Unnatural - DBAPM
Whatever was happening to him was wrong in so many ways he couldn't explain it except that it was completely and utterly unnatural. He had no memory of the nights before and found himself entirely somewhere else.
Naked.
Alone.
Lionel stared down at his hands, a sense of uneasiness filling a void he hadn't been aware of. He knows these are his hands and, yet, they were the hands of a stranger he once knew.
"What is happening to me ?" he quietly questioned, his ears pulling back as they picked up the sound of his son approaching his office doors.

Untidy - DBAPM
The housemaid lifted the pair of trousers from the bedroom floor with a questioning look. She has known Mister Luthor for many years and knew the man was immaculate when it came to his bedroom. His clothing usually was in the hamper.
To find it haphazardly all over the floor with furniture overturned was unusual even for him. Especially when he hadn't anyone over the night before.
"Is there a problem?" her employer questioned the moment he entered. She turned and raised an eyebrow at what he was wearing.
A hoodie and sweats. Clothing she expected his son to wear.

Wilderness - DBAPM
Bird song is what woke him before the chill of the autumn wind brushed against his bare skin. Warily, Lionel opened his eyes and stared up at the thick canopy of trees. The sun's rays breached through a patch, bathing him in warmth and light.
He was confused as to how he got where he was and worried as to where exactly that is. He looked around and noted the density of the forest and the rotting foliage that covered him like a blanket.
Lionel listened.
The birds had fallen silent but he could hear the running of water nearby.

Smell - Dancing Beneath a Pale Moon
"Here you are," he heard Martha set down papers in front of him to sign. A part of him wanted to whine at having to sign more papers just to see what she would say or do, but he quickly kicked that thought to the curb and doubled down on remaining professional.
Something caught his attention and he found himself leaning closer to her, a scent he hadn't noticed before until now had reached his senses. Considering how strong it was, he wondered if his other senses were getting stronger the longer he remained blind.
"Lionel?"
So much for professionalism.

Shallow - Dancing Beneath a Pale Moon
The scratch on his cheek was superficial, but it—like most head wounds—bled and left a trail of blood down into his beard and shirt collar. He was more angry that another expensive shirt had been ruined than he was at being hurt.
"She's dead," he heard Martha's son enter, his tone upset.
"The wolf?" He wasn't sure who the boy was referring to.
"Kyla Willowbrook."
He was confused as to how the chieftain's granddaughter had anything to do with tonight's assault, unless she released the wolf. "Good then."
"How can you be so shallow?"
"Clearly she was dangerous."

Dancing Beneath a Pale Moon
Eat
Lex observed his father as the man ate the steak dinner that had been served to them tonight. He could see the old man focus on what he was doing, more meticulous in how he cut into the wagyu and brought it to his mouth before eating it. It was as if his father was trying to keep control of himself instead of allowing himself to devour the steak like some ravenous animal.
"Dad?"
His father's eyes flashed with a hunger that left him unsettled. "Yes?"
"Are you alright?" he asked.
Lionel gave him a wolfish smile, "I'm fine, son."

If Martha knew that the reason Apex Groups went under is because of her, she probably would have stopped talking to Lionel.
So like, Lionel was using a third party to take LuthorCorp from Lex. Lex finds out what his father was trying to do and blackmails him into pulling out. The blackmail?
Telling Martha that Lionel was there the night Jonathan had died.
Old Lionel wouldn’t have cared, but Lex knew that this “reformed” version of his father was in love with Martha Kent and she would stop talking to him if she found out through anyone else that Lionel was or had a part in her husband’s death.
That’s why it was so important later on that Lionel confesses his part to her himself. He couldn’t keep it from her any longer both for his own sake but also for her as well. It hurt them both, but in the end Martha understood that he hadn’t intended for Jonathan to die and that Jonathan hated Lionel.
She ended up forgiving both of them.
But had she known that Lincoln Cole only existed because of Lionel’s selfishness, not just him wanting LuthorCorp back and to teach Lex a lesson, but because of his desire for her, she might not have forgiven him as easily.

End
The yellow sun was dying and it wouldn't be long before it consumed this world and what passed as graves for his loved ones.
They originally hadn't been buried together, his first arch-nemesis wouldn't allow it. But like everyone else, he was long dead and had no say in how he honored those he cared about.
Superman hovered above the marker of Martha Kent Luthor, Lionel and Jonathan flanking either side of her. Their children and his children were there as well, including Lex who didn't deserve being remembered but Clark still loved him.
This would be his last visit.

Beginning
Martha held Jonathan in her arms, a bottle in his little hands while she listened to Lionel talk about Lex. She was listening, but her mind drifted to the last time the young man had run for a political seat. She knew before he even said it, what was coming.
"You should run," Lionel dropped and she met his hazel-green gaze with a look that told him he had to be joking. "I'm serious. You would make an excellent president and something this country needs."
"Against your son."
"I know what you're thinking," he tries to argue. "He's not ready."

Slow
Martha stepped into the study, noticing how dim it was. The source came from several candelabras and the fireplace, and standing over by the sound system was her husband.
He had just set the needle down on the record player, a slow waltz beginning to play. "You're just in time," Lionel greeted with a lopsided grin, the kind he always got when she entered the room or he saw her for the first time in the morning.
It told her how madly in love he was.
He held out a hand, inviting her to join him in a slow dance.

Fast
"Race you," Jon challenged his half-brother and their speedster friend, Impulse. The three boys grinned at each other as they stood outside of the farmhouse.
"Prepare to eat Speed Force dust," Bart replied and then before either of them could blink, he was gone in a flash. The only sign he had been there were burn marks in the grass and the crackle of lightning.
"Hey!" Conner protested and then he was gone, leaving Jon alone coughing up dust. He didn't waste any more time and raced after the other two.
And easily caught up to them. "Slowpokes!"
"Its on!"

