Made it home safely from another successful tickle gathering~!🪶 This weekend was SO MUCH FUN, I felt like I deepened a lot of connections I’ve made previously, had a really good heart-to-heart with a good friend, and felt some parts of myself heal. I heard some things I really needed to hear. I already know drop is gonna suck..

I'm excited we're getting more magic kaito but I also have this suspicion things are going to be introduced that I'm just going to. ignore. But also maybe not! Who knows!

#I'm super excited for more Aoko #I'm actually kind of disappointed that her mom was introduced?#like this is in part because I like my headcanon that her mom passed away when she was little #but it's also because it feels like her mom is an au version of Eri #kind of like how despite different personality aoko appears to be a copy of Ran too #they used to look a lot different from each other #but now there's loads of points where I see a pic of aoko and without context I'd think it's Ran #including some of the ones I'm seeing from teasers about the new chapter #basically it feels like gosho is doing a lot of recycling of detective conan stuff to pad out magic kaito #but maybe i'm jumping the gun here #nefrit talk #anyway the double edged sword of me enjoying this series is that #it's how I dislike so many of gosho's choices that motivates me to do so much of my fanwork and speculation that i do #and therefore each update i'm braced because I'm excited for the content but also I know theres going to be things where i'm like #anyway let's just forget he even did that. (or twist it out of context to suit my preference for the story)#such is the joy of fanwork

so I’m realising my intense anxiety for Hilda’s third season to come out is PROBABLY an autism thing

#like. it’s been 2 years of it being the same #the fandoms been in the same place and the show has too #and now it’s gonna change and it is giving me so much anxiety #when the special interest is so intense that you feel physically ill at the thought of new content because it’s just so overwhelming #<- that’s not my usual exaggerated ‘I’m so unwell’ thing either like I have layed awake at night feeling #sick LMAO #bc of s3 #which is so frustrating because I’m excited! I love this show! They could have even been like we wanna make new exciting content that we don’t think will work on YouTube and put that on a ‘streaming service’ whilst keeping the YouTube style stuff on YouTube

#(and a re make of a show from 5? years ago that was on a different YouTube channel isn’t new too high brow for YouTube content… like it’s go #od they could have kept that as the 2nd or 3rd new show on the service but they needed to HARD re brand for that special expense content #if they wanted it to seem more expensive then YouTube #they needed to pre film a catalog (even a small one) of very different content that is recognisably tv style content #watcher #like wanna make a documentary style/length show yeah that seems streaming service #(it would still need to be free to those who paid already for their other subscriptions #)#but it could have worked #hey guys we’re making new exciting projects they’re a little longer length and pricy so they’re just for Patreon members but we’ll still mak #e free let’s plays and read stories we found for free off the internet
