Sure! If you or others want to ask me stuff from ask games, I’m not against answering! Like I’ve said before, my favorites tend to shift a lot, but here are my most accurate answers for right now:

Favorite Character: Madara and Iruka are most consistently at the top of my favorite characters.

Favorite Arc/Episode/Scene: As basic as an answer it is, the Chunin Exams is probably my favorite arc. Team 7 talking at Zabuza and Haku’s grave and the Kakashi vs Obito fight are tied for my favorite scenes.

Character I Think is Underrated: Kabuto. Yakushi. I get that people find him annoying and I can see why, but he’s one of the most tragic characters in the series and a walking representative of many of the world’s failings. Plus his dynamic with Orochimaru is as fascinating as it is depressing (please stop shipping them, I beg of thee). I also just have a soft spot for villainous/badass doctor characters who actually use their medical skills in combat.

Character I Think is Overrated: There are a lot of characters I think are overrated or get attention for the wrong reasons, but I think Hinata Hyuga is the most obvious one. I think she’s actually a pretty good character in the manga when she’s not being reduced to Naruto’s love interest, but she is not “have portions of the fandom worshipping her and a bunch of people wanting her to replace Sakura as the heroine” good.

Favorite Ship/Pairing: Right now, since I’m thinking about the Chunin Exams, I’d say LeeSaku, but I promise you I’d give you a different answer tomorrow.

Something I Love About the Show/Movie: I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the realistic character complexities carry this series for me. Especially in regards to how their experiences affect their actions and worldviews, how most characters are actually intrinsically motivated, and characters’ greatest strengths are often shown to be some of their greatest weaknesses as well. Even background characters tend to have more going on than what first meets the eye.

going through my old journals as part of therapy homework and i'm reading a section written in the emotional wreckage of a full-on breakdown when i get hit with this line:

#like you were on the ground biting the carpet and dry sobbing while you wrote that and still. good fucking point #not a shitpost #cptsd #and it's true. there's never a satisfying answer #the truth is i know why i wasn't loved #i analyzed my parent's traumas and abuse to death. i understand why i alienated and was alienated from my siblings #i know why my mom was too overwhelmed to be capable of nurturing #i know why my dad vanished into addiction and avoidance #the details of our cycles of trauma and cptsd and family history i have a phd in all of it #i understood perfectly. i spent years studying and now i knew the answer #and guess what? IT WAS NOT SATISFYING!!!#because they still didn't love me! and i still couldn't change that!#it was still a completely unsatisfying state of affairs!#so like. when the people who are supposed to love you...don't.#when the people who are supposed to take care of you...fail to #you can look for answers and reasons and explanations #but that's not actually going to FIX your situation.#and it's probably not within your ability TO fix the situation. (and definitely not your job)#because you don't need answers--you need a new situation #*inserts Just Walk Out. You Can Leave!!! (Running Skeleton) Meme*#and yes. walking out isn't always possible.#but for you i hope it will be one day soon. and i hope you build the courage to take that leap.#stepping away from the people who failed to love you...it feels like being untethered but also like being lighter than air #new and scary. immensely relieving. the future opens up. empty but empty like a canvas. blindingly bright until your eyes adjust #like climbing out of a pit you called home and for the first time realizing how bright the light of day can truly be #when you aren't just getting glimpses from the bottom of a hole

#poorly drawn mdzs #mdzs #wei wuxian #granny wen #a-yuan #It's always fascinating how colours translate from the page to the screen.#It would probably surprise a lot of people to see what some of these comics actually look like in physical form.#My lighter colours takes about 3-4 washes before it shows up on scan which means it tends to ripple the page.#And my yellows and oranges are drastically different colours when scanned compared to the ink colour.#There's about 20 or so comics where everyone's hair is purple - because it scanned in the exact same colour as my light grey.#Wait my book is right here in front of me so I can...yeah...Comics 57-77 were indeed purple.#This is all to say - is it not fascinating how what we see is often not the full truth of what the subject truly is?#Is it not fascinating to open another episode that reminds us that despite everyone's claims they could totally spot the evil YLLZ-#-The man walks around among them for months as no more than a man haggling for deals like the rest.#It's almost as if he's just a person. It's almost as if none of us - no matter what we do are really anything more than just a person.#Your good acts will be overtaken by how other's interpret you in negative light.#Just as easily are people willing to forgive crueler actions if they hold you in high esteem.#But what's real? Is the page I hold the real version of this comic? Is it the one you look at?#Is the man known as Wuxian the most himself when he is alone or on the battlefield?#Perhaps he is and has always been a scared orphan boy lost in the market.#I think there is no good answer to any of these questions.#But I do know that panic rising in WWX as he frantically looks for A-yuan was for more than one boy.#To be human is to have layers around a delicate center. We only really grow around our wounds from childhood.#In other words; Donkey from Shrek would also probably call Wei Wuxian an onion. I'll see myself out now.

Stanford is desperate. He has tried every method possible to try and rid himself of Bill, and he's got nothing to show for all his efforts but more scars and less sleep.

His head is killing him. Another consequence of his many attempts to just live. Yes. He yearned to live, because he was dying. Dying in the hands of his own muse. Was it so wrong of him to want to live? To fear death? Perhaps Stanford was selfish; a hypocrite, to avoid the same death that had so soon and so unfairly claimed his friend and his brother, but he was only a man.

Stanford knew he didn't stitch his wound right, he could feel it. He could feel the cold nails and bolts dig into his head; his scalp pulled taught over his newly metal plated skull to cover the holes. He felt something rattle when he moved. Perhaps he should have welded the metal plate into his head instead.

Project Mentem did not react well to his open skull and neither did the poorly screwed metal plate in his head.

#Astral projecting my chronic headaches onto Ford by making it part of his lore.#He is now forever stuck with a terrible terrible headache that just won't leave.#Remember kids- drilling metal plates into your skull is not the best solution to getting rid of your ex! honestly, there was a surprising amount of Twst trying out just a little bit of horror movie in this one! like. you're having a nice cup of tea one minute and then it turns into Alice in Wonderland Does The Cube. everything's red for some reason. your friend's mom is actually a mass of giant shrieking arms rising from the depths to drown you in an ocean of chamomile. this is all a precursor to being hunted as the most dangerous game throughout a labyrinth by dopplegangers of your best friends. what's going on, Twst. are you okay.
