I know I talk a lot about this but I will never get over that upon introduction erza seems so fucking cool. Like she comes in here with this massive ass horn and immediately gives you the impression that when it comes to guild work she knows exactly what she's doing. It's true, she is an experienced fighter and an excellent leader, those are two skills she has. However, as time goes on you realize that those are, in fact, the only skills she has. while she might be insanely good at those 2 things if you make her do LITERALLY anything else she will probably suck ass at it and I think that is the funniest direction mashima could have possibly taken her character
