we need essays on the politics of adulthood and the politics of childhood because none of this makes any fucking sense
#bitch what the fuck is being an adult!!!#tf you mean the ‘death of childhood’ was it old age or was she murdered?#so much of adulthood is tied to capitalism which is disconnected from reality#so how are you supposed to make sense of that. being adult = 9 to 5 job and rent??#and how children are marginalized by their society a concept that is brand new to me and so interesting#what does it mean!!! what does it mean!!#its like child and adult are just marketable categories with no real cohesion and thats it#and ‘child’ is the natural inferior to ‘adult’ and everyone must rush to be ‘adult’#can we build a world where this actually makes sense and its like. oppressive and eternally confusing#childhood#adulthood#social class

Imagine breaking the news about the seraphim to King
You: I have bad news
King: [let's out a pained sigh] what could be worse than my race being revealed to the world, Kaido losing a fight, our empire falling, losing my wing, and being imprisoned by the very people my boss oppressed?
You: so we just heard from Luffy, and apparently. Vegapunk used the samples that he collected from you all those years ago.
King: [ throws back his head and cries] Fuck!
Queen: What'd he use them for? I had opted for cloning the skin samples to create a fleshy exoskeleton for a cyborg.
You: he made Lunarian cyborg clone-babies of some of the warlords.
Queen: oh! Cyborg Clones, huh? I had personally voted we use the skin samples we collected to create a skin for a mech, but cyborg clones never really occurred to me.
Jack: [guffaws] which ones?
King: [scrunches his eyes closed, crosses his fingers and whispers] not Moira, not Moira, please not Moira.
You: Kuma, Mihawk, Jinbe, and Boa Hancock.
King: how is that so much worse! Boa and Mihawk were intense enough as humans. And Kuma and Jinbe were strong enough due to their own species!
You: from what Nami said, they look around 8 or 9 years old. Vegapunk was kind enough to include pictures and details. [Holds out the package]
King: [can't stand the sight of the files, so he looks at the pictures first and sees they all look like normal photos a parent might take.] These are posed photos, aren't they?
You: most likely
Queen: [peeks over his shoulder] oh Boa is still beautiful as a child. Which makes sense, seeing as she's gorgeous as an adult.
Everyone in the room: [ ಠಗಠ]
King: [holds up a flaming fist] Kaido isn't here to protect you from me anymore.
Jack: [gives Queen a menacing look]
Queen: OH, NO! Not like that! NO!
No one in the room: [believes him]
A week later
You: hey King, so uh, I was wrong.
King: [pinches the bridge of his nose] please, don't.
You: There are other seraphims than the ones I told you about.
Queen: Figures
King: ... There's a Moira seraphim, isn't there?
You: [gives him a pinched smile] yeah, there's a Doflamingo, and a Crocodile seraphim too.
King: a Dofla-! That bastard! Mixing my genes with Moira of all people is bad enough, and to mix in a celestial dragon, especially Doflamingo, is even worse!
Jack: maybe Doflamingo was cute as a kid?
You: Ehh, no. I wanted to punch Doflamingo as an adult, but I want to punch him even more as a child.
King:[notices you are carrying more files] are those the new one's files?
You: yeah.
King: [braces himself and sighs] alright let me see.
You: you're taking this news better than I thought you would. [hands him the files]
Queen & Jack: [huddle closer to get a look]
Jack: [sees the pictures] oh god
Queen: how does Crocodile look more dower as a child?
King: [holds up the pictures of the Moira and Doflamingo seraphim's] these two are my least favorite.
You: Parents aren't supposed to have favorites.
King: ugh, don't call me that, please.
Queen: would you prefer Papa?
King: [pushes him away by his face] shut up