The Luthors are Drama Queens When It Comes to Dying
You know, most CEOs are fat. They have that beer gut going and their decadence shows.
But not Lionel Luthor (or Lex).
He’s slim as fuck and nicely muscled for a man of his age and position. This man saw his rivals and was like “No. Not doing that.” and made sure he was healthy. He was a man determined to live forever.
Then that liver disease was a rude awakening for him.
No wonder he did half the shit that he did to try and live. Most other people, even CEOs, would have accepted their fate and died peacefully.
Nope. Not Lionel.
He was determined to live forever and no pesky liver disease was going to get in his way.
Lex was the same way when he found out he had terminal cancer.
Its a Luthor thing to die dramatically.
Lachlan and Eliza? Burned to death in their home.
Lionel? Pushed out of a window.
Lex? Saving the world.
Conner? Murdered.

Something something Lionel declaring he's going to take over the world and wants Martha as Queen
They lay quietly in the hotel bed, Martha was snuggled up against the man that was both a lover, partner and her employer. His muscled arm was draped over her side as the bedding rested tangled around their legs and hips. Lionel was lazily and softly nuzzling the back of her neck and breathing in the scent of her, content to enjoy the peace and quiet of having had sex.
A soft, content sigh escaped Martha and she felt her lover shift at her back. Long fingers reached over to pull back sweat-soaked, red strands of hair from her face and neck so he could plant a kiss at the nape. “What are you thinking?” he purred against her ear, lips leaving a trail of sensual kisses along her jawline.
Martha visibly shuddered at the attention, the sensation pleasant with each press of his lips. “Wouldn’t you like to know,” she answered with a curve of a smile at the corner of her lips. She turned a little to look up at him and saw a softness in his eyes that she’s only seen him direct toward her. For everyone else, his gaze was predatory and cold, almost akin to a lion sizing up its prey before the strike that would lead to his rivals being devoured by the pride that was LuthorCorp.
But with her? He rarely ever looked at her like that and even when he did, it was accompanied with a desire to have her. To see him look upon her with a kinder gaze, one full of concern was a reminder that he saw her differently from others. She never fully understood what it was about her that drew him to her like a moth to a flame—and she doubted she ever will—but she could not deny enjoying his attentions.
Even if it was considered taboo for an employer to have sexual relations with an employee. It didn’t matter that she was a paid student intern either. All things considered, it was probably even worse that she was.
”I would,” he finally said, fingers now tracing her jaw until they found her chin and he drew her closer for a kiss. It was tender and sweet, and a little possessive, almost like he couldn’t get enough and wanted more but refused to allow his hunger to control him.
Martha gave him a fond smile and pecked his lips lightly after they withdrew for a moment. He returned her smile with a lopsided grin, clearly pleased that he had an affect on her. She reached up to touch his lips and he kissed the fingertips before taking one finger into his mouth to sultrily suckle on it.
“I’m thinking that I’m very happy right now… and I’m hoping I can stay that way when we go back to the real world.” The real world. A place that would shun them both if it was discovered they were in a sexual relationship with each other. He could weather any scandal that was thrown at him and his stocks would recover in time, but her?
She would suffer the most if it came to light. Her grades would come under scrutiny as people questioned as to whether he had influenced her education. Her position at LuthorCorp would also come under fire by those who coveted it. These things and more had been her concerns when Lionel first proposed they explore that something that had been between them.
It wasn’t an affair even though they were keeping it secret. An affair implied that it was just about the sex and having a good time. An affair would have been public. This… she wasn’t sure what it was exactly if she had to put a name to it, but it was something and she didn’t want to put an end to it.
Martha liked the way Lionel made her feel. Growing up in a household where she was expected to follow in her father’s footsteps and do as he said, it had always felt wrong to her. She knew she could do so much more if someone would let her be herself. Lionel did for the most part. He encouraged her and listened to what she had to say. Sometimes he flat out disagreed and had no qualms in telling her no, but for the most part he was on the same page as her.
She just wanted to show that to the rest of the world too. She was certain he wanted the same thing, but while she was in college he was being patient. “I’m so tired of letting everything else control our lives…”
“I know… but it’s all going to be different, Martha. It’s going to change.”
“How do you know?”
“Because I’m going to change it.”

Sounds about right
Lionel: *spends years trying to turn his son into a supervillan*
Lionel: *falls in love with Martha and decides to try to be a good person now* People can change! : ) Hey, Lex, what if we tried to rebuild things?
Lex: *26 years of trauma, 10 concussions, 2 divorces was electrocuted and had a psychotic break* *full supervillain mode* Dad, you were right. People can't change and Luthors were born to take whatever we want! I'm going to kill you and rule the world.
Lionel: Oh fuck. If it isn't the consequences of my actions.

Feminine
Lionel looked upon Martha with the same awe he had for her the first time he had seen her dressed up. Although she wasn't in that particular red dress, the one she wore would have her stand out if she wasn't already the President. "You look beautiful," he said reverently.
"Do I?" Martha looked herself over in the mirror. The dress certainly highlighted the best parts about herself and made her more self conscious. Lionel approached behind her; wrapping his arms around her waist.
He leaned in and nuzzled her neck, "You will always be beautiful to me."
She smiled.

Masculine
She rose with the rhythm of his hips. She threw back her hair and smiled down at Lionel before bringing her lips to his. He tasted of the brandy he liked, eager and passionate but also delicate in the way he kissed her back.
Martha rose with him as he sat up and wrapped his arms around her, his thrusts slowing to a languid and delightfully pleasant pace. She buried her head against his neck and breathed in his scent that reminded her of the woods near the farm.
It was masculine, but it was also so very much Lionel.
