This has been chilling in my mind since I first saw ZivaZivcs comic and I finally got the energy to make it XD

First thing, take all the time you need!!! Second ARE YOU OK!? HOW DID YOU HURT YOUR HAND PLAYING MINECRAFT FOR 8 HOURS STRAIGHT!?!?!? Third make it angsty! Make them have so much trauma! As long as we get cute fluff sprinkled in then make it ANGSTY!!!

Lmao xD my hands are just shit honestly either carpal tunnel or early stages of arthritis idk but I was wearing my compression glove m o s t of the time and they still managed to get a bit messed up (probably should have stopped when I started to get shooting electric pain up my hand but the grind didn't stop that night T^T) XD and O H Y E A H It's gonna have angst and fluff and all the good things in it!!! The one fic I'm working on rn (unrelated) gots angst and feels, pre breakup brozone, and some of my most favorite dialogue I've written in years (also Clay centric because that was before JD swooped in and took over my life) xD Just so excited to be getting back into writing I've gotta pace myself honestly before I burn myself out(again) XD

I think I've narrowed it down to two options for how it'll happen. The main concern is making something that fits with the magic system we already have in the trolls universe which I t h i n k I've got it!

The second main thing is figuring out how dark I wanna go with the backstory of what happened to their parents- cuz oh-! Oh im adding that whole batch of trauma to the story and if I go with the ideas I've got, it's gonna be s a d as all heck!

Thanks for waiting tho! I'll try to keep ya posted when I start work on it and maybe throw out a bit of headcannons and tidbits for the story every once in a while, but once I finish the two trolls fics I'm currently working on it is so game on! >:D

Having stumbled into a wormhole one time too many, and this time without any form of protection, John-Dory comes out in a state he only imagined would be possible in fiction. Now unable to be seen by anyone, and only existing as a white outline of himself, he has to find a way to keep himself entertained whilst also trying to find a way back to normal.

Thinking that finding his brothers would lead to him finding answers and/or solutions, he's horrified to only gain more questions and problems when he finally stumbles upon Branch. Wanting to go off to find a cure for his condition, but not wanting to leave his little brother in the state that he was in (no matter how little he could actually help), John-Dory spends the next decade watching over Branch. He'll leave eventually, he'll leave and then come back the moment he was fixed.

He will. Eventually. Soon.

But yeah, he did agree with Branch- having escaped the Bergans two decades ago was an important thing to celebrate, but this party was probably going to be a tad bit loud for comfort.

I've seen a lot of people headcannoning/theorizing that Clay stayed in the troll tree after brozone broke up, and thats how he ended up with the putt putt trolls, and I love the angst potential of that from Clay's pov! Having been so physically close to his family (Branch and Grandma) that whole time but then losing them during trollstice when the putt putt trolls originally got split, not even knowing that grandma was dead for years until Band Together and then living with the guilt over how he was right there. He could have done something but ultimately didn't, but goodness he was so close!

The a n g s t!!! I love it! But there are other cool theories i haven't seen a lot of!

Like idk but what if he had actually left the troll tree like he said, to 'find other trolls that would take him seriously.' It's possible he left and took up schooling elsewhere (my man is a licensed cpa! That takes years to get and the time gap between brozone break up and trollstice is perfect-) then planned on coming back possibly with a degree and license to prove his seriousness, Only to be met with the troll tree already mostly evacuated. Stuck in the back of the group full of trolls trying to hurry to freedom as Clay looks frantically for any sign of his family in the chaos. Then the shovels start to come down. Everything turns hectic in the matter of seconds. Some folks resorting to pushing and shoving- trying to get out faster faster faster before they get e a t e n. Clay had spent years working hard towards proving himself to his family- but them not even being alive to see that? Them not being alive at all? That horrified him. Running faster, still frantically looking- searching for any recognizable faces. Hell he'd even take finding JD at this point! But nothing matters anymore as the shovel comes down one last time, and he's ready to accept his fate- only to be saved by a blur of pink and yellow.

Idk lol! I've been thinking about a lot of headconnons and theories lately! What the bros could have been getting into after the brozone breakup- how Clay ended up with the putt putt trolls seems like kind of a mystery that could make a good fanfic! Either way- a n g s t potential!!!