If You Really Love Nothing
chapter 9: never the same person twice
*chapter starts with small flashback*
chapter index | next chapter
“you should bring yuji here at some point, i’m sure he’d have fun” you spoke up whilst laying on top of sukuna, your head on his chest. This was personally your favorite position because you could hear his heart beat and feel his chest rumble when he spoke.
It was supposed to be a date night but it started pouring rain and was simply too cold to be out. So it turned into a movie night with every blanket you had laid on top of the both of you.
He didn’t respond for a few seconds and all you could hear was the muffled voices from the movie as the rain hitting the window became louder yet neither of you bothered to turn up the volume
“eventually but i don’t want to babysit a brat anytime soon” he replied
You don’t know why you feel your heart physically ache, you knew sukuna loved you but he never took you to meet his family nor did he ever bring them into town. You tried not to take it too personal you understood they lived further out and it could be a hassle but you’d think maybe he’d try at some point.
You also think you know nothing about his childhood, he’s only mentioned he doesn’t have parents anymore and that his grandfather and brother is all he had. it felt like no matter what you did or said you couldn’t fully understand him because he never told you anything
“mmmm makes sense how old is he again?” you tried to play off the sadness lingering
“don’t know maybe 8 or 9 right now”
you shot up from his chest “he’s megumis age?”
he just stared at you with an eyebrow raised as if he was asking you who you were talking about
“you do that every time I bring him up just because gojos his guardian” you pouted and rolled your eyes to which he smirked
he leaned forward to kiss your forehead “yeah he’s around the same age”
you went back to laying your head on his chest and started to pick at the loose thread on the blanket you had wrapped around you
“i do want you to meet him someday” he rubbed your back and it shocked you that he even bothered to clarify that for you, he usually just made up for it by being more affectionate with you
you just nodded in response, you didn’t really have any words because you weren’t expecting him to reassure you
Sukuna likes to think he noticed the exact moment you fell asleep because he felt the way your breathing changed. He wrapped his arms around you a little tighter knowing that you were sad.
It wasn’t cause he didn’t love or trust you it was just he didnt quite see a point in telling you about his parents or his grandfather. If it were up to him he’d simply pretend he didn’t have a life before you.
The whole reason he had to move schools was because he had simply fucked up too much where he lived. Getting kicked out of school countless times, narrowly avoiding being arrested and just generally a pain in the ass. His grandfather reached the end of his patience and decided to send sukuna to live with a family friend, uraume. Sukuna hated it at first and swore he’d make uraumes life a living hell but found that maybe it wasn’t so bad— courtesy of you, of course.
His parents were... parents by every technical term. He’s not sure on the details since no one ever told him anything but apparently he was supposed to have a twin, but he didn’t make it during child birth.
Sukuna knows this is what made his mother, kaori, resentful towards him growing up. And his father, jin, well he loved his wife so much that he reflected her behavior. Sukuna grew up neglected in every emotional sense and his other basic needs were barely met and when they were it was with reluctance. His grandfather often stepping into to scold jin about his lack of parenting. Parental love wasn’t something sukuna was graced with and any adult could see that.
He doesn’t talk of them with titles of mom and dad but simply refers to them by their names— he doesn’t think they ever did anything for him to deserve that.
Kaori would look at him with disdain in her eyes and only hugged him on his birthday, but he doesn’t think it was because it was him, but more cause she was mourning. Jin was as withdrawn as a father could be, he was affectionate towards kaori but sukuna speculates that jin probably didn't even want kids.
He wasn’t sure when he stopped crying growing up, he noticed early on that it granted no reactions from his parents so he just trained himself not to. His teachers thought he was freaky and were often scared at his lack of emotion.
And for some reason entirely unknown, kaori and jin decided to have another child. Sukuna thinks it was to replace him or to start over. It didn’t matter to him anyways, kaori passed away due to complications during yujis birth.
Jin took this as an opportunity to abandon Sukuna and yuji not even two years later to no one’s surprise. Leaving the boys in their grandfathers care for the better part of their lives. Sukuna doesn’t know where jin is now or if he’s even alive, he hopes he’s living a miserable life, something befitting of a man like him.
Sukuna doesn’t look back on his past with pity or sadness, in fact he just pretends it didnt happen. It would make no sense to dwell on it and he finds it pointless to even think about it (although anyone could see it obviously had a lasting effect on his behavioral and emotional issues). As far as he was concerned, family wise, all he had to mildly concern himself with was his brother and occasionally his granfather, when he wasn’t getting on sukunas case.
Maybe when yujis older sukuna would bring him around, he has too much of a big mouth right now, he’d surely tell you about their parents. He’s not too worried if you would get along with yuji, much to his chagrin he had to admit anyone who met the brat could never hate him (sukuna thinks they just haven’t spent enough time around the kid).
————
“you guys are almost done with finals!” you said excitedly as you placed airis food in front of her. Everyone was fine with ordering pizza, as celebration for the boys almost being on winter break, but airi hates pizza so you made her something different. This prompted a shocked reaction from yuji, he couldn’t believe she didn’t like pizza he insisted it was one of the best foods ever.
You sat at the table joining airi, satoru, megumi and yuji who were waiting for you to start eating
“yes, thankfully i don’t think i can do another test without my brain melting” yuji joked
“i don’t know they weren’t too bad this time around” megumi shrugged to which yuji responded by rolling his eyes
“Megumi i expect straight A’s or your disowned” satoru sarcastically stated with one finger pointed in the air
“is that a promise?”
And while gojo reacted in the most dramatic way possible airi spoke up before gojo said something dumb again
“can i have some?” she asked yuji and pointed at his pizza
you whipped your head to her shocked that she was asking for a food she didn’t like even more so that she asked yuji.
She had definitely warmed up to him considering he’d been over for dinner almost every night since he found out. She was excited that someone other than gojo would play tea party so enthusiastically with her.
“here baby you can have some of mine” you tore off a piece and put it on her plate but she shook her head
“no i want his”
Yuji looked at you and you looked at him then to gojo and megumi
“and why is that?”
“he said it’s good”
it’s hilarious that she met this kid a few days ago and just cause he’s fun to play with she’s considering eating a food she hates just cause he said it was good
yuji laughed and airi furrowed her brows not understanding what was so funny “sure you can try some” he finally replied
“you don’t have to yuji it’s fine she doesn’t even like it” you told him before he tore off a piece
“no it’s fine are you kidding? if it means she ends up liking pizza it’ll be worth it”
he gave her a small piece and everyone watched as she slowly picked it up, gojo took out his phone to record this momentous occasion— airi not being a picky eater.
She ate the piece and her eyes widened “mommy it’s good!” she smiled and you let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding, you don’t know why it makes you anxious that she might say something rude that would (unintentionally) hurt yujis feelings
she made grabby hands and looked at you “can i have some more?”
“what do you say?” you’re trying to get her to remember her manners more often
“please?” she said hoping that was the right answer
you smiled and gave her a small slice of pizza, to which she ate happily. Megumi even found himself shocked that she was so open to it
“well that’s a new one” gojo nudged your arm as he sent you the video he had just taken
“i’m just glad she didn’t cry” you joked “thank you for letting her have some” you looked to yuji
he nodded in response “is she really that much of a picky eater?”
“you have no idea” megumi mumbled
“right now the only thing she’ll eat is peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches— i don’t get it she can’t only have that” you said kind of desperately you were running out of things to get her to eat
“airi you need to try burgers next” yuji joked but she wasn’t even paying attention she was too busy eating her newfound food
“maybe we can get her to eat something else for megumis birthday” gojo said
“or christmas” megumi added
you noticed yujis mood shifted slightly after the mention of christmas “are you doing anything for christmas yuji?”
he shook his head “nah probably not sukuna treats it like any other day”
You let your mind wander to the holidays you spent with sukuna, sure he was never enthusiastic but he would just do whatever you said you wanted to do in the end.
You laugh to snap yourself back into the moment “to be honest, so do we it’s more just an excuse to buy gifts and eat our favorite foods, you can join us if you want to”
he perked up at your invite “i shouldn’t—“ he cut himself off he knows he should try to spend it with his brother but if he was being honest with himself would sukuna even acknowledge him “do you guys mind?”
“not at all! that’s why i invited you, you’re always welcomed here” you smiled at him
“yeah and we have about 50 other foods we need you to get airi to eat” gojo said opening up his notes app writing down the things airi dislikes that gives everyone the most trouble at dinner
megumi was surprised you invited him but not upset he doesn’t think it would be too bad
“i’d really like that, thank you” yuji smiled
Yuji wouldn’t bring it up if not asked he still feels he’s intruding somehow, it’s still a big change he’s not used to. In the moments he’s talking with all of you and playing with airi he loses himself and has to remind himself that he is really just there by your good will. Even if he was friends with fushiguro at any moment you could decide he cant come around anymore. At least thats how he saw it.
The rest of the dinner went smoothly and afterwards yuji and megumi studied for their final test before yuji announced he had to go home
“I can give you a ride this time, yuji” you smiled at him
Gojo turned to look at you but you just waved him off, you wanted to speak to yuji about how he was doing but you didnt want to pry in front of megumi. You dont want to scare yuji away by being too concerned but you cant help yourself.
———
Sukunas been thinking about what he would say to you when he finally does see you, he isn’t even sure how you would react. He wants you to be happy to see him, he wants to see your smile and hear your laugh. He hasn’t heard it in years and yet it plays in his mind often.
He wants you to look at him with eyes full of love, the way you used to. He swore he’d be able to see every thought in your mind whenever you stared up at him, like you were trying to tell him how much you loved him in any way you could. It irritated him greatly that he was so weak at the thought of speaking to you, its really not who he is, he swears. He washes out the too sweet thoughts of you with the bitter taste of his now warm beer, he took too long to drink it and now he barely wanted it.
He was supposed to be working on paperwork he brought home but instead found his thoughts wandering back to you, as they always do. Its been happening far too much for his taste, zoning out, simply because you were stuck in his head you and his pure hatred for gojo. Every time he pictures you in his mind an image of that white haired bastard just has to pop up and it irritates his soul. Sukunas distaste for gojo wasn't all that prevalent in high school, yes he was annoying but thats how most people saw gojo. It wasn’t until you just had to spend time with gojo and megumi, in sukunas mind there was really no reason other than you wanting to be nice and irked him that gojo got to see that side of you.
He was gonna call it a night and just head to his room but he got a text from yuji saying he’d be coming home soon. Yuji had never really texted him a heads up before so sukuna thought it was strange.
If he was honest yujis behavior had been weird for the past few days. He figured it was the argument about you, but yuji usually recovers from their disagreements pretty fast. Instead, he has has barely been home and when he is, he avoids sukuna, not even greeting him. Sukuna isn’t hurt, truly he never thought he’d see the day Yuji finally stopped talking all the time but he was annoyed that he was being ignored. He may be spending time with you and gojo now but sukuna was still his guardian and older brother, he still needed to have authority.
If yujis on his way home that means he got a ride from gojo most likely and sukuna swears he’ll confront him, about you or about his brother hes not sure yet. Either way he steps outside with his beer in his hand waiting in front of his house to give gojo an earful.
———
“Bye airi! Ill see you next time okay?” Yuji tried to sound as enthusiastic as he could, he wanted airi to think he was cool as ridiculous as it sounded, he really wanted to be a good uncle.
What neither you nor yuji expected was for her to start tearing up as she ran to hug yuji, something she had yet to do. You couldnt contain your smile knowing that airi finally warmed up to him and you caught yujis look of surprise before hugging her back.
Airi looked up at you while wiping her eyes, you were worried she was gonna throw a fit especially because she was tired but she just sniffled before speaking “when?”
“When is he coming back?” You asked her making sure you understood what she was asking
She nodded before you continued “oh I don’t know baby, thats up to him” you bent down to brush her hair out of her face
“I’m not sure when I can but for his birthday i’ll for sure be here!” Yuji told airi as he pointed to where megumi was sitting and she slowly nodded, she understood megumis birthday was soon considering she constantly asked you about it
You asked gojo to put airi to bed for the night but you had a feeling she wouldn't sleep until you tucked her in, but its fine it shouldn’t take too long to drop yuji off.
The first few minutes of the ride were quiet as yuji scrolled through his phone before you spoke up “how are you feeling about everything?”
You know its only been a few days but you still felt you needed to ask, you cant imagine what its been like for yujis conscience
“Ive been okay, im happy about you and airi I really am” he trailed off for a few seconds “its just I cant really look at sukuna the same”
You wanted to tell him thats exactly what you were afraid of but he kept going “not because I can’t tell him about her, but because I find myself not wanting to tell him at all… and sometimes it sucks cause I wanna slap some sense into him but” he shrugged instead of finishing his sentence
“Im sorry yuji” but he only shook his head in response he didn’t think you had anything to apologize for, his irritation was more directed to his brothers immaturity
“Theres something I promised myself that if it happens then I’ll tell sukuna” this caught yujis attention as he turned to look at you “a sincere apology”
Yuji noticed a small smile form on your face before you continued “when we dated I feel like I used to let sukuna get away with things if he upset me because he truly is all bark and no bite and he’d show me his remorse through the stuff he’d do for me, I know it sounds toxic”
Yuji looked at you with slight concern, maybe you were just delusional because he knows sukuna doesn’t really do anything for anybody. And he definitely was not all bark, but maybe his brother was really just that different with you
“If he says sorry for the way we broke up and the way he left me that second time and I feel its sincere then id tell him about airi” you slightly turned your head to look at yuji and he had a hopeful look in his eyes before it quickly changed “I dont want an apology for the break up itself, if its what he wanted I can’t change that but I do know I deserved to know why”
You both knew that sukuna apologizing would be a miracle within itself and maybe you learned to accept it would never happen. Yuji in time would come to accept it too, it all laid on his brothers shoulders.
Yuji has a small part of him that thinks maybe, just maybe you’d be the person sukuna would apologize for.
“He better do it soon” yuji jokingly replied still staring out the window
You laughed as you focused on the road “I know, it may be hard to believe but I don’t want him to miss everything about airis life y’know? I just need to make sure I don’t make the same mistake as I always did”
“Do you still love him?” Yuji quickly spat out and maybe it was too invasive because you stopped smiling
“I think a part of me always will but I’m still in love with a Sukuna that doesn’t exist anymore” it happens, you never meet the same person twice, not even in the same person and it’s what terrified you about eventually speaking to sukuna again, what if he was someone you don't know anymore?
Yuji hummed in response as he noticed that the car pulled into his street and as you parked in the front of his house he felt his heart drop. Sukuna was waiting out front... in the freezing cold weather? It made absolutely no sense yet there he was with an obviously dissatisfied look on his face. Yuji turned to look at you but you already noticed sukuna and he noticed a sadness took over the look in your eyes that he hadn’t seen before.
“Thank you for the talk and the ride, i’ll see you guys soon definitely for fushiguros birthday” he awkwardly smiled
You hadn’t really heard what yuji said because all your attention shifted to sukuna, everything around you became silent and there were so many memories flooding your mind. And worst of all is that he looked so good. You’re not even sure how he managed to get more attractive but he did, his face had changed, like he matured. He also became more buff you felt yourself trying to shove every positive emotion towards him down, you couldn’t forget everything just because he got hotter.
You noticed yuji was still staring at you so you spoke up “yeah, of course! im sorry we’ll see you then, thank you for coming over today” you smiled as he got out of the car
You watched as yuji approached sukuna and as he did sukuna finally looked at who was driving the car. You maybe imagined it but you swore you saw his eyes slightly widen, and your breath hitched as you and sukuna made eye contact. It felt like an eternity and you didn’t want to tear your eyes away. You felt the sting of tears in your eyes as you began to chew on your lip trying to ground yourself. Your breathing began to speed up as well, and you couldn't believe you were actually dreading seeing him after years of thinking if you saw him one last time you'd get some closure. You didnt exactly prepare for this moment nor did you think it would come so soon, gojo never said anything about seeing sukuna whenever he'd occasionally drop yuji off.
Sukuna said something to yuji but you’re not sure what, and handed yuji the beer he had been drinking. Yuji headed inside the house as sukuna started to walk to the car and you could hear your heart beat in your ears. It’s been years theres no way he’s gonna see you like this, in your lazy outfit with no make up, and worst of all with airis carseat in the back. You were tempted to start driving away but maybe you spent too much time thinking because before you knew it sukuna was knocking on the drivers side window.
You slowly opened the car door as little as you could as you stepped out, if you rolled down the window he’d have a more clear view of airis area in your backseat. The food crumbs from earlier that day still on the seat, and her beanie left behind. There would be no hiding that from him.
Sukuna backed away from the opening door and crossed his arms, he didn’t think he’d see you so soon. The second he saw that it was you who dropped yuji off he spoke without thinking and told yuji to go inside. He should’ve just gone inside himself and not even bothered to approach you but the moment he saw you he felt himself automatically moving.
As you stepped out of the car he noticed you seemed scared. Why would you be scared? Since when was that a look you ever wore around him, it made his eye twitch slightly. He tries to convince himself that maybe you're just tense because you're nervous. And you looked tired, a tired he hadn’t seen before that didn’t seem entirely like physical exhaustion.
And worst of all, when you finally lifted your head to really look up at him he thinks any love you had for him may have died. There wasn’t a single emotion or reaction in your eyes, your eyes that usually told him everything were suddenly unreadable.
He cleared his throat before speaking “hey”
You exhale, blaming the shaking in your voice on the cold air “hey”

