Lucius organizes a LOT of different art projects for the tiny ones on board. Sometimes they're just for fun, but other times they're to help little ones get a better idea of what they’re feeling! Being small can be overwhelming, and it helps to pause and think about what they're feeling.

So Lucius asks the regressors to draw how they feel when they're regressed!

(I'm focusing on Ed and Stede here, but if anyone wants to add what they think the others would draw, please do!)

Ed takes the prompt pretty literally.

He feels like himself, but smaller! Of course, the emotional side of things is much more complicated, but this is how he chooses to interpret it. It definitely still gives a look into how he thinks when he's small, based on the fact that he chooses to answer the prompt this way.

Stede, instead, focuses on how being regressed makes him feel emotionally.

It's definitely a teensy bit worrying for any cgs around, but it's a very helpful look into how he feels, something he's not always the most keen on sharing. Lucius decides to help him with some further art therapy when he's regressed, as he definitely has an easier time expressing himself and getting his feelings out that way!

Integra Stede, Alucard Ed, and Walter Izzy.....

Only roughly based on the plot of Hellsing, Izzy is only a bit older than Stede and was assigned to him when they were young by Stede's family/Hellsing organization specifically to keep an eye Stede to make sure he didn't try anything funny and get in the way of their plans.

Stede is fake figurehead of the family and when not being used, he is essentially shoved to the side and left to his own devices, which is mostly just esoteric research into cryptids and mythical creatures.

Izzy didn't care for Stede at first, viewing the assignment as an annoying job, but after spending time with him as his butler/bodyguard, he finds him to be far kinder and wonderful than expected. Stede treats Izzy like a friend instead of a tool, and Izzy only grows to care for Stede more and more over time.

Stede doesn't stumble upon Ed until he's in his late 20s or early 30s. He's had many years to settle in his ways that the sudden introduction of being the master of a legendary vampire is not something he takes to very gracefully. Ed doesn't mind though, he enjoys how strange but human Stede is.

Ed has lived a very long time, and though he doesn't regret his life as a vampire, he cannot help but long for his lost humanity. He tempts Stede with offers of being turned but Stede turns him down, his reasoning being that there are too many human comforts he would just hate to lose. The answer is hysterical to Ed and makes him immediately like Stede.

I think if Ed called Stede cute or, god willing, adorable, it would baby brain him instantly. his whole body halts whatever he was doing and everything immediately goes fuzzy.

one hundred percent he uses fancy rollers in all different sizes, has special clips to pin them in instead of the bobby pins Ed's mum used to use, has special rubber pipe cleaner things he uses for tighter curls, and special leave in conditioners and a silk bonnet to go over it all at the end.

When he wakes up he brushes it all out carefully and then refines it with his special Dyson hairdryer with all the special attachments.

Ed sort of hates when Stede asks (he loves doing anything that Stede asks him to, especially when he's small and it's extra hard to be vulnerable) because he knows he's going to pull on Stede's hair by accident and have to see the little face he makes when he doesn't want Ed to know it's hurting him.

But when he gets to wipe off all the extra conditioner he accidentally got on Stede's ears and forehead and gently put on his little bonnet, his little smile is all worth it.

After a while Ed gets a lot better at it, and soon Stede doesn't make any pained faces at all, instead getting so comfy that he forgets about Ed all up in his hair with a comb and little metal clips that he keeps wriggling and Ed has to physically hold his head still before he rips out any clumps of hair.

do we think that mod au stede's hair would be the same?

like, he'd have to use curlers, right?

anyways, thinking about small stede asking Ed to help him put curlers in. like the kind you sleep in?

of course he doesn't put them in every night, but he still does it enough that ed's become quite skilled at helping him.

to where, small stede only has to sit down and talk away while ed is busy spraying his hair and putting the curlers in.
