LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! the path that mc youtube and youtubers are heading towards. The use of minecraft as a medium to tell a story is something that has existed for a while in the mc space, but skyrocketed in 2020 with the dsmp, and has been (in my opinion) perfected/improved greatly as the time has gone by.

White pine is a great example, with the graphics, the voice acting, the music, etc. Had it not been through minecraft, I fully believe cc Ivory would've made it to professionally directing the story in real life. I am SO excited to see where she takes the story! Definitely watch if you haven't!

Parkour civilization is -funnily enough- another good example imo. It doesn't take itself as serious as white pine, but it's purpose is definitely to tell a story/to send a message, using minecraft as a medium. And I think the whole 'youtuber voice' and 'cliché storytelling' is more easily understandable to the younger audience surely watching.