Guess who's still crying about Beast? Me! I watched the movie and read the beggining and end of the light novel because I got lazy. Not expecting the end in the movie though. Spoiler drawing ahead and comments btw
Made me so sad. I was going to rant in another post, but I might as well do it here.
So, number one, the sugar cube scene was so adorable I literally cried. I mean it. Like I LITERALLY sobbed.
Number 2, Oda WHYYYYYYYY?! I'M LITERALLY CRYING WHILE TYPING WRITE NOW THINKING ABOUT IT. YOU ARE FRIENDS, YOU ARE, PLEASEEEE. DAZAI'S FACE WHEN HE PULLED THE GUN OUT IN THE BAR AND TOLD HIM NOT TO CALL HIM ODASAKU WAS LIKE A SLAP TO THE FACE.
Number 3, When at the end of the movie, Fyoder was being a little rat and messed everything up, I wanted to vomit out of an array of emotions. I was confused, sad, angry, and just so dang overwhelmed. Like I was ugly crying five seconds ago cuz of Dazai and then this SEWER RAT came and made me confused. I'll get into him in anothe post.
Number 4, In the movie, when Dazai stabbed his leg to show Chuuya his commitment and how much he deserves his trust didn't make sense when I saw it, however, after I recently read the book and watched the play Julius Ceaser, I was like OOOOOOOOH. Dazai immitating Portia and Chuuya Brutus made me just sooo....wow.
Number 5, When it turned out that MORI was the new director I just- absolutley NOT. Do NOT put a pedophile in his perfect Utopia, Dazai WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! Also, I thought he killed him the whole time. Just think about it. A pedophile in an orphanage. You know how if you're being sexually assulted or something, you're supposed to tell a trusted adult like a parentor a teacher? THESE KIDS HAVE NO PARENTS.
Number 6, Chuuya being locked up in that poor governemnt facility broke my heart. Just think about how many people are going to die? Like there is no way Chuuya Nakahara is going to succumb to a bunch of itsy bitsy chains. He' breaking out and killing everyone in there and then the agency. Convince me otherwise.
Number 7, I can't. I'll make an entirely seperate post for Chuuya too, but can we just talk for a second? He went crazy because Dazai committed suicide. He went on a whole rampage and it took 3 special ability resistance units to take him down. This is what happens when there is no Dazai when he uses corruption. But the REASON he went into corruption was just...wow. I always knew they had a complicated relationship but at the same time it was just so simple. Like, they hate eachother, but they also don't. They don't like eachother, but it's not like they don't either. It's not like they complete one another, but it's like one soul in two bodies. They're so simply complicated that if you asked me what their relation was, I'd just say, they're complications. Because in reality, their relationship is just so unexplainable. You need to see it to understand it. There are relationships like lovers, enemys, frenemies, friends, siblings, etc, but they fit into literally no category but they aren't strangers either. This is getting too long, so I'll make a different post about that.
Number 8, Chuuya pleaseeee don'ttttt. There is no need to attack the agency, my guy. He wants to avenge Dazai's death, but what is there to avenge? Dazai did suicide. He wasn't killed. Chuuya was so upset that he wanted to kill all the agency. I just....can't. It's kind of sad. This is also going to be really long if I go on, so I'll make another post about this topic.
Number 9, the way Chuuya just really couldn't understand made me wanna bang my head on the wall in tears. He truly couldn't think of why Dazai did it. He was kind of alright one second and then dead the next. The entire time, you can tell how little Chuuya was incorporated into the script he wrote. The ending for each one was different as the movie had him go insane and be put under governemnt care, while the light novel just left him to do his own thing. However, in both you can see that neither of them ever knew what was going on. Dazai never gave him a reason to why he killed himself. Everyone else seems to be going on like nothing happened or at least as if they know what happened and came to terms with it, but then he knows nothing. He was his bodyguard and right hand man and yet NOTHING. I'll get back to this in another post lol. TvT
So yeah. I cried a lot.

Confusing Words
Recoms(Zdog and Lyle) x Child!Reader
Summary: When Y/n gets a very late start into education she quickly realizes how confusing the English Language is.
Warnings: none
This is my first fic so it is pretty short
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
Living practically your whole life on a different plant is pretty cool, but it comes with its flaws. In this case it would be education, specifically Y/n's. Y/n Ardmore, the generals daughter, who despite being 11 barely had any education at all. This was because only the essential people came to Pandora and teachers weren't on that list. Plus, no kids were supposed to be here anyway but being the daughter of the woman that was running the whole operation made Y/n "The special case."
So Y/n was thrown to the scientists. Now these people were smart but they were used to teaching other adults not children but luckily they found some books on a supply shipment.
But Y/n asked the one person she shouldn't have to help her- Lyle.
____________________________________
"So, what's this one?" Y/n asked, her brow furrowed in confusion as she examined the odd spelling on the paper.
"That's tomb," Lyle replied, his voice tinged with exasperation. He regretted agreeing to help Y/n with her spelling. Being a marine, he wasn't exactly cut out for educatng children.
They were seated at a canteen table, specifically the recoms table, where the 9-foot blue marines usually gathered. Lyle found himself hunching over just to meet Y/n at eye level. The table had been custom-made to accommodate their size, but it made Y/n appear incredibly small in comparison.
"Tomb," the little girl giggled lightly, her eyes flitting over to the recom. "That's a funny word." Lyle couldn't help but smile slightly at her innocent amusement. "Yeah, it is, isn't it?"
Y/n's eyes returned to the paper, her gaze fixed on the rows of words. "This one is boom then?" Her face lit up with a big smile, proud of herself for getting one right. However, her smile faded when the recom chimed in.
"No, that's bomb," the recom corrected. Confusion clouded Y/n's face as she pointed to the previous word. "But if this is tomb," she reasoned, moving her finger to the other word, "shouldn't this one be boom? They're spelled almost the same except for the T and the B."
Lyle started to answer, prepared with an explanation, when Zdirnask suddenly plopped down at the table on the opposite side of Y/n. "What are we working on?"
"Words," Y/n replied, moving the paper to show Zdirnask. She pointed to the section they were currently on. "Confusing words."
Zdirnask's smirk grew as she glanced at the paper and saw the words in question,
Tomb
Bomb
Comb
She glanced over at Lyle, amusement dancing in her eyes. "Well, those certainly are some tricky words."
__
By now the whole team was piling into the canteen. Their eyes immediately landing on their two teammates and the child, all hunched over and looking confused and frustrated.
As they neared the table the started to pick up the conversation, "-but if this is not com or coom, what is it?"
"That's comb."
Y/n's mouth hung open, eyes squinted as she looked down at the paper as if it had insulted her, "That doesn't make any sense!"
"What doesn't make any sense?" Brown asked as he took a seat next to Lyle.
"These words! You can't just change the way a word sound just because the letter at the beginning is different."
Her little rant pulled a chuckle from the group.
"It's not funny. If this one is tomb," she started, "Then this one should be boom. Plus, how is this comb? It's stupid."
Mansk, who had sat in the seat directly in front of Y/n, smirk down at her, "What's the next one?"
"Um... Ka-nife" (Knife)
"Oh come on!"

