Thinking about the fact that Zuko has had every possible hairstyle Katara could have ever been into (from bald to long hair). He wields dual swords like Jet. He is a powerful bender as the fortune teller intended. He acts as a "vigilante of sorts" like Jet did. He can be a puppy like Haru. He can be a badass like Jet. Truly the most versatile ever. He's the 1000 in 1 boyfriend fr.

Not to mention the parallels with her ofc, if we're going to consider Blue Spirit x Painted Lady shenanigans, the mommy issues, the dry sense of humor, the nerdiness, the sense of responsibility... All things that match Her regardless of her possible interests in romantic partners. It's just too amusing to me.

guys the kiss was so important especially from a narrative and storytelling perspective because it was literally Crowley taking everything that's happened between them, every unsaid intention and every unspoken promise, and making it physical.

He's taking their arrangement and every other bullshit excuse they've ever used to hide how they feel about each other and throwing them out the window to put their feelings into an undeniable physical action that holds a lot of meaning to humans in order to be absolutely sure that Aziraphale knows exactly what he means when he says "we could have been Us." He wants to be absolutely sure that there are no misunderstandings between them and know that Azirphale will be committing to this decision with absolute reassurance that he's been understood and rejected anyway.

he's taking a human action with so much meaning and so much importance, and he's using it as a way to desperately make Aziraphale completely and undeniably aware of what he's stating. No more charades and no more lies or cover-ups. There's no denying this thing between them now, and Crowley did it the human way. Because he and Aziraphale love humanity and it's everything to them in their own ways.

There's a reason we saw a kiss between Crowley and Aziraphale, and not Gabriel and Beelzebub, despite them both being undeniable foils.

and really if you just think about that isn't it so god damned beautiful?

"you’re really gonna kiss him?" he asks, trying to sound casual, but you catch the edge in his voice. you nod, shrugging like it’s no big deal. "it's just work, babe." he scoffs, running a hand through his hair. "work, right." he crosses his arms, leaning against the kitchen counter, clearly not over it. "i just don’t get why they have to make you kiss him." you smile, walking over to him, resting your hands on his chest. "heeseung, it’s literally my job. it means nothing." he lets out a deep sigh, wrapping his arms around your waist. "yeah, well, i don't like it." his lips brush against your forehead, lingering there. "just… don’t get too into it, okay?" you laugh, teasingly. "jealous much?" heeseung grumbles, “always when it comes to you.”

jay raises an eyebrow when you tell him about the kiss scene, leaning back in his chair with his arms crossed. "you're serious?" he asks. "yeah, jay, it's just acting," you reply, trying to keep it light. he scoffs, shaking his head. "i know it’s acting, but does it have to be that kind of scene?" you walk over to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "it’s part of the job. nothing more." jay stares at you for a moment, his jaw tight, then sighs heavily. "i just don’t like the idea of someone else kissing you, even if it’s pretend." his hand slides around your waist, pulling you close. 

𝐒𝐈𝐌 𝐉𝐀𝐊𝐄

jake’s face falls the moment you mention the kiss scene. “wait, so you're actually going to kiss him?” he asks, his voice laced with concern. you nod, trying to stay casual. “it’s just acting, jake. no big deal.” but jake runs a hand through his hair, clearly bothered. “i know, but… can’t they use, like, camera angles or something?” he half-jokes, though you can see the jealousy in his eyes. you walk over, taking his hand. “you know it’s not real, right? it’s just part of the job.” jake sighs, squeezing your hand as if he needs reassurance. “i get that, i do. i just… it’s hard seeing someone else get to be that close to you, even if it's fake.” you lean up, kissing him softly. “don’t worry, i only have eyes for you.” jake chuckles, pulling you into his arms. “you better.”

sunghoon’s eyes narrow as he read through the script. “wait, you have to kiss him?” he asks, his voice tight with jealousy. before you can answer, he’s already dialing the director. “sunghoon?” you try to get his attention, but he ignores you, focused on the ringing phone. “hello, yeah, this is sunghoon. can you remove the kissing scene with y/n and ___?” he demands, his tone leaving no room for argument. . “it’s not necessary for the story,” he adds, as if it’s the most obvious thing in the world. your eyes widen, but he still doesn’t acknowledge you, gripping his phone like it’s his lifeline.
