Happy new year! As I wrote about a little on Instagram, playing TTRPGs with my friends has been one of the highlights of 2024 for me. I made this piece of art as a gift for my wonderful Vampire: The Masquerade group.

From left to right:

Nate (he/him): Gangrel folksinger and disillusioned WWII vet. Played by yours truly! Also with his therapy dog/famulus, Sammy, the goodest boy.

Francis (they/them): Malkavian psychologist, Anarch, and absolute sweetheart. Beautiful cinnamon roll, too good for this world, too pure. (Their player is not on Tumblr, but is also a delight.)

Dayita (she/her): Ventrue hotelier, played by @transgwenderart ! Incredible, intimidating. A Victorian in denial of the fact that it's 2024, but who's just discovered she's into prog rock.

Nour (she/her): Tzimisce, ex-Sabbat, and medical help for the mortals who end up in vampiric company. May be the farthest from who she was as a mortal, but still gonna keep the bigger monsters at bay. Played by Kal.

Ari (they/them): Malkavian, ALSO a sweetheart, runs a """""book club"""" (cult). One of many beloved NPCs from our Storyteller, @minathered !

Elle (she/her): Toreador fashion designer, 1920s flapper, still recovering from a rough breakup with her Sire. Deeply caring. Played by @usagiwaffles !

Slick Daniel (Slick/Daniel): Beloathed NPC. The Worst. Absolute garbage. Speaks in the third person and refers to everything as ring-a-ding, baby. Made me laugh so hard I started crying. 💜

Cheeky Daniel based on lovely @hummingbee-o0o 's Picking Lint off the Sofa, which I love dearly. But then again I love everything she writes so eh. Go read her fics if you feel like gifting yourself some unmatched witty writing and feels!!

PLEASE tell me someone has made an edit of Armand to Billie Eilish' Bad Guy. The "might seduce your dad type" line just had me picturing him flirting with Daniel in front of Daniel's kids. Plus the entire song is just him 🙏

It's so good and so awful that Silver really is playing up the repentant, remorseful man who's changed, look he's giving back to the community, took down that awful deranged Kreese, wants to help kids, really this time. He's gotten help, changed his life around, and all he wants is Daniel to forgive him and move on.

That's the image he cultivated and so Daniel who is like NOPE THIS MAN IS STILL A MONSTER DON'T BELIEVE HIS BULLSHIT.

He comes off as the unhinged one, the bad guy in the situation. The aggressor while Silver is the victim here.

Like the KIDS the TEENS were like we gotta expose him rather than confront him head on. Get him to reveal himself (or via video yay Tory my girl was SMART). I can't imagine if they didn't have that video how much further shit would have fallen.

Although I gotta give Danny and Chozun points for sending him in to ~spy~, it's just they're up against a billionaire manipulator who is very clearly stalking or having someone follow Daniel around and knows who is in his little circle. Like that man probably has a FILE on everyone Daniel talks or knows. Like the convenient store, the sauna, the charity event, not coincidences that man is full on stalking Danny boy lol