Amai’s Week
I didn’t even know until today that Amai had a week, that’s how hard this game fell off. Anyway, boy do I have some criticisms.
1) We need that many ways to enter a building in a mission? Why? It ends the same no matter what. The mission is still linear.
2) The dialogue in this game is so stiff and not how people talk. Never played a Hitman mission where the target said “I’m going to be here at X time, doing Y thing, blah blah blah” but Amai is kind enough to specify the times she’ll be serving food. Yeah, it’s kind of intuitive to not exit the classroom and start serving octodogs, the cooking club should know it’ll only be at morning, lunch and after school.
3) Amai’s sabotage events are so silly. I remember jokingly thinking “what? are we going to be giving him a pink apron or something?” as a JOKE. And then it HAPPENED, essentially. These characters are meant to be adults LARPing as teenagers but even a teenager has more maturity than “oh, you made an apron I didn’t like!” What? Did Ayano draw a swastika on it or another hate symbol? The game refers to it as a ‘lame’ apron, which implies it’s more likely that Ayano used a bland colour scheme. I’m sorry, but “I wanted a black apron but you made me a pink one, that offends me” is not on the same level. And by the way- if Amai’s food is giving people food poisoning due to Ayano’s sabotage, why is she still allowed to run the bake sale???
I was genuinely thinking “surely, it’s more going in this direction” during the picnic talk. It was. So, what? Amai is supposed to control the insects?
If you sabotage all of Amai’s events, Senpai should get the sense that she’s a BAD COOK. Literally all. Her sabotage events are NOT enough to warrant being cut off or rejected.
4) I like how no one in this game questions a giant ass water fountain placed randomly in a room.
5) THE LOVE CONFESSION DOESN’T MAKE AMAI LOOK GOOD, EITHER. Who the FUCK says “yeah, I know I’ve known you for a week, but I was actually pissed at you for mourning your dead friend because… what about me???”
OKAY, TO BE FAIR, THAT “MAKE SURE YOU KEEP THAT IN MIND” LINE FROM AYANO GOES HARD ASF 🔥
6) Okay lol I just. I love how funny Kizana is.
I like to imagine Ayano and Senpai are in some Truman Show situation where Info-chan is just hiring all these colourful personalities to rizz Senpai to create the craziest situations ever. Like Ayano is just some institutionalised person who was dragged out by a studio to be exploited in her dire mental state. Can’t wait to get Kizana in 2025 and Oka in 2026.
Look I’m an Amai defender but spitting in someone’s food is VILE. The reason I don’t go to… let’s call it OldRonalds is because three employees spat in my food. I had three occasions. Yeah, wasn’t risking a fourth. AND IT’S IMPLIED SHE DID THIS SEVERAL TIMES. That is NASTY.
7) Yeah I definitely talk to myself when cooking. That’s totally normal.
8) SHE TELEPORTS IMMEDIATELY TO THE FLOOR. ALSO HOW WOULD NO ONE HEAR THAT???
9) A small pet peeve of mine over the years is the line “oh my god! is that a dead body?” when talking about their classmates. Akademi is a small school, where everyone should know each other. Maybe- like “Oh my god! [character’s surname, because it’s Japan, or whatever their nickname is considering Akademi has nicknames]? A-are you okay? I need to get help!”
10) Ben Shoku-ro asks us to essentially stalk Amai. Very normal. See, this is why I headcanon that Akademi is just a mental institution disguised as some… high school LARP. A very ineffective one, too.
11) I like how everyone has the exact same criticism with the exact same wording towards Amai’s cooking.
12) “You shoot 100% of the takes you don’t miss” is such a funny quote. No shit Sherlock.
13) “juvenile delinquent” aren’t they 18? C’mon, if you’re gonna use the “they’re actually 18” excuse, be consistent about it.
14) Welcome to Writing 101. In Inkyu and Sakyu’s conversation on Friday, the pink one (Inkyu, I believe) says “however?” While Inkyu is gathering her thoughts. It doesn’t add tension to the scene, they’re talking about fucking studying. It happens twice, actually. It’s awkward and drags on too long. I’m a writer, not a programmer, but surely there has to be a way to make the dialogue end faster?
Also Horuda canonically drawing kill art is real asf. She is not okay in the head and is expressing her emotions to avoid doing something dangerous. This is what we call showing, not telling. This is something this game struggles at.
15) Wait, Kyuji stalking Osana is a bounty? What if the player match made them? Is the game seriously gonna punish you for doing the pacifist route?
16) Why can Toga walk on bushes???
Okay if Senpai’s new personality is himbo than I kinda fw him.
HELP DID YANDEREDEV FORGET TOGA WASN’T A CREEP SO HAD TO RETCON IT?? Same with Horo, though I think Horo being weird was inferred by the demon Easter egg.
17) Also, another general criticism, but the dialogue in this game is so wonky. Instead of “Hey, blah blah, did you know blah blah dislikes gossip?” It could be “Hey, blah blah, X said to me gossipers were all evil people. Ridiculous, right? Who doesn’t gossip from time to time? Guess that’s what I’m doing” or something shorter than that. And things like money and violence shouldn’t even be discussable topics. I’m sorry but “Hey, Horuda Umetsu, did you know Amai Odayaka dislikes violence” would receive an “okay? don’t we all?” IRL. Like even though Horuda is prone to violence no one’s going around shaming people for disliking it WTF.
(Edit: Btw, before Amai came out, I made my own version of Amai’s week a year ago, along with the other rivals, but honestly? They suck. I’ll add them anyway, if you wanna check them out, but I got lazy halfway through and began half assing stuff: Amai, Kizana, Oka, Asu, Muja, Mida, Osoro, Hanako, Megami. I’m not saying these are better than the game. The way I characterised Kizana, for example? Canon Kizana is much better. The writing on these posts were somehow cringier than the actual writing. Why share it then? Dunno. I like humiliating myself? Oddly, I got a lot of nice DM’s from people about them at the time. I also made a shitty AU.) (I have more posts over there, like a mission mode concept ending) (also, it was only a year ago, but I feel like my writing has improved a ton since then)
Addendum: Not sure if I gave the impression I support YandereDev. I don’t.

So rewatching the prequels and I noticed something
In the second movie when Obi wan jokes about Anakin being the death of him. Anakin says that he sees Obi wan as a FATHER figure “the closest thing i have ever had to a father”
BUT
Multiple times we have seen Obi wan say that Anakin is like a BROTHER to him. (In the movies and shows)
- which makes sense when you think about how young he was when to took on Anakin as a Padawan. He wan’t even sure if he was ready to be a knight let alone raise a 9 year old
While Obi wan and Anakin had an amazing and close relationship in both the movies and in clone wars. They also often had these like moments of frustration with each other that they never really talk about and definitely make it easier for Palpatine to make Anakin doubt Obi wan/their relationship.
With this information of Anakin looking at Obi wan as a father figure and Obi wan viewing himself more as a teacher/older brother it is easy to guess that it was probably frustrating, especially Anakin, if they did not realize they viewed the nature of their relationship differently.
A teacher pushes you and guide you to improve, but there isnt the emotional connection that a parent child or sibling relationship would have
An older sibling jokes with you and at you, dose fun things with you, gives you advice… and while closer than a teacher still not like a child and there parent
A parent teach their child, but they are mainly supposed to guid their child to adult hood. Helping them to understand who they are, what they are feeling and how the world work around them. They are who you go to with the really random questions. And most importantly they are supposed to be the one person you can always count on to be in your corner, who will tell you that you did a good job, that they are proud of you.
Especially with Palpatines manipulation influencing him (stepping in to overly lavish Anakin in praise while also feeding his insecurities) Anakins comments about Obi wan being overly critical make sense.
Similar to Anakins frustration with Obi wans “blind faith” in the Jedi code and refusal to disagree with the council. When anakin struggles to follow the code and has a rocky relationship with the council.
Anakin’s expectation of the relationship are different from Obi wan’s.

