I do SUSPECT, and this is a big leap, that the masquerade stems from things Lucio used to do

SO. the theory is. is that Lucio didn't entirely make up the idea of the masquerade and it's kind of an amalgamation of some of the things he did growing up (party and wear animal masks) (and I theorize that the masks were used in battle, also explaining why Morga's enemies associate her with cheetahs despite her never speaking to them- and perhaps the rest of the Scourge wore beetle masks)

this one is silly goofy. so. you know how if you go to a certain room in Vlastomil's house he has a butterfly room? and how the devs stated its because he keeps forgetting caterpillars don't stay like that forever? well, many beetles start out as worms, that he may be interested in raising! but they do have to grow up eventually. so that one's just a silly "if it's a curse inflicted from wronging Vlastomil why is it a beetle thing and not a worm thing" I guess it's not impossible for him to accidentally raise beetles the same way he does butterflies

Since you enjoyed my opossum facts, I would like to inform you that there is a breed of chicken called the Transylvanian naked neck. :)

After some fact-checking, I have determined that the Buster sword in FFVII is about 6 feet tall, putting it at 1-2 feet longer than Four is tall. I'm guessing Fierce Deity's sword is probably of a similar size, though, so that's going to have to be close enough.

Sort of related to that, I have been introduced to ✨ FFX ✨ and am now in love with the idea of the guardians. It scratches that itch. Anyway, I think Sky and Wild would fit that type of role relatively well because the guardian's job is to protect their summoner no matter what, even if it means dying. Wild literally died protecting Flora. It's perfect.

I am slowly dying on the inside because I don't have the time to be entertaining these thoughts. I don't know enough about FF to think about AUs. But it's so extremely tempting.

Alternatively, I have thought about embracing my BNHA roots to mix-and-match elements into a vigilante AU. We don't have enough of them, I only counted 2 when I did my directory. (I'll add it to the ideas list for later.)

It would give me the perfect opportunity to throw Twilight & Warriors & Sky together as a trio because they're around the same age and I feel like they'd work together just well enough to be the main characters of a vigilante AU plot. I feel like Time would throw off the vibes a bit and the younger ones would fit into different roles a little better. Especially since Twilight would be the guy to take home stray science experiments kids and try to personally help them. A big part of his game is literally about rescuing children, after all.

HELP okay ive spent some of my downtime thinking about it but omg.......... having to pick is h a r d......... like if you asked me a few years ago i def wouldve said jamiazu FULL STOP, however, i think it has since graduated from its rarepair status especially after engtwst got going. it's still an absolute fave but that knocks it out of the running for rarepairs...

I'm not with my laptop currently, otherwise i mightve spent time pulling up pixiv and ao3 numbers to compare and contrast lol. but i dont feel like doing that on phones and tablets so we're going off vibes from what i remember.

so there are a few i considered and all the immediate ones that came to mind were cater related [im cheating and yapping about a bunch but i think i have one picked by the end lol. i was doodling it out....

honorable mention to silver/kalim who i LOVEEEEE but i forgot i had considered til just now and i dont feel like drawing more lol. but i find them very underrated. still, as much as i love them, i still think my pick will be one of theyse ^ cay ships lol. so running thru my choices, i was also considering idia/cater, which i havve been HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMing over whether or not it still counts as a rarepair too. i feel like it's sort of in that gray spot of like, i see more of it than i used to but also still not a super updated one, maybe slightly behind jamil/azul lol. ^ azul and idia r makin faces at each other in that doodle bc idias like "teehee you cant win this competition bitch" and azuls like "fuck u that means we r more popular" um anyway.

and then of course one of the firstones that came ot mind and is DEF a rare pair is my beloved cater/jade lol. they get a few instances every few events that make me go bonkers and even tho it's few and far between i love them,,,, still, i had to consider a few more...

cater/vil is also an og ship that's like, surprisingly underrated i feel like??? like, i see it now and then but it def feels like only really a handful of people making stuff for them. fuck like even i dont draw/write them much bc i find vil oddly hard to draw jkLFHSKDLFJ and ive just strangely never written a fic for them? despite the fact that ive def written down fic ideas and concepts for them. iive just never sat and done it i dont think, even tho theyre one of my earliest twst ships. that was the case w/cater and idia for a while too til i got a prompt suggestion so maybe i gotta reblog some of those prompt posts again and get some assists lol.

cater/leona is one thats been fucking haunting me for like 2+ years now lol. like i feel like especially lately ive been thinking about them a LOT so i thought they could use honorable meniton here as well.......... tho they are more based on vibes and headcanons and a few instances in the game.

