the universe is so against me right now
#tried to make lagana. the dough came out so wrong and hard. idk why . i let it rise and all and it still felt wrong#and then when i was opening it (cause i was determined to bake it even if it came out bad) it had like tray residue or sth#so i threw it away#i decided to make some quick dinner rolls that dont need rising cause it's 11pm at this point#i spilled ¼ cup flour on the floor but i was like whatever I'll just clean it up#then once the dough was ready i tried to move it so that i could have the tray (which i had washed again) next to the bowl#and i dropped it#and my dough fell#so now im not making dinner rolls either.#jo says stuff#personal ramblings

The thing about JC's animosity towards LWJ is, barring LWJ being an ass to JL, it's entirely reactive.
Does JC know why Hanguang-jun one day returned from closed seclusion and decided to act as though JC had pissed in his congee? No! Does he care? It's not actively harmful to YMJ and JC frankly has bigger fish to hunt down than why LXC's younger brother has moods, and it's just a blip in the political situation, so also no.
Is he going to smile and be gracious about it? Fuck no, and fuck you for suggesting it, he's not going to stir shit but he's sure going to sneer back whenever LWJ decides to show his ass. How even are you supposed to be gracious at someone who's decided hates you? (JC knows LWJ's uncle wasn't wounded at the Siege, which tends to be his immediate assumption when he meets someone who hates him for no reason, so. Who the fuck knows.)
Does it occupy even the slightest of his thoughts or otherwise bother him? Definitely not, LWJ's entire existence fades back into Shit JC Doesn't Care About the moment he's not being offensively rude or inconvenient during a night-hunt.

#two things that bug me:#One: the match up. Previous duos were reasonable and in unit. But...I think Mafuyu and Haruka never interacted in a meaningful manner#I can reason it with them being both seawings..which makes sens but it's such a stupid compromise ong#Second: I initally wanted to go with my usual two designs but this time I noticed that they actually matched quite well so ig it's 1.5#nitpicks aside: more trying things out. I was a bit unsure how to tackle seawing clothes since cloth wouldn't be handy underwater...#but then I thought “But what about making cloth that resemble radiolaria?” and threw all reason away I suppose#It's fancy but not fully it...the armor was fun though. i don't fully think the shoulderplates are that well executed but still it's good i#I do think I'll do art like those without the clothing though#It helps portray bodyshapes better like how Mafuyu's bulkier than Haruka. I swear, nothing makes me go bonkers fucking yonkers quite like comparing Athena and Apollos' introductions to the WAA.
When Phoenix asked Athena to come work for the agency, he reached out overseas to get in contact and offer her a job. When Phoenix asked Apollo to come work for the agency, he didn't even mention what the business was called or what they actually did.
On Athena's first day in court, Phoenix showed up and took over for her when she started to break down. On Apollo's first day in court, Phoenix made him an accomplice in crime and almost ruined his career.
When Athena introduces her childhood best friend to the WAA, they get her cleared of murder charges and save a friendgroup. When Apollo tries to introduce his childhood best friend to the agency, he dies before that can even happen.
When Athena returns to the space center, she is greeted by the robots with open arms. When Apollo returns to the space center, he is greeted by the name of a dead man.
When Phoenix sought out Athena as a protégé, it was because he realized how much she was hurting. When Phoenix sought out Apollo as a protégé, its because he realized how much he could be used to hurt others.
