in a grocery store in the midwest #Lostwave

Thoughts on people associating Nico in your Dear Reader series with the musician Cavetown?

honestly, i don't know much about him! i know that he's a trans artist, and i've *heard* things about him being problematic, but i've never looked into it bc he doesn't really make the type of music that i listen to, so... yea i just haven't really had a reason to look him up. but i know that with both him and nico being ftm trans singers, it makes sense that people would associate them with each other! in the end, i truly don't mind however people interpret nico's music, whether they want to listen to my playlists or change his genre or imagine different songs as part of his albums - i don't want to restrict everyone to my very specific taste in pop music!! so yeah, i'm totally cool with it, even if i really didn't have him in mind when starting the fic :))
