Oh, how the clock seemed to stop ticking the moment Max laid his eyes on Charles on the podium, bathed by the sun as the tifosi cheered for their glorious Monza race winner once again. The scene blinded Max in an unforgettable way, his eyes craving and processing every single small detail; his dimples showing off to the world when he's all smiley or when he's standing at the top of the podium with a relieved posture, like he'd finally fulfilled his duties for the very same team he's given everything up for. He felt dissatisfied with his 6th place result that he wasn't on the podium to see Charles up close in his full glory.

But then, as always, the clock started ticking again and Max's time of appreciating Charles' beauty came to an end.

but this clown looks and feels............dangerous, insane, terrifying, sadistic.......evil. "IT'S HIM OR ME! You Have to Decide!......Him or ME! Decide!"

.............................another boy strapped down, struggling to get out..... chemicals, lab tools, pills, cigarettes, and other various stuff that she cannot or does not want to even think about how they are used on his poor defenseless boy....................it the clown..pushes the lever............... electricity running wild.................the boy screaming........................laughter.....she felt insanity. Still, she was more concerned about the pain, fear, and hopelessness. The boy is on his knees, laughing before crying............................

it's the young boy again, but much older........................ lasers come out of the creature's eyes............. zig-zagging....................... He steps in its path....................protecting another individual..................it hits him................extreme pain! being burned alive..............he yells out in pain..........................

AAAAAaaaaaahhhhhAAAaahhhhhhh!!! She screams out in agony, watery eyes widen (glowing white), and she is shaking, hands out in front of her, glowing.

Someone is running behind her, by her side, calling and yelling her name. But to her, it's like she's underwater, unable to hear a sound. It sounds like not one but many other voices calling out to her.

...Chiara...

..Chiara.

Chiara...

Chiara?

The voices are getting louder.

Chiara!

I don’t know how I feel about the songs in HH, they’re catchy and the vocal performances are good, but the lyrics are really bad and don’t move the story forward, happy day in hell just starts out of nowhere and doesn’t tell us anything new about Charlie’s dream that she hasn’t said over and over in first 10 minutes. Charlie repeats herself so many times in the first episode it’s like she’s a broken record. We’re introduced to the world building and town in hell but the problem is the storybook already told us about hell. If they wanted to make Lilith a powerful presence there should’ve been missing posters or statues of Lilith if she’s was the one to rule hell and empower it with song or even news outlets about Lilith but there isn’t. Also none of these locations ever come up or is important to the story, Charlie forgets about cannibal town and she has to be reminded what it is. The princess of hell whose been living thousands of years doesn’t know about cannibal town?

I was rewatching South Park big and longer the song Mountain Town immediately gives us synopsis of the story and what’s gonna transpire, with the boys getting ready to watch a movie with the moms singing about how South Park is so great because it’s isolated and redneck from city life that their boys are “safe” and innocent while the boys sing how their parents don’t teach them anything and singing merrily how crappy South Park is and the highlight of their life is watching Terrance and Philip. Cartman gets punished and installed a chip that shocks him if he curses for singing Kyle’s mom is a bitch and as a result of the song the towns plans on installing chips in all the kids. you can be a fan of Broadway and musicals but they doesn’t make you an expert on songwriting or storytelling especially if all your doing is just making animatic mv thumbnail for the songs

The idea of how musicals work is one I realized I had to tackle in my essay(s) around the music, and needing to build the concept of how and why musicals have such a distinct formula was necessary for any of my points to land.

It's doubly hard when you are writing out these ideas rather than explaining with examples that people can hear or see right in front of them. Being a written medium, I can't suddenly cut away to a sound, or an example. Being a tumblr blog, I am limited in the amount of media I can use per post.

So I can only hope that my attempt at explaining why musicals are comprehensible to those who lack a robust understanding of musical theory or opera.

Maybe… he should just run.

The thought flickered like a rogue spark in dry brush, quick and wild. But it wasn’t like I could voice it now. Not with him locked in that predator’s orbit, his steps slow, precise, eyes sharp as flint. I could only watch from within the stone, breath tight in my minds chest as Monkey Boy completed his circle around the shadow.

That was when it moved.

No warning. No flourish. Just raw, brutal instinct. The shadow lunged, its right arm a slab of darkness cutting down with the weight of a falling mountain.

Monkey Boy spun left—not away, but in. He twisted at the waist, his momentum sharp as a blade’s edge, slipping just past the swing. His dodge wasn’t clean—it never was. It was raw, reactive, dangerous, but it worked. In the space of a single breath, he shifted from target to hunter.

His staff came up when he was at the shadows side. Fast. Relentless.

A sharp, clean arc cut the air, the force of it carrying all his strength behind it. The end of the staff soared like a scythe made of raw strength and iron—

And cleaved straight through the shadow.

For one breathless moment, stillness hung in the air. The kind that happens right before something worse happens.

Monkey Boy’s eyes went wide. Not with triumph. Not with shock. With realization.

The darkness unraveled at the point of impact, its form fraying like thread snapped from a loom—only to pull itself back together in an instant. Fluid. Effortless. The shadow reformed as if it had never been struck, the same arm that should’ve been destroyed now lashing out like a whip.

Monkey Boy barely managed to throw himself back as it swatted at him, the air behind it hissing with the speed of its swing. The sound hit like a crack of thunder right beside his ear, sharp and violent.

I could see it now—the shape of this fight.

It wasn’t going to be won with brute force.

Not when the enemy could wear death like a second skin and slip free of it whenever it pleased.