a bit of a message talking about inactivity and my possible hiatus. I dont know if this counts as a cw but i talk about depression here and there at the beginning (nothing graphic) and as usual, its a rant

im gonna be straight honest rn, i'm probably not gonna be active on tumblr for these next few days, ive been super up and down depressed and im just unmotivated and too tired to do anything, im still gonna check in here and there but dont expect me to reblog or reply to many posts, if at all. This could mark the beginning of a hiatus, but with mood swings and up and down depression, i could be back, active as ever tomorrow. Ever since ive uninstalled Sims 4, i did feel a weight lift off my shoulders, but simultaneously made me depressed due to the lack of... well... doing something, i dont... really know how to put it into words, its just something in my brain that i just cant explain, i guess a good way to put it is playing sims 4 gave me the motivation to stem off into other mediums, blender for example, gave me something to do, something to learn, and while i can still use blender, i just get progressively slower and slower at doing stuff in it because of my limited resources, some scenes i want to do require specific outfits and i dont have the facilities to make those outfits... i mean i probably do but i just dont feel motivated to do all that. I still play other games, ive been playing a lot of slime rancher 2 and have been trying to branch out to other games (indie games and bigger games), I want to post gameplay but if youve seen me rant about tumblr before, one of my biggest gripes is just how fucking annoying it is to upload images, so i just get completely unmotivated to post images/gameplay especially if its just some silly post. if uh if anyone is still reading this, ill be honest, i havent even been motivated to write about WAS at all, probably havent touched the planning doc in about 2 weeks. This... 'spiral'... has been noticeable for me for the last week as my sleep schedule gets swapped around from sleeping at night and awake during the day... to sleeping during the day and awake at night, this is all my fault, but its also just something that happens rotationally for me, i go from sleeping VERY early in the evening (6PM at the earliest) and waking at VERY early times in the morning (4AM at the latest) to sleeping VERY late in the morning (6AM at the earliest) and waking up late in the evening (3PM at the latest), i dont really know what causes the shift, but it happens, and i often blame myself for it even though i dont know what causes it...

anyways sorry, this will probably mark a very iffy hiatus, like i said ill be active but not... super active, i didnt check tumblr at all yesterday/monday, so thats kind of the pattern to expect from me depending on the day. In the meantime... i might try to get back into older sims games, ive mentioned this before, but i do have sims 1 on my laptop so maybe ill post stupid little gameplay posts from there (granted i havent played in like... a month 😐). I'll probably put up a poll after this post for people to vote on which sims game i should play- i KNOW i did it once before but im probably gonna do it again cuz i cant find the post and i have over 1000 posts 😭

remember my ex-raider post? no? im referencing it anyway! so anyways heres the new vegas companions ranked for how long admitting to being an ex raider would shut them up, listed longest time to shortest time! you can use it for your own ocs i guess but this is mostly based on my boy cave

boone stopped talking for an entire week after. he'd just barely gotten conversational after 1 month of traveling together towards vegas. he was talking about the ncr too much and too positively. it took 2 more weeks for him to get back to what counts as conversational for boone. hes not really chatty in the first place but his weirdly high trust in the ncr even after what he himself is upset about them putting him through is very grating. cave dropped an additional im a jackal and ex-powder ganger bomb month 3 after craig tried to suggest he enlist after a trip to bitter springs. they never really got to start talking again before boone was killed.

cass went quiet after being told and stayed quiet for 3 entire days. got over it in the end though, but mostly because he's not a raider anymore. nobody tell her its only ex because he literally cannot get back to his old group and he does not trust anyone else enough to run with. probably shouldnt say anything about having considered trying to join the great khans for a while before unfortunate circumstances ended up souring his relationship with most of the great khans he was close to either. this was before she figured out he was an addict which she was honestly way more upset about, she was pestering him to drink with her.

raul took one full day to get over it, actually suspected it for a while beforehand based on cave's vaguely guilty reaction to being told the story of how raul's family died. doesnt really hold it against cave like boone and cass did either. he is the first and for a long time only person to realize cave uses the fact he used to be a raider as an easy single use method to make people shut up and leave him alone for a while. cave used it because he ran out of stuff to keep withdrawal at bay and just needed some quiet time without raul razzing him or kvetching at him. raul is actually semi-prepared to come to cave's defense for when he tells other people that little tidbit about himself if they have a bad reaction to it. not where cave can see him do it though.

arcade took until cave was finished cooking for everyone, so like an hour at most, but wasnt overly hung up on it. cave actually pulled that card out more for arcades benefit then his own because arcade was stumbling over another attempt to cover up his past with the enclave badly. arcade wasnt that torn up over it but could tell cave needed a little time to himself, but not that cave usually uses the ex raider bomb to get time to himself. also semi-prepared to come to caves defense if anyone takes the ex-raider thing badly. it actually helps arcade feel better admitting to being an enclave citizen to cave. they both think their past is much worse then each others.

veronica takes it 2nd best out of everyone at like 30 minutes tops, and thats mostly because she was eating lunch with him. also the only one to really pick up on the fact that he would very much still be a raider if he still had his family and is pretty understanding of this. also fully prepared to play defense with raul and arcade if anyone ever finds out and takes it badly. dude gives her every pristine dress he gets his hands on and has her eternal friendship by now.

grandma lily took zero time to come to terms with it. she was fussing over him for whatever reason and he dropped the ex raider bomb trying to get her off his back for a minute and she said "its okay sweetie, you and your old friends all did what you had to to make it out there in the wasteland. no shame in that at all, grandma still loves you" and ended up making cave cry for the first time in a decade. raul had to take over cooking dinner for the group while he was crying uncontrollably. leader of the jimmy defenders.

I would love it if I could get into social work fields and do like community building and advocacy but they don't pay enough and/or I'd have to get more college and I can't afford it so !? Idk all I really want is something that pays me enough and lets me have hobbies but if it was something I felt good about doing that would be ideal. The company I work for now is morally acceptable for me because it helps people navigate the health insurance disaster in this country but I would also love to do work that would FIX the health insurance disaster in the first place, you know?