The plot kicks off in earnest and the midnight hour is close at hand, it's time for honey cake (medovyk) and tea.
This is my reread of the Lockwood and Co. Books, organized by @blue-boxes-magic-and-tea, I'll make a general summary of several chapters and then post bits and pieces that jumped out at me.
Part III, Chapters 9-12:
Things continue to go pear shaped. I find it interesting how Stroud manages to thread the needle of reader sympathy towards the protagonists. The writing makes it clear that they did mess up and the house fire was avoidable. And this is not all on one person - Lockwood could have pulled rank and insist they leave but didn’t, Lucy had the chance to leave after the first manifestation but didn’t. Lockwood forgot the chains. Lucy lobbed Greek Fire indoors. All of this is bad. And when you meet Barnes you sort of agree with him to a point about them being irresponsible, but he’s so high handed and dismissive of the trio you can’t help but be on their side. The government keeps telling these kids they should listen to the government, because the government is full of adults that know so much better than they do. But if this was really the case the government would not allow children to do this dangerous work at all. You can't have it both ways! Either these kids know nothing and adults really are smarter, in which case let them go study trigonometry and pass notes in class already and, as smart adults, find some different way to battle The Problem that doesn’t involve high mortality child labor. OR. Let the kids do their job and admit you’re not operating within some perfect and fair system where the presence of an adult magically fixes everything or makes anyone safer. We meet so many adults in this universe and the majority of them are awful and take horrific advantage of children to enrich themselves on The Problem. None of them are sufficiently controlled in this universe because it is not in the government’s interest to do so. The kids sense this and revolt, if they are to die they want to die on their own terms! This is what happens when governments fail the people they are supposed to protect and when the desire to make money trumps acting in the interests of the public good.
Odds and Ends, Side A:
10/10 chapter opening. On par with “the building was on fire and it wasn’t my fault”. Reader attention fully captured.
Lucy “no I totally don’t care how I look, I swear” Carlyle maintaining if she ever came back as a ghost she’d be a hot cool ghost thankyou very much is so funny to me, just peak teenager insecurity and vanity but in a very endearing way.
There’s the thing about George – he can learn. Not just from books but in real life he can take criticism to heart if it’s laid out plainly. Even if it’s mean. This is probably his most amazing attribute. He dislikes hypocrisy and doesn’t have time for any kind of jabs or hints that are difficult to interpret. But someone lobs a criticism straight at him, he won’t dismiss it outright. In so many ways he is the most emotionally mature of the trio.
I’ve been thinking a lot in this reread about why George was so hostile to Lucy from the start and I think it comes down to the fact that he saw Lucy as someone who would make Lockwood more reckless. She is a gifted Listener, George knew Lockwood enough to realize this will make him more likely to rush off into the fray without research and Lucy being not especially academically minded would not stop him. I think he was worried that they would feed negatively off each other and outvote him. Which … they did at first, it’s true, George was completely right. Lucy goes along with whatever Lockwood says because she trusts him, because she admires him, because she doesn’t want him to think less of her. This behavior continues later too - she snarks at him plenty, calls him names, makes fun of him, sure. But ultimately she has a hard time saying “no” to him. And finding that balance of how much to go along with Lockwood’s plans and when to contradict him is I think a huge part of her arc in this series.
This pantomime of Victorian gentility is hilarious. The year is (arguably) 2013 and yet this sounds like a scene from Agatha Christie. Barnes knows Lockwood is home, Lockwood knows Barns knows he’s home but this presenting of a visiting card and “show him in” ritual has to be observed because this whole society hasn’t moved on from 1953 in six decades.
I am not the right person to give a post-colonial literary analysis of the Lockwood books but I would be the first to want to read it. There’s a lot there in terms of portrayal of indigenous beliefs, what colonial powers learn and refuse to learn from them and how they appropriate them. Barnes sees a collection of artefacts from all over the world meant to deal with ghosts and immediately dismisses them, seeing only the methods he’s familiar with as correct. He does not stop to appreciate the fact that the idea of contacting the dead and laying them to rest is an issue that in some way or another humanity has been dealing with for millennia and all around him is evidence of the fact that not one of these cultures resorted to shoving their young to act as meat shields to do it. The variety of the artifacts speaks to the idea that there may be different approaches possible, different avenues to explore. On what basis but good old-fashioned racism is this dismissal of a ghost catcher in a universe where ghosts are real and do real harm to real people? Does a country dealing with such a crisis not owe it to its citizens to investigate every possibility instead of just consigning a large proportion of their children to a very high possibility of death and telling them that they can’t even do it on their terms, no, the government and large corporations must manage how they die!
And the idea of “it belongs in a museum” is especially laughable in this context. Presumably he means a British museum despite the fact that all these artifacts are foreign. There’s something so on the nose about a very British man dismissing knowledge from other cultures as useless and indicating he views those cultures themselves as extinct when he himself lives on the bones of a long dead empire enforces the practicing the most barbaric shit imaginable.
There is also something so very sad about Lockwood’s encyclopedic knowledge of every gord and mask in the house. Like he never to a chance to know his parents to he memorized everything about their research to get as close to them as possible.
George is the most verbally brutal of the trio and I love that for him
Here again is that Lockwood duality. We later learn sleeps in his parent’s old room - the ultimate symbol of his attempts to play the adult. Like the suits, like running his own agency, like his many successful and unsuccessful attempts to mimic adult behavior. How successful he is really is … not certain. Lucy is not a reliable narrator and even she is clearly unconvinced sometimes, but he clearly can pull it off to some extent. But every now and then we get a glimpse into the fact that he also, in a very sad and stubborn way, clings to a childhood that was horrifically and unfairly ripped from him. The baby mobile in his seemingly adult bedroom is a neat encapsulation of Lockwood himself.
This man is incapable of staying angry at his beloved for more than like … 15 mins tops.
Please turn the cassette over to side B (see reblog for more)

oh wow, it looks like Disney's Primos is coming out - I thought they shelved it!
I showed my parents the trailer, and they immediately said that the main character looks just like I did when I was little lmao, because it's true
Because, like, 1)I'm Chicane, and we have the exact same coloring, 2)I had short hair and braces from ages 9-11, 3)I had many many pairs of jean shorts, 4)glasses, lol, and 5)my mom shaved my unibrow every month when I was little
And then, of course, the premise - when I was 8 I had to live with my cousins for Summer (+ one month of school) before we moved in with my grandparents bc *~*technically we were homeless for several years*~*
How many cousins? Well, first with only 3, but then there were problems, so then we moved in with a different tía, who, at the time, had 7 kids.
(if anyone's curious, I have 20 cousins total, with 1 more on the way)
Being in single 3 bedroom house (with 2 makeship rooms in the garage) with 7 cousins, 4 adults, and my little brother was. Um. An experience.
But anyway, after I showed my parents the trailer, I told them this show was supposed to premiere a year ago but had controversies after the theme song dropped, then I showed them the original theme song to see if anything caught their attention.
And sure enough, absolutely nothing. My mom questioned the nickname Nachos, bc it can sound kinda iffy, but nothing else caught their attention.
(and oh, for context, they both grew up in LA, both growing up translating for their parents)
I showed them some clips of why people hated it, and yeah, they were confused bc they would say "oye primos," not "oigan primos." I guess my grandparents weren't concerned with teaching exact grammar at home, more concerned with making sure that my parents were learning english at school
everyone being mad at "terremoto heights" was um. weird. because we're constantly making earthquake jokes, because we're waiting for The Big One, which we know will inevitably screw us over and possible strand us without water and home if/when it comes. but we still joke about it, you know? my whole class made earthquake jokes, and my parents made earthquake jokes when they were in school and they lived through the LA quakes
it makes me wonder if Animaniacs released their "A Quake" song today, would people have been up in arms as much as they have for Primos?
but I guess changing it is fair, if Disney wants to have an international release. even if making earthquake jokes is part of SoCal culture.
they were really surprised about the nickname controversies, because here in SoCal, those nicknames are like. pretty common. yes, even the one that they ended up changing. it's almost as if words have different connotations in different places..........
ANYWAY the biggest thing is that they agreed that the voice actress was out of line (although they think it's obvious that the "shithole" comment was poking fun at trump and that that was being taken out of context in bad faith) but - and this is an inside joke I'm not gonna elaborate on - makes sense considering her name
(IF YOU'RE A MUTUAL OR A TRUSTED FOLLOWER, if you're curious about the joke, I WILL dm you to explain if you ask)
but yeah. it's obvious that this is Disney's answer to The Loud House and The Casagrandes - that being said, all the vitriol towards this shows seems very unfounded. this show just seems very Chicano, moreso than other things I've seen.
and like, as I've explained here, this show is very, heavily relatable to me specifically. none of my white friends understood the pains of living with a bunch of your wild cousins - but multiple of my Chicana friends did. at different schools districts even.
it's just... a lot of the things people are shouting is "bad representation" is literally just... my life. And, apparently, the creator's life, considering it's based on her childhood.
I think it's nice that she made a show about Chicano culture. It does suck that apparently no one knows or even seem to want to know what Chicano culture is.
I just can't help but to wonder if I ever make something about my life, my lived experience... will people call me bad representation? idk.
anyway, I'll probably check the first few episodes out. I'm not sure I'll watch the whole series, since, lately, Disney's shows have been kinda a miss for me. but maybe I'll be surprised. I'm willing to give it a shot
#anyway i did NOT (and do not) wear flip flops. I wore sandals#bc it's SoCal and it's HOT and I always tripped while wearing flip flops lmao#primos#disney primos#dtva#disney#jazzy keeps blogging til the blog ends

