I'm doing Artfight for the first time this year, so I wanted to share some of my OCs and their character sheets on here :)

First off we have Lark!

Lark is a part of an Original Project of mine that's still very much in its early stages! I'm excited to do some work on it over this summer, though.

Muffin is her lab assistant. He's a very good boy and also a bit of an idiot.

so over the past like few weeks i’ve been slowly clearing out my twitter bookmarks and dumping everything into my references discord server. i Finally finished today and so: onward to the tumblr likes……..🫡👍

(the reason i’m doing tbis is bc most of my bookmarks are art references or art i like bc of the style or composition, so i’m dumping all the art in this server & once i’m done im going to sort. All of it. and once i’m done w that i can finally move forward w art style studies so i can draw again!)

Not Too Late (part 1)

First instalment of the new round lets goooo

It was strange, being out of Shawn’s home without him nearby for so long. How long had it been since he’d gone, well, anywhere without him? Daze should have been reading over his speech again but found his gaze wandering from the paper out the window of the speeding train. They’d just left district 7 on the way to district 8. His district. He glanced back down at the words on his page. It wasn’t like he really needed to go over it again. He’d had it memorized and ready since yesterday. There wasn’t anything to change at this point but it killed time.�� 

He folded the paper and stood from the table in favor of pacing up and down the soft carpet of the train car, mouthing the words to his speech to fill the time left. The train was quick, but it wasn’t instant.  

How the hell Shawn had found a way for him to get this job, he had no idea. Must have pulled some strings somewhere now that he was working in the Capitol. It seemed out of character for him to be so eager and supportive of something that required him to be on his own, stealing him away unaccompanied for days at a time, but maybe it was strategic. After all, Daze would no doubt have more chances to mingle with the Capitol’s bigger names as a tribute’s escort than Shawn be able to meet on his own even with his status. Trying to carve out more of a place in the Capitol as opposed to district 1, Shawn would need that kind of network as soon as he could get it.  

Was he going to get paid for this? Daze crossed his arms and furrowed his eyebrows at the velvet lining each window. He didn’t have his own bank account, at least, not one purely in his name as far as he knew. He’d assumed that his old one was probably closed down sometime after he was arrested that last time. Not that there was much in it. If he did get paid maybe he’d see about opening his own account. Savings maybe. One that Shawn wasn’t listed on too. Might not hurt. 

His watched beeped. 7:00. The train would be pulling into the station in an hour and a half. Probably about time to get started with hair and makeup and getting changed for the reaping.   

It was going to be televised, his image projected on televisions across Panem and looking back at him on screens brought in to the plaza just for today. Goosebumps crawled over his skin as he slipped into his cabin to change. He’d never been on TV before. Shawn had assured him it would be fine and he’d be a natural but he’d seen the looks in everyone’s eyes that night. They didn’t think he could pull it off. That he was hardly more than an empty-headed pretty face.  

He knew better. Shawn wouldn’t have put him up to this if he didn’t think so too.  

Probably.

Update: I bought it. I bought the Trolls gingerbread house.

I am a technically a "grown adult" but I am so going to have fun putting this together by myself tomorrow ^-^

So my friend (left) thought I should do a drawing of our friend group in Killing Floor 2, this came about because it is currently the only game we can all play together. Because we are both nerds I immediately agreed and was very excited about the whole thing.

I had SO much trouble with the colors not coming our right when I exported it though. After much experimentation I used a wide rgb color space and it turned out acceptable when it got exported.

That being said I am so happy with it now (this is the small file, OG is too big for tumblr, so there is some loss)

i was so excited to be able to sleep in today (bc mondays are the only day of the week i don’t have to be up before 7am) and i woke up at 4am to a text from my boss asking if i can go in to open the store at 10 bc she is sick and no one else is available. so i guess i’m opening the store by myself today
