quick question for the fandom at what point did we decide Rendog was a cool guy. around the hermit king era everyone was like "ah yes a he's got to be a great leader and a good guy because we love him right?" and he was admittedly a very bad king (for plot reasons.) but every drawing and work of fiction from him around that time shows him as this regal nobility when. when this man is just james from team rocket with a plastic crown. he's one of the least slick individuals of all time and that's why we love him in the first place so when did we decide he should be cool. being a strange man is his brand