also for the character ask meme: 7, 8 and 9 for jgy and su she (I would ask even more but am afraid that's too much....)
Not too much at all!
7. JGY is said to be like 5'7 or 5'8 and that seems fair to me. I know a lot of people want him to be shorter, and like, that's fine too I think, but I don't think he needs to be.
For Su She, I don't think he was ever given a canon height? I'm stuck between like, being slightly taller than JGY like he seems to be portrayed as. Like maybe 5'10-ish? Or like. Exactly the same height as the twin jades and people make comments about it despite it obviously being a coincidence please he's not copying Lan Wangji by being tall it just happened please come one, seriously? Because it would be funny.
Weight... Idk I'm pretty bad at weight ranges for like. Adults. I generally have to look up "what does someone at this height and weight look like" to visualize any of it. More than 100lbs. Probably less than like 200lbs? They're slender. Idk.
As for age... Oh, I don't think Su She has a canon birthday either, but WWX says he's the same age as him and Lan Zhan, so he's probably 15 in the Cloud Recesses Arc. JGY I feel is supposed to be the same age as Zixuan, born on the same day, but he might be a year younger? I think it would make sense if he went to Jin Zixuan's 15th birthday on his 14th birthday, but if Jin Zixuan is also supposed to be the same age as WWX (which he might not be, idk) then JGY would be younger than them, but NHS, who is also the same age if not older than WWX calls him "San-Ge" meaning he's older, right? Oh, well.
Headcanon-wise, ignoring all of that, I think JGY is slightly but not by much older, like maybe a year or two older than WWX and LWJ and therefore SMS. I think that's cute.
8. Unpopular opinion. Well, I think they might all be unpopular opinions, since they aren't the most popular characters, especially Su She... But! I'll keep it to like... 5 each.
Unpopular Opinions about JGY:
1. he didn't kill his kid, that's a more popular opinion in pro-JGY areas, but outside of that...
2. He was devastated to lose NMJ. His main driving factor in playing turmoil for NMJ wasn't because NMJ would kill him or because he insulted his mother, although they didn't help, NMJ was dying anyway whether JGY did anything or not. IMO his main factor in doing things the way he did was to gain back some semblance of control over something inevitable. Since the confrontation on the stairs, NMJ was already gone from him, replaced, taken over, lost. Devastating.
3. I don't think he actually did anything corrupt as Chief Cultivator. Some people talk like he was out there killing people who didn't agree with him and shit and like there's no evidence of that and if there was it would've come up, but like WWX himself says, if they're secrets how do you know? People are just making shit up about JGY once he's persona non grata and that's like. That's a pretty big thing that happens and idk why people are like "yeah that's true!" about so much of it.
4. I think he was also sad to kill Wen Ruohan! Maybe not so devastated as NMJ or even JGS (more for the loss of what JGS wasn't but still) but WRH took him in when those other two wouldn't and brought him up to a high position, taught him himself, appreciated and cared for him... I think JGY also appreciated and cared for WRH, even though he knew he had to kill him, and did. I think it was difficult, but I don't think any other decision was ever on the table either.
5. I think he was close af with Su She, emotionally and everything. I think if he was with anyone after Qin Su it was Su She. I think he wanted to be with someone who he trusted and who understood him and would choose to stand by him and keep him safe. I also think he thought Su She was cute af but that might be my own bias of thinking Su She is cute af.
WHICH means it's time for unpopular Su She opinions? 1. He's not copying Lan Wangji fr, he's from the Lan Sect, he uses the techniques that he was taught as a Lan, there's no reason he shouldn't. The Lans fumbled him, they should look inwards for their own absolution.
2. He didn't have to trick his sect members into the second siege, they just acted like that and WWX didn't think about it hard enough because he didn't care. Like in CQL Su She *doesn't* die for the Lans who just kinda left him there and that's seen as a betrayal. Like a horrible betrayal, like apparently worse than actually attacking and possibly killing other Lans yourself like LWJ does. But Su She having his disciples do something that could get them killed is tricking them, like the expectations are so different for characters that are seen as undeserving, but I don't think the Moling Su disciples see their Sect Leader as undeserving. A number of them apparently followed him out of the Lan Sect. If he's already worthy of that, then...
3. He's probably one of the most talented cultivators in the jianghu. Like, he uses up a lot of spiritual power on teleportation, so we don't really get to see him at full power. Plus his cultivation is permanently damaged from the Hundred Holes curse and not only can he still use the teleportation talismans and *then* nearly hold his own against Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji not at full power and with damaged cultivation, but he can still have enough power left to shatter a sword? Absurd, the only reason he isn't immortal is bad luck. Hua Cheng coded.
4. I think he was treated badly in the Lan Sect. From the way they talk to him and interact with him (and the way we see people like Lan Qiren interact with other students, ie. bringing in LWJ to humble them) it isn't just that he feels inadequate or inferior, it's that he's *made* to feel inadequate and inferior. Deliberately. Even though, if you look at his actual abilities and what he manages to do after leaving the Lan, he's actually incredibly talented. Now whether the elders did see him as a threat to the inner disciples, particularly the twin jades (seeing just his prowess, WWX thinks he could be LXC or LQR and even once mistakes him for LWJ) dominance and want to tamp him down for that, or it just doesn't even occur to them that some nobody outer disciple could be that talented so they just treat them all that way, I don't know. Either one is just as tragic in their own way tbh. (Also why it's frustrating to see defenses of Lan Qiren that don't even mention his relationship to Su She like...)
5. He's hot. He just is. He's cute too. Adorable. And he's not annoying or an asshole or anything like that either. He's not arrogant, he's resentful. I don't even know why people find him annoying he's literally so inoffensive (if you aren't trying to kill JGY). Like people portray him as someone who overestimates his own abilities and importance and like... No, like he has fuck ups when he's younger, but his reaction is like, a horrified shame at himself for even thinking he could do anything right and like... Uh, that's not arrogance!
9. Scene that first made me love JGY: like the first scene he showed up in CQL (which I watched first) and the disciples were gossiping about him and he was smiling while looking so sad and yeah.
Scene that first made me love SMS: sorry babe it was protecting JGY in Guanyin Temple. Maybe I didn't pay enough attention to him at first, but oh boy, I love him now.

Jee-Yuns' Playtime
Jee-Yun centric cause she needs love! She's adorable😭, also I'm basing her personality off Lily from Modern Family and the stories of her going to daycare/pre-school and meeting kids whilst getting into mischief. No coherent storyline, just funny tidbits I think would happen when she ultimately goes to school.
After Jee-Yun turned four, Maddie and Chim decided she was ready for preschool(Hen convinced them too). The first few days had been great. The teachers and caretakers were super helpful and reported that she was on her best behavior. Wouldn't fuss when told no and wouldn't throw a tantrum when naptime was supposed to happen.
Everything was great. Till it wasn't. Which, okay, Maddie and Chim were dramatic, but to be fair they didn't expect her to be an imp this early. At least in front of others.
"She what?"
"She put a kid in time out." Mrs.Niamh answered smiling humorously.
"How?/Why?" The Buckley-Han parents wondered. Smiling brighter, trying not to laugh, Mrs.Niamh replied.
"He tried putting glitter on the floor and she caught him. Walked opposite of the room, yanked the glitter bottle out of his hands, and said, 'You'll get it back when you stop trying to sparkle the room! Go in the book corner!'." Makes sense. Jee-Yun hated glitter. It offended her to the core. One time Maddie tried putting some glitter in her fair for a small party with the firehouse crew and Jee ran to the garden hose and sprayed the glitter out of her hair.
Other parents would be mad, obviously, but Maddie couldn't help but be impressed that she efficiently undid her tight hair and didn't get her clothes wet. Gotta recognize the tenacity I guess.
-------------------------------------------
"Mason was crying today."
"Oh no, how come?"
"Someone put sand in his hair." The dead tone in her voice was surprisingly enjoyable for the adults. Especially with something random or just outright sad. She was like Lily from Modern Family. Except, not a little bitch. No shade to her though, she's iconic.
"Awh, poor Mason. Did you help him get it out?" The silence was the only answer Maddie received. Raising a brow, Maddie turned slightly to her kid in the living room. Who was sitting on the floor drawing random things on the coffee table. "Jee?"
"I might have, been the one to put it in his hair." Not looking up but slowly coloring the mini poodle she drew. Pursing her lips, Maddie huffed through her nose trying not to break. She needed to set an example.
"Oh. Why?"
"He was in the way." Maddie has a few weaknesses. This was one of them.
-------------------------------------------
Dropping off Jee-Yun and Nia along with the boys at Athena and Bobby's was an idea. Whether it was a good idea was still up to debate between Chim and Buck. Anyway, Christmas was three weeks away and Athena liked to decorate early so they wouldn't stress about it later. So she got Harry, Christopher, Denny, and the girls to help out.
While the Denny worked on the garlands, Chris and Harry helped the girls put the ornaments on the lower part of the tree. Athena was working on the taller bits. Nia was being organized, moving some around if it didn't look proportional in her brain. Jee-Yun on the other hand couldn't care less for symmetry.
Looking down Athena laughed at the scene beneath her. Chris was handing Jee ornaments while she placed them where she wanted. And what she wanted was 9 ornaments on the same branch. Taking a quick picture, Athena sent it to the family group chat and was bombarded with 'awes'.
-------------------------------------------
During Spring the kids were able to go outside and enjoy nature in the backyard of their daycare. Jee-Yun was playing with ladybugs she found in the grass in the corner while the other kids were running around near the jungle gym and swings.
When she felt something hit her head, she rubbed the top of it and looked around. A branch had fallen from the tree in front of her. Looking up at it, Jee-Yun wondered what it would be like to be that high up. So she set out to find out.
Gripping the crevices of the tree as best she could she climbed up without letting any of her teachers notice. Once up to the top she looked around and saw the city buildings in the distance. Yawning, she realized she was tired and leaned backward on the tree closing her eyes. A small nap couldn't hurt, right?
It could be if your dad was a firefighter and your mom was a first responder. When the teacher noticed that the girl with purple shoes wasn't in her favorite corner of the classroom, she immediately informed someone. And that someone called 911. And the person who answered was May.
Who glanced over at Maddie enjoying her lunch peacefully. Yeah no, keep quiet for now till they get someone on it. And that they did, the 118 that is. Chim getting shot was less stressful than this. He was the one who convinced Maddie to leave his little girl at the daycare to relieve the stress on them and the team.
"Chim you gotta focus or you're staying near the truck," Bobby said firmly despite his worries building.
When arriving parents were already picking up their kids. Ignoring the children awing them, they walked over to the teacher who initially reported the missing girl.
"I only noticed till the last 30 minutes, how she slipped my view I don't know. She's always very outspoken!"
This was true. Jee-Yun was a force of nature that the world wasn't ready for.
"The last time I saw her was outside in the back near the jungle gym. I got distracted with other students." Chim didn't blame her, he didn't, but his dad mode was kicking up and he didn't want to be near her right now. Instead, he veered off with Ravi following him to look around the fence to ensure none of it was clipped or open.
As the others called out, Hen looked up at the rustle in the leaves. Getting directly underneath she looked up and saw little feet dangling.
"Jee!" She yelled out multiple times gathering the attention of her team.
"No sarang, ireona!" Chim yelled in Korean waking up the girl successfully. Rubbing her eyes, she looked down and saw her family beneath her.
"Hi, Daddy!"
Breathing out a sigh of relief, the team got the ladder and got her down.
"Wanna explain why you gave your teacher a heart attack by climbing a tree?"
"I wanted to know what it would be like to be a branch. And I was sleepy."
Laughing at her explanation, the teacher thanked them, farewelled the 2/3 Buckley-Han duo, and left. Putting Jee-Yun in the fire truck was a fun car ride back to the station.
When they told the story to Maddie back home, they all laughed while watching Turning Red. Chim couldn't help but compare the girl in overalls to his passionate and blunt daughter.

