A literate roleplay

In the wilds of Alaska lies a glacial valley divided between two warring Clans. Haunted by a history of bloodshed, tyranny, and endless war.

Following a 12 moon timeskip, new leaders emerge in the Clans. Following Shiverstar’s death, his deputy, Houndslash, is on the path to lead RiftClan and hopefully work towards peace between the Clans, while in RidgeClan, the once community focused Clan is left even more divided when both their contentious leader and well-liked deputy die suddenly in a rockfall. Left with only their newly appointed healer, Snowgale, to guide them, some warriors are vying for power hoping to win their Clanmates’ and StarClan’s approval.

Tension is higher than ever, and the cats of these Clans must rush to discover the truth behind the conflict or face destruction at the claws of the other.

☀️RidgeClan, cats of the golden cliffs, who admire the jump and never fear the fall. A Clan that once valued community above all, has become a shamble of its former self, left divided ever since their previous leader, Soaringstar, made the controversial decision to crush RiftClan under an avalanche and exile the RidgeClan cats who warned them, with two RidgeClan cats left dead in the process. This group lives high up in the mountains, traversing rocky cliffs, glaciers, and grassy foothills to hunt.

❄️RiftClan, dwellers of the deep and stalkers of the dark. Previously recovering from the bloody and tyrannical rule of Slatestar, these cats lost many friends in an avalanche caused by RidgeClan, and now with Shiverstar passing on as well, some have grown weary of the war. These cats live in a small cave system and hunt in the pine forests of the southern part of the region.

Why do we do auditions?

Auditions ensure the quality of writing and characters in the roleplay. You can re-audition every wave as many times as you want or need. If you don't get in on your first try, you can always ask the mods what they think should be improved to get a higher rating next audition.

Audition waves encourage activity both in the roleplay and in the community. It's a great time for members and spectators to build relationships, between each other and their characters. Many of our members love helping spectators with building characters and navigating the audition process, and our staff is always available for questions if you need. As a spectator, you’ll have plenty of time to prepare your character for the next wave and make friends in the process!

Five truths for all three!

Blizzardstorm

Blizzardstorm loves her Kingdom, she would do anything for it, but she knew that Thundergrowth’s love for her was conditional. When she had only been five moons old, her father, Shreddedear, the Attendant of Heatherwing came for her and her sister. And Thundergrowth let him take him, not wanting anything to do with the half breeds. Split Kit deals were ok and encouraged to keep the blood fresh, but kits from the love of two Felis from different kingdoms were wrong and hated. She knew the only reason Thundergrowth came for her was because Goosefeather order it…because she was to be the next Bishop. They dod not care for her… they did not care for Snow… and they did not care for her mother, Loonflower

Blizzardstorm hated her father, she wanted nothing to do with him even when he had tried after Bishop Heatherwing had exiled him to Thundergrowth to be the “father” he wanted to be. She hated him more when he got with Harpyshine, the former drifter who joined moons before she was born. She hated that he had moved on from Loonflower so quickly, when she died because of him. She was not saddened at all when he pass during the Great Second Hunger, before his and Harpyshine’s litter second litter was born

Blizzardstorm’s relationship with her sister, Snowgale was strained after their mother’s death and even more strained when Snowgale began to talk with Thistleclaw of Riverglade. She thought the tom was a bad influence on her littermate, making her hate herself for being halfkingdom and making her more blood thirsty. She hated Thistleclaw when the other encourage Snowgale to leave Thundergrowth and become fully River, in an attempt to cut ties of her bad blood. She hated him when this cause her sister’s death during a battle for Sunningrocks, her sister crushed underneath rubble just when she just had her son Bristle.

Blizzardstorm loved her children, Rosette, Duck, Primrose but she knew it was not in Lady Nocta’s plans for her to have children. She knew that her children were not safe… not with the dreams of blood and the taste of it when she woke. But she knew for their safety she could not raise them… at least not all of them. She mourns for Duck and Primrose but she knew that they were in a safer place she hope that she made the right decision

She is very much bisexual.

Haddockbounce

He did not get his broken jaw from being chase by Goosefeather. Instead he had slipped on some rocks in the Wallow Pool where the kits of the River learn to swim. His mother, Rainflower had tried to get him rename into Crooked but the Bishop at the time Brambleberry didn’t allow for it and this had her declare unfit as a mother and had her rights over Sweet and Haddock away. Patchshell also divorce her.

Haddock still left Riverglade for a bit, Rainflower while no longer his mother, still spit vile things at the poor kit blaming him for splitting their family apart. He found himself at the Outpost, and soon found himself under the care of Ignis and his sister, Uetus who just had her kits. While there he met many Felis and other creatures who were traveling through Gatali. There he learn to be proud of himself, and not what others say bother him. When he left, Ignis followed him.

When he returned, he was welcome with amazement and happiness, and soon found himself apprenticed under none other than Bishop Brambleberry, much to the displeasure of Thistleclaw who has been trying to convince the Bishop that he was her heir, for he too spoke to the Wraiths. But Bishop Brambleberry had told him that the spirits that he talk to had no good intentions for him and that he need to stop speaking to them. To this day, Haddockbounce does not believe he listen to her.

He got the suffix bounce for how no matter how many times he has fallen, stumbled or push down he always seem to get back onto his paws with a smile on his face.

No one questioned him when he brought Stone and Moss into the camp, no one question him on who their mother was. There was no doubt that they were his children, with his markings on their pelt. While whispers come and go, no one spoke ill of them in front of him or the two, knowing they would only get glares. But whispers are still spoken, at the blue in their pelt

Rosetteanthem

She was the weakest of her litter, and was thought to not survive and yet she did, growing bigger and bigger each day. It is thought that Lady Solta had bless her with not only her markings but her strength

She doesn’t remember much of her littermates, she had been young when a fox had supposedly been brave enough to sneak in and snatch them up. And yet, she sometimes questions why the fox didn’t get her as well, with her being the weakest at the time.

For as long as she remembers, Rosetteanthem had dreams of blood, of some threat that was to come. That she was to prevent it… and yet Goosefeather didn’t give her to her mother to train… instead he gave her to Harpyshine… her mother when she took over, did not take up her training. The path to the Bishop was close to her, but she keeps an eye on the kits, any of who can be the next Bishop… she hopes that she can prove to be an helpful advisor, to one day be an Attendant

Rosetteanthem doesn’t have many friends. She has mostly followers, Darkstripe who wanted to anger his father Goosefeather stayed by her side, Daffodilfang soon follow wanted to be close to Darkstripe…. The one she really can’t count as her friend is Lavendernose, who always try to make it her goal to smile

She is terrified of water, having almost been drown in the river. She swears to this day that some Felis had pulled her into the river and had push her under. And she makes sure to stay far from it anytime she patrols the border between them and Riverglade

Okay, this isn't strictly about a fic, but there are fics about it...there's a work of fan art where Harry is trying to remove the dark mark from Draco's arm with his wand. It's really gorgeous. Draco is wearing a waistcoat. Erm, that's all I can remember. I remember reading a fic based on that, so if you can only find the fic and not the art, that's fine!

hi i’m anna from frozen i feel like maybe this is a common one but can i have a rate perhaps?

We actually haven’t gotten many Anna ratings! Maybe just one other in the past? Anyhow we literally just sat down and watched all of Frozen for research, specifically in order to give a truthful and accurate response to this. So.

Anna is one of the most valid characters in the whole movie tbh. She and Elsa and Kristoff were all Very Good and I support them all but I especially support Anna.
