She/HerThis blog is for me to share my thoughts on series that I like (mostly Naruto so far, but I'm moving towards DC stuff). Sometimes my thoughts include analyses, headcanons, or shitposting. Occasionally I will rant or talk about things I don't like in fandoms, but I've been doing less of that since there's enough negativity without me adding to that. Though I have no intention to stop criticizing (media or how people consume it) altogether.

Tim and Damian's dynamic could be so much more complex and interesting in the comics if DC locked tf in. I want them both to be able to trust each other with their lives. I also want them to have big and messy fights, 'they have to be physically separated sometimes before it gets worse' kind of fights.
The way I see it, they should be allowed to disagree and be totally crude and honest about it because no matter what, it will never be as bad as it was before. They are not scared to hurt the other's feelings because they've already tested each other's limits, so even if their fights scalate a lot, they will never allow themselves to really hurt the other. Yes, they consider themselves as brothers. No, they don't always like each other, that's okay.
Give me something like Tim finding out Damian has died like four times in canon and beating the shit out of him because "why did we even brought you back if you are so keen on fucking dying? what a waste of resources" and Damian punching back while mockingly saying something like: "Oh, you'd have liked that, for me to stay dead so you can keep Robin for yourself again." they spend ten minutes like that before running out of energy and then they just... lay there, over a rooftop in Gotham at midnight until Tim deems himself calm enough to say: "You know I don't hate you being Robin, right? not anymore, not for a while." Damian nods before simply answering: "Very well, then I suppose I will try my best to not die. For your own comfort." and Tim snorts, "I would appreciate that, yeah."
They are, of course, NOT allowed to be alone with each other for like a month once the family finds the video footage.

Headcanon that after this particular adventure, Simon and Jessica began saying "screw you, Batman!" as a running joke every time they're minorly inconvenienced
Naturally, the other Green Lanterns of Earth start doing it too and it becomes a habit to blame Batman for every problem they encounter, regardless of whether it's actually his fault or not. It's basically their "thanks Obama"
Eventually, this spreads to the rest of the Corps. Only a small handful of them have actually met Batman, but most of them have heard Hal or Guy complaining about him at some point or another. Somehow they learn that Batman had a Yellow Lantern ring for a while, which leads to the rumor that he must've been an especially vexing member of the Sinestro Corps if veteran GLs are still pissed at him
What started as a running joke eventually becomes a genuine tradition of the Corps, and a thousand years later, a future member of the GLC teams up with the Legion of Super-Heroes and confuses the hell out of the Legionnaires when their power ring runs out of battery and they spit Batman's name like it's a curse