I was thinking about the characters aged-up a bit (because I feel it's necessary for a show it should also involve thinking how that would change your adaption, and some of the kids being a year or something older doesn't have to be a problem). Robb might not be engaged (boys can be older) but it would be way more marriage mart (Ned not facing Jon being the age Lyanna was). meanwhile Sansa being betrothed would be more expected talking about kids hitting certain points...
cont. re the kids being older: Ned's mental health crisis as his children start to hit Westros adulthood only prevented by the crisis that is AGOT
Yeah, I get aging them up, I think they just did it badly in the first show (and while I think they aged Alicent down too much, I like that they aged down/aged up her and Rhaenyra's kids - I think them being closer in age makes more sense thematically). I think Robb, Jon, Dany, Margaery, and Meera all being aged up to like 16 is old enough (just do like they did with Milly and Emily and cast like 17-20 year olds as the 16 year olds instead of people who clearly look like they're approaching 30. i mean hell, like half the cast of like, riverdale, was only about 19 when they started filming, it's a tried and true method of casting and if you do your job right, you can find a 19 year old who looks 16!). This way they're still teenagers but you don't have to worry about like, child labor laws when you're filming + you're hopefully not traumatizing anyone on set lol. But ALSO this way you don't have to age up Ned, Cat, Robert, Cersei, Tyrion, etc etc so severely either.
Sansa being like 13 (which is what she starts out as in the show before iirc they fudge her age specifically because they wanted Sansa to be raped by Ramsay, once again those dudes deserve to go in the contraption) I think makes sense as well, it's not too old that you wuldn't believe she's still relatively sheltered and naive. Same with Arya being 11, Bran being 9/10, those are all fine. I don't get aging Brienne up so severely either, like she's already of age, just cast a tall 20 year old? Theon as well, keep him near to Brienne's age, like roughly early 20s. I don't think the Thomas Brodie Sangster casting was bad tho, because he was plausibly playing adults literally until he started getting age lines on his face lakjdslkfj. But BACK TO SANSA lmao, I also think 13 is young enough that you can say she hasn't started puberty yet (some people are late bloomers!) while also pointing out that its weird Ned hasn't talked betrothals for her yet - because I do think we're supposed to find the lack of betrothals a weird Ned quirk tbh, I think that's part of our many "clues" that Ned is harboring some deep seated issues about Lyanna still, so the idea that Sansa is nearing Westerosi adulthood and hasn't even talked engagements isn't lost.
#asks#anons#but also this is why this should have been a castlevania/invincible style cartoon rather than a live action show#will die on this hill#also if you have a 17 year old as dany maybe they'll get creative with depicting drogo#but that could just be me coping lol

Hellooooo, dramas from this past month :) I had a lot of fun watching most of these, which hadn't been happening lately.
The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, 2023 (kdrama) 7.5/8
A woman from the past travels to the future where she meets a man who resembles her deceased husband. In need of a wife, he strikes a contract with her, and blah blah blah, you know what happens next.
The chemistry was there 100%, the comedy too, but overall, I think it was just a mid watch for me. I was three episodes away from finishing but was struggling big time because I was getting bored.
The Romance of Tiger and Rose, 2020 (cdrama) 8
A scriptwriter ends up inside her own creation as a side character who dies early on in the drama and has a really bad reputation.
This was hilarious. Laughing out loud alone type of hilarious. It didn't make any sense at all, and it was extremely silly and sometimes even frustrating, but both actors were so great with the comedy (Zhao Lusi the actress that you are), so everything was just fun and romantic and cute... and weird enough, emotional af as well. I love these types of dramas where, after watching, you kinda feel empty inside lol. Comfort drama material? 100%
My Demon, 2023/24 (kdrama) 8
A demon becomes powerless after crossing paths with a cold heiress (who he obviously knew in their, guess what? Yes, past lives)
Kim Yoo Jung and Song Kang (his character is everything) were so cute in this! Their chemistry was definitely chemistring. I loved the concept and all, but for some reason, I couldn’t put my whole heart into this drama, which resulted in me being a bit disappointed. I’d get bored sometimes. I still don’t know if it’s my problem though. Maybe it wasn't the right time to watch it since I had been watching so many dramas with similar storylines. I’ll give them this, though, these two were truly a comedic duo™️
My Man is Cupid, 2023/24 (kdrama) 8
A love fairy accidentally shoots himself with an arrow and ends up in love with a human, condemning him and his group of cupids to 500 years on Earth. In modern day, he gets entangled with a veterinarian who might be connected to what happened in the past. Also! Murder mystery.
This one just goes to prove that liking a drama is all about vibes for me. Is this different from what I’ve been watching? Nope. It’s not better than the other ones above with similar premises. Yet somehow, unlike the others, it got my attention way more, and I totally binged it. Even when this particular one had some very confusing, probably so-so writing, moments. Granted, it has Nana in it. Nana makes everything worth it (Jang Dong Yoon was cute as well lol).
My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, 2010 (kdrama) (rewatch!) 7.5 ⭐️
A cute gumiho saves an irresponsible rich kid who wants to become an action star by giving him her bead. Both of them gotta stick together while he heals.
Like I said back when I first saw this, COMFORT!! And I was in the mood for something silly and sweet after the same themes over and over again. I can't get over how cute Shin Min A and Lee Seung Gi are in this.
Falling Into You, 2022 (cdrama) 9
A student-athlete wants to do high jump but doesn't have the required height for the sport, so a postgraduate student-coach decides to take him under her wing and train him. Noona love story ensues.
So... I have a lot of mixed feelings about it because, all in all, I think this is one of the best cdramas I've watched. It's beautifully shot, the music is incredible, and the pacing, story, characters, and acting are all impeccable. Aside from Meet Yourself (fav ever) it's truly one of the most naturally acted cdramas I've seen so far as well. Even outside the romance part, everything was really good.
Now, was it inappropriate? For me, at least, I think it was. This young student is supposed to be 20, and his coach is said to be about to turn 28. They are both consenting adults (let's put it that way), but the power dynamics thing is still there. Overall, it was a nice surprise, and I completely binged it.
Welcome to Samdal-ri, 2023/24 (kdrama) 9
After a scandal, a famous photographer runs back to her hometown. Her ex, with whom she had an intense fallout (childhood friends to lovers), is there, and it seems like neither of them has moved on. (Also about family, and grief)
From the moment I saw Shin Hye Sun and Ji Chang Wook's pictures next to one another on a tweet saying they were going to be in a new drama together, I knew this was going to be a 10/10 in my books. Maximized joint slay. Add the hometown cha cha cha vibes, and you have an amazing tear-jerker drama. The rest of the cast is a great complement as well; their acting and their stories just make everything really emotional (I cried a lot lol), but it is 100% worth the watch. I'll be honest about one thing, though. As much as I loved it, it took me a while to finish the last two episodes cause I feel like they dragged the story a bit.
Princess Hours/Goong, 2006 (kdrama) 8
In a reimagined modern SK, a girl from an ordinary family gets hitched to the crown prince because of a promise both of their grandparents made in the past. A Diana x Charles x Camilla drama ensues (but like, with a happy ending).
This is what I like to call DRAMA™️. The type you hate everyone's behaviors, and you laugh, and you hate the ML, but you also want him to get with the FL, and you start hate watching, and then you giggle when they share moments and completely forget ML is a really shitty person lol. I started this cause I got sick, and I got way into it. ML being a major asshole and the FL having no self-respect (like the good old dramas and telenovelas) aside, I enjoyed binging this, and I can see why it was so popular. Their romance, though deeply flawed and a product of the time the drama was made, had some great moments, slow burn and natural as well. I was lowkey hoping for a happier ending, tho, but it was cute enough. Also, music bro, that main song is never getting out of my head. Comfort drama material: 100%
Playful Kiss, 2010 (kdrama) 5
FL confesses to ML, and he rejects her harshly. When her house collapses, her father moves them in with an old friend, who ends up being ML's father.
So after Goong, I thought I'd probably be able to watch this. Wrong. Shin's got nothing wrong in comparison so Seung Jo. Seung Jo is probably my most disliked ML ever lol. I binged this, hoping it'd get better, or just like Shin in Goong, he'd change a bit after getting together with FL. But nope, he remained an asshole throughout the whole thing. Gotta love that consistency. Comfort drama material: 1% (I saw the comments on Viki, and I don't know how people rewatched this, lol.)

