TAROT KICKSTARTER! Six of Coins
It was an absolute joy to work with 78 Tarot again, this time with a nautical theme! I even got to be in the main deck this year with the (now more relevant than ever) Six of Coins - upright, it signifies generosity, charity, and mutual support; inverted, it tells of greed, selfishness, control, and domination. Hopefully all the owners of this deck will only draw it upright, for all our benefit. Support independent (and many female or queer) human artists and get your deck today ♥ KICKSTARTER LINK

Let's Talk about the Suit of Coins
Tumblr media
The inspiration for this deck was largely the medium itself, the way in which wool feels like a reminder of how closely we're connected to the earth. Each of the suits, each of the cards, seeks to place us back into the world that we're a part of. For cups that's pretty easy, the water symbolism is right there. So what about the suit of coins?
Tumblr media
The suit of coins, also known as the suit of pentacles, is the suit of earth, which this entire deck is, so that isn't helpful. It also generally represents the material world: wealth, work, property, that sort of thing. Which seems pretty antithetical to the kind of deck I'm trying to create. What does ownership matter to the earth, upon which all things reside? What does currency matter to the fox and the fern?
After some reflecting, I came to the conclusion that the best translation of this concept to the earth would be reciprocity. The currency of the planet is life. We trade one life for another - the berry feeding the deer which feeds the wolf whose body will go on to feed the earth and grow another berry bush. We are in community, and it is when we seek harmony with the world that life thrives and we are all richer for it.
Tumblr media
The six of coins in specific symbolizes generosity, both from us and to us. Reversed, that generosity merely is turned inward, and we are encouraged to self care. I wasn't expecting the first card I finished to be the six of coins, but today is a dark day, comrades. And I saw someone I follow calling on people to make something today. "It won't fix the world, but it will change the world." We'll need to be kind to each other going forward more than ever. To give and receive generously, to care for ourselves with as much enthusiasm as we care for others, and to remember that the currency of the world is not money. It's life.

In The Skeleton Tarot Deck, the Six of Coins offers a beautiful and intriguing scene: a skeleton stands in darkness, surrounded by verdant leaves. They wear a cape fastened at the throat and carry a tray of biscuit-like coins adorned with handprints. As they hold up one of the coins, two birds approach, and a small butterfly lands on their head.
Interpretation: This captivating image speaks to themes of generosity, balance, and interconnectedness. The skeleton, offering coins with handprints, symbolizes the act of giving and receiving. The birds approaching the coin and the butterfly on the skeleton's head signify harmony, transformation, and the delicate balance of nature.
Meaning When Drawn: When you draw this card, it suggests that generosity and sharing are key themes in your life right now. It encourages you to consider how you can give to others, whether through time, resources, or support, and reminds you of the importance of receiving graciously as well. The card highlights the balance of give-and-take in relationships and community.
The Six of Coins emphasizes the importance of equitable distribution of resources and support. It urges you to think about how you can contribute to creating a fair and just society by sharing what you have with those in need. This card calls for acts of kindness and generosity, an openness of spirit that reflects the belief that we share what we have (and can expect reciprocity).
In summary, the Six of Coins in The Skeleton Tarot Deck serves as a reminder of the power of generosity and the importance of balance in our interactions with others. It encourages you to share your resources and support with kindness and thoughtfulness, contributing to a more equitable and connected world. 💀💰🌿
When this card appears, consider:
Acts of Generosity: How can you give to others in meaningful ways? Think about how your resources and support can make a difference.
Balance in Giving and Receiving: Reflect on the balance between giving and receiving in your life. Are you open to receiving help when you need it?
Community Support: Look for ways to support and uplift your community. Small acts of kindness can have a big impact.
When this card appears in reverse:
Imbalance in Generosity: Be mindful of potential imbalances in your giving and receiving. Are you giving too much without taking care of yourself, or are you hesitant to share?
Addressing Dependency: Consider if there are dependencies or unhealthy dynamics in your relationships regarding support and resources.
Reevaluating Generosity: Reflect on your motivations for giving. Are your actions truly beneficial to others, or are they driven by other factors?

Hi may I participate in this?
-what kind of job should I get?
-where could I meet new friends?
Initial R
thanks!
 Hi R :)
For your first question, what kind of job should you get, I drew the High Priestess reversed and the Ace of Swords reversed. The very first thing that I want to say is that if you are torn between something YOU are interested in doing and something other people are telling you you SHOULD do, that you should do what is right for yourself!! Listen to your gut. It knows what the right answer is.
Looking at more ins and outs of a job type for you: A job where you have time for introspection seems like it would be a good opportunity for you. Perhaps something creative or research-like. There are problems to solve and allowing a space where your mind can more clearly brainstorm solutions is going to help you flourish. If the above does resonate: you may be looking at a career that is less practical or has less "obvious" results. Other people may think you have to do something that has historically shown results or people think is "safe".
For your second question, meeting new friends, I drew four cards: Strength, Four of Wands, Five of Wands, and Nine of Wands (which is kind of fun because 4 + 5 = 9; so nine might be a good number for you). The main message I get from all of these is to go somewhere that your opinions will be listened to. You may be struggling with your current group of friends because you've grown apart. You have conflicting views of the world and it is getting tough to hold your tongue because you feel passionate about your beliefs. You are allowed to set boundaries with those people and find fresh minds to surround yourself with. If you have certain political beliefs, you could go to a local meeting and meet folks. If you really want to get more into gaming but your current friends aren't interested in learning about your new found interest, you can find people who also like to play and want to gain new skills. If you want to start a new hobby or skill but your current friends don't see the value, go to places that DO! You could go to a game shop or a craft shop and talk to the workers. Gain some insights on where people may go to do these hobbies and join an event. I think really meeting people where they are at so you can start to surround yourself with like-minded people.
Thanks for your request!
$1 and $5 tip options are available on my Etsy shop! These are 100% optional, not expected, and always appreciated.

so we all know about “who the hell is jordie?” “someone i trusted. someone i couldn’t afford to lose”, right, but what we forget is the significance of kaz calling jesper ‘jordie’. it’s not just that jesper is a brother to him- jordie was kaz’s protector. jordie was the 13 year old that protected kaz and who kaz protected, the goofy one who made him smile and bought him hot chocolate at night. he felt safe around him. he trusted jordie with his life. in calling jesper ‘jordie’, kaz shows that subconsciously, he trusts jesper to protect him, that he could turn to him should he need it. and every time he yells at jesper, the gambler who couldn’t stay out of the red, for losing another bet, getting in debt again, all he can see is that same thirteen-year-old boy, swindled out of everything he owned and left for dead on the street. with every word he yells at jesper, he silently urges him to stay alive. with every bet jesper makes, all kaz can think is “i can’t lose a brother. not again.”

I can't be the only one who hears little video-games-esque noises in 600 Strike, right? Near the beginning, you can hear little coin noises? Right? right?
I’m not hearing coins per se- if I’m listening to the right past I assume you are talking about the part where is they are chanting 600 strike? Because I think that might be the jet pack noises we hear earlier in the song? (It’s really really faint though so I might be wrong).