a lil' headcanon of mine that I couldn't include in my last post...
Welp- At the same time this is a headcanon, this is also a lil' analysis of how the drawn StickFigures are pretty different compared to the StickCity StickFigures when u think about it...
Okayyy... Almost this whole thing is just me rambling about it.... So let's start-1!
Honestly.. I was thinking about the ColorGang's ages yesterday at night and- A thought suddenly crossed my head;
"What if the StickFigures that are drawn in art programs don't have ages?"
aand I know that sounds crazy but- bear with me
We all know that The Second Coming and the RYGB were never kids, right..? Like- They didn't come from a mother.. They never had a mother in the first place. Much less a father.
The Second Coming (and the other HollowHeads that Alan created) was drawn while the RYGB came from an site; They never were actually born, they were just created. (Does that make sense? lol)
And, even after many years have passed ever since their creation.. They still look the absolute same. Because drawings do not grow up like normal human beings would. They are drawings.
Unlike with Purple and Gold; They both were kids at some moment in their lifes. They both had a mother and a father. They both had lives the moment they were born.
While with the StickFigures.. They are simply drawings who came to life.
They never grew up, because there was nothing to grow up. They don't have ages, as they were never newborns to start a life-long.
They were never kids, teens, adults- Or anything like that. Once again, they are drawings.
This proves that; The drawn StickFigures are pretty different from the StickCity StickFigures, even though they are all StickFigures.
While the StickCity StickFigures did went through all the stages of life; ChildHood, TeenHood, AdultHood, then Old-AgeHood (idk what else to call it lol), the drawn StickFigures didn't.
They never had a life to begin with, they just came to life somehow. But in reality, they don't really have a life where they will go through old-age. The only thing that can make them disappear from existence itself is if all of their files are permanently deleted.
The only thing that can make them change is if the artist changes something in their design. Otherwise, they will remain the same.
They aren't younger nor older; They are drawings, and they are how old they are ever since their creation.
Nine(9) years have passed ever since Second's creation, which means that he's nine(9) years old, right? The Second Coming is a drawings that is now currently nine(9) years old.
Does that mean that Second is supposed to actually be a nine(9) years old? No.
Nine(9) is how old he is ever since he was created. Nine(9) years of him existing doesn't determine his actual age, but rather his age of creation and existence.
Thing is; None of the drawn StickFigures are actually meant to have ages. They can be a hundred years old but that still will change absolutely nothing. Because they are drawings, and drawings do not grow up or go through all the stages of life.
Maaaaanyyyyy years may have passed and they will still remain the same.
However; As much as drawings do not have an actual age, it is up to us (and the creator) to imagine them with ages if we wish for them to have ages.
It's like- An cartoon character, you know? A cartoon character is just a drawing that is animated in a way that it makes it seems like it's alive, when in reality it isn't.
A cartoon character will be how old it is ever since their creation, but it's also up to the creator of the character to determine how old the creator wishes the character to be.
Like- For example;
Rainbow Dash can just be eleven(11) years old ever since her creation, since she was created in 2003, but does that mean that she's actually eleven(11)? No.
The creator said that she's in her adult years, even though Rainbow Dash was created only eleven(11) years ago and, therefore, is eleven(11) years old.
So basically; A drawing do not have an determined age, so it is up for own interpretation.
So another basically; My headcanon is that the ColorGang (+ The HollowHeads sticks created by Alan) do not have ages, so they aren't actually kids, but they like to think they are around 9-13 years old, since being around 10-13 years old is how Alan views them, while being around 9-10 is how old they are ever since their creation.
So yea- That's my headcanon. And lil' analysis. Hope you didn't get too confused about it! ;')
Welp! I think that's it..? xD
Cya u all in my next post! <3

How old do you think each Link is during their first adventure?
Sky: Probably 17. It would make sense, considering how once a year they would have the wing ceremony, and only a select handful who seem to be around the same age are participating. (Then again it sort of raises the question on how the wing ceremony even works in the first place just like that post that was floating around earlier... huh.) it would also make sense considering how in Breath of the Wild 17 is the age of adulthood, so if the wing ceremony is for 17 year olds competing to become knights then that would be where that tradition comes from. Maybe lol
Four: Considering how he had to be young enough to see the minish, probably no older than 9 or 10. Maybe 8 at the youngest.
Time: I like to headcanon that he had just turned 10 right before his adventure. I know a lot of people like to think he's 9, but if he was 10 that would've made him 17 when he woke up; an actual legal "adult" in Hylian terms if they still have 17 being the age of adulthood in their society.
Legend: I like to think he was older, about 15, but I kind of agree with all of the other headcanons of him being younger. Idk; there's a kind of disconnect between the sprites and the official artwork of A Link to the Past that it is really hard to say, as his sprite makes him look like he was 10, but we'll just settle for the middle ground and say he was 12 or 13.
Hyrule: Canonically, he is 10 due to the sequel stating that he was 16 and it had been 6 years since the events of the first game, so...
Twilight: Definitely on the older side; probably late 17 or 18. Verging on 19, perhaps?
Wind: It did say canonically in the game that he was 12, right? (Wait, then that would've made Time 12 when he left Kokiri Forest? Idk; that kind of always bugged me whenever I watch wind waker lol; perhaps they were going for a middle ground between Time's young age and adult age)
Warriors: Again, kind of hard to tell, but he does seem to be around Twilight's age, perhaps slightly older. Probably early 20's.
Wild: 17, or I guess 117 by the time he wakes up lol. I like to think that it also took him a year to finish his adventure (due to what one yiga npc says outside of Kakariko village on the northern edge leading into the lanayru region; really odd place to put them there since that's really early game btw) but in context of LU I suppose he's still 117. Sad :(

Playing Turnabout Goodbyes, last part
"The second bullet was never found."
Ah-ah-ah. No, no, baby.
"Tsk, tsk" as Von Karma would say.
FEE-FEE has the second bullet. It's the FIRST one that's cleverly hidden in front of everyone.
"Sorry, Maya. I was wrong."
OMFG... are you back at being stupid, even in court??
"Maybe the bullet HIT the murderer?"
Yeaaaaaah!! Congrats for Fee-Fee who needed again the intervention of a dead woman to help him figure shit out! 🥳
"Hey Nick. Remember what Grossberg said about Von Karma and his vacation shit?"
Maya, Maya... did you just find the culprit again??
My God, YOU should be a defense attorney! YOU deserve that fucking badge! Take it and scream "OBJECTION! I am the defense now!"
"I know Von Karma. Perhaps too well." My baby 😭💔
and here comes the metal detector, gracefully lent by Daddy Gumshoe!
"Mister Von Karma, get NAKED bitch!"
omg, that loud BEEP must have frozen Edgey's heart and all of his blood vessels.💔💔💔
"Who wouldv'e thought you'd dig your own grave trying to convict Edgeworth?" = "You touch my senpai, I destroy you, bitch."😊 #yanderefeefee
What kind of reaction must one have when the man you literally saw as a father for 15 years proudly admits he is the one who killed your real father and screams that he'll "bury you"?
After he managed to convince you a few minutes earlier that you had murdered your own father?
Anyone would have burst in screaming tears.
"It's all just a good memory"??? Maya, the FUCK??? did you forget-?? Nevermind.
"Larry? What happened now?" My thoughts exactly!! X)
"Wright, there are $38 in that enveloppe." "Yeah, so?" Omffffg,
PHOENIIIIIIIX !!!!
"Edgeworth?" "Hmm?" "I love you, baby." *kiss* "I'll murder Larry and I'll come back."😘
"Where does that leave me? I've become a defense attorney because of what you two did!!"
Wrong! Stop blaming others for your whimsy, shitty decisions, Feenie. It's not their fault if you're a lonely, emotionally-dependent and obesessive psychopath.
Oh, and Edgey and Larry agree with me!
"If I had known, I'd become a prosecutor!" Hmm, an AU prosecutor Fee-Fee, hey?🤔
"Same for me, only the other way around..." No, no, baby.😢 Don't be sad. "If I had known the truth, maybe I might have become a defense attorney." My baby!!😭😭😭
Feenie, hug him!! WTF are you waiting for??
And stop that fucking happy tune when my baby is obviously miserable inside!!!!
"Want to switch, Wright?"
Yes!! YES!!! Follow your dreams, baby!! 😭
Aaah?? Fee-Fee didn't answer!!!! 👀👀👀
Wai-wai-wait!! So while everyone was partying and drinking their ass off, Miles was still in detention? All alone?? More than likely crying and being sad and crushed inside??
"I couldn't help you. I was useless."
Shut up, Maya! THAT'S NOT TRUE!! You helped and you nailed it more than Phoenix!!
Yeah, not just with the bullet, Feenie. SHE also suggested out of the blue Von Karma might be the murderer while you had no clue he might be!
*gasp*?? Edgey got a hug from Daddy Gumshoe?😭 (at least, I fucking hope so! that's the least he needs!!!)
Huh? No trial for two months??
WTF did you do during that whole time, Phoenix? And just how did you pay your rents? Yeah, rentS, I suppose the Wright & Co offices aren't free to use!
*gasp*! I hope for your ass you spent them visiting and comforting your boyfriend! (in exchange for the paying of your rents, maybe? like you wanted?)
Also, when 9 years-old Miles felt unconscious, the two adults with him felt unsconcious too? Like, all the three of them, at the same time??
Either baby Miles had a prodigious endurance or the two adults with him were exceptionnally weak-bodied.
Or Takumi didn't think about sth basic as that so that Gregory's murder happens easily and smoothly. Cause bitch, HOW the fuck Yogi couldn't have recognized Von Karma then and why wouldn't have Gregory tried to defend himself? And HOW couldn't they have heard Von Karma screaming?
I've just realized that whole story of Greg's murder doesn't make any sense from the begining!
